I did not get to watch the House Judiciary Subcommittee testimony in real time because, well, life interrupts. However, I am catching up this evening. I find myself needing to draw attention to a particular brand of familiar bullsh*t from former DOJ Lawyer and current New York Freshman Representative Daniel Goldman.
In the exchange below, prompted to 10:55, notice how weasel Goldman posits the Mueller/Weissmann Special Counsel Russian indictments as some form of evidence that Russia (a) interfered in the election, and that Russia (b) hacked and dumped the DNC emails in 2016; neither of which is factually accurate….. but he blathers on.
Unfortunately, Taibbi and Shellenberger were not deep enough in the weeds back in 2018 to appropriately skewer Dan Goldman with the verbal takedown he deserved. What Goldman is saying is ridiculous, and he counts on people not knowing the details of the Mueller/Weissmann schemes.
Former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein held two big press conferences announcing indictments of Russian actors in 2018. One in February and one in July, both at critical moments for the fraudulent cover operation being done by Mueller. [Citation Here – And HERE – And Here]
These are the “indictments” Goldman cites. However, the indictments were sealed within the DOJ-National Security Division, specifically so that no one could deconstruct them. Goldman is asking Taibbi to read indictments that are not even possible to see. They never were. The only thing the public saw were Weissmann and team’s descriptions of the claims within the indictments we were never permitted to review…. because, well, national security. WATCH:
Insert the familiar and hilarious case of the Russian Concord Catering Company that was indicted. Yes, Mueller/Weissmann actually indicted a place that makes ham sandwiches. The correct “Concord” company eventually took the DOJ case to court and made fun of the stupid Amerikans so much the DOJ ended up dropping the case while claiming they would have to put national security at risk (sources and methods) if they took the case to trial.
In February 2018, they needed a big presser to get away from the Senator Warner texts with Adam Waldman (Oleg Deripaska, Dan Jones, Chris Steele et al), while simultaneously trying to run an operation to deflect attention from the FBI discovery of SSCI Security Director James Wolfe and his leaking of the FISA application. The February Russian indictments were intended to: (a) suck oxygen, (b) deflect from a collapsing Trump-Russia narrative (Nunes Memo), and (c) prop up the Mueller probe.
The July 2018 indictments of Russian Intelligence Officials, was even worse. This set [READ HERE] evaporated immediately following the press conference. The media ran with the narrative, yet there was nothing public that would ever support the indictments… because, national security. Seeing a pattern?
This is in the same July 2018 when the Mueller team publicly released the Carter Page FISA application, again another distraction and first ever release of a Top Secret Compartmented FISA warrant {eyeroll here}… that was already in the media hands from the soon to be made public James Wolfe indictment. This is the exact same time when the Mueller team told the FISA court that the predicate for the FISA warrant was structurally sound. It wasn’t.
Both the February and July 2018 Russian indictments were indictments (accusations) in name only. None of it was pursued except by the Russian Concord group who wanted to go to court to embarrass the Mueller probe… which was the real motive for the DOJ dropping it. Daniel Goldman knows all of this.

anecdote: what I have learned with my own research…is that while some sobering and awful details don’t always create the right timing or relevance to the issue at hand…KNOWING THESE DETAILS gives me the arc of patterns and trends to know my sniffer instincts are correct and close to target.. But I also believe there is something else…not magic…not some special gift…or even any particular talent. just an interest to know the truth. I mean, really and maybe I just speak for myself. but there is something very good …something very satisfying…exhilarating…positive…when learning a truth…and the harder the hunt, the more rich the experience.

I had an excellent professor, Bill Rood, who required much digging (the end-of-semester report was a list of 20 items, and we were to identify as many as we could and report back as much as we could, and we were allowed to use other professors as resources; if we found 2 we were doing well; I had to contact the ambassador for Djbouti for obscure questions to confirm that he had no way of finding out); and another professor, my advisor, who had been a congressional legislative assistant, who required we understood how legislation was created and passed (and we had to skim the federal budget).

Wish I could remember the details of that, because it did show how off base Rosenstein and his crew were with those indictments of people who could never be actually tried in a court of law; plus it was almost criminal the humor that lawyer used in responding to the indictment.

Goldman classically starts with a compound question: ‘do you disagree with the indictments that definitely demonstrate russian involvement’.
When presented with a sophomoric trick question like that the witness should ask for the question to be repeated, then write it out on notepad and parse the question deliberately and laboriously, ask the questioner what exactly he means (I’m confused by your question, are you asking me two separate items in a single question, etc)

“have you been contacted by a member of this committee”..or other variations such as
“been in contact with xx party (where x – is expected to be some party that is assumed to be non neutral and/or biased or who has some alleged liabilty” ?
notice that.
what they are looking for is not really that the testimony provided has not been tainted, but to determine just how well prepared the witness is…and how to exploit that.
it’s a cheap trick.
my reply would be: it’s none of your business who I may or may not have talked to. This is not a trial and I have not been accused or investigated of any crime or misconduct. I talk to ANYONE I WANT TO TALK TO.
It’s really one of the frustrating aspects of watching these committees use cheap intimidations …and nearly all of them do it..both sides. Congress can’t seem to get that part right. Witnesses before committees..even under subpoena are not under any force of law to disclose who or what or whom they may have or have not talked to.
THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO ARE UNDER LAW AND REGULATION TO BE TRANSPARENT AND DIVULGE ARE FEDERAL EMPLOYEES< AGENCY HEADS< DIRECTORS< STAFF< DEPUTIES/CHIEFS, Secretaries. The lawful exercise of oversight LAWS demands those federal people be completely transparent and open about who they talk to.
for ordinary citizens..THE PEOPLE..and especially those protected under press protections, such as these two men, there is not law, regulations, policy or any force that these committee members can use to force them or to intimidate them to speak to whom they have discussed in preparing for the their testimonies.
For ONCE, I would like this matter settled out in the open and have congress be put in its place. And make it a violation of rules to any member who intimidates or attempts to trick of force a PERSON..a witness who is not of the federal government to talk about whom they talk to.

Goldman owes Biden for his multimillion dollar Stock payoffs from 2020-2022 which Biden laundered to him by reversing policies on Oil and war/ defense stocks… knowing that it would inflate the equities Goldman owned. Why else would Goldman be coming to Biden’s defense on him pressuring Ukraine to fire a prosecutor (who wasn’t compromised, or controlled by Biden and Obama.) of whom was investigating his sons employer for corruption.

Democrats tend to rely on their base trusting the CNNs and MSNBCs of the world for all of their information thereby keeping them embedded on the plantation in the sheep pasture. Goldman is no different and also subscribes, as most Democrat tyrants do, to their commonly held notion that if you tell a lie often enough and loudly enough, people will not question it and will even defend it blindly.
One of my favorite diversions of the Democrat oligarchy is the use of “fact” checkers. The “fact” checkers must go to Cracker Barrel and sit in one of the rockers and toss the checkers into the air twice. On the first toss, they count the number of crowns up on the black checkers and multiply by 10. Then they toss the red checkers and add the number to the black checker multiple. This becomes the reference point for the “fact” numbers! Makes perfect sense. Why count the crowns? Far too many Democrats believe themselves to be “king” makers and believe that they, and only they, should and do possess the keys to the kingdom (USA).
You must give Democrats credit for two things: self-assurance and unity. Democrats are nearly perfectly aligned in the belief that they are all knowing and the keepers of all knowledge. This self-assurance leads to their hypocritical proclamation of being “for the people”. Nothing could be farther from the truth. The only people they are “for” are those in power and control. The rest are the serfs of the kingdom. As for unity, once the true controllers of the Democrat oligarchy settle on a plan, 99% of the party faithful (including most in Congress) fall in lock-step with the tyrants at the top!
You have to love how they keep trying to re-invent the wheel. They have used Russia, Russia, Russia even though they have been proved to have lied through their teeth. Undeterred, they drag it back out every few months just to see if it will fly this time! Goldman is a good soldier. He will carry out orders even with the full knowledge that the Nuremburg trials proved that “following orders” will not keep you from the death penalty when it comes to crimes against humanity. Republicans don’t have that kind of blind loyalty from half of their politicians. Too many of them carry weighted coins for tossing on what measures to support–and those coins will always land on what benefits the politician financially and for power. The proof came Tuesday morning first thing when the traitorous Republican Senators came out and criticized Tucker Carlson for revealing the truth in the videos. I hope that some of them realized the error of their ways when Bennie Thompson admitted that the J6 committee members did not watch the videos except for those provided them by USCP. 14000 hours out of 44000 hours with most of them from outside the Capitol and mostly led by FBI controlled implants or active agents. The vegetables who listen only to the MSM will never know all the facts. They will only know the Demo-“facts”. The FACTS they get come from the real FACisTS!!!!!
