Today he testified in classified setting before the House intelligence committee.Β Tomorrow is the public version.
Special Counsel John Durham is scheduled to be questioned tomorrow by members of the House Judiciary Committee in a public setting.Β The hearing is scheduled for 9:00am ET, Rayburn Office Building [ DETAILS HERE ] – “The hearing will focus on the report of Special Counsel John Durham that examined the origins and justifications of the Federal Bureau of Investigationβs (FBI) Crossfire Hurricane investigation against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump.”
Questions have been passed along, and hopefully this summary is timed to avoid giving Mary McCord and her Lawfare team prep-time to construct their defensive talking points.
[Durham Report Here] Questions like:
(1) Mr. Durham, having spent four years investigating, researching, reviewing, interviewing and pouring through files related to the overall Trump-Russia collusion story, your report -like the report of Robert Mueller that preceded it- found no substantive predicate existed to ever open an investigation of candidate Donald Trump for any efforts with Russians or foreign actors to interfere in the 2016 election.Β As a result of your time and diligence, you are likely the #1 subject matter expert in the entire series of events.
β¦ Question: In your opinion, was President Obama aware there was no reason in 2016 to investigate Donald Trump, who then became President-elect Trump?
(2) You note in your report that you never re-reviewed any of the material evidence that formed the baseline for the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 election.
β¦ Question: Why not?
β¦ Question: Who made the decision not to review the 2-year Mueller probe activity as part of your investigative review?Β Why was that decision made?
(3) Do you agree that both your 4-year review of the U.S government action in the Trump-Russia collusion story crossed several paths with the 2-year Mueller review of the Russian interference in the election story?
Question: In your opinion, how is it possible that Robert Mueller and his team of 19 investigators, 50 FBI agents and 100 administrative staff, could investigate Russian election interference for two years and not discover the Trump-Russia collusion story was a hoax created by the Hillary Clinton campaign?
(4) You questioned several current and former CIA officials about the 2016 Intelligence Community Assessment.
β¦ Question: How do you reconcile the sanctions placed by Barack Obama against 20 Russian officials in December of 2016, against the reality that there was little substantive confidence Russia interfered in the election?
β¦ Question:Β How do you reconcile your investigative findings with the December 29th, 2016, Joint Analysis Report (JAR) on Russia Cyber Activity about Russian hacking, and with the January 7th, 2017,Β Intelligence Community Assessment that specifically stated -falsely- that Russia was trying to help Donald Trump win the 2016 election?
β¦ Question:Β Did Russians hack the 2016 DNC email servers and leak the information to Julian Assange at Wikileaks?
(5) You note in your report [CITATION] how former FBI Director James Comey was intimately involved in the creation of the Carter Page FISA application.Β You write about Comey continually asking the DOJ National Security Division and FBI counterintelligence investigators, βWhereβs the FISA, we need the FISA.βΒ However, you never interviewed James Comey or Andrew McCabe, because the former FBI Director and Deputy refused to cooperate or give testimony to you.
β¦ Question:Β How did you discover details about the demands of Comey?
β¦ Question: How did you write specific quotes from Andrew McCabe describing Comey’s demands?
β¦ Question: Did you review transcripts of Andrew McCabe’s testimony to Inspector General Michael Horowitz?
β¦ Question: Why did Inspector General Michael Horowitz never release those transcripts?Β And do you have a copy?
(6) The two-year Mueller investigation was headed by a gentleman named Andrew Weissmann.Β Mr. Weissmann then gave former Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein indictments of 17 Russian nationals who were alleged to have interfered in the 2016 election.Β Those indictments were never made public, and the allegations within them were sealed and placed in the security of the DOJ-National Security Division never to be reviewed or acted upon.
β¦ Question: Did you review those indictments?
β¦ Question: Are those indictments valid evidence of Russian election interference?
β¦ Question: In your opinion, why were those indictments never made public?
β¦ Question: Mr. Weissmann created the Russian indictments that were never used, and Mr. Weissmann recently published a lengthy roadmap to guide special counsel Jack Smith in his novel use of the Espionage Act to target President Trump. In your opinion, is there a possible similarity of motive?
(7) In July of 2018, the Dept of Justice informed the FISA Court, that despite the numerous material issues found by Inspector General Horowitz in the Carter Page FISA application, there was still sufficient predicate for the DOJ submission to the court.Β Excerpts of the letter below:
Mr. Durham, your recent report seemingly contradicts this July, 2018, letter as it was written to the FISA court almost two years after the original Carter Page FISA application was submitted.
β¦ Question: Is this letter truthful?
β¦ Question: As outlined on Page 8 discussing the April 02, and June 29, 2017 FISA renewals, is it true the FBI factually had no control over the Chris Steele “sub source” now identified as Igor Danchenko – a man you prosecuted?
β¦ Question: How do you reconcile the DOJ misleading the FISA court, in July 2018, about the substance of Carter Page FISA application?
(8) Ten days after the Dept of Justice sent this July 12th letter to the FISA Court, the Carter Page FISA application was made public (July 22, 2018).
β¦ Question:Β Who released the Carter Page FISA application?
β¦ Question:Β Given the Top Secret Compartmented and Classified nature of the application, FISA and the processes and systems therein, can you explain why the DOJ publicly released the Carter Page FISA application?
β¦ Question:Β During the course of your investigation, did anyone provide to you or your investigators evidence of corruption, false statements, illegal activity, or involvement by any members of the legislative branch of Congress, in the construct of the Trump-Russia collusion case that you did not pursue?
Sure. Just like Fed misdemeanors.
Hat-Tip to Sundance via Robert Barnes tonight on Bourbon with Barnes.
He likes your questions Sundance!
A lot of law breaking by the FBI and DOJ. Why no indictments?
Seriously?
You don’t know the answer at this point?
I know why, but Iβll have to ask Durham:
Mr Durham, at any point in your investigation did you sincerely attempt to do the job asked of you?
I would ask Durham one last question to really put him in the hot seat.
βDuring your entire investigation Mr. Durham did you uncover any evidence suggesting that President Trump committed any crimes if so what and did you uncover any evidence that any other person committed any crimes and if so who and what crimes did they commit?β
Sorry that is classified.
Next question.
So misleading the FISA court to obtain search warrants is not a crime? Why is that?
Sorry that is classified.
Next question.
I hear ya EZGoer….
The Director of Security for the Senate Special Intelligence Committee, James Wolfe leaked a CLASSIFIED/NO FORN Secret FISA document that had come directly from the secret FISA Clerk of Court, to Buzzfeed Magazine. Thought this was a crime too, however, Weissman withheld the evidence from the court and Wolfe was charged for lying to the FBI about “an affair” we are told. Wolfe leaked a known FISA Court Classified, National Security Document and he was never charged.
Why is that?
Did you review the Nunes Report, the Schiff Report or the report put out by the Senate?
If not, why?
Sorry that is classified.
Next question.
And so it goes on a neverending thread over, and over, and over…
Every time Black Rock’s minions (Congress) hold a hearing.
Round (blah blah) and round (blah blah) they go -in an eternal loop — Destination Nowhere.
They do manage the offshore accounts, book deals, speaking fees, etc. — quite nimbly.
If I hear “not my purview” tomorrow, I’m gonna retch…..

Here’s my question to Durham-
It seems that your chief prosecutor and lead FBI Agent neither of whom:
A: Had child who was killed in the Sandy Hook School Shooting.
B: Knew a child that was killed in the Sandy Hook School Shooting.
C: Was related to a child, teacher or employee who was killed, shot or injured in the Sandy Hook School Shooting.
D: Were able to convince a judge and jury that they had “STANDING” to sue the gun manufacturer and were entitled to be awarded a million dollar settlement.
Question- When did they have the time to actually investigate the matter you were assigned?
Sorry that is classified.
Next question.
I think you mean William Aldenberg being awarded $90 million in the Alex Jones Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit, which overlapped with the Durham investigation.
We understand that a bribe was offered by the FBI to corroborate the dossier. Is this standard practice in the FBI? Were any other bribes offered or paid?
Q:
Were you Mr Durham or any investigators in your Special Prosecutor Office offered and/or accept any bribes?
“I see my time has expired, Mr. Chairman. I yield.”
“The witness MAY answer the question, if they so choose.”
So discouraging to see this discussion, on a day where our executive crossed the Rubicon. The idea that laws and mores exist for our currently elected government is refutable with their own words and actions. We allow Biden to do what he wants. No protests, no marches in the street. He will keep governing this way until he can’t, and there are no signs we plan to slow him down. So when does the pushback come, and when will you wager to absorb that cost? We will not avoid the worst unless and until a significant group of Patriots change the calculus for Biden.
There was a time when I believed our government, elected officials, worked for we the people. That was a long long time ago. Not one of Sundance s questions will be asked. Nothing of substance will be answered. Iβm afraid that this will not end well. Just more bs.
Weβd have nothing to talk about if politics werenβt always bad news. Besides, itβs not like we are smart enough frogs to jump out of the increasingly hot water theyβve got us in. Enjoy the spa, the pain and suffering will all be over soon.
I remember a debate BINGO card being made with standard phrases The Kenyan like to use, so that we could have fun playing whenever he said one.
I think I will be playing BINGO tomorrow with your questions and the phrase “beyond my purview”.
Sundance apparently plays an attorney on TV and slept last night in a Holiday Inn.
/If only we could get him on as Grand Inquistor for the House Judiciary Committee!
And get him as one of Trumps lawyers…
Sounds like questions someone already knows the answer to. Manβs got to have a dream.
First rule of interrogation, never ask a question unless you are already sure of the answer.
And never frame the question as a yes or no answer. Best to start with βhow, when or why..β to that end, instead of βDid/ were you..β
Y’all realize that Durham is part of the coverup, right?
Well thats only fair, as the Republicons asking the questions, are the OTHER part of the coverup.
Dutchman , π!
Paired with Barr
Please send the questions to your US House Representative. Then ask for their response.
I would also focus on process questions. For example, βWeβve noticed that the Department selectively prosecuted crimes like βlying to the FBIβ. βWhy were Comey, Strzok, and McCabe, each of whom was determined to have βlacked candorβ not prosecuted when your office was presented with compelling evidence that they lied, repeatedly, to the DOJ IG and to Congress?β
I would also ask how many days after being appointed it took Durham to determine that the Russia investigation originated from the Clinton campaign. And ask what evidence he had that the Mueller/Weissman lacked when making that determination.
I would ask process questions that show the same corrupt actions used in the Russia hoax are being used to prosecute Trump – using process crimes to flip witnesses and take out lawyers representing Trump. Running the raid out if the DC office instead of local offices. That sort of thing.
Furthermore, we know that Weissman, Monaco, McCord and others from Russiagate are central players in the ongoing investigation and prosecution of Trump. I would ask pointed questions about the role each of these people played in the Russia hoax.
Itβs important that the House target specific DOJ employees. Then, when Durham is done, call Weissman, Monaco, and McCord to testify about their involvement in the Russia hoax. It probably took Durham about a week to determine the Russia hoax wasnβt properly predicated. Make Weissman explain why he was unable to make that determination when he had access to the same or more information. Then ask him why he ordered people to smash their phones..
The House needs to show that this is an ongoing conspiracy that Durham took no action to shut down.
Mr. Durham, did you investigate at all, the complicity of Congressional leadership, in any aspect of the planning, executing or covering up this coup attempt against a sitting POTUS, and if not, why not?”
Lol, thereβs a guaranteed no question.
Great questions!! Great start!!
Lord, please guide our congressional friends to read this article and follow through.
I live in western PA too. I do not think they read here.
live slightly to the south. no reading here, either. blithely into that dark night…
Sent entire article /questions to our Central AZ representative, Congresswoman Lesko.
The mainstream media barely covered this event; beginning with an attempt to overthrow and dispose of President Trump. We want answers from Durham; not what we already know. FBI, handling information accusing the sitting president of being a Russian agent; we want to know where did this information come from, specific sources and methods please, and how could those sources have known it. Those questions Durham failed to ask.
Why, (behind the timing of the Russiagate narrative), did Durham leave Clinton out of his questioning, albeit with the help of the court blocking such “non-relevant” lines of inquiry in Sussman’s trial which revealed revealed the extent of spying on Trump; in the mining the EOPβs DNS traffic and other data for the purpose of gathering derogatory information about Donald Trump.
Fact is, Durham never pursued the Joffe line. Who paid him? When did he start monitoring the Oval Office? What did he learn? When did he stop? Was any of the monitoring, likely unconstitutionally, shared with the FBI? Was the FBI aware of
the action and what, if anything, did they do to support it, profit from it, or try and limit it? Were Georgia Tech researchers culpable?
FBI – Pigs at the trough, and like Steele himself, never seriously questioned where the information they were acting on originated. Even in 2017 when the FBI learned the primary source was U.S.-based Danchenko, Crossfire Hurricane as the investigation into Trump was called, was allowed to proceed.
(Exactly) when did the FBI learn Steele’s near- only source was bogus? When did they learn Dolan was the
originator of the pee tape?
Why did they not conclude the investigation at that point?
How high up the FBI chain of command did knowledge of the lackadaisical sourcing by Steele go? Director Comey? If not, why not?
Is this why Comey was fired by Trump? The FBI was actively investigating the President of the United States as a Russian spy and Comey was not aware of the details?
As for sources, why was Steele himself never charged with anything? Steele, throughout most of Crossfire Hurricane, was on both Clinton’s payroll to create and disseminate false information, and the FBIβs to peddle the same falsehoods to them, all guaranteed by nothing more than his secret squirrel reputation as a British intelligence officer.

“Were Georgia Tech researchers culpable?”
Antony Blinken was the commencement speaker at Georgia Tech this year. Seems like something was going on.
Fauci was the commencement speaker at Emory last year. I need to quit
drinking the water in this state, because something’s in it.
Don’t Emory and the CDC have institutional affiliations?
Not absolutely sure. I believe that Yerkes Primate Center is at Emory.
If so, there’s cross pollination.
Emory and CDC are right down the street from each other. Literally
walking distance in some stretches.
Jim Jordan needs to be the one who asks Sundance’s last question- and ask it first. Don’t let Durham off the hook with this one….. Hell, the whole day should revolve around this question.
Btw, I expect a lot of βnot in my purviewβ responses to anything Mueller/Weissman did and a lot of βcanβt comment on an ongoing investigationβ re: Jack Smithβs politically motivated persecution of Trump.
To avoid that, ask questions about things Durham said were done wrong that perpetuated the hoax, and illustrate that the same things are being repeated today. By the same people.
And Weissman needs to be called to testify. He is obviously a central player in the current indictment. They need to get him on the record about his involvement in the Russia hoax. All of that becomes fodder for Trumpβs attorneys.
Like Ukraine, thereβs the lies people like Weissman spin on TV and then thereβs the sworn testimony that shows what the truth really is.
Snort. The day that Weissman is called to testify about anything will most likely never occur. I love pictures of him these days.
Seems like his Pinocchio nose is growing longer every day. That is what he gets for being a liar and undoing the lives of SO MANY.
He will reap what he sows.
Nevertheless, we should be demanding it. That guy is dirty, and simply making him answer for the hoax would be worth it.
Look folks only the 100% elimination of the 4th Branch will work.
Like cut the power and post guards.
Just short of biblical solutions. Which will come, but in God’s good time.
Any other ‘solution’ is just more lipstick on a pig.
Duram is just the most recent deep state pig.
One question: Why did it take almost three friggin’ years to get this report out so it would be after the 2020 and 2022 election??
I wouldnβt be surprised if his answer to each of them is βI donβt know what so and so was thinkingβ and βeverything I found is in the reportβ and βI donβt have any opinion. I just stated the facts as I found themβ
Someone should also ask Special Counsel Durham if he is married, and if so, what his spouse’s job is. There are way too many strategically employed spouses in D.C.
I already posted this elsewhere. Watch James O’Keefe’s expose on Black Rock. The employee being interviewed said it doesn’t take millions — a senator can be purchased for $10,000. Yesterday was the first installment.

Did he look into the inappropriate contacts Andrew McCabe had with Oleg Deripaska in 2008 and just before the 2016 election? Did you examine & investigate the off-site secret meetings held with Approx 12 FBI officials that were held even after Trump was inaugurated & seeking to overthrow a sitting president? That information was passed to him & I have yet to see action.
Itβs all a dog and pony show. Disgraceful.
Another lying swamp weasel.
Hillary Clinton has been proven to have started the hoax of Russia on Trump, but you call it “Trump-Russia collusion story.” Shouldn’t it rightfully be “Clinton-Russia Hoax? It seems the left always wins the language war and we play along.
Exceptionally savvy questions.
– Wonder how many will be asked of Mr Durham?
– If asked, “How many will be addressed in either an obtruse manner, circular word salad logic or pretending not to know?”
Here is my question, “Mr. Durham, if you would humor me for a moment, imagine yourself the third money on the gangplank of the Arch fighting for a place.
-“Who is it going be you or Mary or James, thrown off?
Heck, why not throw them both off and make a place for yourself and your mate praying you win.”
What is patently obvious is President Trump is, “He does not need a Pardon, He is owed an apology and so are us, the American people.”
I sat through the Watergate Hearings, the Clinton and his peepee Gate hearings, Iran Contra Gate Hearings, Benghazi Gate, Fast and Furious Gate, Russia Gate # 1,2,3, etc. Stormy Gate, and…
I tried to sit through this bogus crap. I just can’t do it anymore. This is b.s. Durham Gate.
