For financial context, remember Rupert Murdoch paid Megyn Kelly $15 million (Via Harper Collins) for the 2015/2016 operation against Donald Trump. Paying $60 to $100 million to get rid of Carlson’s antagonistic voice is small money to Murdoch Inc. in the grand scheme of things. [Murdoch has also paid for Ron DeSantis to oppose Trump]
Carlson will not be asked to sign an NDA, is not bound by a “non-compete” clause following the contract nullification by Fox Corp, and will be free to do anything he wants in any venture. Additionally, he will be free to say whatever he wants about the issues at Fox and speak freely, or not, without any legal or contractual constraints. Keep all of that in mind.
Prior to 2021, Tucker Carlson was what you might call a Fox News loyalist. He was very loyal to the organization. During the COVID-19 era, Tucker Carlson moved his physical location away from Washington DC to his home in Maine. Fox built him a studio, and Carlson manifest his own destiny free from most production constraints.
Over the past 18+/- months, viewers have watched Tucker Carlson essentially red pill himself each evening. Disconnected from the machine, free-range in his abilities, and with the intellectual curiosity of the average person, Tucker Carlson started to see the U.S. system as it is, not as media pretend it to be. This is the increasing red pill absorption you have noted daily. Along with that came a more pragmatic and brutally honest production quality to the content he shared.
Carlson’s influence grew as the audience grew; the more truth he spoke, the larger the audience. That free-range influence became a liability to the system operators that hold power, including Rupert Murdoch who is a part of that control system. In essence, and in the big picture, that’s what led to this event today.
Timing and Fox Digital. Fox had just settled a lawsuit with Dominion Systems that has been widely reported. The decision to fire Carlson had only one aspect connected to the Dominion settlement, financial timing.
Fox Corp is going to take a big hit in second quarter (Q2) earnings as part of the Dominion settlement. If you are going to take a big financial hit, it’s better to go ahead and clear the decks of all financial hits at the same time.
Paying out Carlson simply gets all the big hits in the same quarter.

Fox News has just torpedoed their anchor, shot their lead dog, destroyed the digital brand. That gives you some scale and scope to how the elements viewed the threat of influence that Tucker Carlson had become.
Fox Corp, and Murdoch’s stenographers at the Wall Street Journal (SEE HERE), will try to frame the Carlson firing as something of a palate cleansing. Claims of adversarial viewpoints, controversial views and conflicts with other Fox loyalists on the inside, will be used to frame the narrative. However, all of those false frameworks are just that, false. The source of the issue that led to the firing was 100% ideological.
During Tucker’s red pill absorption phase, he changed views on a variety of subjects from the FBI to the Fourth Branch of Government, to vaccination and COVID-19, to his views on Donald Trump as a disruption to an increasingly admitted corrupt political machine.
Context in the Tucker worldview expanded and he began to frame the conflict in a big picture of Good -vs- Evil. Unfortunately for Carlson, this view was from inside a multinational corporate system spreading the darkness. He had to be removed.

When host Steyn was offered a GB News contract months ago that stipulated he would have to pay all legal fees for any Ofcom censorship rulings, he quit as the network expected. Mark was a UK Tucker Carlson exposing uncomfortable truths and most of the GB News viewers of his most popular network show followed him to his website. GB News’ ratings have tanked to the lowest level since. There is no direct censorship on the net yet but of course Google etc. shadow bans and so on.
If not, Tucker can open his own website on Rumble etc. It would attract most or all of his Fox viewers, I suspect.

I wish I was shocked and surprised that PDJT was shocked and surprised, but for some reason I’m not.
A bit perturbed, somewhat bewildered, and shaking my head in what is becoming a familiar dismay? Sure.

I think everyone was just as suprised as President Trump, and some people do now pretend they’re smarter than he is.
I knew that Tucker’s job was not totally secure, but he had weathered all threads of boycotts and calls for him to be fired. He was Fox’ biggest asset. I will say: I was indeed shocked when I got the news, although that’s an emotional thing. On the rational side, I was aware that it could happen any day – and yet it still surprises you when it finally happens.
There are truths we know that he doesn’t. This is obvious. It doesn’t mean we’re smarter. It just means we’re privvy to knowledge, and analyses, to which he is somehow never exposed.
Which is why I wish, based on this opinion, that Sundance were made PJDT’s most trusted advisor.

Cut the cable. If you’ve cable, you pay Fox, any/all stations whether you watch ’em or not. Keep bare internet service. Get a Roku and do not supply a credit card. Tons of real news. The Idea
Go BIG on your strength. Use your your trove of research, your expertise in website administration, your inside knowledge of the swamp, and your incredible communication/writing skills to mastermind a full media solution with existing patriot networks. The idea is to not reinvent the wheel but rather use the wheel for different modes or outcomes.
The Problem
On a daily basis, chasing down multiple patriot news sources is inefficient for the end user who is challenged with adapting to multiple platforms, limited accessibility, varying rules, print vs. audio vs. video, etc. Reviewing multiple independent sources, although good initially for learning/screening and a necessity of limited options, eventually leads to preferred viewing lists of sites and news deciphering fatigue.
Solution Building Using the DNC Dynamic
• The DNC wants power.
• The DNC uses money to get power.
• The ideology of the DNC drives their donor activity
• The Left is pushing social and cultural ideology.
1) The MAGA movement is replete with its own ideology that is highly successful (as we know from the uniparty hating it). Lean in to the ideology and expand it 10x its current reach.
2) Offer a virtual spot for congregation of online writing leaders across the news spectrum – there are too many to list and other Treepers have identified many.
3) Embrace alternate influencers to challenge the status quo (e.g., Shellenberger and Matt Taibbi).
4) Create a Public Community Media “Bill of Rights” from the outset to encourage good outcomes, conscribe bad behaviors, and bounce infiltrators to the curb.
5) Make the new media network robust against the Intelligence Community by reinforcing the Public Community having a right to uncensored news. This is a cornerstone to the patriot ideology which the IC will want to crush. We need smart geeks that understand the workings of the IC.
6) Establish a mechanism to crawl through the internet for up and coming, fresh resources (people, tools, processes) that can be properly vetted for possible collaboration or use.
7) Use the MAGA ideology to involve and attract all patriots and wannabes with special events (e.g., countrywide patriot peaceful meetup events as indicated earlier). These special events should be fun and meaningful, encourage donor activity, and drive MAGA awareness to ultimately increase 1+1+1+… energy and power. As we know, MAGA needs to outlive Trump.
8) Find multiple ways to interact directly with the Public Community on a daily basis. Something more interesting than a polls-only approach would be necessary.
Solution Building Using the RNC Dynamic
• The RNC wants money.
• The RNC uses power to get money.
• The ideology of the donors drives the RNC ideology
• The right is seeking to gain money in (a) corporate alignment, or (b) velvet-gloved combat against it.
1) Power broke existing powerful sources in patriot media (e.g., Mike Lindell/FrankTV, Trump’s Truth Social, Bannon/WarRoom, Greg Hunter/USA Watchdog, James O’Keefe/OMG, etc.) to provide context and legitimacy of the new media network, if not full or limited partnership with it. There exist decent/good/successful platforms in the writing/audio/video space to target.
2) Approach Elon Musk to bypass traditional internet/television media solutions and find a way to leverage his Starlink satellite stuff.
3) Create interesting marketing angles for the new media network which would attract large money sources from corporations.
4) Investigate atypical revenue streams (e.g., Elon/Twitter) that retain centralized power (e.g., avoid lessons learned from Project Veritas). New solution cannot and should not compete with the government sponsored propaganda mainstream sources that are subsidized USD 1-2 MM daily.
5) Use new platform to spotlight non-patriot businesses that would be targeted for product/service boycotts. Apply opposite spotlight for buycotts of solid patriot companies (leverage PublicSquare?).
