It’s pretty rare for me to disagree with the thoughtful and intelligent predictions of Sundance, but on this issue I see it differently. I don’t doubt this to be another attempt to “Stop Trump”, but like the others, other than cheating in the election, I believe it will fail. I think it far more likely that kennedy takes votes from the dem nominee (not biden) and very few from Trump. Kennedy will get the disaffected democrats, the bernie voters, the never trumpers, none of which are going to vote for Trump anyway. Trump will give up some of the mushy middle independent idiots, but I think very few.
Just my opinion. There is a clear understanding by everyone not a left wing democrat kook that the economy is being damaged by the biden cabal and the cure is Trump. I hear it everywhere.

Nor have I stated Sundance said that. He does think that Kennedy will take more votes from Trump than the dem nominee, which is what I disagree with. Of course part of that depends on who the dem nominee actually is. That may be why Sundance will be right and I will be wrong.
I stated the attempt will fail which is not the same as saying Sundance said it would succeed, but perhaps the wording could be better.

Having said that, I can’t see any who voted for Trump i.e. MAGA going from the right to the far left, especially after the last three disastrous years. That ideological leap seems a bridge too far.
I think it will depend on how RFK2 designs his campaigns. If he pushes the Climate Change Hoax, plastic ban, banning assault rifles and pushing abortion, Affirmative Action and aid for Israel, Ukraine etc he will take votes from the Democrats.

In my opinion he would have folded like a chair.
