NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg always reminds me of former ODNI James Clapper. Both men, a little ordinary, had a tendency to say the obvious non-political ordinary thing accidentally, and that would seemingly frustrate the political narrative engineers.
Stoltenberg did it again recently when he was questioned about the horrific and horrible likelihood that terrible Russia would expand their military conflict beyond Ukraine. Surely, given the intensity of the common western narrative, this Russian expansion was only a matter of timing. Nope….
According to the NATO Secretary General, “…we don’t see any direct or imminent threat against any NATO Ally. And therefore, we, of course, monitor closely what Russia does, we have increased our vigilance, our presence in the eastern part of the Alliance, but the whole idea of that is to prevent an attack on a NATO Ally.” {LINK}
What Stoltenberg said was transparently true and confirmable simply by looking beyond the preferred western talking points. However, no doubt his tracked and monitored cell phone was immediately receiving apoplectic calls from the U.S. State Dept for going off script.
Another transparently true thing is, the eastern Ukraine killing stops as soon as President Trump wins the 2024 general election.
The problem for the demonic hordes is that they can’t even coordinate their propaganda.
When the Soviet Union capitulated under Regan I was optimistic that relations with Russia would be normalized with the caveat trust but verify but instead they were treated as a punching bag and maybe in time become an ally and major trade partner. Instead it became the target of war pigs.
Russia took a nationalist turn when Boris Yeltsin succeeded Gorbechev. Team Putin succeeded Yeltsin.
Globalists didn’t like that and started expanding NATO eastward.
Ukraine was part of Russia,
Russia has had a port in that part of the world pretty much forever,
the installed regime decided they wanted to take that from Russia.
personally i dont blame Russia for saying FU and fighting these globulist turds
If Russia is coming, we have about 20 or so years before they reach us. The battle is about attrition, not turf.

All of a sudden they have found truth.
Not really, it just slips out every now and then.
Sometimes the slower thinkers are the quickest to learn the truth.
If Russia had wanted to “overwhelm Ukraine” without regard to civilian lives, it could have done so and still could. Instead, it embarked upon a limited(!) military operation, stating its objectives at the start and sticking to them ever since. It did this only after years of diplomacy had failed.
Meanwhile, NATO continues to belie its official stance as being “defensive,” by purposely seeking to station military bases within a few miles of Russia’s borders, systematically and on every side it can reach. Only “offensive” plans justify such deployment. Russia is neither blind nor stupid.
In both cases: “actions speak louder than words.”
Russia does continue to exercise one quality that the West knows not: “restraint, in the face of very deliberate provocation.” It sought diplomacy in good faith with people it realized were lying through their teeth, and nonetheless did this “patiently” for several years. It offers diplomacy now, although it has no reason to. It has savage military strength and the industry to back it up, but isn’t using it. Yet.
But: do not poke The Bear.
Russia could have won the “war” in a weekend. They chose not to.
Finally the real truth pops out. Sadly after billions of wasted dollars and thousands of lives.
Hundreds of thousands
When you want to create an international market for your military-industrial “goodies,” you must have a booger-man. That has always been, first “the USSR,” then “Russia.” Never mind that Russia paid by far the highest price in blood during WW2.
“Russia” was the enemy … “trope.”
Quick,…. someone publicly ask Tricky Nikki Nimrata her response to Stoltenberg’s announcement,…. I enjoy watching her twist her policy positions into pretzels.
Honestly, I would prefer Putin over the Obama/Biden regime.
Yeah, but unfortunately, that’s still a year away..
