I think Trump has known Bondi for a long time and he trusts her.

I did trial work for 25 years. I thought she did a very good job in the first impeachment. Those of you here calling her a lightweight or demeaning her ability to do excellent legal work are wrong.
I’m not supportive of the nomination. But she performed way better than 95% of her peers would have performed under very stressful conditions.

It’s making me feel better about her.
Don’t expect perfection. Trump is not perfect and there are still too many RINOs in the House and (especially) Senate. We’re not going to have every single thing we want. But we are still in infinitely better shape than if Kamala had won, or if Trump had won but the Democrats had secured the House majority.

I just think she’s not too bright, basically mush, and while she’s pro-Trump now, for years she was a loyalist taking the advice from and supporting Bush, Romney, and Florida power-brokers. Not a leader, not a strong thinker, not an idea person. So she will take orders from Trump now and be his AG spox (and delegate the work to others), but as very little time goes by, who else will have influence.
