Spurred from several recent conversations, it becomes entirely necessary for this specific audience to understand a reality that is never discussed.
If you are reading this, wherever you are reading this, by self-association you are in a select group of high information people with a much larger understanding of the issues than your network. That means you know, comprehend, understand and have a level of insight and discernment that is far above average. Now, let me be brutally honest.
Factually speaking, all of the people within the mechanisms of DC, the people you associate with being key allies to fight back against the visible corruption, the people you assign hope toward, are not as smart as you.
Re-read that as needed.
One of the biggest shifts of thinking needed, in order to change our dynamic to the abusive relationship with government, is to realize these people you consider important are just not that smart. They are not wiser; they are not more strategic; they are not as well versed in the details at the heart of the crisis; they are not as well informed; they do not have special access to information that makes them more capable; they do not understand the issues better than you.
Again, RE-READ that with new eyes to evaluate and understand the challenge.
It doesn’t matter what position they hold, or what access they have, or what groups, interests, networks or information resources are at their disposal. You know more than them, and you understand the material at a much higher level of comprehension than they do. It does not matter what their rank or importance is, YOU know more. Once you realize this, then you begin to change how you look at the challenge and at their functional capability within it.
The informational context you assign to them does not exist. The things you think they know, they don’t. The very specific information you believe they are aware of, does not exist in their mind. The people in Washington DC, those allies who you think might have the skills to fix issues, have no concept of what material you are aware of. You are light years ahead of them in the scale of information you understand, and the context it means.
I am not being hyperbolic.
Here’s the kicker…. They think they are more aware than you.
The system around them reinforces a belief that they hold some level of knowledge that you do not have. As a result, when they engage with you, they talk down to you, or talk in a manner of unintentional intellectual condescension that stems from a place where they cannot fathom your level of knowledge.
If you have the opportunity to talk to them, I mean really get beyond the surface level stuff and dig into the weeds (even the shallow weeds), suddenly they start to get a strange look on their face – that becomes fear – as your knowledge starts to destabilize their prior view of you.
Let me be very clear and precise. It doesn’t matter who they are, or what title they hold; the same reality of material fact that I am describing applies to all of them – at every level.
If you think of a top apex-level person, currently or formerly inside government, that aligns with the principles of freedom and liberty – and has a keen awareness of the issues and subject matter that has created our current crisis dynamic, I have likely spoken to them. Those who fit that description, and may even be reading this right now, will tell you in a moment of brutal honesty, I am correct.
The people you think can fix this stuff have no idea how much you know. Additionally, it becomes destabilizing and unnerving for them to accept your level of information and understanding.
Another key and important element, beyond the knowledge, intellect, wisdom and discernment level… YOU care more about it than they do. The stuff that you know, the stuff that you yearn for them to address and fix, is more important to you than it is to them.
Why am I telling you this?
Because we all need to change your reference points when communicating with them. We need to confront their condescension early in our contact. We need to be deliberate, direct, and brutally honest in our delivery.
When we write to them, articulate the arguments. When we talk to them, pull them into the weeds of the issues and force them to see that our grasp of the topic far exceeds their ability to bullshit their way around the issue.
Being courteous, respectful and considerate for their role, does not mean you have to dumb yourself down or consider yourself subservient to their view.
I guarantee you two things. First, that you know the material better than they do. Second, I absolutely guarantee that you care more than they do. What that latter element says about the challenge is for another discussion, but these key points need to be emphasized.
That’s it.
Love to all,
~ Sundance
Spot on commentary…………….as usual!
Politicians are too busy being part of the club to see what’s actually going on …….even if they wanted to which they don’t.
It’s the white wine spritzer country club attitude
AND
its exactly the same attitude of the empty headed liberals ….. ones who really believe they’re smarter and “care” more than everyone else.
yep
Add to that many can not or could not make it in the “normal” corporate or small business world…and the majority are as dumb as a box of rocks.
The Latest…
Obviously the conservative voters in Georgia are being very poorly served by their elected representatives. Actually, come to think of it, that is a nationwide situation. I believe that is the impetus to get involved in local politics. It s going to take time to America First representatives who don’t get corrupted on their way up to DC.
The operative (and only important word in your comment) is “elected.”
I don’t believe there’s been a valid elcetion in Georgia (or anywhere else in the US for that matter) for quite some time.
I NEVER thought I was dumber than Cori Bush!!!!
Sundance, I bump into this dichotomy everywhere, including very scripturally faithful little Baptist Church to which my husband and I had to find refuge. People look at me stupefied; my son is convinced I am a conspiracy theorist. My late dad had to begrudgingly admit I was right about the Uni-party.
This is another reason I appreciate the ability to discuss real issues here, on this precious site you guide and provide for us. Thank you.
Ha! Never compare anyone to Cory ..
AOC?
Thank you, as always Sundance. Your straight-to-the-point approach is appreciated and valued.
Now, if I may share, since the further this journey proceeds the more TRUE this “thought” becomes (to me, anyway):
CONgress
All of it
All of them
Corrupt
Compromised
Controlled
Complicit
There is no way around it – they are ALL bought and paid for in some fashion or another.
Proceed accordingly.
Thank you.
Wàaaaaaay back in ancient history, circa 2015 when I first came across murmurs and delicate suggestions of rampant pedophilia amongst the politicians and the hollyweirdos ….. I immediately came across the reason that there are an infinitesimally small number of clean, uncorrupt politicians was because it was IMPOSSIBLE to get donations for an election campaign UNLESS the individual was already compromised, and thus beholden to the orders of his or her blackmailers.
Anyone not already totally compromised and not under the control of a professional handler who happened to actually run and win…. it was entirely a fluke and happens only rarely.
You don’t get to run for office unless they have substantial compromising details about you that you don’t want made public.

This explains SO much of what is going on today, and has been, behind the curtain, ever since the World War II ….. and with the advent of easily hackable voting machines it became much worse.
That also explains why Donald Trump heavily self-financed his 2016 campaign. He got small donations from several million individuals and he got several large donations, but it was much less than the corporate donations made to his rivals.
I hope some day that we can learn all the gossipy details about the alleged loan that PDJT took out from Arch Supervillain George Soros. During the first Republican debate, Vivek Ramaswamy mentioned that Trump had received a 160 million dollar load from him for h s presidential campaign.
Talk about the art of the deal, 😂😆😂, the only thing remotely more humorous is if PDJT neglects to repay this specific loan.
Vivek told a complete falsehood. Another reason to dump any thoughts about voting for him. He can’t even do 5 minutes of research for the truth?
Read the truth here:
https://dailycaller.com/2016/03/02/this-little-known-trump-soros-connection-will-surprise-you/
Great link!
Thank you for enlightening me!!!
Vivek is simply too suave for my liking, I don’t trust such people who display such apparently “perfect” fronts…… there’s invariably a Grand Manipulator behind this glamorous “appealing” facade….
This is simply my own suspicious impression and could be inaccurate …..
“One Nation Under Blackmail” by Whitney Webb explains how this works. Blackmail explains why people act and do things that make little or no sense.
I still haven’t had time to sit down and read her two volume expose of all the crooks. I do listen to interviews with her, however, and she is one smart cookie.
Bingo!
The grifting class is littered with stupid people. That’s why control is their ultimate aim – it’s borne of fear tied to total lack of understanding.
The problem is they are not in control they have no control…they are controlled…as stated above they are whores they will perform as they are told…just watch DeSantis…they tell him what to say and where to go. I’m not even sure if they pat him on the head anymore.
Thanks Sundance..God Bless
They’re dumber and more amoral and evil. That’s a compensatory trait which benefits them.
They hate you for the traits they don’t have.
Sundance needs a position in Trump’s administration to root out he DeepState corruption.
He should be the Human Resources gatekeeper – the first interview.
I believe Sundance is just about as far into the public eye as is necessary and to go further would not help the cause. Granted I don’t know what I don’t know but the key is that neither does the other side in our battle. Most of them anyway.
And what it really boils down to… we need to ENLIST.
Blessings on you, Sundance.
I know firsthand what you speak of about them being clueless from my personal experiences in Central Indiana. I’ve also seen the aftermath and shutdown from the Establishment when some of the Truth I was telling started to catch on and catch fire.
I’ve had my “betters” get downright maniacal and screechy when I showed them that their perceived power over the Representatives was fruitless. They can’t unsee what I showed them. They can’t unhear what I told them. They are doing everything they can to hide what they know because they can’t handle the True Reality verses their perceived one… but they will ultimately have to face what they are doing and who they are supporting.
The Representatives I spoke with short-circuited with basic math and couldn’t help but trip over their double-minded lies. Speaking out in session against things, they themselves were guilty of. Challenged, they fold like a deck of cards.
We need to enlist. We need to find open seats and run. It doesn’t matter that we are poor or seemingly uninfluential. We are influential and GOD EQUIPS THE CALLED. HE DOESN’T CALL THE EQUIPPED.
It would be very difficult to be dumber than a Congress member. Prime example is AOC has risen to the top as one of their “top leaders.”
This post is unnerving to me personally because about 2 weeks ago I resolved to adopt this exact posture in all future communications with my representatives at all levels of government. Try it yourself and I hope your experience is similar to mine. I’ll let you know if the reach-back I’m experiencing continues, or is this an attempt at a polite dismissal by someone who thinks he’s my “better”. I’m optimistic that my state representative and I’m sure one of my senators, “gets it”. Those levers are going to be politely but firmly pushed and pulled leading up to 11/24 and then 1/20/25. After that, we remind several hundred people that we had and have laws that pertain to every citizen. A couple big ones were violated and it’s time for a trial.
Wow I just responded very similarly to this post. When God moves he does it through people. Many people having the same revelation at the same time creates a tidal shift.
Got it
Donald Trump is not one of them
James 1:5 NIV
“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
Thank you for that! Your message was empowering as you meant it to be.
“I think, Therefore I am” — Rene Descartes
Thank you Sundance – you are an amazing researcher, teacher and friend. Your posts are both informative and inspirational. WE GOT this!!
Yep, there’s some pretty dumb, yet elitist, sitting in the halls of power. Obama included!
He’s dumb, yet in an evil way he’s wise.
As we’ve experienced, that’s a very dangerous combo.
Thank you for being real and doing so much for America, dear Sundance.
Thank you!
However the reach of Sundance, and his powerful message has travelled the globe.
Our small Canadian branch is immensely grateful.
Cheers to all!
SD: Does this group include PDJT?
In my opinion we do know more than him on some issues. Certainly no human can know it all. What makes him different is that he cares about and loves America. Also, while we wish he could be quicker about it, he learns on the job and focusses that learning on his love for America.
Sundance, we do not communicate, but as an older male citizen I love your work and what you accomplish for all of us!!!!
Thank you Sundance!
I certainly view them all much differently than I did prior to finding this Last Refuge a few years ago. Your commentary is spot on, most especially this insight, “YOU care more about it than they do.”
Onwards!
Thank you Sundance! Your encouragement is appreciated. I just cannot believe the depths of their evil. My favorite TV movies after Gone With the Wind and It’s a Wonderful Life was Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Interesting binding time with my parents and the old tv’s. My dad would be thundering if he was alive and seeing what they are doing and have done to the country he fought for and interrupted his life to protect. If I could talk to my younger self, I would say “Watch for the smokescreens and where is the money?” Yesterday was another real eye opener. So sorry you didn’t complete your assignments on time and were totally unprepared…..Or, were they?
Thank you – and now I am already, in my head, writing my next speech (challenge) to our city council.
Dunning-Kruger effect.
Many of the people that we look to for “hope” are corrupt individuals. The GOPe as a whole is corrupt. Watch the sabotage of Trump in 2024 and then assign him the blame for the loss of the country in 2024
Either way: They steal the election again and blame the “loss” on President Trump, or they allow the election to proceed relatively normally and ensure the coming complete failure of the economy crashes just after his inauguration.
Either way, orange man bad.
And then watch the destruction of the Republican Party as they’re left with no voters. Go tell Mitch and Rubio and and any other Republican politician that the gravy train is over and they will never win another election. See what they say then.
The Vice Ranking Member of the Committee of Oversight and Reform is AOC. Case closed.
I learned in DC that these guys also put their pants on one leg at a time. They are not super human and mostly they are insecure.
No matter how high or important the throne, what sits on it is the same as your own.
my E-5 Brother in Law’s Wife TOLD an Admiral’s Wife the SAME THING when the Admiral’s Wife tried to Go to the Front of the Line at NOB Commissary in the 1980’s. ( it was a LITTLE MORE Colorful than that i Was Told )
Sundance,
Absolutely brilliant!
A short anecdote just to show Treepers that what you are saying is not only true for the US but many other places (if not everywhere) in the Western world.
In 2003 we had a referendum in Sweden whether to join the euro or not. Of course all the major political parties, the Labour unions, the Employers association, the major multinational firms etc all campaigned for a “yes”. (And put in lots and lots of mony into the campaign.) And still the people voted no by 56% – 42%. My mother was one of the few politicans on the right side of the political spectrum who dared to confront the political establishment. Towards the end of the campaign she got to debate the Minister of Social Security Affairs (Pensions etc) in front of the administrators and political secretaries in the Parliament. During the debate she had to correct the Minister who appeared to mix up nominal and real interest rates. After a few more forth and back is was obvious to all an sundry that the minister did not understand the difference between nominal and real rates. My mother felt it necessay to point it out and got this reply: “One should not have to be a professor of economics to be allowed to debate these issues.”
It was pretty obvious that the Minister lost the debate hands down, but that is not the important thing here. It is the fact that a woman who had been in politics since “junior high” and now was responsible for handling the national pension scheme not only was uninformed of some basic economics, but worse, was oblivious to the fact that the voters actually had a right to expect her to know and understand these things.
The referendum was extemely revealing for our politicians. Unable to fight the normal tribal wars; vote for the blues or vote for the reds, this time the voters demanded facts. And in general most politicians are very poor on facts, and that showed.
Wow this is an eerie post for me. I was literally just going through this scenario in my own mind. We have a solid senate primary challenger to Barraso here in Wyoming. Attended one of his townhalls and the guy is very solid but I realized in speaking with him EXACTLY what Sundance has written here. I know a hell of a lot more than him.
For example he joked “they are probably listening to this meeting through my phone… haha”. I replied “No they ARE listening and they are also tracing my contact and everyone else in the rooms contact with you.”
At the same time I was listening to an interview of Kari Lake by Roseanne Barr (good interview) but in it Kari commented about something that caused the same revelation. She simply is unaware of it all and is only waking up to it now.
Well said. Just stop cursing. Ok.
I feel this way about almost everyone I speak to whether they are in government or not. It becomes so obvious within minutes that I am light years ahead of them in knowledge and understanding of our current plight. But they think I’m a lunatic, including my own family. Sadly, I even find this among “conservatives” who are so sure that they are informed. They are not!
Those still wedded to Fox are clueless…..
…and think they are informed.
This includes journalists, who know so little it’s hard to list it all.
Quite right. The politicians are mainly talking to other pols and journalists. The reason why they are able to consider themselves so well informed and intelligent.
The truth hurts!
I liken this message from Sundance to how pompous and arrogant NFL Head Coaches treat the local press during their Tuesday press conferences. They don’t treat the national media like that, as a matter fact, they genuflect to them. But to the local scribes they sneer and gnash teeth at them. And the local press knows 10 times more than the national media about the teams issues. Thankyou Sundance for this forum to objectively advance our opinions to the other discerning members of our well established clan.
Knowledge and particularly wisdom brings calm. I’m not in the fight to change hearts and minds, too long in the tooth with the requisite water under the bridge for that, but do support those who diligently work at it daily. God be with them.
IMO, make use of the tools God gave us, each to his or her highest and best. We’re all different.
A wise man who mentored me imparted a bit of wisdom early on which has stuck with me over the decades….. ‘Son, the more you know the more you know how little you know. Remain humble and curious‘
When the time comes I’ll carry his rosary into battle once again. God be with patriots 🙂
A. Lot. Of. “Stuff”. Is. Happening. … all at once … intentional ?? … or intended distraction ??
The seasoned ABC guy – who supposedly “proved” PizzaGate was fake … just got arrested for having a graphic pornography collection of babies & child torture !!!
I’ve always said those in government are only there because they could never make it in the private sector. What would someone like Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Mike DeWine, Chuck Schumer and the like have (other than acquired influence peddling now that they’ve been in government) to offer in the private sector? Absolutely nothing. Nothing.
Thank you for that wise perspective. Most politicians reveal their stupidity daily, and I would have to throw journalists in that boat as well. Like a good homily, I’ve been moved to throw a few bucks into the tip jar at CTH
If one thinks about the education of those who live and work in Washington, DC, especially those in elected national offices, you might say they are educated lawyers, right? Ok, herewith I wish to present an opinion on lawyers written over 2300 years ago…that’s right over 2300 years ago. Surely you’ve heard this guy’s name during your life:
WHO IS THE LAWYER?
Socrates Speaks: “But the lawyer is always in a hurry; there is the water of the clepsydra driving him on, and not allowing him to expatiate at will: and there is his adversary standing over him, enforcing his rights; the indictment, which in their phraseology is termed the affidavit, is recited at the time”! and from this he must not deviate. He is a servant, and is continually disputing about a fellow-servant before his master, who is seated, and has the cause in his hands; the trial is never about some indifferent matter, but always concerns himself; (173) and often the race is for his life.’
The consequence has been, that he has 6ecome keen and shrewd; he has learned how to flatter his master in word and indulge him in deed; but his soul is small and unrighteous. His condition, which has been that of a slave from his youth upwards, has deprived him of growth and uprightness and independence; dangers and fears, which were too much for his truth and honesty, came upon him in early years, when the tenderness of youth was unequal to them, and he has been driven into crooked ways; from the first he has practiced deception and retaliation, and has become stunted and warped.
And so he has passed out of youth into manhood; having no soundness in him; and is now, as he thinks, a master in wisdom. Such is the lawyer.”

for what it’s worth, I would only add that government and establishment positions of power attract psychopaths that are incapable of the humility required for true wisdom.
also an observation: stupid people are too stupid to know they are stupid. evil people don’t know they are evil or they wouldn’t be evil. Insane people are incapable of understanding they are insane or they wouldn’t be insane. This “unknowing” makes them perfect candidates for psychopath positions of power.
and here’s the proof (one of many….) they’re all idiots:
I need convincing that engaging these people with argument or persuasion could ever bear any fruit.
The only think power mongers understand is brute force.
I look at it this way, I’m less concerned about convincing them of my argument than I am about exposing others to the truth and demonstrating to those in power that the gig is up. We know the truth.
When they continue to deny, obfuscate and PRETEND is opens many doors to awakening people.
There will be such a groundswell of repudiation of what they pretend that we.will.win.
The pretending is intense now. It’s a muscle memory reflex few politicians seem willing to acknowledge let alone abandon.
Their pretending is in direct opposition to what Americans are living daily.
My husband, politically savvy but less willing to engage those he doesn’t know than I am, was having lunch out of state.
A couple of a different ethnicity engaged him in conversation. Some pleasantries were exchanged then politics came up.
They were appalled at the blatant corruption of Biden. They spoke of this for some time until the gentleman said Trump was no better.
My husband engaged and said, this was not accurate. He said the media is trying very hard to make us think that but it’s not true. Additionally, he said politicians and the media want us divided as it makes us easier to control if they pit us against one another.
He said both parties are fighting DJT with everything because he’s the only one standing up for the American people.
They said they were worried that the “Make America Great Again” meant he wanted blacks to be subjugated.
My husband responded that that wasn’t it at all. He said it’s another media lie and not to be fooled.
DJT wants America to be strong like she was coming out of WWII as a manufacturing and economic powerhouse full of economic resources.
This carried on for quite a while. It was a moving conversation for my husband and they parted with the couple thanking him and saying they understood it all better now.

Yep, spot on! Correct in everyway! Long known that, but was reminded recently:
I have had communications without end with healthcare over details of upcoming eye surgery. In not ONE of my list of legitimate concerns, did they instruct me on techniques to get (numbers of) drops in my eyes. It struck me an extremely ironical that a homeless person in my neighborhood told me how to do it easily. Now, this is through a haze of substances, all the more amazing. Same indifference in DC, different flavor.
When I was a young girl, my father’s knowledge of history and politics held me in awe. He could discuss any topic with clarity and brevity. So I asked him why he didn’t run for office himself, and he told me he was too honest, and too smart. I didn’t understand, until I did.
I used to teach my students that a free society wasn’t easy to have, that it definitely wasn’t for the faint-hearted, and that only an intelligent people could have self-governong.
Didn’t realize how right I was.
Thank you for reinforcing my teachings, and for continually giving me reasons to keep the faith. I cherish my ongoing learning.
Exquisite commentary!
The ” ruling class” are nothing more than Hollywood players with an unlimited bank account and too much power to do real harm to those they serve.
Thank you Sundance for this accurately stated commentary!
I witnessed this yesterday while viewing the so-called impeachment hearings. Both, the Rs and Ds who spoke during their allotted time blatantly displayed their lack of discernment, disconnect, critical thinking. It was all theatrics.
I continued to wondered out loud, how in the hell did these clowns/idiots manage to get elected to their current positions!! I concluded they are idiots, they are phonies, they do think they are supreme in their thoughts/words; no, they are NOT! I pray for our country and pray individuals will realize they do realize “…that you know the material better than they do.”
I appreciate you: a gift to us. This commentary was spot on!
I think there needs to be differentiation (by literal names) between not knowing due to cocoon silo dwelling and they are “directed” away from truth when they get close and actual malevolent characters. The former have the ability to understand if we can get them out of their protective cocoon.
I would imagine Clepto Kemp and RatsInYourBurger are in the latter bunch, the melavolent ones.
They knowingly lie to us. A liar is the worst thing a person can be
In my opinion
They couldn’t make it in our world!!
