The only people who deny financial corruption in Ukraine are those who benefit from it. That group includes U.S. politicians who gleefully send billions of taxpayer funds into the country of Ukraine while capturing returns in the process.
U.S. advisors and consultants, along with private sector contractors and multinational corporations like Blackrock, are all beneficiaries of the vast sums of money being dumped into Ukraine. We all know this. So, on one hand it is simple to see why the Ukraine government officials would use the same opportunity to enrich themselves
After all, U.S. taxpayers are not only buying bombs, missiles and bullets with the money sent to Ukraine, we are also paying the salaries and pensions of the same government officials who are skimming the proceeds. The corruption is everywhere, and every entity is participating in the graft, in one form or another.
Zelenskyy’s wife goes shopping in Paris during the war. Where exactly do politicians think she is getting the money to spend on glitzy holiday vacations? Everybody knows exactly what is going on. The glaringly obvious theft is a large part of the contention the American people have with this insufferable effort to fund Ukraine.
During a lengthy Time Magazine article, one of the close and key advisors to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy admitted that the corrupt stealing of US funds is widespread. In addition to the theft, the overall tone of the Time Magazine article paints the war effort in Ukraine, what we have always called ‘World War Reddit’ for its mostly theatrical value, as a lost cause. This is not surprising; however, for Time Mag to make such an admission, that does indicate a narrative shift in the overall effort.
TIME – […] Since the start of the invasion, Ukraine has refused to release official counts of dead and wounded. But according to U.S. and European estimates, the toll has long surpassed 100,000 on each side of the war. It has eroded the ranks of Ukraine’s armed forces so badly that draft offices have been forced to call up ever older personnel, raising the average age of a soldier in Ukraine to around 43 years. “They’re grown men now, and they aren’t that healthy to begin with,” says the close aide to Zelensky. “This is Ukraine. Not Scandinavia.”
[…] As conscription efforts have intensified around the country, stories are spreading on social media of draft officers pulling men off trains and buses and sending them to the front. Those with means sometimes bribe their way out of service, often by paying for a medical exemption. Such episodes of corruption within the recruitment system became so widespread by the end of the summer that on Aug. 11 Zelensky fired the heads of the draft offices in every region of the country.
The decision was intended to signal his commitment to fighting graft. But the move backfired, according to the senior military officer, as recruitment nearly ground to a halt without leadership. The fired officials also proved difficult to replace, in part because the reputation of the draft offices had been tainted. “Who wants that job?” the officer asks. “It’s like putting a sign on your back that says: corrupt.”
[…] Amid all the pressure to root out corruption, I assumed, perhaps naively, that officials in Ukraine would think twice before taking a bribe or pocketing state funds. But when I made this point to a top presidential adviser in early October, he asked me to turn off my audio recorder so he could speak more freely. “Simon, you’re mistaken,” he says. “People are stealing like there’s no tomorrow.”
Even the firing of the Defense Minister did not make officials “feel any fear,” he adds, because the purge took too long to materialize. The President was warned in February that corruption had grown rife inside the ministry, but he dithered for more than six months, giving his allies multiple chances to deal with the problems quietly or explain them away. By the time he acted ahead of his U.S. visit, “it was too late,” says another senior presidential adviser. Ukraine’s Western allies were already aware of the scandal by then. Soldiers at the front had begun making off-color jokes about “Reznikov’s eggs,” a new metaphor for corruption. “The reputational damage was done,” says the adviser. (more)
Time Magazine, a far-left ideological ally of the Biden regime, is publishing this at the same time that Congress is debating another request for billions more dollars in Ukraine aid. The timing here would indicate a substantive shift in position for the leftist media. Perhaps they are starting to realize, the bloom is off the ruse.
World War Reddit, written, produced and directed by: Nuland, Blinken and Sullivan.
“The reputational damage was done.”
Is he joking? Isn’t Ukraine widely known as being the most corrupt country in Europe and
has been for decades? Which makes me wonder, why so much effort. blood & treasure wasted
on a criminal state?
My guess is Ukraine is the way station for drugs, human trafficing & money laundering for
alot of Europe. An important hub for global crime networks.
But the BCF needs their cut of the booty. (BCF is the biden crime family), and so do a bunch of the folks in Congress.
They are rats, rats eat their own.
Meanwhile Texas border is being opened with bulldozers.
Question, are we the great Satan?
Satan would not be this dumb.
so grateful for this story being out there,
because it takes my mind off being in Berlin while the Russians are crossing the Oder.
Don’t worry! The Russians are going to rescue you from the Neo-Bolsheviks.
Born in corruption, this DeepState is nothing but a high-order Chicago street gang, doing what they need to do, so they get rich beyond their wildest dreams at the youngest possible age. Death, killing, hurting others; no problem, lying, cheating, stealing; do that all the time. Traffic drugs, women, kids, and weapons; it pays well, so why not. Recruitment is easy; everybody wants money AND wants their loved ones safe and protected. Once in, they want their protected ones to stay protected. Ukraine was easy; they were corrupt before we got there, so getting in was so easy, even Joe Biden was able to do it. Our backs? The MSM and law firms want to get rich too, so they are anxious to join us. Judges and prosecutors; all aboard boys, there’s room for everybody. It took a lot, but we have some game going in Israel now. Had to pony up cash for both sides, as usual, but it finally worked. The folks are getting nervous how much we’re taking and spending right now, but we have a little surprise for them a little later. After that, they will be clamoring for us to spend double to keep them safe and that is what keeps us rich and richer. We keep their precious kids out of wars and we get rich doing it. Barry said it would work and it does indeed!
Many people in the Biden administration are Obama holdovers, and Obama brought in thousands of activists into the ranks of government service. Chicago is second to none in the raw use of corrupt power, they are mean when it comes to retribution, and Obama learned his politics in that environment.
So yea, the deep state is a high order Chicago street gang, Obama brought a bunch with him when he came into power, and they are still there. Going after Trump electors criminally, throwing people in solitary for trespass, suing Trump for manufactured charges, this is all Chicago style politics.
Chicago is also USA Communism Central.
(in the name of bono the atomic clown)
“…who gleefully send billions of taxpayer funds into the country of Ukraine while capturing returns in the process.” That would be Lindsey Graham, Pierre Dilecto, Turtle McConnell, et al, both parties, both Houses.
Mayberry, it ain’t.
Aukraine.
But according to U.S. and European estimates, the toll has long surpassed 100,000 on each side of the war.
However, according to Col Doug MacGregor, those he has contact with in the area speak of close to 500,000 deaths of Ukrainian soldiers and only a small fraction of this number of Russian troops. People in the US and EU would be horrified by the real numbers and question why they have squandered so much money in Ukraine rather than seeking a peace settlement twenty months ago. The mainstream media are complicit in fudging the numbers and contributing to the unnecessary deaths of many Ukrainians in the war.
Former Press Secretary Jen Psaki was asked the question about communicating with the Russians.
She curtly_answered that they are the enemy and we don’ t talk to our enemies.
So much for peace talks.
There is no doubt that this is Biden’s war. And secondarily NATO’s war. If Zelensky is still holding on in the face of insurmountable odds, it is because he is being told to do so. He was told by Boris Johnson to NOT sign the proffered peace agreement 18 months ago. In my opinion, every move Zelensky has made, has been scripted by Biden’s sycophants (Victoria Nuland et al). All the deaths since last spring are on Biden’s hands. And now some in the US Congress want to opt out. In other words, they will leave Zelensky hanging like a “hanging Chad”. They will leave the entire country in limbo. All that will be left will be the crooked oligarchs and their paymasters (Black Rock, Vanguard, State Street etc). And we the people get to continue paying for all of this seemingly forever.
A political mantra: ‘Every person for themselves’. Not so much survival of the fittest but survival of those with access to political power.
However, American politicians had raised their right hands to support and defend the Constitution of “We the People”, not elected or unelected bureaucrats. Instead, far too many political appointees are corrupt and self-dealing. They demonstrate their allegiance to themselves more than to “We the People”, troops and their families.
Given today’s political environment, there is no upside in any of them resigning (as another pre-ordained appointee is installed). You either stand with those with whom you serve or you don’t. Loyalty isn’t a situational convenience. It’s an imperative to serving.
The world is a brutal place full of selfish and dishonest charlatans, as we were seeing at this moment, and all we can do is ‘live our best lives’. Even if bureaucrats are giving away the countries [plural] so many had fought so hard to preserve, the best we can do is execute our mission….
Even if those bureaucrats are leaking false information to the press, dehumanizing us, as ‘domestic terrorists’, in preparation for a planned fall from grace.
We still have to execute our mission. We still had to take care of ourselves, our families, of one another…and resist the political sabotage in any way our skill sets allow.
Just what do you suppose is the percentage of the members of the House and Senate who, as General Flynn so aptly put it, “traveled overseas to sleep with children?” We would be horrified to know the truth…..
Was this war, destruction and death really all about covering up joebamas crimes, and who else?
Actually, Victoria Nuland let the cat out of the bag during her testimony to Congress a couple of years ago. This war is to hide the fact that the CIA and US Dept of State were illegally funding bio-weapons labs (on Russia’s doorstep by the way; remember Putin saying he was destroying the Nazi’s?), and the human trafficking business that is making them all wealthy.
The US federal government is an evil, wicked, corrupt cesspool. They have no conscious and care not for our lives, or the lives of any other humans.
We are no longer the good guys, our Leadership has corrupted the Nation.
Sorry to say, no one has thought of your country as being good guys for a long time, a very long time. Perhaps the reaping what you have sowed in many many countries is finally, but sadly wakening up the good citizens of the USA! It sure is a wake up call to see what the evil, corrupt politicians have done to so many countries, with its own hard working citizen’s money. They did not care then and don’t care now. God Bless the citizens of America.
people forget that Romney was involved in the move by monstersanto into GMO. That the agribusinesses want to control all that black Earth is one of the hidden factors.
BlackRock is into agri-business. And just about everything else under the sun. It’s all about money and money is the business of the DeepState and BlackRock.
Look at the US Congress – they, too, are stealing from us with both hands; and their kids, sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles are getting a cut, too.
Everyone is stealing except those of us who are still trying to live an honest life.
RICO indictments should be for the US players in Ukraine, not contesting an election in the US state of Georgia.
MoA – The War Is Lost – Zelenski Will Leave – The White House Has Failed
Time’s big new story is quite revealing:
‘Nobody Believes in Our Victory Like I Do.’ Inside Volodymyr Zelensky’s Struggle to Keep Ukraine in the Fight – Time – Oct. 30, 2023
That offensive has proceeded at an excruciating pace and with enormous losses, making it ever more difficult for Zelensky to convince partners that victory is around the corner. With the outbreak of war in Israel, even keeping the world’s attention on Ukraine has become a major challenge.
Quoting a soldier on the front of the counter-offensive, the Economist agrees:
“Left Handed”, an infantryman fighting at the front between Robotyne and Verbove, says Ukrainian losses have increased to alarming levels, in part due to the work of drones. The plains of Zaporizhia have turned their back on life, he says. “It’s hellish. Corpses, the smell of corpses, death, blood and fear. Not a whiff of life, just the stench of death.” Those in units such as his own had more chance of dying than surviving. “Seventy-thirty. Some don’t even see their first battle.”
Still, Zelenski is urging them on:
But his convictions haven’t changed. Despite the recent setbacks on the battlefield, he does not intend to give up fighting or to sue for any kind of peace. On the contrary, his belief in Ukraine’s ultimate victory over Russia has hardened into a form that worries some of his advisers. It is immovable, verging on the messianic. “He deludes himself,” one of his closest aides tells me in frustration. “We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.”
Zelensky’s stubbornness, some of his aides say, has hurt their team’s efforts to come up with a new strategy, a new message. As they have debated the future of the war, one issue has remained taboo: the possibility of negotiating a peace deal with the Russians. Judging by recent surveys, most Ukrainians would reject such a move, especially if it entailed the loss of any occupied territory.
The war is lost. They know it. But they are unwilling to give up.

Z sounds like Hitler during the last days of WWii. When there are no more men left to fight is Z going to send women and children to the front lines.
It never amazes me. I’ve always thought that if I was in charge of all the $ our governments (several) take in, I would care for it and sparingly spend it knowing the millions that toil to bring it in. Our Pols get so used to it they think it’s theirs.
And whose money are they stealing? You provide the answer.
The feel good story of the year.
Have fun serfs.
Tenpercentsky says what?
Zelensky’s wife on a Paris shopping spree spending our money… I’m not the least bit surprised, but seeing it in writing, well, Godd—t!
To paraphrase Stallone, “If there was ever a guy that needed a crack in the jaw, it’s Zalensky!”
Starting with the Comedian … like Bernie … he wants another mansion. !!!
Ukraine is located in what was formerly known as Khazaria, or The Khazarian Region. Think the Russian people might have a bone to pick with the Khazarian Mafia, cause apparently those that brought about The Russian Revolution have always been based out of modern-day Ukraine. They never left.
During WWII, there was a Nazi party headquarters in Western Ukraine. Those Nazi’s secured immunity for the crimes against humanity they were carrying out, and were never held accountable at the Nuremburg Trials. So, while the rest of the world were led to believe the Nazi’s were eradicated, Western Ukraine has been serving as a Nazi safe haven and sanctuary where they have been flourishing for nearly 75 years now. They never left.
Notice, these aren’t just some neo-Nazi wannabe Antifa half-wits… were are talking the real McCcoy. Hardcore genuine Nazi OG’s that OUR congress is funding with our tax dollars, and then trying to justify it by saying, “it’s just a few thousand, and it’s not like they are running the country”.
Really, just a few thousand Nazi’s? How many Nazi’s does it take for it to NOT be ok to fund them, arm them, set up dozens of biolabs with deadly pathogens with zero international oversight, and in direct violation of international law? How many… ?
Zelensky’s longtime
handlerassociate, Kolomoysky, has been a prominate and fervent member of one of those Nazi factions, forever. As are most of those in key positions of power all throughout Ukraine’s government, so yes… yes they are running the dam country. Nazi’s decide they are going to do something, who’s going to tell them, “No”?Anyone… anyone… yeah, that’s what I thought. I rest my case.
I miss the good old day of the Mafia.
The Mafia, they had some rules, some respect, some limits…
And what happens in Ukraine
when one of Zelensky BFFs gets
accused of corruption?
Charges? Trial?…….
😁 Nope
Just give him a new location
to skim money from 💁🤷♀️
One thing for sure….haven’t seen
any reporting about a trial.
Why is Ukraine’s Defense Minster Oleksiy Reznikov Being Replaced?
☝️☝️
The Times article is great read.
Read it at least twice…then the
contradictions start appearing.
example….
Casualty numbers, recruitment problems,
age of troops now.
🤔🤔🤔🤔😂😂
Unfortunately for Ukraine as a state, there is no tomorrow. Neither is there for government officials when Russia takes over. So stealing is a safeguard to get out of the country and live a life of leisure and luxury in some other country hostile to Russia. Also stealing has been well known and widely accepted in the Ukraine territory for centuries.
Thing is…..
Russia has expressed
repeatedly it has no intent
on “taking over “ Ukraine.
Just the areas East of Dnripo
river (Donbas) which Zelensky
and his Nahzi were committing
genocide on the Russian speaking
people💁🤷♀️
That is why Zelensky and
his claims of Russia expanding
to other countries are
so ridiculous 😂🤣
If only we had something like a House Of Representatives in Congress that could control where all of our tax money goes…you know, like, maybe with budget or something
Discrediting our allies with charges of corruption is an old leftist media trope. When I was a kid, I rarely heard the words “South Vietnamese government” without the word “corrupt” in the same sentence. Ditto Chiang Kai-Shek’s regime in China in the 1940’s.
Up until now, Ukraine has largely avoided the same treatment, though that seems to be coming to an end. Why? I think it’s part of the campaign we’ve seen to push Slow Joe off the stage. By discrediting Joe’s war, perhaps he can be persuaded to quit. Hey, it worked when they had to get rid of LBJ.
Ukraine has always had the
reputation for being corrupt.
Nothing new.
It was Hunters and Joes
favorite money laundering
machine even before the
conflict.💁🤷♀️💁 And they
are not the only ones who
have been using the laundromat 😂
It is just that Corrupt Mainstream
media is finally starting to report
on it.
And that they are is a “tell”….
Well duh! But let’s send even more money to the zelensky scam.
This article is largely wrong.
“Zelenskyy’s wife goes shopping in Paris during the war”.
This didn’t happen. Its been reported several times in various forms, but they always track back to twitter rumors from various hoax sites.
As for the Time article, I don’t know why they keep letting Simon Schuster write about this war. Most of his stories have big question marks or have turned out to be completely wrong:
He predicted Russia wouldn’t intervent in Ukraine (Time, February 25, 2014 “No, Russia will not intervene in Ukraine”). Two days later they invaded Crimea and later the Donbass.
Then he said “Many Ukrainians Want Russia to invade” (Time, March 1, 2014 “Many Ukrainians Want Russia to Invade”) That has aged poorly.
Then he said arming Ukraine would only make matters worse (Time, Sept 3, 2014 “Why Arming Ukraine Would Only Make Matters Worse”). His rationale was that this would result in a Russian invasion of Ukraine, that it would provoke that response. Well, they invaded anyways.
Then he said on February 11, 2022 that “his understanding of Russia – my 15 years of reporting on Russia and Ukraine – has been so at odds with what the U.S. government says about Russia and Ukraine. I hope I’m right, and they’re wrong.” He was referring to US reports that said Putin was about to invade Ukraine. Putin invaded Ukraine 13 days later.
Then there is the internal problems in the article. Its all sourced to one anonymous source. Even if the source really does work in government and advises Zelenskyy, he may have alterior motives for putting this story out there. Maybe he’s being paid by Russia, or maybe the source is a complete fraud. But we have no capability of evaluating it because the source is anonymous. How many crazy stories about trump have now been proven absolutely false and were based on one anonymous source? Dozens.
Look, Ukraine is a fairly corrupt country, but the corruption problem was improving. It moved up about 15 spots on the global index for corruption (becoming less corrupt) from 2014 to 2023. Its not like quitting smoking, you can’t just instantly stop, because there is a cultural aspect to it that needs to be altered over time.
Some people in the government are still corrupt. The previous defence minister was ousted over rumors he sole sourced a winter jacket contract and got a kickback for doing so. Never proven, but the allegation was enough to get him fired. Good, that’s what a government should do to corrupt officials.
BUT… and this is key, most of the military aid is getting to the front. I’ve seen videos of it in use, and pretty much all the major equipment has. Its not like you can sell Leopard 2 tanks to terrorists.
I do think the war is somewhat stalemated at the moment, but it won’t stay that way. Russia’s forces have been seriously degraded. They have men but lack ammo, equipment and vehicles. More importantly, they are missing almost their entire generation of middle leadership. Modern militaries run on Masterchiefs, chiefs, sergeants, lieutenants, captains, etc… The Russian military’s is horrendously carved out right now.
If Ukraine can continue to sufficiently degrade the Russian forces, it doesn’t matter how many defences they have installed. If there’s no one to man them with any ability.
I’ll give odds, that Ukraine has generated more BILLIONAIRES, sense the war began. then any place ever…
Ukraine entering the Anger Management phase for the left. Happened already for the right.
As the Political World Turns – create drama, get money to fix it, funnel it back, anger manage to extradite until next income stream comes along.
