Even “democratic republic” although used most often and being far more accurate than “democracy”, does not automatically by definition include the federal government that the U.S. Constitution has established. The “Constitutional republic” aspect is how the 3rd branch – Judicial – is established.

While your statements are not incorrect, that last description is still generically insufficient. There are constitutional republics unlike ours. This issue was the subject of much discussion between our founders. We are a hybrid at best.

Cicero in De Re Publica (Of the Republic or Commonwealth) seemed to view Plato’s republic as idealistic, in that it required people like the “Guardians” who wouldn’t exist in real life. For Cicero there were three forms of government; monarchy, aristocracy, and democracy. He saw all three as tending towards corruption. The modern republic vs democracy characterization seems to be an artifact of the 1950s-60s as conservatives sought to distinguish American government from USSR/Soviet governments which styled themselves as “democracies”.
As any polity gets larger, it seems inevitable that a democratic form would require representatives. In theory representatives should express “will of the people”; in practice representatives form a class of their own resulting in a class interest.

I have always admired his views on lying. I tried to instill that in my kids the best I could. 2 of them got it and understood. Unfortunately, one did not, but such is parenting. Here’s the way it shakes down in Central Indiana – flattery is a huge bolster to egos and these people are egomaniacs.
New politicians are awkward, say anything and agree to anything to get elected. Then the soirees and special appointments / projects / committees start. A few colorful people who are slick with the tongue come up and engage in conversation wanting to know all about what makes you tick. They offer you an “in” on a “grant” from the government they landed to create a movie or some other production that’s easy to hide money laundering. They want to help you “build your platform”.
I’ve seen too many suckered into staying “really busy” for the Establishment with these little games. They sideline the true influencers and put them on “assignments” that keeps the influencer busy, but does not disrupt the Establishment. Get them teaching the homeschool kids government and policy – because the homeschool kids already are sure thing votes. Don’t let the influencer go into enemy territory – they want to keep the factions for their use. Have them writing petitions or bogus legislation that they never have any intention of passing. As a matter of fact, that is a HUGE JOKE here in that they actually take a bill written to protect the innocent and through committee they distort it into something barely recognizable actually attacking the innocent it was originally incepted to protect. Then they run down the clock of the legislative session… let the bills die… and shrug their shoulders that “maybe we try again next session”.
Then those politicians who made all the false promises during campaigning ditch their constituents, telling them they “know better what is needed for the common good”. The constituents attack and the newbies seek shelter under the Establshment wings, confide and hide a little too much, until suddenly their eldest daughter or son gets caught monkeying around. A few calls to the local authorities by the right people and suddenly Johnnie and Susie are free and their record expunged.

Tucker was extremely angry with President Trump because he thought that his actions were bringing the whole conservative movement into ill repute. So, he let loose with a lot of angry words and nasty language. He didn’t at the time understand what was really going on. He had always liked Donald Trump, but like someone can get really angry at a friend, he got mad. And he has apologized.
I think that he finally understood a lot more of what was going on, has been horrified to realize it, and has since supported President Trump.

The things that Tucker Carlson tries to explain, are really what is going on. And I have to say, how happily surprised I am to hear him speak so thoughtfully and with such conviction. The Scriptures say in a number of places, how that God will send to the world of the ungodly, evil and deceiving spirits, “spirits of demons working miracles;” because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved, so God sends to them a strong delusion, that they should believe what is false; while at the same time letting go from them all restraint, for them to finally do all that they have imagined to do against the LORD.
Think about these things in terms of God seeking an occasion against His enemies.

Early on, Tucker rambles on about “supernatural” beings and it’s hard to follow his train of thought, but he did speak about “some kind of energy that’s scrambling people’s brains and people have died..” NOW I think I get the gist of it.
Tucker is preparing (grooming?) us for the worldwide **5G** onslaught that is ramping up to hit like a tsunami. Yes, the people who have been so very busy connecting our planet to 5G now HAVE the technology that can “scramble people’s brains” and kill them.

If you read Enoch, Ezekiel amongst others and not come away with the belief on the existence of life outside our tiny planet, I would question your reading comprehension.
As a Christian. I believe, there is a spiritual/supernatural side to everything, that there is Good and there is Evil.
In my life, I’ve experienced both and though I can truly say I could care less about what either of these gentlemen have to say, it’s awesome they are at least broaching the possibility of spirituality, talking to millions, which will lead people to look.
For me my answers came through Jesus Christ.
I didn’t think I’d watch the entire 3 hours, but it was well worth it. One basic theme in the entire interview: just as the interview starts, 1:53:00, 2:13:00 2:25:00 2:28:00, 2:50:00, 2:54:00, 2:55:00, etc., etc. We are watching (or are involved in) a good vs evil showdown. Tucker seems to think that the evil force is actually a force that is here in earth, potentially supernatural (bringing in UAP’s, etc., that have been here since before the time of the Bible, etc), which acts upon and controls the weak (as in our government reps), and, in essence, when is questioned responds: ‘What are you gonna do about it, bitch?’ Obviously, there must be something that can be done about it, otherwise evil always wins. If all things are meant to be, then each one of us is here, living at this time in history, because we are meant to be. While evil is gathering up its soldiers for the ultimate showdown, good must do the same thing, as well. And if you believe in God (which Tucker does) you must believe that despite how painful the future is going to be, good will win (and we are here, at this very time, to assist with this). That’s what I took away from this interview.

Just got to the part on the black nationalist in Florida and Rogan can’t figure out why the FBI would raid him and make such a big scene.
