The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity.

Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit.
A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough. They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it. You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.
Do not allow them to gaslight you into thinking the good is the enemy of the perfect.
In the real world, most things are never perfect, but if we try real hard, we can get plenty of good accomplished in the coming 4 years.

The purpose and goals of President Trump are plainly visible by his actions and consistent: He is for the benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world. It is validating, even to our battered conservative skepticism.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating. He hammers actions based on truth from one direction, then another, and they cannot mount an organized opposition against him.
President Trump is transparent in his words and actions. He is consistent in what he says, what he does, and what he asks/demands of others. His promises are bold and he keeps them like no other president has. He continues to make massive, nearly overnight changes, not only in our country, but in the world. It is amazing that he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass. This second term, he is weeding them out faster and choosing like-minded servants who multiply his effectiveness. No U.S. president has ever faced so much organized resistance and treason than President Trump
He has chosen to use his intellect and every skill he has to do what is right. He has tremendous faith that he can make a difference in this world. He has a confidence and courage such that he doesn’t care what others think, yet a humility to know he has to do it with the help of like minded people. Those people are the “common” people, and he ridicules those who think they are not common. He does not show humility before men, but his actions show humility before God.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world to enable and give opportunity for people to be happy and prosperous.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who have been selfishly taking advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; and who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore. He is not afraid to call out our enemies.
He has cultivated and focused the family of MAGA. Identifying those people whose goodness, industriousness, trust, and obedience have been taken advantage of and abused. He has opened our eyes to this abuse, and to the rights of freedom and self determination that have been quietly stolen from us.
He has rekindled the same healthy distrust held by our founders of government and men with too much power. He has recultivated the desire to reclaim our freedoms and rights, and is empowering us with a hope and pathway to reclaim our spiritual and economic freedom.
He wants the US to be a light of hope on the hill for all people. He will negotiate win/win agreements with those nations and countries who respect us; who respect the principles and intent of our Constitution. If you do not respect us, however, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness, or share in our wealth at our expense. If you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us, until you show that you value your people as much as we value ours. He believes that nations who treat their people well will also be good economic neighbors with us.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of whom truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth, which reflect the will and design of our Creator, and are the best standard by which we should live. These same principles were what our country’s founders used to declare independence, and framed into the Constitution of this nation.
Our founders believed that a nation should preserve the right and freedom of an individual to seek, understand, and live by God’s principles. They believed that free individuals working together in humility would make a stronger nation than a government which dictates its will on the people. President Trump professes and seeks to lead and restore this nation back to these same principles.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. Because we follow universal principles, we see the snowballing acceleration of momentum. Lord please bring your power and might in the daily working of this sacred Nation you gave us.

It may not matter. Hollywood is dying. There is a shift happening in the entertainment industry and it’s been ongoing for a long time.
The last Hollywood movie I went to see with the exception of taking the grand-kids to a couple of kids movies was Risky Business in 1983 and before that the first Star Wars movie. I don’t even watch them on TV. Mostly now I watch foreign subtitled movies. I find them more interesting and exciting with different plots instead of all the special effects in the stale Hollywood stuff with spoiled stars. I avoid French movies too, they try to hard to be artsy.

Bulgakov is known primarily for The Master and Margarita. The film “Flight” combines the work of 3 novels into a film, about the experience of a ‘White’ family during the war with the Bolsheviks.
The story begins in Kiev, leads to Sebastopol, in flight from the Bolsheviks, and to the Bosphrus Straits, and Paris.

I like psychological thrillers the best. Any good history stuff. Organized crime stuff from inside the crime organization. War stuff sometimes fits into that but I don’t look for it specifically.
I’ve been enjoying Russian and Ukrainian tv series and movies. I have two girlfriends (both super conservative) who’ve been hooked on k dramas for years but I haven’t tried them yet.
My wife got hooked on Turkish dramas after watching ‘Magnificent Century ‘. I even watched it for historical reasons though it’s a bit soap opera-ey. It’s over 60 episodes.
Consumers are no longer buying — or supporting — what Hollywood is selling.
The plug has been pulled. 🔌
I don’t go to the movies or watch them on TV. I do buy used DVDs so hollywood doesn’t get any credit or money for them.
My recent trips to a movie theater have all been to see “The Chosen,”about the life of Jesus and His apostles. I am happy to support this strictly crowd funded, NON-Hollywood production that brings Biblical characters to life in a way that inspires Christians to dig deeper into our faith.
The strange part, however, is that over the five years I’ve been going, the theater is invariably empty save for maybe a dozen attendees at each showing. And with all the recent Christian revivals inspiring our nation, I can’t figure out why that is.
As a musician/songwriter, I no longer go to concerts, either. Same problem, different venue.
Me neither. I go see Casting Crowns if their near me and I go to Christian Christmas concert once a year.

I would say yes but my experience was many moons ago. While in the Coast Guard, one of my assignments was as an Aviation Safety Officer. A small airplane being flown on a Coast Guard Auxiliary mission crashed and killed 3 people. I was assigned to work with the NTSB Investigator as the Coast Guard representative.
The main airport in the area is the Central Wisconsin Airport south of Wausau in Mosinee, WI. That airport is very small and can’t land big planes. One mistakenly landed their years ago. They had to bring in a special crew to fly it out after removing much of the interior to lower the weight to get it out of there. I ran the hydro plant on Lake Wausau in the 70’s and 80’s.
Tiffany has been the House Rep in that area following our Sec. Of Transportation Sean Duffy. He was from Hayward WI which is kind of opposite of Mercer to the west of the state. Before that it was Dave Obey, a Democrat. Wisconsin is pretty conservative. The cities of Milwaukee, Madison,Eau Claire and Green Bay are liberal. They were all involved in the Zuck Bucks 2020 election cheating. He has been popular in his district, and the option is Crowley from Milwaukee who has overseen the decline of the city.
Tiffany managed the petroleum division of High Plains Cooperative in Plainview, Minnesota, before moving to Minocqua, Wisconsin, to manage Zenker Oil Company’s petroleum distribution in 1988. You should have passed through Minocqua Woodruff on HWY 51 on your way to Mercer. Tiffany was also the Dam tender on the Willow flowage a popular fishing and vacation spot. So he is well known.
Wisconsin was on it’s way to being solidly red until Scott Walker was governor.

My neighbor has been clearing and chipping brush then spreading it out a bit. In the evening a small herd of deer merrily jump and frolic there, the adults as well as the youngsters. The owners so enjoy watching every evening.

Wisconsin is a great example of a state that is very “win-able” for the GOP, if the elections weren’t so openly crooked. *Human beings possess rights that precede government. Government does not grant those rights; legitimate government exists to protect them. Political power comes from the governed, is constrained by law, and no person or faction is supposed to stand above those restraints.
I can’t help but sense the rise of authoritarian facists, who call others what they themselves are, is in response to an unbalanced system.
Having power, is not the right to retain it. The true patriots are in a historic spot to secure the foundations of the US Government. It seems an unbalanced pursuit of these goals, leads to the Authoritarian regimes that have dominated history.
The American experiment isn’t fundamentally about ensuring the good guys control the lever. It’s about building a system in which nobody can safely be trusted with an unlimited lever.

“A $50 million federal research initiative examining the potential causes of autism is sidestepping any examination of a possible vaccine-autism link and is instead funding research by establishment scientists who have denied such a link, a new letter to National Institutes of Health (NIH) Director Jay Bhattacharya alleges.
The NIH announced the $50 million Autism Data Science Initiative (ADSI) last year. In his letter, Children’s Health Defense (CHD) Chief Scientific Officer Brian Hooker wrote that three projects funded by the initiative are led by scientists who “built their careers on explicit, public denial that vaccines could play any role in autism etiology.”
Hooker wrote that his review of the ADSI portfolio turned up no studies examining “vaccines or vaccine components.” The ADSI appears designed to come to a predetermined conclusion that vaccines are not linked to autism, Hooker alleged.
The NIH-funded research instead largely focuses on connecting autism to a range of genetic and environmental causes while ignoring a possible link to vaccines, Hooker said.
In an assessment accompanying his letter, Hooker called the ADSI, as currently structured, “not a search for the truth” but, instead, a “validation engine” for mainstream autism narratives.”

Dr. Hooker is correct. It is just another waste of money by an industry that owns the NIH already. The NIH cannot afford to find Autism or the other chronic diseases these shots cause in its studies.
