In an era of universal deceit there comes a time when extraordinary actions become necessary. For those who are deep within the fight, understanding becomes ordinary and few words are needed. We know, we fight, we remain steadfast….
The unabashed, resolute and indefatigable Argentinian Trump, Javier Milei, has won a historic election as the choice of the pragmatic working class who have tried all methods of addressing their grievances only to have their voices dismissed.
BUENOS AIRES — A radical libertarian and admirer of Donald Trump rode a wave of voter rage to win Argentina’s presidency on Sunday, crushing the political establishment and bringing the sharpest turn to the right in four decades of democracy in the country.
Javier Milei, a 53-year-old far-right economist and former television pundit with no governing experience, claimed nearly 56 percent of the vote in a stunning upset over Sergio Massa, the center-left economy minister who has struggled to resolve the country’s worst economic crisis in two decades. Even before the official results had been announced Sunday night, Massa acknowledged defeat and congratulated Milei on his win.
Trump also congratulated Milei. “I am very proud of you,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “You will turn your Country around and Make Argentina Great Again!”
Voters in this nation of 46 million demanded a drastic change from a government that has sent the peso tumbling, inflation skyrocketing and more than 40 percent of the population into poverty. With Milei, Argentina takes a leap into the unknown — with a leader promising to shatter the entire system.
In his first speech as president-elect, Milei told Argentines that “the model of decadence has reached its end. There is no turning back.”
“Enough of the impoverishing power of the caste,” he said. “Today we once again embrace the model of liberty, to once again become a world power.” His supporters joined him in shouting: “Long live freedom, damn it!”
Milei will take office on Dec. 10, the 40th anniversary of Argentina’s return to democracy after the fall of its military dictatorship. (read more)
Freedom is a word often thrown around by those inside the political sphere as they seek to retain the illusion of choice by controlling the population. However, freedom in its truest sense is a battle cry of those who are ignored by the same control agents of government.
As the Washington Post, aka the U.S. intelligence apparatus, dutifully notes, nothing is yet known as to how this will ultimately unfold; but what is known is that something will change…. and that my dear friends is a necessary start.
Being comfortable in the uncomfortable is the first step in regaining something lost; something that is unachievable through use of systems constructed to control outcomes. A “leap into the unknown,” is an apt expression made by those who see their control mechanisms failing. However, for those who are victimized by the status quo “a leap into the unknown” is worth the effort.
I am past the point of proffering polite requests, only to find deaf ears. It is time to make our own history.
Congratulations Argentina. WE, those who cherish freedom, ARE WITH YOU!
We must do or do not, there is no longer time for ‘trying’.
“We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.
And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later.
We will tend the flame because we are worth it.
We will ignite the flame, because we deserve it.
Fearless….
Steadfast…
Wolverines!
Big win!
Just coincidence it was hand counted paper ballots, from in person voting with IDs, with results known later same day.
Coincidence I guess.
Reality in simplicity. Don’t tell anyone here that this system used to work for us too.
Milei’s Long-Term Victory Depends on Him Winning in the Battle of Ideas

On Sunday, Javier Milei was elected president of Argentina by a comfortable margin, with 56 percent of the vote. He will be sworn in as president on December 10.
Over the past year, however, Milei has made a name for himself as an extremely vocal critic of socialism, central banks, and many types of government intervention in general. He has become memorable for fiery commentary condemning the Left’s ideology and tactics while expressing an interest in immediate (i.e., not gradualist) change. He has said he seeks to abolish Argentina’s central bank and introduce the US dollar as the country’s dominant currency.
His fiscal policy is far more in the free-market direction than any other head of state in a country as large as Argentina (with 46 million residents). Milei has expressed admiration for the work of Murray Rothbard, F.A. Hayek, and a variety of economists who are more centrist than Rothbard and Hayek, but which we might reasonably describe as more-or-less free market. Moreover, Milei self-identifies as a supporter of the Austrian School of economics.
If Milei remains committed to reining in (or abolishing) the central bank, lowering taxes, and cutting government spending, Milei has the opportunity to push through real economic reforms that could provide relief to the beleaguered Argentinian middle class. These people have suffered greatly under decades of easy-money-induced price inflation, and an ever-growing burden of taxation and regulation.

The Economics of Javier Milei

The election of Javier Milei brings the first anarchocapitalist world leader in history. Although prolific in the Spanish-speaking world, English speakers know very little of the Argentine´s views. The fact that he heads the Libertarian Party of Argentina certainly hints at what direction his politics run.
Earlier this year, Philipp Bagus and I edited a two-volume book in honor of Jesús Huerta de Soto. Milei wrote a chapter entitled “Capitalism, Socialism, and the Neoclassical Trap.” To my knowledge, it is Milei´s only writing made directly in English for an English audience.
If anyone doubts Milei´s credentials, the chapter is a scathing critique of neoclassical growth theory. It also offers a full-blown Rothbardian alternative. Mises´s work on interventionism and Hayek´s knowledge problem form the basis of his analysis.
Speaking of neoclassical economic analysis, Milei writes:

HAVE ARGENTINE VOTERS FINALLY CHOSEN LIBERTY? TIME WILL TELL

Correct. I expect that they’d not really accept the influx of fellow traveler from the “phony war”in the late 1930’s. Those that the Russians would not allow to return to their homeland after the failed conflict. Argentina, will rise again, and the enenrgy will come from the people. Yet another example of failed socio-communism, and the megalithic Corporate Dictatorship. The momentum is shifting. After all, it was and is, the people, who own the
Government.
i OWE KATIE HOPKINS an ALE ( or TWO ) !
( SURE SHE WASN’T a COASTIE ? )
She is the “gobby one”.
Party pooper here; all hell broke loose when Trump descended on the escalator to announce his candidacy for the presidency. That was when his the conspiracy began to take him down and the same thing is going on there. The fight has not been won in Argentina, it has just been escalated. This is not a time to celebrate, it is a time to be on guard.
Very true, but on the other hand, Argentinian males still have gonads, unlike the vast majority of their North American counterparts. And Argentina’s people have truly been under duress. Not the US “My Twinkies cost more!!” and gas being expensive type of inconvenience, but almost half of the country is in poverty. Also not US poverty. In the US, people in poverty are fat as f*ck and all have tablets and cell phones that they are glued to at the expense of reality. Fat, well-fed people do not rebel. My hope is that Argentina is READY! We’re not, but we eventually will be. I’m not making light of our predicament in the US, but it’s a relativity thing. I can only hope that the people of Argentina are successful and can lead us by example. Maybe if the US is shown a proper example of a free people, it will break their Frito-Lay induced comfort enough to get them to LIVE!
Disclaimer, I have nothing against Hostess of Frito-Lay, but if Americans could moderate their intake of said products (among others), we could have a revolution here too!
Wrong. Americans did show their “gonads” and are now buried in the ground or sitting in a Gulag being tortured and tormented by Stalinist thugs in the so-called “land of the free.”
I can walk and chew gum at the same time, so I’ll be celebrating while being on guard. But I get your point. 🙂
My two favorite videos of Milei are where he hugs a young boy who is weeping tears of joy, and the segment where Milei literally rips the government agency titles off of a white board and tosses them over the shoulder.
NOTE TO ALL NON-ESSENTIAL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES: WE THE PEOPLE DO NOT NEED NOR WANT NOR REQUIRE YOUR SERVICES. START LOOKING FOR A REAL JOB IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR. WE’LL SEE WHETHER YOU CAN HANDLE THE BS WE THE PEOPLE HAVE TO DEAL WITH EVERY FREAKING DAY.
It’s typical of the WaPo trash to describe anyone as “far-right” if they aren’t a drum-beating communist parasite. If trash like that is upset with you, then you’re definitely doing something right.
Something shady about this actor. Question everything.
I’m not a big fan of Vox Day, but he does sometimes have an interesting take on things.

Powerful forces are aligned against him. They are deciding if and when to destroy him.
“When you kill a Tyrant his influence ends…when you kill a Martyr his influence begins.”
This man needs the prayers of millions.
Too globalist for my taste though I like some of his position. I suppose he has no choice about the dollarization. Cleanest dirty short. But support for Ukraine is a disqualifier. I wonder whether this is a suck-up to get a US bailout. It’s not like Argentina is in a place to do anything about Ukraine anyway. No deals with communist countries is a plus but what about the US or Canada or anyone in the EU except Hungary.
Well….I didn’t see this one coming. Argentina must really be in the gutter for this sea wave change. Although, even though we may celebrate, I just offer a word of caution. Just several months, nay years ago, we celebrate the rise of Meloni in Italy and sadly we were disappointed. Maybe the problems in Italy were too much to bear, but she has yet to deliver.
With Milei, even though though he may be a populist like Trump there are some noticeable differences. He is a libertarian, so he is slightly lax on drugs and “the oldest profession”. I won’t hold that against him, because I’ve heard in some quarters that the reason why many folks voted for him was the lax approach to crime they have had in Argentina for a while, and Milei was probably proposing to change that.
At the end of the day, I think Argentina deserves to enjoy this moment. I hope that Milei will be able to meet these challenges and bring Argentina back to it’s previous glory. It’s truly a nation with so much wasted potential.
He wants the Falklands back. Given how this site is creaming over him, if he goes for Round 2, can we expect this site to be cheering on the deaths of British soldiers and sailors? Will this site be demanding US forces be deployed on Argentina’s side against Britain?
He’s an Argentine politician. He HAS to say that. I highly doubt he will do anything!!
I hope he is as advertised but these days there are reasons to have concerns.
Now the globalists will begin their infiltration of Soros operatives in gov and lawfare to make sure his kind are never elected again, as they did with DJT in the country formerly known as the USA.
He had better be ruthless and have an army of security guarding him …. nothing Communists hate worse than losing a country’s presidency they had in their back pocket! He HATES Communists and states so regularly !
Another great young leader from the WEF! Klaus must be so happy!
