None of the justices provided any explanation for their vote.

While the ruling is infuriating, this ruling also leaves the Biden administration completely politically exposed. SCOTUS has once again ruled that the Federal has full authority over the border. There is absolutely no escaping the disaster the current administration created. Immigration was squarely in the election cycle before, but now there is no bail-out from the states.
Future administrations will be able to push their authority in ways that are more legal. Unfortunately significant damage has already been caused.

I. President Trump has worked closely with Chameleon Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on judicial appointments and has often followed the recommendations of the “Federalist Society”. Those who want, can follow how a supposedly “conservative” 6-3 SCOTUS majority is reflected in decisions.
He has also complied with requests from DJT hater then Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to propel Judge Justin Walker (40y) to the D.C.’s U.S. Court of Appeals. Anyone who has even a vague idea what this court knows Walker’s effects on J6 cases.
II. Today, three years ago, Paul Sperry wrote a piece [1] how CIA’s Eric Ciaramella and Sean Misko sabotaged President Trump’s America 1st agenda without being held accountable for. Later, President Trump was impeached but never rehabilitated. Simply because GOP doesn’t have the necessary votes, no matter who services as Speaker of the House.
III. Garret Graves (R-LA) represent 6th district which will be States 2nd black-majority district. Consequently, his re-election is in jeopardy.

Makes my heart happy to hear you say this…. I feel less like a voice in the wilderness. I have read a lot of his works.
There are a lot of grifters out there “fundraising for MAGA”. My suggestion was to start a small, dedicated, automatic $10/month autodebit campaign, with 1/3 to 1/2 of 2020 Trump voters on it. It would, with little pain, raise enormous sums of $$ to finance viable candidates. It would give MAGA a running chance for our guys, as we have no “donor class” to fund us.
I have some original Tea Party friends who might be interested, IF AND ONLY IF there were a substantial response to the suggestion, as it’s so much work, and we’d be putting a huge portion of the money back into the fund. I’ve been mentioning the idea here for two years. Very little response here.
Was have run some high-level campaigns and I know jow exhausting it, so gauging the market response is critical. I’ve been left holding the bag several times, dumped on, so I’m gun shy, but we need MONEY to support viable candidates.

I expected this decision. The Constitution is very clear about who is responsible for controlling our borders. The lawsuit they should be entertaining is that our Federal Government is not doing their job when that job is defined, however poorly, by Congress. We have to elect PDJT or we will never get the border under control. PDJT will need to get some revisions made in in the immigration laws so that there is a clear mandate as to how the law is to be enforced. I don’t think that will happen in short order, so we will have to settle for whatever PDJT can do with the existing law for now.
Our border has been screwed up for at least 60 years, so the wall will be the only serious improvement. I am not insulted by this decision by the Supreme Court. They want the other branches to do what they are supposed to do according to the Constitution. The fact that the founders could not even imagine how many ways our border can be breached is no reason for Congress to defer to the Courts about immigration law. I am sure that if Jefferson, Hamilton, and Adams had known how easy it is to cross our border in an airplane, a car, a van, a small boat, a life jacket, and with a cell phone on your person, they may have been more explicit about who may cross and with what reason.
Sundance should not be angry about what was done. We the People have to force our Congress to pass revisions which clarify the immigration laws and, as usual, that won’t be easy.
The clauses in our Constitution, Life, Liberty and Justice ensure our Right to defend ourselves. Let’s see how the Justices respond to the police deciding not to defend them and their property, specifically.
So, does this absolve every state government from liability resulting from migrant illegals, and would hold the federal government and Biden and Myorkas solely accountable for treason, trafficking drugs, people, and guns?
Furthermore, does abdication of one’s responsibility to uphold the law, divest such persons of their qualified immunity?
It’s an important question.

Unfortunately I suspect the same decision, with maybe a different mix, on President Trump’s immunity. The SCOTUS is not going to save the Republic.

It’s been apparent that SCOTUS is compromised for some time now. I think Abbotts idea to bus the invaders to the Justices neighborhoods is appropriate. They are living in a cocoon and are totally out of touch with our republic. Disgusting.
This is just a hint of how they’re going to rule on the insurrection cases.

President Trump and his team early in his second term next January, besides dumping Jello Brain McConnell as Senate Leader need to also scour to find the smoking gun that would force the snake USSCCJ Roberts resignation so that Alito, Thomas or Gorsuch could be elevated and another Conservative jurist could be added to the Court! We would need a majority MAGA Senate as well.
Quite frankly, we need to play smashmouth (as Bannon says) Ion these justices. We know Dims do, let’s us do it, too.
Scare the crap out of them. Make them step down. But we need P. Trump AND THE SENATE to approve his justices.
