We also need legislation to take away immunity away from prosecutors and judges for any MAGA supporter discrimination with reciprocal punishment. So if you cause a Trump supporter to be in jail for 4 years for doing nothing wrong then they should be jail for (at least) 4 years. No Robert, I do not think there should be a protected class. All of the people should have fair and equal treatment. Justice should uphold the constitution and rule on the merits. There is law already available to punish perpetrators. Our legal system is perverted and corrupted. There are many people in government and civil society across many groups of special and self interest that need to be held accountable for manipulating and subverting the system.

I was shocked to find out that kibbutz’s near the West Bank had their guns locked in an armory in the kibbutz and were unobtainable when Hamas attacked. I believe there was one kibbutz that was prepared. I was under the misimpression that many Israelis open carried rifles and hand guns but especially in a border kibbutz! My understanding was that it was for 400 officer promotions total all ranks, and that 10-11 for 4 star were held up.
Update: most of these promotions were for O-6 thru O-9 (colonel to lieutenant general 3-star).
Some, if not most of the 0-9s got promoted to more responsibilities, but not more rank to O-10 (4 star).
The promotions to O-10 (10-11) are still apparently still held up.
