AG Eric Holder reviewed the case after Zimmerman’s acquittal, and couldn’t find any grounds for a federal case.
But then, Angela Corey and her team did such a sloppy and sleazy job of the prosecution, and Zimmerman had one of the best criminal lawyers in the country, that it would have near impossible for Holder to make a case with the debris Corey left behind. Mark O’Mara’s defense is a master class in how to shred a prosecution.

Here’s my hope, because if the election taught me anything it’s to hold on to hope. I was feeling a lot of despair leading up to it all and now realize hope is all we got. With that being said maybe some of these people have done the things they have done because the corruption has them by the you know what’s. Maybe POTUS is freeing them now to be who they intended to be. We’ve all heard and seen how hard it is to change anything and how the machine that is our bureaucracy just grinds up those with high hopes of changing it. I will hold onto hope that things truly are different now and with PDJT at the helm people will finally be compelled to do the right thing and free us from the injustice we all see. Interesting times to be alive.
Thanks for this, I really mean it. Right now it doesn’t look good, but it will really be about 6-12 months before we will have confirmation of our suspicions or not. We all will feel kind of stupid if what you postulate is correct. However, it is difficult to shake the sinking feeling I have about some of these choices. (sigh)
