I find the rhetoric about the normalization of bombing innocent civilians by some folks on here a bit disturbing, and certainly does not contribute to a solution to the situation.

Consider that some Palestinians are terrorists but not all terrorists are Palestinians.

It is an ugly situation. The Israelis in fact have a supremicist (beyond the actual facts) colonizing mentality and a lot of police state bad habits that are not compatible with America. Let us start with a brief history lesson. Despite what the media has been preaching for almost 60 years, there is no historical Palestinian state or people. Over 4,000 years ago, there were small tribes living in Canaan, such as Moabites, Amalekites, etc. There was no Palestine of people or land. I think most of us would say we agree, however the Palestinian people elected HAMAS to represent them, as such we must accept things for what they are. If I assume everyone is a terrorist I can proceed accordingly, to do otherwise is foolish.

If one baby got beheaded, that was one too many. If one woman got raped, it was one woman too many. If an elderly person was shot, it was one too many. War ends lives of the innocent as well as the guilty but this wasn’t war. This was an attack on citizens for the simply act of slaughter. Even in war, nations try to keep the innocent from dying.
