The nation of Georgia has learned from watching what the USA did in Ukraine; they want no part of it. The “Georgia Dream” party is essentially the Georgia equivalent of the U.S. MAGA party. Pragmatic, clear-eyed, nationalist-minded voters who do not want the CIA arm of USAID meddling in their affairs.
The majority of the people in Georgia do not support the continual bloodshed in Ukraine, they are pragmatic with their views toward Russia, and they don’t want the USA and Brussels determining their politics for them. Georgia Dream is like a Georgia-First party. They had an election last weekend and retained control over parliament.
Having spent tens of millions financing an attempted color revolution, and with Samantha Power having traveled to Georgia three times (twice while I watched her), the CIA and State Department are not happy with the result.
Power’s only victory was in Poland, she struck out in Hungary, Slovenia, Mexico, Israel and now Georgia.
Once again, Brussels leadership just cannot accept the result of the Georgia election and have vowed an investigation. The U.S. is promising to punish the people of Georgia for supporting the conservative government. A previous application to join the EU bloc is now in limbo, as Brussels and the U.S State Dept now try to figure out their next steps.
Making matters worse, the Georgia people voted to support a referendum that requires any political activist group to make the source of their funding from foreign government a matter of public record. Georgia’s opposition political parties will now have to reveal if they get more than 20% of their activist funding from the USA (they do). This type of transparency makes a color revolution more difficult. Hence, the EU and USA are very angry.
According to the process, Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili does not want expanded war with Russia. Therefore, just like Viktor Orban (Hungary), the prime minister of Georgia was targeted for removal and replacement with a pro-war leader.
Yes, if you want to have a Foreign Agent Registration Act in a nation where the United States is the foreign actor, then you must be a Kremlin stooge. So goes the argument. It would be a lot more difficult for the U.S. to meddle in foreign countries if the people receiving the money from the U.S. had to disclose it to their citizens.

I assume that less and less countries actually want to join the EU bloc, and some of the countries who are in it would like to leave.
The EU days are numbered.
Countries and politicians do (generally) want to join the EU because there are immense money transfers toward poorer countries in the Union.
So, what starts as a self-interested move by the poorer countries ends in slowly loosing sovereignty over their own nations.
Germany gives $$, at the same time manipulates the market for themselves, and further controls the politics of the smaller nations.
The end result is Germany creating dependent countries that will find it hard to leave the EU, but at the same time stay poor while Germany prospers.
Most Hungarians hate the EU for their meddling, but still prefer to stay within the EU for the $$ they receive. It works now, because Orban is still in control. But once he’s removed there will be no future Orban. So, Hungary is balancing on that tightrope quite well, right now, but for how long?
Just ask Romania. Romania agrees to whatever the EU says because the politicians are bought and the manipulation is high. EU is happy, and the Romanian Elites are happy. The people don’t know who to blame because crumbs are given to Romanians who still think they are nuggets of gold.
Last: if any country disobeys they get fined. See Hungary and Poland re immigration. If Germany disobeys, nothing happens. See they reinstating border controls against treaties they signed.
The EU cannot be reformed because Germany will leave before they admit defeat, leaving the rest of the countries poor and, as I said, dependent of them.
Who controls the Euro monetary policy? It ain’t Italy, or Poland.

The EU is a failed experiment just as NATO is a failed alliance. No country should join, and any country seeking to prosper needs to get out of both organizations.

I, personally, actually agree to a Federal Europe, but as always the devil is in the details. The way the whole project was implemented and hijacked makes it almost irreparable.
Also, you can’t really have large 80mil countries like Germany and Estonia with 1mil pop. There has to be a similar to US style “States Rights” Federalism, otherwise, as it happens, the big countries bullies the small ones.
Martin Armstrong actually was asked to advise the fledgling EU about creating their common currency. He insisted that for it to work that the EU had to cancel or pay all the outstanding debt owed by the members. Said it would never work otherwise.

Orban praised the Georgian government for ‘not allowing’ the country ‘to become a second Ukraine’ while staying loyal to its path towards European integration, fixed in the Georgian constitution.
The Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, who has rather a ceremonial role, refused to recognize the election results and called on the opposition for protests.
In response to mass protests in Tbilisi, Georgia’s central electoral commission announced it would recount the votes at five randomly selected polling stations.
I wonder if Orban would have the balls to leave NATO, ally with Russia, and help Putin take out Zelensky, all while daring NATO to do something about it.
Hungary is a landlocked country surrounded by NATO powers. And Hungary is small in size and militarily.
I don’t think Orban would be so stupid as to pull a stunt like that and risk Hungary being invaded from all directions and being taken over by non-Hungarians.

Law and Justice had already completely sold out on Ukraine, and to a lesser extent on immigration because of its policies on Ukrainian refugees. Many people who voted for Law and Justice in the previous election had already vowed to not do so again, for those very reasons.
Law and Justice almost certainly would’ve lost that election even if Power had left it completely alone. And even if by some miracle they won, the outcome still would’ve been a victory for the Deep State.
She went to Poland to undermine the rising populist sentiments expressed by the farmer’s protest and rising tide of populist nationalists to maneuver the parliamentary shenanigans by intrigue that let to globalist Tusk to re-ascend into the role as Prime Minister as he is an elite European globalist who is anti-Russian and pro-Ukraine and against the interests of everyday Polish people.

One of these days ms. powers will travel to one of these countries where she is not welcome and will be “taken care of”. People in most of these countries have little patience for meddlers from the outside, especially from us.
