Perhaps I am wrong, but the tone, disposition and presentation of this monologue by U.K. News pundit Neil Oliver, suggests to me that he is under pressure or threat due to his open commentary supporting a resistance uprising against the ruling class.
Within his weekly outline, there is a notable change in tone from Mr. Oliver as he outlines those voices that have been targeted by censorship, deplatforming and ongoing threats by western aligned media doing the bidding of their government overlords. Perhaps Mr. Oliver has finally found himself in the crosshairs of the system which will not permit public dissent. WATCH:

Most of those of us (including Limbaugh) who initially backed Cruz thought DJTrump was just grandstanding and seeking publicity (something he had a long history of doing) after which he’d find a reason to drop out….just as he did in 2012.
When Trump persisted and won several primaries, that’s when those of us who had initially supported Cruz (as not being ideal, but being the most conservative of the batch of RINOs who were running) understood Trump was serious and his messaging was far better than in 2o12. Limbaugh experienced the same change of mind that many of us did.
Levin had too big an ego to admit he was wrong. Limbaugh was very open and forthright about his change of support as it occurred, and rapidly became Trump’s most vocal and adamant supporter among conservative broadcast media pundits.
Never openly supported Cruz, but didn’t hesitate to openly support Trump when I did switch to him. The only candidate I ever gave a penny to support and did it or over a year. Will never do it again either after finding that a part of what I had ‘given’ to Trump went to the r.n.c. for candidates that they chose. That is when I quit giving, but never have quit supporting Trump and what he had and has done for America. Not a believer in the “group” that was supposed to be supporting Trump
Yes. I think each of us came to support DJT at different times after he came down the escalator in 2015. Some signed on early; others at different times during the primary campaigns. But many converted to supporting DJT after he proved his seriousness by winning multiple important primaries. I had voted for Cruz via early absentee ballot in the Maryland primary which was in April, but was very happy that DJT won MD by a large margin. I was a bit puzzled why Kasich beat Cruz by a few % points, but later figured that was a splitter vote by RINOs or Dimms who switched registration to vote against Trump.
Didn’t hesitate to mock Trump at every opportunity.

He also helped millions recognize the BS propaganda coming from the “Drive By Media”, as he called it. And later, he was wise to the hypocrisy of the GOPe, the Washington DC Establishment (Uniparty), and called them out as well.
For millions of listeners who had never otherwise been schooled in the realities and contradictions of U.S. politics, he was our “primary school” teacher.
That he was so entertaining while he schooled us was his “magic”; his special appeal that endeared him to tens of millions of loyal listeners. And why the Left hated him, constantly misquoted him, and tried unsuccessfully to destroy him during his entire career.
He never claimed to be anything more than what he was, which is another reason people loved him – his absence of hubris or ego. He even mocked it – “with half my brain tied behind my back, and talent on loan from God-d” just to trigger the self-important, academically & intellectually superior (or so they think they are), hubris-laden lefties who were listening.
So – to anyone else who wants to dump on Limbaugh in this thread – spare us any lectures about Limbaugh’s imperfections and shortcomings. “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” Rush attracted at least 20 to 30 million listens every week on average to a highly successful and highly profitable radio show. Unless you have done equally as well or better in that industry, sit back down.

I miss Rush every day. I often say to my husband that I don’t think that Rush knew how bad it all was until the last year or so. He used to have the GOP Presidential candidates on his show, and they would just give a few platitudes for that day to appease us. I agree with you, AMJEAN. We also had no one else from which to choose in the 2000, 2004, 2008, and 2012 elections. We had to be satisfied with Bush because there was no one else, and we didn’t really know better.

Rush was an entertainment element of the conservative movement, not the Oracle of Delphi. He existed as a place for conservatives to examine viewpoints and was not a visionary of the right any more than Al Franken epitomized, well, anything intelligent.
Rush also changed radio and media. There are SO many conservative voices (of different value and caliber), but hardly any existed before he broke the mold.
George Putnam is the first TV personality that I remember sometimes giving on air editorials from a conservative view point, but he wasn’t a hard core conservative.

I admit that I did initially think that the Afghanistan War was justified self-defense where the U.S. military would eliminate the people and organizations responsible for 9-11.
When it became evident that the Afghanistan War was a never-ending quagmire designed to enrich the military industrial complex and was not justified self-defense, I turned against it as it was obvious it was an unnecessarily protracted, unjustified waste of human life like the Iraq War.

The American Revolution and other guerrilla movements have proven several things. First, guns are essential but they aren’t the only weapon that harm the State. Second, a war of words and unarmed J6 type protests will not do it. The tyrants will just ignore them. Third, it doesn’t take a large percentage of the population to stop tyrants, if they’re willing to stand up and fight by every means available. Just a few percent would be enough. Fourth, small encounters can quickly grow beyond the means of the authorities to deal with them. Fifth, small unit tactics can be very effective in disrupting the State, and they don’t require overall command and control. The success of the Swamp Fox could be our inspiration for that. Sixth, the tyranny’s elites are vulnerable. They are the weak point and should be attacked to defeat the State. Like wise, the military/police forces of the country should be intimidated into inaction by whatever means are necessary. And finally, the righteousness of the cause is important. If we demand just two things … elections that we can trust and equal treatment under the law for ALL citizens … it’s hard for the other side to argue against those things.

I think there’s an important difference between the Rhodesian Bush War and what would be this conflict. This conflict would take place not in the bush but in cities, making it almost impossible for the State to employ the tactics used successfully by the State in the RBW. This would not be a war for independence but for control of what exists. So the State forces would find it very hard to protect their families and those of the elites because they are distributed among us and they depend on us for food, electricity, water, sanitation, etc.

It’s time to intimidate them enough to back down, to reverse their course, and I think we can succeed in that because they, more than we, NEED their lives of luxury … and that is what they risk above all else if we fight.
I have been saying this on this site (previous platform) since I found it; I referenced the battle of Athens, many of the founders. I was told by many here to stand down — and indeed, as Neil says, one of the weapons is that the Conservative Treehouse was “deplatformed”, and we remain in danger of being suppressed again.

I have taught so many young people that were clearly intelligent, sensitive, creative and rationally minded and were lower level students solely because of the education system and culture at large abusing them.

You see, the terrible point in this current Western situation of government is that the current state of things is historically unprecedented as to who the real tyrants are. It is the intelligentsia. So, with them in charge, who is going to intellectually assist humanity in establishing a truly decent, sensibly functioning and fair system of government.
In the past, and up until about the election of 2008, the intelligenstia, at pretty-much all all levels, sought to undermine the tyranny of dictator-like governments and monarchies: real, and sometimes imagined (Reagan and Thatcher for example, were not dictators but always portrayed as such).
It seemed then that the intelligentsia were humanists, wanting the best for the world and its people. They wanted peace (enemies were just a political construct); they sought openness and freedom of expression (demonisation of the “other” was yet another vicious tool which they would never never use); they had all our interests at heart, and respectful plurality was the way ahead, we were told.
It was all a trick to gain political power. Now, the intelligentsia are the actual day-to-day tyrants-though they work for an uber rich class of reptiles. These little monsters seem to enjoy being the vicious and unreasonable shock troops for that said reptile class. They support any mega-rich movie or TV star, sports star, rock star, business star, hedge-fund star or tech star that supports their position as being an intelligent and informed creature. It is a loop of sorts. The intelligentsia en-masse promote the bureaucratic policies, healthcare polices, enforcement policies and educational policies with all the earnestness and vigour of a group-paddling; demanding that we ask “Please sir, can I have some more?” as they victimize us for our own good.
So. It was they who were the sick, twisted and weird bullies, in fact, not the ones they incessantly demonised and vilified.
But you can see that their role was to enlighten the masses against power abuse, and they used their granted role to gain the upper hand, and then turned the tables on the people. They bully us. They control all branches of the system. So, there is no one left to lead, no intelligentsia left to awaken us to rise-up, as the intelligentsia have been gleefully co-opted by the system with financial rewards far beyond the difficult of their employment and engorged with self-justified sanctimony far beyond their level of morality.
In short, “we have no brains” and people who lose their heads generally don’t know what to do. For me, this is the greatest wonder??? Humanity (including those they profess to care about) has never been abandoned so completely by the lower, mid and upper intelligentsia, in such unision, historically, and so, I see no path out, except perhaps for them getting a darn good paddling. They really need some self-doubt, some humility or they and we are all doomed at this point.

Tolerance from the word tolerate, one meaning is to permit or allow.
Condescending and politicized if tolerate is used in that sense. If we are all equal we respect the rights of others exactly the same as we cherish our own. Christ defined this as love one another which certainly encompasses respecting one another.

Socialism depends upon divisiveness to reduce everyone to a serf except the very few. Communism/fascism must first destroy such as South Africa or Venezuela.
The founders missed the opportunity, and knew it, when forming the country even though in Virginia for instance equal rights were attempted to be applied to all peoples regardless of race.
A further twist is applying the concept of equal rights to the illegal immigrant question. They have a right to be treated as fellow humans but do not have the inherent right of citizenship as again the marxists maintain.

A while back he hinted that there’s nothing government can do if people en masse did not pay taxes. Today he suggests jury nullification. It’s not subtle, so I don’t think he is pulling punches as you suspect.

What’s odd to American ears about Neil Oliver’s rant is that Britain’s constitution is uncodified:

Seems like Neil Oliver’s interpretation of parliamentary sovereignty is more restricted than what recent British governments have asserted, which mirrors the habitual overreaching of the US Congress.

You may be able to speak softly if you’re carrying a big stick, but in our case the governments are carrying the stick to threaten us, and all we have are our voices.
That’s may be true in the UK, but we in America do have a big stick. It’s called the Second Amendment. It’s an even bigger stick than the government has, if push comes to shove.
It won’t be much of a protection if they pick us off one by one. With all those government agencies arming themselves, and the police, and the national guard, and the four service branches, all weaponized against us, I see armed resistance leading to a lot of Ruby Ridges. On Jan. 6 Pelosi wondered where the tanks were—and those protestors weren’t even armed. Those in thrall to the globalists would have no hesitation about turning U.S. firepower against the citizens.

That’s why I’ve been saying we need to use it NOW in mass protests (of millions) protected by people exercising their right to carry arms for just the purpose the Founders intended.
As for U.S. firepower, most of that firepower would be useless against us, assuming that right now the other side could even depend on it not being turned against them if push came to shove.
Tanks don’t do well in urban environments unless they the are willing to destroy much of that environment, which might not be the case here since that environment is where most of the Biden supporters and government agents, police, and military live with their families. Same goes for the airplanes and nukes that Biden boasted about recently.
So it would come down to foot soldiers and relatively ordinary guns. And the truth is we easily outnumber them … maybe 10 or 20 to 1, should fighting start. And if just 3 or 4 percent of the armed populace in this country were to take to the streets, we’d outnumber ALL the federal agents, police AND military combined, assuming, as I said, all of them would even show up. But they wouldn’t. And some would join us.
And it’s not just the gun owners that’s are a problem for them. We The People own 400 to 500 million guns. That means there are many spares that could be distributed to currently unarmed citizens … which means the size of our armed resistance to such an extent they’d be outgunned many, many times over. You think that wouldn’t have a sobering effect on what the military was willing to do for the UNIPARTY and Joe Biden?
Furthermore, many unarmed people would likely join protestor ranks, making it hard to identify who is armed. The question is, is the American military now so woke they’d shoot down anyone on the streets … maybe some of their own family? Because many of their family members can’t be happy with what’s happening now. Maybe that would cause them to stand down … tell their leaders to take a hike.
And as I’ve pointed out previously, many other things can be made deadly besides guns. You think our side would be incapable of using knives, building bombs and IEDs, creating poisons, using drones, and printing 3D weapons that they couldn’t even detect? We are not as helpless as you suggest.
I believe a MASSIVE show of armed WILL … not nviolence … is essential if we’re going to prevent eventual violence. We need to convince the elites and their lackeys … in a VISCERAL way… that we will seriously threaten their lives of luxuries, and the lives of they and and their families, if they don’t stop this attempt to subjugate us. For their own good, they need to restore and respect the Constitution And Bill Of Rights as they were written. Anything less is not acceptable. Anything less is not going to work.
Massed protests will show that more than a few of us are willing to fight. A demonstration … a statement … they can’t possibly ignore or dismiss. It will show them that it is *we* who control the food, water, power, sanitation, transportation systems, medical system, communication systems, distribution networks, … everything that makes society function … that makes their lives of luxury possible. And it will show them that we are everywhere … where they work, where they live, where they send their kids to school, where they vacation. If this blows up, they won’t be able to hide from us and that alone *might* be enough to halt this slide into 1984.
