Congressman Adam Schiff was the ranking member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from 2015 through 2019, then Chairman of that same committee from 2019 through 2023. In his leadership position on the HPSCI, Schiff was also a member of the congressional Gang of Eight who received classified intelligence briefings on all U.S. intel matters.
Adam Schiff used his position on the HPSCI to fabricate information from the HPSCI, leak information to media, and falsify statements during public appearances. Following the 2020 midterm election result, Schiff was forcibly removed from the committee by Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Today the House of Representatives censured Schiff for his lies and manipulative conduct and submitted him to an ethics investigation by the House.
(Via Politico) – The House GOP voted Wednesday to publicly reprimand Rep. Adam Schiff for his leading role in Democratic investigations of former President Donald Trump.
The measure, which passed 213-209, formally censures Schiff and directs the House Ethics Committee to investigate his actions. All five Republican members of the House ethics panel and Rep. Ken Buck (R-Colo.) voted “present” on Wednesday’s measure.
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.), the sponsor of the resolution, and other conservatives tried to advance a similar censure measure last week, but 20 Republicans — objecting to language that could have resulted in a $16 million fine for Schiff, unless he resigned from Congress — joined most Democrats to sink it before it came up for a full House vote. Luna removed that provision to allay their concerns. (read more)
Is there a public, official censoring yet to come where he stands there before them? Or has that happened already?
He had to present himself in the well of the House as the motion was passed, and will be referred to the Ethics Committee (big yawn). Other than that, he simply joins the ranks of about 14 other notorious individuals who have been censured. Hardly the punishment to fit the crime of lying to the United States for all those years.
Thanks to Rep. Luna for driving the vanilla censure, but expulsion should have been part of the package as well.
The republicans who voted against are all on the ethics committee ,possibly trying not to damage their impartiality when they try him again!

Schiff is locked into a 3 person race for the seat of Senator Diane Feinstein with two other Democrats (one party State ) Rep. Katie Porter, and Rep. Barbara Lee. Schiff is backed by Pelosi and is currently ahead in all polls, and he is now fundraising off the Censure.
There was almost no coverage in the California press about the censure. Ironically, both of his Democrat opponents could exploit his censure, but instead have kept mum, probably sealing their defeat.
This is when the GOP needs to have a top notch opposition research team, to knock off this queen before he gains even more power.

Just another disappointing denouement by our feckless GOP Reps who always make so much ‘Sound and Fury Signifying Nothing’ and leave us waiting, always waiting for real Capitol Hill Leadership to reveal itself. I don’t even buy popcorn for these Congressional charades any longer.

Ok, so we know Schiff was a liar, we know the FBI, DoJ and CIA fixed the last election. We know the Durham report was a cover job and what? No one can charge anyone and enough of our “elected representatives” are bought so where do we go from here?
My advice: Call your representatives and let them know you are not happy, call their family members if you know them and tell them the same. Call the family members of the media talking heads and let them know you are disappointed they are supporting the narrative and so forth. You have the pressure those who are spouting the trash.
We clearly cannot vote our way out of this so start narrative their families. It’s all ya got until they prompt a weak minded person to start shooting. . . Then we would lose it all.
So Adam Schiff is censored, and… What’s going to happen? He’ll probably win the Senate seat just because…
