I do not have enough information about J6 to decide whether you just hate McCarthy or whether you actually think more than a few Americans would even be interested in these videos more than two years down the road from J6, or both. But, before trashing McCarthy, remember that he did not incarcerate about 1000 Americans in Kafkaesque style in a DC jail. That was the doing of Obama’s sock puppets at the White House and the DC Swamp.
Logically, McCarthy has not accomplished much in two months on this job, but he has a lot of crap to sort out and nothing but a bunch of politicians to help him get the job done. In releasing the videos broadly, you can be certain the “anons and autists” of the world would be drilling through these tapes and finding things that Tucker’s small team would likely miss. In a 60 hour work week, how much of 40,000 hours can one person review properly? Even a team of two, or three or ten?
it’s about transparency, and ultimately, accountability. Seems to me that McCarthy is failing somewhat on the first. It remains to be seen if there is ever any accountability. However, accountability is awfully rare in DC.

I like this idea too. Musk using a few journalists like he did seemed to be effective. Mass release is probably not a good idea until afterwards. Too many saboteurs and agent provocateurs which is what this whole thing is about.

Frankly I think McCarthy made the right call on this. This could be more effective way to disseminate the video. My problem with a mass release is the enemy will feed over zealous internet sleuths bad information to discredit all of it. We have seen this time and time again. We should give it a chance and after TC is done then demand its release.

Have you ever seen the Fox Nation video produced by Tucker Carlson about January 6, which uses and interviews Darren Beattie. I think that you would agree after seeing it that TC doesn’t subscribe to the narrative the Democrats have pushed.
In the video above, he says that the powers that be “are lying and we know they are lying because we’ve seen the tape”.
His remarks after J6 and especially about the election results indicate otherwise. I do think he is revealing a lot of good information to people not as educated and/or as thoughtful as we are (greatly due to Sundance’s tutelege). But I do think it is controlled and possibly not really a part of Tucker’s inner beliefs – I catch it from time to time especially in what he doesn’t say or doesn’t ask or follow up on.
Even if Tucker’s videos have to pass a Fox gatekeeper, they are still helpful for Americans to get around the Narrative. Trump seems to like him, and that’s all I care about.

There has been reporting that the tapes will not be completely available. The viewing MUST be on capitol grounds. NO one will be allowed to copy or record any of the carefully redacted parts of the videos. It is a lie that the videos have been released. Some sort of lame reason given by the REPUKE committee overseeing the video issue has something to do with national security. AND what the committee doesn’t redact, fox news will fill in.

I’m not sure I fully trust a bunch of producers (and likely some temp-hires) to comb through that vast amount of hours of footage and to honestly flag anything that could be important. I hope no one actually believes that Tucker himself is trawling through this footage. It’s simply far too much for even a small team to go through in any reasonable amount of time.
The only way to get this footage accurately analyzed in a timely fashion, and to make sure important footage doesn’t get “glossed over” and forgotten is to have the rag-tag, taciturn, weaponized autists at 4Chan go through it. It needs to be released to us all in full.

I hate that Kevin McCarthy, acting on behalf of the U.S Government, gave Tucker Carlson and Fox News special access to the January 6 CCTV footage.
I would feel this way regardless of what media personality or outlet was given special access to this footage. This is not a personal attack on Tucker who is the only mainstream media personality that even remotely reports the truth about the deep state.
This footage should have been provided directly to the public by placing it online for the general public to access.
This footage belongs to we the people. It is not the property of government insiders to give to whatever news outlet they perceive as being friendly to their interests. That is cronyism and represents the withholding of public information only to be given out to political insiders.
After Tucker gets his headlines, when are we the People gonna get full access to it? To download, to access, etc?
