I will be as generous in explanation as brutal honesty permits. This is hopefully the last I will write about the internecine network of California GOPe manipulative politics and the latest episode of republican fraud within in.
Fibber Mike Davis (below left) gave an interview {Rumble Segment Here} which now provides some clarity on his character and the issues of his defense of Harmeet Dhillon (below right), in an effort to protect her from the outcome of Dhillon’s own creation. Within the interview Davis notes that in addition to her RNC and California GOP professional relationships, Dhillon also represents the Trump campaign as a lawyer.
Within the interview we discover who and why Davis was protecting when he made claims about the Trump campaign seemingly being okay with a California GOP scheme to allocate proportional delegates to Ron DeSantis. In essence, the “Trump campaign official” who didn’t raise objections to the CA rule change, the one Mike Davis was protecting from scrutiny, was actually Harmeet Dhillon herself. The same Harmeet who signed off on the 6/17/23 email proposal, then reversed after sunlight.
Mr. Davis also admits he and Mrs. Dhillon have a professional working relationship with the Article III Project organization that forms the basis of Mr. Davis’ affluence and influence. Davis and Dhillon swim in, and benefit from, the same financial ocean. Here’s the result:
Within Harmeet Dhillon’s lengthy explanation of her backtracking [SEE HERE], in the second segment {SEE HERE} she uses carefully constructed lawyer speak to highlight that she was duped by the other two California GOP officials, Jessica Patterson and Shawn Steel. Mrs. Dhillon will not and cannot say she was lied to, for two reasons.
Mrs. Dhillon carefully says, “I was told by the state party” and “I accepted these representations” in the customary way a lawyer would obfuscate their choice not to say I was lied to. Indeed, against the inaccuracy of the original justifications by Dhillon, and if we are to take Mrs. Dhillon at her word, she says in her reversal of position that she was misled and mistaken in her opinion by materially false representations of Jessica Patterson and Shawn Steel.
Unfortunately, Harmeet Dhillon cannot be more deliberate in her statement because she has a professional role to maintain, and the admission that she was duped is against her brand image.
Harmeet Dhillon represents herself to her clients and her audience as the counterbalance to manipulation in elections and politics. If Dhillon were to admit she was a victim to manipulation in California election rules and politics, her brand would suffer significant harm.
Given that Mrs Dhillon is supposed to be a subject matter expert in the world of political rules and specifically RNC constructs, she cannot be viewed as incompetent to the rules and constructs she is expected to comprehensively understand.
As a result, Harmeet needs to carefully extract herself from a situation that shows her inept ability, yet simultaneously admit the original position she took was wrong.
Navigating a professional path between duplicity and incompetence is always challenging. Making matters worse, Dhillon is being paid by the Trump campaign specifically for legal expertise navigating rules and regulations of GOP primary electoral politics.
Despite the wide grin on the face of Marc Elias, getting the rules wrong in Harmeet’s own backyard is not a good look and not funny. Everything that followed Dhillon’s original really bad GOP rule justification is an exhibition in professional face-saving. However, this is not the first time Harmeet Dhillon has fallen back on the “I accepted these representations” excuse.
When Dhillon was originally challenged on the 2022 partnership with notoriously corrupt and conniving Henry Barbour in Mississippi, Mrs. Dhillon also defended and justified her lack of knowledge about the Barbour background by saying she was assigned the role to work with Barbour by the RNC (Ronna McDaniel).
It’s never Dhillon’s fault. Her lack of knowledge or skill within the job of her self-proclaimed political and electoral expertise is always the fault of others. 🙄 Just ask Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson or a host of other incompetence justifiers within the world of political interest. Perhaps even ask voices within the orbit of President Trump himself and you will find a multitude of high praise statements and cover stories.
This is where Lisa Monaco, Marc Elias, Mary McCord, Andrew Weissmann, Norm Eisen and Barry Berke start laughing uncontrollably.
This is also why Steve Bannon’s frequent WarRoom guest, Attorney Mike Davis, stepped in so quickly after the Laura Loomer revelations began to get traction and sunlight. Davis continued to say the proportional rule change was not objected to by the Trump campaign; yet, Davis would not say who in the campaign was seemingly aware of the CA GOP rule change and was okay with it.
The “Trump campaign official” who didn’t raise objections to the CA rule change, the one Mike Davis was protecting from scrutiny, was actually Harmeet Dhillon herself.
After all, as noted by Mike Davis, Mrs. Dhillon is an attorney for the Trump campaign, and the leaked email containing the position of Harmeet Dhillon, Jessica Patterson and Shawn Steel -from three weeks ago- was against the interests of President Trump. Surely, if the rule change was an issue, the attorney for the Trump campaign would not support it.
It is much easier to protect incompetence by saying “go fuck yourself” to questioning, than to admit a person with a close business relationship has just made a very big mistake. {DIRECT RUMBLE LINK}

President Trump should recognize the value in what Ms Laura Loomer has just provided. Loomer likely saved the Trump campaign from something a thousand times more costly than the monthly billing cycle of Dhillon Law Firm. And Loomer did it all free of charge – because it was the right thing to do.
Consider me done with this episode, unless the critics want to continue engagement.

Anyone with even a scant acquaintance with Harmeet Dhillon knows she always ‘takes care of number one.’
That so many have been taken in by her is not flattering to such admirers. She gives so little of herself, and how very dismissive she can
be of others when her tantrums so demand.
I was perfectly willing to be wowed by her television beauty, sense of style, refinement and quick wit, and thought how wonderful it was such a sharp lawyer like that could miraculously espouse conservative principles and also be living (of all places!) in San Francisco. The latter was a head-scratcher, filed away for another moment of introspection, but still inexplicably incongruous. Yet, like many, I continued to feel buoyed to know that Harmeet would be undertaking important work for Donald Trump and other conservatives at large at various moments throughout the years.
Now, in the aftermath of such an open-and -shut case of betrayal (having carefully read and reread her statements), and while also surveying the wreckage of CA State politics in which Dhillon was not an insignificant player in Republican circles, it’s clear to me that she was, again and forever more, only ‘taking care of number one.’
Mike Davis is another matter. He came out of nowhere (often a suspicious sign in itself). Like many, I thoroughly enjoyed his TV appearances, yet, by the same token, I kept asking myself, why haven’t I ever heard of him before? His talent and conservative bona fides were remarkable, yet I kept thinking: when is he, like so many others, going to be bought off by Trump’s political foes? “How does a solitary warrior like him make a living begging for donations. I was willing to think that an angel investor or two could help him pay for essential costs, but an actual living so as to raise a family? Yet, the evil forces couldn’t deny Mike had special abilities, and they weren’t going to be letting him kick around Trump’s adversaries daily for Bannon, for the Nation, or for Trump.
Quite a disappointment! But, undeniable in the case of both of them.
I predict they will both soon be formally hired into the DeSantis campaign.
Your last sentence about sums it up. Dhillon odor has preceded her presence for a very long time and quite obvious in the direction she will appear.
“The lady doth protest too much, methinks.” Davis still keeps digging his hole deeper…and taking Harmeet along with him. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. I only hope that Trump is not naive but has been fully aware and has been playing a “Keep your enemies closer” kind of game with these backstabbers.

I’ve always been amazed at his depth of understanding and quick grasp of complex issues, and his ability to explain or address them effectively on the spot. Mike, just like President Trump, is a great listener (key point out there for media folk!) who actually wants to know what you’re saying before he addresses your points… and then, just like President Trump, cuts right to the heart of the issue with clarity and ease.

We contacted our three delegates in Delaware and told them , as you said, that he put millions of his own money into exposing the election fraud and that he was a tireless advocate for Americans and the truth and President Trump.
We told them Rona was useless in helping MAGA candidates and Harmeet had just deserted Kari Lake under the guise of helping out in Georgia and we know what happened there as well. She ran to dilute the votes for Mike.
It was disappointing to hear no matter what we presented, our delegates were all going with Rona. Delaware has a new GOP leader now with Julianne Murray so we are hopeful to see good support for MAGA candidates in the future.

So, Mike Davis told “lawyer truth”, which is something which is technically true but totally false and misleading in context.
It reminds me of the time many years ago when I was living with a friend and his girlfriend in a crappy LA apartment. There was no place to put my food in the fridge and I told my buddy, I needed a spot cleared out. (His girlfriend had all these vegetables and crap–vegan.) He told his girlfriend who told him that I was lying–that I had space in the fridge. At the time I had two beers inside the fridge door (that’s it) and that meant I had space in the fridge. Technically true, but not contextually true.
Guess who moved out before the lease was up? It was a crappy place anyway–some kid was slicing up people’s mail and the landlord was hosing blood off the sidewalk one day from some fight. I ended up better off, but, I could have left at the end of the lease with my security deposit if the g-friend had been honest.
Wise to leave that situation while the leaving was good. Who knows what she would have lied about next.
Harmeet also left Kari Lake in the lurch when Kari needed the RNC most…when the sabotage of printers for election day and lack of chain of custody for dropbox ballots should have been VIGOROUSLY opposed by the RNC. No, they just took the donations to “fight” and skipped town in just a few days after the election.

Maybe I’m way off the mark here, but I’ve noticed something, and it’s a bit disturbing. The DC Mafia and their aligned cohorts have been going after a lot of Trump-engaged lawyers. They try to get them disbarred or otherwise hassled, and they try to use that professional lawfare as a deterrent to lawyers signing on with PDJT, his campaign, and his legal defense.
This makes me wonder. So if you wanted to implant sleepers into PDJT’s various legal efforts, wouldn’t you intentionally make it difficult for him to find anybody else for those roles? Sort of limit the pool, so to speak? And so what’s left to choose from are already a bunch of would-be sleepers? Just spit-balling, but I notice it seems many good and seemingly decent attorneys are chased/threatened/hassled/lawfared away from PDJT. If that’s right, what does it say of the ones who are not chased away? Are they in the pocket? Incompetent? Known grifters? People who it’s known will not go the distance? I just wonder if the pool of decent, competent, honest legal talent available to PDJT hasn’t been contracted so as to leave him with few options.

I support DJT and will vote for no other, but he does have some flaws when it comes to personnel selection. His first term was proof of that-I give you the Javanka as evidence.
I was screeching at the top of my lungs when he picked Barr to replace Sessions. I knew Barr was a swamp-rat of the 33rd degree. I agree with you that a number of his selections were not stellar, but I also know how the game is played in DC, and how much leverage the Senate confirmation process limits a President’s actual choices. It’s basically how the Senate, both wings of the swamp, manage to get their own creatures into the cabinet. That whole “advice and consent of the Senate” clause is a real peach as utilized in our contemporary politics. That’s why I laugh when they say “Trump judge” or “Biden judge.” Most of them are Swamp judges, because that’s how the deals are cut to get them through the Senate.
I think we need to be watching for similar shenanigans in all 50states leading up to the gop convention. California is the biggest delegate haul but the rest will be important

A question keeps cropping up in my mind, and am not an expert in law. But if she was on the payroll to Trump, and i am using a term not fully learned, doesn’t she have fiduciary responsibilities that carry consequences if compromised? Than again, what am i saying. one word says it all. Politics.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is no longer a member of the Freedom Caucus after a vote last month, according to one member of the conservative group’s board.
Andy Harris called the vote — the first time HFC has formally booted a member — an “appropriate action.”
Although Loomer got a win here (and don’t forget, it was the leaker’s courage that should get the lion’s share of credit), Loomer has a history of being a loose cannon. That comment will make me the skunk at the picnic here, but I would urge caution before we start singing hosannas to Ms Loomer. I’ll take the wins wherever and through whomever we get them, but it’s prudent to temper enthusiasm towards ALL political actors and their associates. Remember when MTG was everyone’s conservative Joan of Arc? See how she’s fallen from Grace? The same thing could happen to Laura the Great, so I would advise caution before promoting her uncritically.
Why can’t the Trump campaign pay people loyal to Trump? If people loyal to Trump are not used in the campaign, why would we expect them to be used in the administration? This is very troubling.
Connection to The People was an integral part of 2016. There were spontaneous routes of info and ideas that were passed directly to the campaign by The People. The campaign was listening. They had millions of eyes watching out for Donald.
In 2020 they took out the connection to The Peopke with regional heads. I complained.

Beyond that, at the end of the segment, Bannon and Loomer covered how THIS IS HOW THEY DO IT, its how the GOPe/RNC and State R party leadership (Executive Committee) operate behind closed doors, manipulating the PROCESS.
Loomer talked about FLORIDA, where DeSantis campaign is working to give Delagates to RDS.
They tried it in 2016, heck they tried it in ’64.
Its a STANDARD playbook, anyone who is politically astute KNOWS the plays, and that PDJT’s political campaign team is unaware is not credible.
That HE isn’t aware, with all of the Lawfare attacks, etc. its understandable but that those he is delegating to, is not.
McCarthy spearheaded this underhanded rule change in California.

That was hilarious BUT also a shot across the bow to MTG…she was a frequent guest on Warroom in the past but not any more. Looks like she fell for Kevy-boy and went Uniparty in a big way! I think Bannon has decided to do the same thing with Davis that he did with Steve Cortes, which is to simply drop him completely from the program and never speak his name. A public calling out might feel good but maybe a total shunning will be more effective in the long run?

There seems to be a dearth of legal competence in the feckless echelon of the Republican Party who have been played for fools since (1) 2018 ballot harvesting took center stage and again (2) in 2020 when all the rules for in person voting went out the window as Democrat Lawfare ran the table nationwide installing Universal Mail in Balloting, and (3) in 2022 when courts dismissed every challenge Republicans made to rank disregard to election laws and cut off dates for accepting ballots.
I was hoping that Mike Davis would have been an ally in this struggle for competent legal councel in reversing this continuing travesty but unfortunately while hope springs eternal today we get the big ugly.
This whole sordid situation proves yet again that the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Mike Davis may have started out with the noblest of intentions but somewhere along the line he lost his way and now he’s been called out in front of everyone and he’s clearly not handling it well.
