I’ve been with Donald Trump ever since he came down the escalator. I had the good fortune to work with men like him when I was a young man back in the arctic oil fields over fifty years ago.
But now I’m wondering for the first time. Sundance had a strong suspicion of Vance and Ramaswamy. Was that “deal time” with the IC? I rationalized the choice of Rubio, but now this is impossible to to get past, I’m afraid.
I’ve always had the suspicion that Donald Trump was a correction to the main trend. Studying markets most of my life made me think that way. The cycle is going to unfold like it will, but I was at least hopeful that this correction might be a significant one. There is only one way to reset the cycle – we need to go through something like my parents and grandparents went through in the 30s. That’s just what major bear markets do – change the psychology. There is no other way. I believe the Russian people went through this in the 90s – as did China earlier.
Again – old Persian proverb – The dogs will bark, but the caravan moves on. We can see what needs to be done, but human nature never changes. At least we know this to be the case back to Ecclesiastes 3 times.

IIRC, she assigned the case to Angela Corey a states attorney, i.e., district attorney, who was unscrupulous and inept. I don’t know how much Bondi knew about Corey, but it might have been difficult to withdraw Corey once started.
