Spurred from several recent conversations, it becomes entirely necessary for this specific audience to understand a reality that is never discussed.
If you are reading this, wherever you are reading this, by self-association you are in a select group of high information people with a much larger understanding of the issues than your network. That means you know, comprehend, understand and have a level of insight and discernment that is far above average. Now, let me be brutally honest.
Factually speaking, all of the people within the mechanisms of DC, the people you associate with being key allies to fight back against the visible corruption, the people you assign hope toward, are not as smart as you.
Re-read that as needed.
One of the biggest shifts of thinking needed, in order to change our dynamic to the abusive relationship with government, is to realize these people you consider important are just not that smart. They are not wiser; they are not more strategic; they are not as well versed in the details at the heart of the crisis; they are not as well informed; they do not have special access to information that makes them more capable; they do not understand the issues better than you.
Again, RE-READ that with new eyes to evaluate and understand the challenge.
It doesn’t matter what position they hold, or what access they have, or what groups, interests, networks or information resources are at their disposal. You know more than them, and you understand the material at a much higher level of comprehension than they do. It does not matter what their rank or importance is, YOU know more. Once you realize this, then you begin to change how you look at the challenge and at their functional capability within it.
The informational context you assign to them does not exist. The things you think they know, they don’t. The very specific information you believe they are aware of, does not exist in their mind. The people in Washington DC, those allies who you think might have the skills to fix issues, have no concept of what material you are aware of. You are light years ahead of them in the scale of information you understand, and the context it means.
I am not being hyperbolic.
Here’s the kicker…. They think they are more aware than you.
The system around them reinforces a belief that they hold some level of knowledge that you do not have. As a result, when they engage with you, they talk down to you, or talk in a manner of unintentional intellectual condescension that stems from a place where they cannot fathom your level of knowledge.
If you have the opportunity to talk to them, I mean really get beyond the surface level stuff and dig into the weeds (even the shallow weeds), suddenly they start to get a strange look on their face – that becomes fear – as your knowledge starts to destabilize their prior view of you.
Let me be very clear and precise. It doesn’t matter who they are, or what title they hold; the same reality of material fact that I am describing applies to all of them – at every level.
If you think of a top apex-level person, currently or formerly inside government, that aligns with the principles of freedom and liberty – and has a keen awareness of the issues and subject matter that has created our current crisis dynamic, I have likely spoken to them. Those who fit that description, and may even be reading this right now, will tell you in a moment of brutal honesty, I am correct.
The people you think can fix this stuff have no idea how much you know. Additionally, it becomes destabilizing and unnerving for them to accept your level of information and understanding.
Another key and important element, beyond the knowledge, intellect, wisdom and discernment level… YOU care more about it than they do. The stuff that you know, the stuff that you yearn for them to address and fix, is more important to you than it is to them.
Why am I telling you this?
Because we all need to change your reference points when communicating with them. We need to confront their condescension early in our contact. We need to be deliberate, direct, and brutally honest in our delivery.
When we write to them, articulate the arguments. When we talk to them, pull them into the weeds of the issues and force them to see that our grasp of the topic far exceeds their ability to bullshit their way around the issue.
Being courteous, respectful and considerate for their role, does not mean you have to dumb yourself down or consider yourself subservient to their view.
I guarantee you two things. First, that you know the material better than they do. Second, I absolutely guarantee that you care more than they do. What that latter element says about the challenge is for another discussion, but these key points need to be emphasized.
That’s it.
Love to all,
~ Sundance

JMO.
There is a term for that condition …… Dunning-Krueger.
“People have a tendency to think they’re smarter than they are, that they’re more competent than they are…..that is called Dunning-Krueger.”
The Dunning-Krueger effect is employed on a daily basis by PsyOps manipulators ……
Is that not the Peter principle? Someone will rise to their highest level of incompetence.
The average elected official was (in all likelihood) the nerd who got bullied and was siting with likeminded individuals in the cafeteria…..and he or she vowed that one day, they’d have the power to make the cool kids do what THEY told them to do.
If you work from that picture in your mind, you’ll see that Sundance is absolutely correct; and the fact is that they could care less about our issues because to them, it’s the power that they crave to possess and hold over you.
When I see a picture of Upchuck Schumer, the only thing that pops into my mind is him whining, “Mom, the Italian kids stole my lunch money again.”
“The state — or, to make matters more concrete, the government — consists of a gang of men exactly like you and me. They have, taking one with another, no special talent for the business of government; they have only a talent for getting and holding office. Their principal device to that end is to search out groups who pant and pine for something they can’t get, and to promise to give it to them. Nine times out of ten that promise is worth nothing. The tenth time it is made good by looting ‘A’ to satisfy ‘B’. In other words, government is a broker in pillage, and every election is a sort of advanced auction on stolen goods.” – H.L. Mencken (1880 – 1956)
“I don’t believe in elections or ‘democracy’ as means for determining who your boss is and who controls you. Elections have rarely been more than popularity contests at best, and more often, mob rule dressed in a coat and tie. As HL Mencken quipped, an election is just an advance auction on stolen goods. Now, more than ever, they’re just rubber stamps for political operators who are adept at using the media and other forms of influence to get the hoi polloi to robotically legitimize their rulers.
Manipulating public opinion has become a fine art using electronic media. It’s especially effective in getting the bottom half of society—let’s call them marginal citizens—who aren’t famous for researching issues or thinking critically, to vote one way or another. Voting can make sense if the voters are virtuous, independent thinkers, at least 21 years old, and property owners. Many today are none of these things. That’s why elections are meaningless shams, more now than ever. They do nothing but legitimize power junkies.” – Doug Casey
Love me some HL Mencken.
dang.
Like Hillary, although something tells me that these were the natural bullies.
Hey Chucky, I want that lunch money…now get the fugg outta here.
LOL
That was one of the things I picked up on VERY early as Muh Russia played out — just how many of these super high level, apex players in the deep state apparatus were actually the scrawniest, dweeby little pathetic weaklings.
I mean, these people like Bruce Ohr, Rosenstein, Weissssssmannnnnn (aka “The Beak”). I mean, every one of these tools used to get chocolate swirlies on the reg back in high school.
Even Comey, I bet he sucks at basketball.
Spot on. But I think that is only part of the group. Additional members went to the Ivy League and similar schools, most of whom inherited their money, and do the things they do, and think the way they think, because all of their peers do.
In addition to gubmint at all levels, big and multinational companies are filled with these kinds of people. They are dead from the neck up. The people that show up for work everyday, do the heavy lifting, and go to other places than the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyards, or Jackson Hole for vacation are the ones that keep companies running. If we all quit, these people would be totally helpless.
Sundance is totally correct. We are so much smarter and more capable.
I could not agree more!
I remember saying in 2020, it’s revenge of the nerds….bill gates, Fauci, all the politicians around the worlds.
I’m in Victoria, Australia. AKA longest, harshest, locked down city in the world. Our dictator, Daniel Andrews stepped down, there was a party on the steps of parliament, however, lock him up, complete geek, did an arts degree that took him twice the length it should, career politician. Arrogant but not intelligent.
And heads up, rumor is he will get a job in NY – he’s not known there so it makes sense.
I’ve said before many times that the people of New Zealand had to face several years of grueling fascist lockdowns, merely because Jacinda’s ghastly horse teeth made her less pretty than the other girls back in high school.
I’m pretty sure they couldn’t care less – they already care none at all, as they amply demonstrate;
one cannot care less-than- none.
“If you cannot say what you mean, Your Majesty, you will never mean what you say and a gentleman should always mean what he says.“
~ Reginald Flemming Johnson (Peter O’Toole)
in ‘The Last Emperor’, 1987 (a recurring theme of bullying & imprisonment – by less intelligent, less honest, & more devious people throughout the film)
Schumer is a CIA officer
More like Mossad!
Much is same way. I found a way to send out in an email to throw word for word his proclamations—like “our # l priority is to protec and defend Ukraine.” I puta clickable DC phone #for him in blue, told others what I said to him in a phone message and asked that if they disagreed with him to call and tell him why. Then I put in the message I left so they could speak their message!!! It was a huge success ! Very simple. And folks liked it and thanked me. It used to be ONE phone call meant their were 1100 who felt the same way but did t call. I worked for a short period of time in a senator‘a office. That is how I know that.
Another perfect example of this is Merrick Garland.
“The people you think can fix this stuff, have no idea how much you know.” With respect, Sundance, I believe they do know.
And it’s that very knowledge that scares the hell out of them. They’re left with one option…trying to control every facet of our lives, no matter what.
I suspect that they do know(but don’t know how many can see them for what they are) but so long as they can act like they’re on our side they’ll continue to think that we don’t know the score….just ask Mrs. Hannity…..he is nowhere near as popular as he used to be and that came about because many of us trust him about as far as we could throw him.
We listened to his tick tock enough to know he didn’t have a clue.
This reminds me of my grandmother who had a heart of gold. She was so endearing and trusting in people. That when she passed away she left a notebook of who she entrusted to work on her house and what job they performed. The house was a complete disaster. The shady work was always performed by people who were unemployed at the time. And the payouts were a lot more than it would have cost a professional contractor to do. In order for me to preserve the house and place it back into structural integrity, took me about 20 weekends to fix. This only showed me that the most capable person for the job can be the most incapable of completing anything. And again the payouts are the hard earned money you give because of grifters like this. This is DC and this is why I have slowly gotten rid of all the linked websites (breitbart, pj media, to list a few) to bring me information. I like to stay informed but the insanity has changed me. I’m back in my garden and garage working on projects. And that’s what’s getting me through this all. I only have CTH in my browser now and check it every now and then. This world is sick. Stay focused and keep your powder dry!
Its not that simple.
Its been observed:
Some in the subject group are low-IQ, low-literacy, uninformed / misinformed, to various degrees. The blanket propaganda and censorship has exploited and reinforced this to produce a majority that is completely programmed, and this mass effect is now itself self-reinforcing. (The Information Warfare operators have honed their craft to a very powerful weapon, we are living in the resulting surreal nightmare.)
Others in the subject group are smart and see what is happening, but they hide this for various reasons – mostly self-preservation, some Machiavellianism, perhaps some are part of “the cabal” themselves.
The genuine incompetencies which have grossly degraded most institutions by “affirmative action” (DEI), are now used as cover.
For example: The authorities who created the plandemic, suppressed safe alternative treatements e.g. FLCCC, and imposed the lockdown, mask, and genetic medical experimentation tyrannies are now building a narrative of “we did the best we could with what we knew at the time, but as more data comes out we see that we made mistakes, in some cases incompetencies increased by bureaucracy made things worse.” (Complete BS, by the way – the data was clear from the very beginning, early 202o, the alternative treatments were proven by mid-2020, and the shots were obviously very harmful by early 2021.)
This MO of hiding behind endemic incompetency and dysfunction is everywhere now.
So, again, its not that simple. And on the idea of influencing your legislative representatives with clear, sound, factual information: Yes, we should do this, but because of the above and corruption, it is apparently not doing much to help.
Because the bottom line is we are dealing with pure evil, not incompetence or ignorance. You can’t reason with evil or teach it anything. It abides in darkness and is blind.
I agree. That said….
It’s not hiding. It’s a long cultivated cultural norm to abdicate from responsibility and accountability (a lack of personal integrity if you prefer – which aligns more generally with the decline in “virtues” previous civilizations articulated as guides to “living the best life”. Virtues, btw, that philosophers and tragedians confess are hard to live up to by the very limitations of our human natures.).
I grew up with some of the players in the spotlight the last couple decades – from multiple professional areas, not just gov’t. Many are anything but low IQ, uniformed, poorly educated or stupid. On the flip side, it never surprises me how many sat on the shrink’s sofa for years or still struggle with drug and sex addictions. It’s amazing watching the machinery (as Sundance calls it) work at the upper reaches. The number of folks for whom Senator X personally calls DHS or some other agency/department to place into an SES or other senior spot fresh from some corporate job is not insignificant. More often than not, those people are there for a short span of time (say, enough to earn a pension – which is much shorter than for the ordinary civil service pogue). More importantly, they are often assigned to areas outside their competency – that’s where the real problem falls. In the military, we used to chuckle when assigned to academic types (on shore tours), especially Ivy League. Not because these were intellectually weak people or immoral deviants. Far from it. The frustration was getting these people to make a decision. This occurred, in part, to a lack of deep experience in the field (and the people) they were positioned to lead. Part of it just seemed “to fit the profile”.
Career civil service is a whole other world unto itself. It’s EEO/HR rules and bureaucracy are all set up to make it very difficult to shed the rocks or jettison the intentionally unproductive. I agree that expertise in the career types can be wanting. I agree that politics (in the “get ahead” sense) very often dominates behavior. However, lest anyone forget, the gov’t spends a lot of money on an army of private sector companies to do the hands on work, the planning – very often even the management. The problem space runs deeper.
My only admonition is to avoid the hubris inherent to one possible path opened by the subject of this article. It’s not knowing more, or being better informed or even “smarter” that matters most. It’s what you do with those advantages.
It all falls into “live your best life”. On this, I stand rock solid with Sundance.
Rogan nailed it! They are being Installed NOT Elected
I think the word he was looking for regarding Newsom is SNAKE.
The perfect expression for Newsom is: ”He’ ALL show!”
He looks like he’d sell exotic cars in Beverly Hills.
Sundance. Thank-you; also, your premise is borne out by their peers’ and sycophant’s absurd praise for their supposed talents, case in point: how Obama was praised as a competent orator when every one of his sentences was overstuffed with “umm, ummm, err, errr…” Worse, few of his praisers understood that profound speakers present their addresses from memory, or a pithy set of notes. Not off teleprompters.
I grimace at the grammatical shortcomings evident in the responses gestated by the flawed intellect of the bulk of elected/appointed officials; the lot of them who inadequately seek to justify their positions as policy makers. They are the lawless and clueless who make illogical laws then enforce them selectively, and hypothetically.
.
I saw a chyron yesterday which used ‘shotted’ as the past tense of shoot.
How does that even get printed with spellcheck?
Whom ever shotted that chyron should be shot.
Shouldn’t that be; ” Whomever shotted that chyron should be shooted”? <grins>
We are reverting back to the time of mass illiteracy. They don’t want people to read the Bible or U.S. Constitution.
Interesting take on things….and closer to the truth than not!
Journalism has been gutted of all aspects of integrity… beginning with education – which is why all our sectors of industry suffer from this same dearth of beneficial effectiveness.
The mis/dis/mal-education does integrate & form the worldview of some people 100% – fortunately, some take it on as their own way less.
Your compliment to all of us Treepers is encouraging, enlightening, revealing at so many levels and angles and insightful, that I cannot adequately express my delight, confidence enhancing, and gratitude for this disclosure and your valued opinion of us.
For possibly the first time EVER, I feel validation and worth over what I believe and have been studying for years and what I thought I would never feel concerning our common plight and efforts.
I haven’t considered ever engaging any of these despicable selfish, corrupt people due to my self realization of my personality. Because I knew in my heart that although I could challenge any of them credibly, I would inevitability lay into them personally at an inappropriate level. It would have been bad for all parties concerned.
Now, should the opportunity arise, I will consider engaging and do my best not to lose my temper and wear their butts out when I’m finished schooling them only because of what you just posted. And only because of that and you. I think your may helped me with my temperament and maybe that spill over into other areas of my life. Gratitude!
You uplifted me beyond beyond adequate description and shook off any deep simmered subconscious doubts I may have had about my beliefs and dissuaded any concerns of the futility of my efforts.
Thank you, Sundance, and God Bless You and the Treehouse!
“For possibly the first time EVER, I feel validation and worth over what I believe and have been studying for years and what I thought I would never feel concerning our common plight and efforts.”
Couldn’t have said it better myself….I feel less crazy now😏
this is a wonderful post, BK. you have helped me–mainly cuz I have the same personality wrinkle. working on my delivery!
Well said, Black Knight. To overcome the poisonous arsenic of leftism/collectivism many hours of thoughtful research and digging is required. In time one quickly knows when they are deceived. One thing you never, ever see from MSM are source documents.
Another sad fact about those politicians with even a fair grasp of our current condition is; their lack of grit. Courage is in short supply everywhere (perhaps me a little bit too if I am being totally honest.) We can no longer afford go along to get along.
Debbie Lesko is my current Congresswoman. While she has shown signs of having some fight in her, she is no Andy Biggs. Perhaps she believes it necessary cater to congressional leadership and keep some distance from the “radicals” to keep her committee seats.
I see her working hard doing traditional constituent representation where she helps veterans and others navigate the swamp. These are the things her office touts when I call about real pressing matters like budget reduction and rolling back governmental powers. We are so far past that old school representative model. We need leadership to fight our way out of this mess.
I don’t want to primary the Debbie Leskos out there without tremendous confidence in the alternative. There are so few good alternatives. We all still need to keep pressure on our reps, but it is Trump who sets and moves agendas. We need his leadership sooo bad.
Sundance, I agree with you completely. Here is my thought…I am not a DONOR… so I don’t matter to them. They are all whores, that’s all they know. They know how to whore themselves. The Biden and Obama familys are proof.
Having spent the better part of four decades in and around the Defense, Aerospace and National Security industry dealing with the ‘best and the brightest’ in the Pentagon and on Capitol Hill, I can say with certainty:
Fact Check: TRUE
Robert McNamara and his “whiz kids”, right?
….That chill you get when hearing ring of truth.☺️
Thank you Sundance – You and CTH are well loved!
So shocking, and a valuable insight into our advantage and leverage over them IF we will use it.
It’s why I love listening to NPR.
At first I thought they were simply pretending not to know, but then I realized – that often, they really don’t know.
I overheard a very left family member say to my elderly father:
“The Right listens to all the same information we do, and then comes to a completely different conclusion.” WRONG.
These Washington people are cunning and greedy, which is how they end up with their names on Airports.
(What are the odds that San Francisco Airport will be named – Diane Feinstein International Airport.
Like John McCain, and Harry Reid airports.)
They have amassed a fortress of power, and so to destabilize their confidence, we have assert our demand for accountability, and we can only effectively do that by getting into the weeds.
A common retort by said ‘family member’ is: “Where are you getting this stuff?”
and that’s why the phrase, “Do your own research” (DYOR) is seen as an alt-right disinformation tactic.
This is why Pres. Trump frightens them. He explains things about tariffs. He brings up ideas like making countries that use our troops, buy our products.
“Why aren’t we already doing that? ” we can ask our representatives, who will lie and say we are.
We can only hold them accountable if we have the truth at our fingertips.
Honestly, I think we aren’t more effective in part due to the “bystander effect”
We have assumed they DO know things, but just don’t care,
And that if they really didn’t know things, THAT SOMEONE ELSE is educating them.
Lean in.
When you actually think about it, you realize that anyone (politicians) who need consultants to tell them how to connect and what’s important to the people, isn’t smart at all! They’re told how to think, talk, vote, dress…
A five year old child knows most of this by instinct!
I came to these same conclusions some years ago… very sad state of affairs.
Likewise, when you have so called “journalists” who ask stupid questions, don’t push back (even when they previously reported on an issue with an opposite conclusion to that being proffered by the interviewee….)… just anger inducing!
Thank you, Sundance, for being the beacon in the storm!
The removal of God from the live of the former Christendom have been aggressively pursued for more than a century.
For a long time the steady process of dumbing-down the formation of each new generation has been going on unchallenged in the Western world.
The same steady movement to the progressive-socialist-communist side f the spectrum has been taking place everywhere as well.
It is not just the inner city student enable to do math or grammar. It is at every level of society.
The elected officials and its electorate all come from the same poisoned masses of almost illiterates products of the modern schools.
“…to realize these people you consider important are just not that smart.”
“Through this and other experiences I began to discern one of the elements of an education: get as near to the supposed masters and commanders as you can and see what stuff they are really made of. As I watched famous scholars and professors flounder here and there, I also, in my career as a speaker at the Oxford Union, had a chance to meet senior ministers and parliamentarians “up close” and dine with them before as well as drink with them afterward, and be amazed once again at how ignorant and sometimes plain stupid were the people who claimed to run the country. This was an essential stage of my formation and one for which I am hugely grateful.” – Christopher Hitchens
“A fool says in his heart there is no god.”
Hitchens was a fool.

.
One of the most glaring recent examples of being too stupid for your own good, is the judge’s ruling in NY wrt the Trump supposed ‘overvaluation’ of property.
To go back and now have to re-calculate what the Trump organization ‘over paid’ in property taxes due to over-valuation should be part of this idiot judge’s process, but to do so is to show the ‘state’ is obligated to refund, so no such intelligence will be revealed . . .
actually the value of a property for tax purposes has little correlation to the market value of the property and is not determined by the property owner, the locality assigns a “taxable” value which they then apply their “tax rate” to to come to an amount for the real estate taxes you pay … which is one thing the judge completely was/is ignorant of … he took the property value in the tax record of Mar Largo and claimed it was the market value …
This is so true. Inside the Beltway has no clue as to the world outside. They all echo stuff to each other. They are bobble headed nattering nabobs.
The average Washington automaton is indeed an intellectually shallow creature. Washington attracts these people like magnets for that very reason. The dumber they are they less they will challenge anything. This is the exact same phenomenon that is happening at the border. They are not interested in more democrat votes – they are past that. What they want is low information people who have been formed and defined by subservience and bondage. These new people will never challenge anyone. They will remain in the shadows or underground taking whatever they can get, doing whatever they are told, never rebelling against anyone.
There are some smart people in Washington but you NEVER see them. They studiously avoid the front lines. They are like demons in the dark shrinking violently at the least sliver of light shined in. They are wickedly evil and exercise their control through proxies. Those are the people we need to find and contain.
“There are some smart people in Washington but you NEVER see them.”
They being the ones writing the bills and manipulating the puppets whose official authority is foolishly “legitimized” with typically un- and misinformed votes.

This fits here:
From BioClandestine
Why is anyone honoring Feinstein?
She was one of the most corrupt politicians in America. She employed a Chinese spy for 20+ years. She served as Senator for 31 years, and what did she accomplish?
Thank her for her service? She served no one but herself and her donors.
Her net worth is $220 million. That she stole. From you. Via insider trading and money laundering. All the while she allowed California, and her District of San Francisco, to turn into a drug-infested 2SLGBTQIA+ homeless zombie apocalypse.
When we talk about “establishment politicians”, she’s at the top of the damn list. She’s been a Senator for 31 years, and under her watch, America has turned into a shithole. Not only did she let it happen, but her Left-wing policies made it a possibility. She played a significant role in destroying California and this nation with open border policies and woke insanity.
So spare me with all the “Rest in Peace”. She was one of the main reasons we are in the position we are in today. She destroyed America and I wish her no blessings in whatever afterlife she faces.
And before anyone says this is partisan, I feel the same way about McCain, and any other Deep State traitorous rat who bites the dust.
Some of y’all don’t hate establishment politicians enough, and it shows.
👍👍👍👍👍
You’re right. I don’t hate establishment politicians–or anyone else for that matter, and I refuse to do so. Hate doesn’t get you anywhere but miserable, so no thank you.
Two thoughts about Feinstein: I hope she had a come to Jesus experience before she died because eternity is a long, long, LONG time to be tormented, and vengeance belongs to the Lord.
Forever. There is no time in eternity Kudz
Time or no time, it still has a name: “eternity”!
There is no time, period. Meaning there is no measurement of eternity, get it right
To paraphrase Bette Davis (upon hearing of the death of her long – time rival, Joan Crawford), “My mother taught me to only speak good of the dead. Diane Feinstein is dead. Good.”
.
Nice. Sundance has nailed it.
.
explains: “lack of standing”
How much of this is the threat to the DC types to ‘not ask too many questions.’
Curiosity could kill the rats.
Call it the Sargent Schultz effect.
It’s not much more complicated than the primitive German guard.
I think we care more about the issues than the politicians do because the laws affect us more–much more–than they affect the politicians.
They have perfected the art of creating destructive laws for the peons, while they remain untouched! Two examples: Ovomitcare and jabs!
Most are hopelessly compromised as well, which lends to their not needing to know very much.
They just do as they are told…period.
For example – was this INTENTIONAL or ACCIDENTAL?
Breaking news – Many Christian pastors to be deported.
For faith leaders, the line historically has been short enough to get a green card before their temporary work visas expired, attorneys say.
That changed in March. The State Department announced that for nearly seven years it had been placing in the wrong line tens of thousands of applications for neglected or abused minors from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, and would now start adding them to the clergy queue. Since the mid-2010s, a surging number of youth from these countries have sought asylum after illegally crossing into the U.S.
This change means that only applications filed before January 2019 are currently being processed, moving forward the Central American minors by a few months but giving clergy with expiring visas, like Castillo, no option but to leave their U.S. congregations behind.

“They’re doing everything they’re supposed to be doing and all of a sudden, they’re totally steamrolled,” said Matthew Curtis, an immigration attorney in New York City whose clients, like an Israeli rabbi and a South African music minister, are running out of time. “It’s like a bombshell on the system.”
“Attorneys estimate so many people are now in the queue that the wait is at least a decade long, because only 10,000 of these green cards can be granted annually.”
Thanks for everything Sundance! Can’t express my gratitude. Appreciate the ticked-off eagle meme as well!
BTW, does your advice/comment include the low-level schmucks, ie, janitors and trash guys as well, or do they qualify as Deplorable?
Thanks again!
Thank you. You’re 100% correct. Most get an A+ in drama class but the rest if their grades are way below that mark.
This is absolutely correct. I have seen it throughout my life, whether interacting with local, state or federal elected officials. Virtually none of them understand any issue as well as an interested citizen. Details? Details, schemtails, they’ve got people for that, don’t you know? They assume they have the “big, big picture view,” and you’re just some dolt caught in the weeds, but as we’ve seen repeatedly, the details of EVERY significant issue are in the details, down in the weeds, and interested, activist citizens always know more about every aspect than do any of these elected dipwads. Also true is this: They’re not particularly smart or gifted people. All you have to do is watch them try to react to something unexpected. They don’t know jack, and they’re not particularly adept at figuring anything out on the fly. We elect the most useless people in most cases.
So true.
Re-read it again.
Thank you Sundance!
That is why liberals will cut off certain subjects in a conversation. They cannot go there. They have a suspicion but cannot go there.
This is very true, Sundance. I know a few local politicians (State Representatives, County Board Members, Village Board Members, Mayors, etc.). They live in a bubble. They only talk with each other, listen to each other. When I bring up issues and facts they are stunned! I was the first person ( of the inside/outside group) to say “Trump is going to win the whole thing” in 2015! They thought I was nuts. I was right, they were wrong.
I warned specific people that if they didn’t focus on specific issues in their campaign better, they would loose. Again, they thought I was nuts. They lost.
Their information is coming from the RNC via the State Committees. All they think about is money. Not the voters, not the issues, it’s money from wealthy individuals. That’s all they care about. I’ve seen it first hand.
So, who is coming up with all the evil that these not so smart, don’t care that much people are inflicting on us?
Who is blinding them to the evil they are wreaking? Convincing them that they are doing good?
Why do they all buy into the evil wreaking?
Why do they buy into their superiority and our inferiority?
Why don’t any of them notice all the evil in their wake?
I have been asking these things for decades. Ever since they started attacking Senator Moynihan for wanting to fix welfare. At some point, it becomes clear that the bad results are intended and fought for. And that evil is freely wielded to get their way.
Then you realize that ‘fixing’ problems loses voters. Making problems worse increases voters.
But you interject that nobody would fall for such blatant evil shenanigans. But we do. We just need a scapegoat to blame. And boy, you start to realize how good these people are at scapegoating innocents for the problems they create.
When it comes down to it, there is very intelligent and very malicious evil driving these things. At the best, the actors implementing this evil are blinding themselves to the evil they enact.
Telling them the truth holds a mirror in their face. Forces them to see themselves as part of the problem. Challenges their superiority.
Asking them to act on the truth puts them at severe risk for opposing the regime of evil. They know, because they have participated in demonizing those who know and care.
They also know because they know the smart evil people and they know that the efforts against them will be lead by these malicious, vindictive, smart people.
It is so much easier to pretend that you are good, even superior. And to pretend that those who see the truth are ignorant and ill informed. And to close your eyes as you vote for yet more evil.
It is my distinct impression that large numbers of clinical psychopaths have high IQs.
It is the clinical psychopaths who have risen to positions of power, influence and control of all our institutions.
The immoral psychopaths inevitably hold high regard for themselves and consider the rest of Humanity to be subpar.
Until and unless Humanity can quickly and assiduously identify all of these rich powerful psychopaths and keep them far away from the reins of power, there is little hope for the future
This is a serious issue, throughout government, throughout business, throughout military, etc.
Well put, Sundance. An excellent point that needs to be made.
Getting off into the weeds with them is important. I have found they really don’t know much so when I write explaining my issue to them is key: cast the net widely and connect the dots for them. Always, my fingers are crossed in hopes something permeates their soft skull. Nothing much in response comes from my state and local elected officials when using this approach, but I’m in CA, so there’s that.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Milley is departing from the highest-ranking military position in the country at midnight on Sept. 30 and will be replaced by Biden-appointed nominee Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr.
“We don’t take an oath to a king, or queen, or tyrant, or dictator,” Milley declared. “We don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator. We don’t take an oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution, and we take an oath to the idea that is America, and we’re willing to die to protect it.”

Charles Q. Brown is far, far worse than Milley. Hard to imagine, I know.
“They” are not stupid. They are simply incapable of absorbing every little detail from every source. They pay consultants because they don’t have the time or disposition to read through the fire hose of info being sprayed at them. Even if they did, how would they sort through it all?
I think every candidate or existing office holder needs to be asked this question.
“How and where do you get your news and information, and how do you evaluate that information for reliability in order to make decisions or take action on any particular issue?” There is no right or wrong answer but it gives us a perspective on how their brain works.
We know a lot about many sources and whether they contribute to informing us or just repeat stuff or whether they really dive in depth on issues. Maybe the best way to help our reps is to help them in some way to sort through the chaff.
Human nature shows us that most people don’t make decisions or change their minds because someone tells them something is so. Most people will make up their own minds when probing intelligent questions are asked that causes them to think, and come to a conclusion.
The best sales people listen and ask questions. Rarely do we buy something because someone says we should! I think Sundance is great at asking questions and being skeptical but some times it is too much for the average consumer.
Great post.
One of my biggest errors when I participate in pollical discourse is assuming that the person(s) I’m exchanging ideas with has the same level of understanding of the topic that I do. I have to do a better job of explaining myself to the point that I now assume that most people have no idea how the federal government works, the concept of federalism, have never read the constitution, etc.
Nor do they know that we have police dressed up like law enforcement ! All pensions and salaries, even from different Fed agencies are dressed up like the real McCoy! They are paid and hired not by the republic but a corporation listed on Dun&Brad. This is ALL unlawful! The gov from fed to state to town, judges, ALL incorporated!!!!
True , I live in a fairly sophisticated Suburban congressional district and when I went to an Obamacare 2010 (controversial time) forum with our recently elected Dem . Congressman ( they had finally succeeded in ousting the long time Rep. incumbent after several tries ) – I was shocked –
The first 5 or 6 people with questions were plants ( he even called on them by their first names for Pete’s sakes! ). and the read off questions were like from 2nd graders and he answered them to the room (more than 1/2 of whom were first timers like me who were forced to stand in the back in the too small room -duh ) like he was talking to a bunch of 3rd graders ( He of course was one of Pelosi’s poodles who never failed her ) — Anyway …
My wife is from France … she is a well educated (university and MBA) and works as a CFO … all during the pandemic when I pointed out that the governments own data in France seemed to say Covid wasn’t really dangerous to most people (i.e. young and or healthy) she kept insisting that “I’m sure they just don’t want to panic everyone by showing just how bad it is” … she, and many in France, even among the well educated simply ASSUME the leaders have special insight or hidden data … that’s the way they are conditioned in France … which is how a teacher screwer can rise to the Presidency … they simply do not question authority … they are ruled by ignorant experts …
That is interesting – I never heard that one before – they were HIDING the numbers to avoid an even worse panic 🙀? – OK , sorry don’t want to be critical , but regardless of education , and more likely in spite of it , women , especially those in the health and age categories LEAST likely to DIE from Covid , were the MOST terrified and frightened by it . I think that is because They never had to face any major fear or existential threat in their lives up to that time …opinion of armchair psychologist based on observation and experienced encounters ……
And how is she doing on the booster schedule btw …
I think that this Covid fear compared somewhat to the fear I saw in NYC after 9/11 – I commuted to NYC and worked mid- town then – and I had NYC work colleagues who refused to ride the Subway for months thereafter ( of course I wouldn’t today myself for other reasons ) , refused to fly and were petrified if they saw a discarded brown bag (explosive ?‼️) on a commuter train seat …. Hence the Mask culture etc ( psychological protection ) …
When they weren’t hiding them, they were manipulating them to further the panic. How many folk, worldwide, really died *from* covid? We’ll never know; but it is at least one tenth of the reported number and may be far less than that, even as little as 1%. After all, normal influenza doesn’t directly kill that many. Far more die from complications, either maltreatment by the system or from natural complications.
Don’t know if this is the correct spit to post it, but it’s informative.

All spelled out in Sharyl Attkisson’s “Stonewalled”
I know for a fact I could run intellectual circles around my Governor, my Senators and 95% of the rest of Congress easy, say nothing of the entrenched bureaucrats or the “Executives”. That only pisses me off more because we have half wits telling us what time it is, they just excelled at the throat cutting game of politics and chose to devote their lives to being a liar in order to have power over others.
And no one likes that to happen to them. Our reps need to be approached in a way they see a benefit from listening and helping us with the issue. This only works with someone who has an open mind. Anyone with entrenched ideas only really listens to those with the same ideas.
For example:
Senator, If I could have a bit of your time to lay out an issue I care about and have devoted much time to learning, I would appreciate that opportunity. And Senator, if after discussing you see my point, you could realize a benefit from being well informed about this issue in the next election.
Who, what, where, when, how, and why????? Are you aware…. Do you realize….. In your experience……. Does that make sense…
Thank you for your time and I see now that our discussion has brought you some new insights into my passion for this subject. I firmly believe that with further thought and action on your part, many people will respond positively to what we discussed. If you are inclined to ignore this subject, I don’t know how the voters will react.
This hits them with an unknown at the end that may just cause them to look into it, and at the beginning asking for their permission gives you control.
When you ask a question it works better than just telling them something like:
Senator, 2+2=4
versus
Senator, are you aware 2+2=4? or Senator, I’m sure you know 2+2=4. oh, you didn’t know?
Takes practice but it is effective for the best salespeople out there.
I like it. I always found that having well-to-do clients think that my idea was their idea when trying to sell them on home improvements worked most of the time. Problems is who can gain an audience with these jackwagons and get them to quit pretending long enough to actually hear what we have to say? They are always playing a role when they are among us Regulars/Normals. They can’t wait for the staffers to whisk them away to an air conditioned SUV, far away from the dangerous questions and ideas birthed by us Rubes.
Yes, I’ve called a congressional rep from the dark side to ask questions as to why he supported males going into female locker rooms when his own daughters are in sports in local high school.
Well his staff danced around the answer and the rep never got back to me, but they did start sending me a newsletter like I somehow was supporting him. Doesn’t this make them look stupid? It happened also with a state senator, different issue. Dean Philips and Amy Klobuchar, by the way.
And yes, they are Minnesota’s finest, except for dear leader Governor Walz who appointed the new 20 something female weed czar, who promptly resigned one day after her first day. Something silly about no experience, unqualified, liar, and a past of many shady business deals.
Back atcha Dances with Sun!
Prez Trump out them all out! I listened to his interview with Raheem Kassam… substance! What a refreshing change!
Many of them are functioning alcoholics too. Because not only do they think they are the smartest people in the room, they honestly think they are that smart.
They take great pride in arrogantly flying in the face of those that push back.
Every now and then Karma does arrive and draw her sword.
The amusing part comes when they think no one can see karma.
This brutal honesty of “adults talking” is what keeps me (and I would imagine many others) from instinctively returning to the hallowed halls of CTH.
Thanks, Sundance — you know, and we KNOW you know — and we really appreciate you sharing with the rest of us.
I believe you, my opinion is formed from decades in the corporate world which when it comes to people of status, title what you have said applies as well. You’ve probably read about the 5 types of power, coercive, reward, legitimate, referent, expert. Generally people in government possess and work with 2, coercive and reward. Unless you consider lying and BS an expert power.
There was a phrase I first heard from an old corporate hand about a particular mode of promotion that was common at the place I had started working at as newbie where I had immediately observed that some of the “dullest knives” in the draw had supervising positions -That phrase was : “ Lick the one above you /. Kick the one below you “— it was a revealing comment and I could then spot the practitioners of that axiom …and avoided them …
Great piece! Thanks for the validation Sundance!
