It was odd on that first night when Joe Biden announced the FBI would be investigating the assassination attempt of Donald Trump, only a few hours after the failed shooting. How did the people around Biden immediately know something went wrong?
Then things got even more sketchy when police reported the assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was spotted and photographed acting suspiciously 30 minutes before the attempted assassination. Unfortunately, they “lost track” of him.
To the commonsense observer, Crooks had to be wandering around the venue for quite a while. I mean, the scheduled start time for the speech was originally 5:00pm, yet President Trump didn’t get started until an hour later 6pm. Obviously, Thomas Crooks would have been doing something for an hour while he waited. What was it?
The sense of something sketchy increased exponentially with all the subsequent updates about the police backing down from the roof when the assassin pointed his gun at them. Especially when considering the lack of Secret Service removing President Trump from the known kill box, and the crowd yelling at law enforcement while Crooks was getting into position, a mere 400 feet from Trump.
Then we find out that multinational media conglomerate Blackrock, just coincidentally used Thomas Crooks in one of their PR ads. To top off the suspicious nature of the networks, Blackrock executives are literally in the White House guiding Joe Biden (see the Donilon family). However, even Suspicious Cat could not make up what comes next.
According to the latest CBS report, Thomas Crooks was spotted by a three-man sniper security detail.
Crooks was seen using a range finder to view the stage where President Trump was soon to arrive. Then Crooks climbed onto the building that was housing the security detail and it was from that position he fired nine shots at President Trump, taking off part of his right ear.
Folks, we are not suspicious enough about this entire set of events.
VIA CBS – There were three snipers stationed inside the building the shooter used during Saturday’s shooting of former President Donald Trump, a local law enforcement officer with direct knowledge of the incident tells CBS News.
The operations plan had them stationed inside the building looking out windows toward the Trump rally. The information about the three snipers being inside the building was first reported by BeaverCountian.com.
One of the snipers inside saw Thomas Matthew Crooks outside and looking up at the roof, observing the building and disappearing, a local law enforcement officer tells CBS News.
Crooks came back, sat down and looked at his phone. At that point, one of the snipers took a picture of him. Crooks took out a rangefinder and the sniper radioed to the command post. Crooks disappeared again and then came back a third time with a backpack. The snipers called in with information that he had a backpack and said he was walking towards the back of the building.
Officers believe that Crooks might have used an air conditioning unit to get on top of the roof.
By the time other officers came for backup, he had climbed on top of the building and was positioned above and behind the snipers inside the building, the officer said. (read more)

When justifying why the Counter Snipers were not positioned on the roof, Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle said Secret Service officials planning security for Trump’s rally considered the warehouse 147 yards away from where Trump spoke to be a risky position for stationing an agent.
Apparently, the Secret Service agent in charged deemed the roof slope too much of a safety hazard to transverse. [LINK HERE]
The roof atop the security counter-snipers was deemed too sloped for safe positioning. The roof behind President Trump was not.

I read a citation from the Crappy News Network that the ‘shooter’ had purchased a 5 foot ladder and 50 rounds of ammunition that day.

One can look at the picture below and count the rungs on the ladder and use standard rung spacing to estimate the height of the ladder, as well as estimate height of the covered corridor and height of the building eves.
I count 9 rungs not including the top plate. However, there might be a tenth not visible at the bottom. I just checked one of my fiberglass utility ladders and the rung spacing is 12″.
I’d put the eves at 10′ minimum, probably 12. My relatively small (5000 sq ft) clearspan building had 14′ eves and rolling doors and a 1:10 roof pitch.

I own a 10 foot telescoping ladder. I can easily store it in my apartment closet. Why have a 10′ ladder in an apartment building? It’s better than having a lake in your carport because the downspouts are choked with leaves, but no one cleans it out. I had to do it, plus close off entry ways into the building that were opened up with some “remodeling” was done. It’s hell having raccoons in the place.

Many standard boxes of cartridges come in 50 packs. Buying one, and bringing one to a legitimate firing location (provided you have a CCW for authorized transport) is nothing unusual. I would often go through a carton of 50 in a typical range session.

The ladder, however, is a huge red flag that cannot be innocuously explained away.

His car was a Hyundai Sonata. Even if he folded down the rear-seats he could not fit anything much longer than a 5′ ladder in without having it dangling out beyond the trunk-lid. He supposedly bought the ladder and ammo near his house and then drove up to Butler, about 30-40 miles.
The ladder in the photos looks much taller and has a spread base. That would not have fit into his car. Somebody else brought that or it was already there on site.

The LEO was hoisted up on the shoulders of another LEO, on the side of the building OPPOSITE the ladder (the side of the building where all the bystanders were). Because of the reach the LEO had to use both hands to pull himself up enough on the eve to see up onto the roof, precluding the ability to have his service weapon drawn.
When the shuter suddenly wheeled around and pointed his rifle at the LEO it startled him (understandable, especially considering he couldn’t draw his weapon), he lost his grip, and fell to the ground hard enough he injured his ankle.
These two LEOs, considering their location and in the heat of the moment, couldn’t have known there was a ladder already in place on the other side of the building.
Because they were ordered to HOLD their fire until the OTHER deep-state assassination team did their dirty work, which was to let Crooks take a shot (and IF he actually did he may have hit Corey Comperatore) and then almost simultaneously shoot PDJT (second team, shooter 1) and then a shot to neutralize Crooks (second team, shooter 2).

Thinking this through …. the bullet is definitely travelling well above the speed of sound so the potential for sonic boom exists. But the bullet itself isn’t producing sound, so it’s not like an aircraft with loud engines and the engine sound pressure waves stack up. There is noise though as the bullet travels through the air, the whizzing noise Trump described. I need to understand that noise to determine if those pressure waves can stack up and cause a boom. I’m leaning toward thinking that there is a sonic boom but it’s barely or not perceptable by the human ear. Not sure yet though.
Having been downrange and having 7.62 bullets fired at me, I can tell you it’s a zip sound when they’re close and more of a crackle when they’re farther away. That’s how you know if they’re shooting at you.

let me see if I can explain it in simple terms
the very loud report you hear from a supersonic weapon is the relatively massive overpressure that happened right at the end of the barrel, the muzzle. At supersonic speeds, the bullet and ALL the explosive expanding gases travel through ambient pressures and then return nearly as rapidly back to fill a over pressured vacuum of space. This is the loud report you hear. The bullet as it travels beyond that “blast area” while traveling at supersonic speeds is miniscule in comparative mass and thus does not produce a very loud supersonic train wave. It exists, but it is very small and so the overpressure waves are also very small. It sounds, like a high whistle noise, BUT ONLY if you are very close to the traveling bullet (think within a foot or less). not ironically, when the bullet actually impacts into something immovable and sturdy, that supersonic speed (and mass) is converted to heat, and wave energy…this wave energy is sufficient to create quite a bit of audible noise and also below and above the “human range of hearing” frequencies. Hitting a very soft tissue like the ear, would not produce very much wave energy, heat or much of any audible noise. And at the supersonic speeds, esp at these short distances, President Trump would have unlikely been able to detect event the short whistling noise as it passed close to his ear. One has to understand that the report of the gun blast from this distance ( a short distance) would have likely been what he heard and his ears (brain) would not have been able to differentiate that noise from the traveling bullet whistling noise.
for reference a 55 grain 223 round (typical for the ar platform) will take approximately 0.11 seconds to travel 400 feet.
the rifle was pointed directly to him…the muzzle noise would have reached him just shortly after he reacted to being shot in the ear. Reflexively, this helps explain why he moved a second time, very quickly.
from my perspective…this shows me that President Trump is not only very aware of his surroundings, but has excellent reflexes.. That stands as a testament to his overall condition. I doubt many men his age would have reacted in the same way…NOR would many dare to raise back up quickly and demonstrate a certain kind of courage and steel spine in the way that he did. Most would crawl away..whimper and probably shit their pants.

Well, the “crack” as it’s called, is the sound of the bullet breaking the sound barrier as it passes the microphone. That is a completely different sound & distinctive from the weapon report. You will hear the “crack” first then the report. Sometimes it is mistaken for two shots but it is just one.

the actual rifle report that we’re hearing from 130 yards away arriving at our ears?
there are certain meteorological and other physical conditions (think acoustic environment like a canyon, versus a music studio), where sound waves are not simple waves, but can develop dynamically. think how the pebble creates a concentric expanding ring of waves across a pond. Now think about the shape and rebound of those waves as they pass across different shapes and the edges of the pond. To the “observer/listener” it is understandable that you can hear a very dynamic wave that can be realized as more than one signal source.
also the concussive report can be what is referred to as a recording phenomenon. In optic/sensor we call this “artifacts”. This can also happen with the human ear. This almost always happens (if it does happen), in overpressure situations. The ear (brain really) receives a very powerful overpressure and subsequent to the that overpressure which is sensed, is also another “sensed” …this is a false sense. think of how you look at a very bright bright light. for moments, wherever you look, there appears to be a bright “blind” spot. Which goes away after a certain period of time. This is also true for high overpressure waves on the ear. it is an artifact…a phenomenon that exists because the ear (brain) has been saturated by very powerful waves. It CAN process the first real waves, but the artifacts realize a second and even more than a second wave. The “ringing” in your ears from very loud sounds is such an artifact, but also is a second report.
and then lastly, there the recording equipment itself. and similar to the ear (brain), it can also experience artifacts. Like so many of my age (early 1950’s) I received my first firearm around 10 yrs. The quintessential . 22 single shot rifle. I haven’t been shooting for decades. It is clear I need get out and shoot.
I enjoy shooting. I learned this from my father, who learned from his and whom learned from his bow building dad. There is something very fundamental about using a tool to reach out and make contact with something distant. I think this is a very human feature. We do it all the time. we use a fork to eat. it is basically the same thing, perhaps more “civilized”. I dive into the wood and find myself quite right at home. But I am also here in the present, knowing that one way or another the skills passed to me from my ancestors mark me in a transcendental way. I feel proud of my heritage. it’s the only one I’ve got. Who could want for more?

I called the Butler, PA police department and asked why they hadn’t arrested the shooter’s parents who had bomb making material in their home. The police officer forwarded me to a Pennsylvania state trooper who told me that the FBI took over the investigation and directed me to the FBI field office in Pittsburgh.
