RFK Jr. recently spoke of internal polling showing that his third-party independent run would pull more votes from Trump than Joe Biden. Many people refused to believe the statement and demanded to see the polling. Well, here it is:
You will notice the Joe Biden percentage of voters (38%) doesn’t change when Robert Kennedy Jr. is added to the equation as a third-party independent candidate. However, the Trump support drops from 40% to 38%, essentially wiping out the lead that President Trump would hold in a general election over Joe Biden.
Given the intellectually honest assessment that RFK Jr., as an independent run, could never win the general election, it may annoy some people to accept his decision to run as an independent only carries one motive – to reduce the Trump vote. However, as much as you may not want to accept that reality, the data is clear – and it makes sense.
Many right-leaning or politically homeless Trump voters have spent a great deal of time celebrating the positions of RFK Jr. and projecting a positive opinion toward him. After thinking positively about him for so long, having to accept that RFK Jr. may not be as decent, honorable and/or altruistic in his intentions can be a painful admission. I get it; but the reality of the situation doesn’t change.
At CTH we accept things as they are, not as we would wish them to be. Cognitive dissonance is not appreciated here, and the reality is that RFK Jr. has a large following of supporters within the MAGA-hood. He has been talked-up for almost a year.
RFK Jr is one of the most popular people on Rumble, and all of the content containing him is very well viewed and received. It factually makes sense that some of Trump’s support would transfer to RFK Jr. given the nature of the political climate in the United States. I’m sure that once Trump’s team review their own independent data, we will likely see a shift in tone from Trump toward RFK Jr.
Here’s the bitter pill to swallow. RFK Jr. has already admitted that if he changes from Dem to Indy, he will hurt Trump more than Biden. So, if RFK Jr. does actually change from Dem to Indy, his intention is to pull from Trump’s support and assist Biden. That’s the reality of the situation.
The truth of the thing doesn’t care about how difficult it is for you to accept the thing. Nor do I.
I accept that RFK Jr. is going to try and support Joe Biden by pulling votes away from Donald Trump. After all, he is a Kennedy.
RFK Jr. is not an ally regardless of how many invested voices continue to claim he is or remain unwilling to reverse course.
We do not have national elections. And besides, why would anyone believe a pollster. He is a hired gun to produce the result his client wants to release.
If he has enough support, he also gets on the stage for a three person Presidential debate, where he can help Biden the most. This is the bad news. The worse news is that the Dem candidate is most likely to be Gavin Newsom. This would be a 3 against one situation for Trump because the so called moderator will also be in Newsom’s camp. I think the situation will become chaotic when the GOPe makes their own move to try to save themselves.
We have to get more of our neighbors committed to vote for Trump, no matter what.We have to be working for our guy every day, even if it means arguing politics with our own relatives. The future of our families and our Republic will be in our hands. If we fail, we get full blown Totalitarian government. Polls don’t mean anything if they are even reasonably close.
The States could save us, but they have almost all thrown in the towel and allowed the Feds to usurp their Constitutional powers to do so. I will have lived to see the unthinkable happen. A pathetic civil war, where a small minority will not accept the situation and cannot change it.
I’m concerned about the rumor that dark-money type operatives are deliberately goosing the polls to exaggerate Trump’s poll numbers, so that he becomes the Republican candidate. Supposedly, the real numbers show that Trump is actually quite beatable. IOW, a psyop.
Now add RFK pulling more support from Trump and you have Democrat victory in 2024.

Oh sheesh. There has NEVER been a candidate with more grass roots support. Despite getting zero publicity from news media for his rallies, thousands show up every week all over the country.
Most people who appreciate Trumps success as a president don’t go to Trump rallies. They are busy with life. That so many do is a true phenomenon.
We can not assume we outnumber ALL of our opponents. We have to work to make that happen. Talk to every fence sitter you find. Explain what is going on. Show how it is exactly the same situation as existed in 1917 Russia. The Bolsheviks were in the middle of their revolution before most Russians could accept that fact. Just like it is now in the USA.
We are the majority, but our goal is not the extinction of our political opponents. Until we understand that, we are destined to become their victims. The wokesters will never know when it is too late to ever save themselves so they will be victims, too. It does not matter who the Dems nominate because they are no longer in control of their own Party. RFK Jr. will be removed shortly after he has helped the Dem candidate win the election, regardless of what his family name is.

I trust Sundance’s assessments of most everything, however I can’t get past my long held assertion that to paraphrase John Nance Garner’s opinion of the Vice Presidency Polls are not worth a bucket of warm spit. As Rush Limbaugh said,” Polls try to shape public opinion rather than reflect it”.

I noticed you ignored the other poll that shows Trump gaining increasing by 2 points with RFK on the ballot.
First, I don’t believe polls. Sundance has shown us that truth previously. Second, true trump supporters aren’t going to be voting for RFK; yes, he’ll get never trumpers and others that wouldn’t vote for trump in any circumstances. So, instead of sitting out an election, they’ll vote for RFK. Third, people understand “wasting” their vote on an unsuccessful candidate. They do it as a protest vote. My question is, who has more to protest—trump voters, who are already a protest vote against the GOPe and uniparty? Or the old Kennedy democrats, some who have already crossed over to Trump—which will vote for trump—or the others who, while being upset and are seeing what’s going on with the economy, crime, border, corruption, etc and can’t stomach voting for trump, but will vote for RFK. True MAGA voters aren’t going to waste their vote. I’m guessing there’s a lot of voters who get offended by what trump tweets, but like his accomplishments will hold their noses and vote trump. Last, people see what’s happening with Biden and Will protest vote against him. And if he’s eliminated from the race, and it’s Gavin, that’s the wildcard. I believe people will see the nonsense In California, not like the games being played (pulling Biden) and having another white male top of the ticket. Could Trump offer RFK a Health and Human Services or CDC appointment and give him control of vaccine decisions and development and some measure of authority over the medical establishment including the ability to recommend a draft of health law that addresses the issues he is most concerned with?
Would RFK take it? Would all of you support that decision. I do not trust RFK as much I trust Trump. But RFK is right about the vaccines. Maybe its time for Trump to finally recognize that? If it gets close to the election I think Trump needs to offer him a significant health associated administrative position to resolve the issue? Is that legal? I know that Dems and Rats do it every election cycle but thats because they control the hand of justice. Would Trump be allowed?
