I THINK one of the reasons we saw so much $, so quickly transferred out of the country and to Ukraine, was that they knew the history of U.S. Citisens support for foreign adventurism, may start high, but then generally erodes over time.
So, they are shoveling the $ out the door, just as fast as they can, knowing eventually the gravy train will end.

Th preponderance of evidence is that way over 100,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed and that’s just so far in the last year. That’s way more than we, a much larger country, lost in Vietnam during the whole war.

Huh? There is a lot of coverage from the front. AP, CNN, and other Fake News media is on the ground. Pro-Ukrainian journalists report on what they are allowed to tell. There are tons of pro-Russian journalists on the ground, but they seldom show film because of the danger of identifying military troops, locations, weapons used, numbers of troops, etc.
I think that maybe you misunderstand the nature of this war. There is very little to see that would get viewers attention. Muddy fields, armored vehicles travelling from one place to another. The artillery shooting at them is too far away to be seen and artillery shooting can’t see with a camera the people being shot at. There are lots of dead bodies and burned out husks of equipment. It is extremely dangerous for a reporter to be embedded with a group of troops on the front line.
