The problems are too numerous to encapsulate; however, for the sake of brevity they can be argued into three main buckets: (1) Fakery – the entire dishonest operation from the outset (triggered visibly in ’21, originating back in ’18) was based on deception, astroturf and false pretenses. (2) The candidate just isn’t that good, is inauthentic in the extreme, zero private sector understanding, and is dependent on #1. (3) Transparently a Big Club operation, surrounded by the most expensive deceptions the GOPe can muster.
I said last summer the DeSantis campaign would collapse upon itself as sunlight poured in. That’s exactly what has been happening. Despite their initial trust deposits, Florida Republican voters are now a case study in ‘not going to be fooled again’. Once you see the strings on the marionettes, you can never return to that moment in the performance when you did not see them. I think we make too much of an assumption that DeSantis is just listening to the wrong people.

Here’s what I think about Trump’s p***y remark: like most men with their friends in the locker room, Trump bragged about doing something he never actually did and made remarks he never expected to go beyond the locker room. To me, Trump’s “puffery” falls into the same category as “things Trump does that do not affect my life”, such as his “mean” tweets, orange color, his whoop-de-do hairdo, small hands, his too-long neckties and the fact he has no rhythm and can’t dance. Only Trump’s policies affect my life, and that’s what I consider when I vote for him or for any other political candidate.

The drumbeats of war beat louder and louder. They will continue to pacify us by staying under the radar, poisoning the courts, lying, pretending to be outraged along with us while doing nothing.
But it is clear — they have no regard for human life, for our well being, for morality, for justice. Their goal is to keep us producing wealth, so they can divert it to themselves.
They will not even blink if we catch them and broadcast it to the world, much less quit. Only when we quit giving them our wealth, and allowing them control will the enslavement stop. They will not stop. It has to be us that changes.
Stop giving them our health care dollars through insurance and government, stop working in ways that they can harness our wealth and the fruit of our labor, stop letting the teach our children, control our churches.

I have seen how ballot harvesting and manipulation can change the outcome of a Presidential election. What would stop the Repugs from rigging a few key State Primaries to keep Trump off of the ballot in 2024? I am sure the Demcommies can show a few of the smartest Repugs how to do that. We have to stop expecting fairness even in the Primaries. We are MAGA and we had better be trying to get people to run as MAGA for all of the down ballot nominations as well. If the Repugs won’t play ball President Trump will have to create a third party or a so called Independent candidacy. This will be a much harder route, but if we all stick together and just keep working at electing our candidates, we will have a chance. There are a lot of unaffiliated voters who will vote with us if they think we can win. Repugs don’t have to vote with us, but a lot of Democraps and Independents can stomach the idea of voting for a third party if they believe that is where the best choice is. I think such a move would be extremely difficult. But, like Donald J Trump said, “What the hell do you have to lose?”
