Representative Harriet Hageman used the opportunity of the House Weaponization Committee hearing, on the Lawfare trial of Donald Trump in New York, to outline Rep. Dan Goldman’s (D-NY) conflict of interest.
Goldman has hired Judge Merchan’s daughter – a clear conflict of interest. Additionally, Goldman has admitted to coaching Trump witness Michael Cohen prior to his testimony. Harriet Hageman outlined the details of the issue, while Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) claimed an immediate point of order in order to hide the information. WATCH:

I find it hard to believe that an attorney could “coach” a proven liar and perjurer and not reasonably recognize the risk that Cohen could be lying again.

I was so wrong about Hageman. When she ran for Cheney’s seat I was unconvinced. She had worked on Cheney’s campaign and, allegedly, worked with Ted Cruz to keep Trump from getting the republican nomination. She has proven to be an EXCELLENT representative in the House AND for the State of Wyoming. Numerous instances where she has called things out as they are and not gone along with the party establishment.
A Democrat leader of committee would have overruled a Republican immediately instead of playing a whiney Nicely Nicely with her until he had a conference with someone else to give him the cojones to shut her down.

Not a Rep, a Del. Allowed because House rules provide for Delegates. Specifically Rule III clause 3. Note that the House conducts much of its business as “Committee of the Whole House on the State of the Union”.
