When we are intellectually honest with each other, we accept the traditional Republican apparatus has always been in favor of Wall Street interests, multinational corporations, multination trade agreements, offshoring jobs, overseas manufacturing, open borders to provide endless supplies of unskilled service workers to fulfill their affluent needs, and, in the most general sense, economically no different than the traditional Democrat apparatus. After all, both wings of the DC UniParty feed from the same trough.
The counter economic position to this multinational system has always been the America First outlook. An economic outlook that puts the U.S. worker at the heart of policy. Perhaps encapsulated by saying ‘Main Street over Wall Street’ etc.
It was also the economics of the thing that created the Bernie Bros (Bernie Sanders) and the MAGA team (Donald Trump) commonality.
As a result, the Big Club distraction and distinction game has always been played on the field of social issues. Social issues continually used as a wedge to keep the working class from recognizing their common assembly.
Skilled politicians, those tenured in the ways of the club power retention, play up the social stuff publicly, while both wings of the UniParty give a wink and a nod to each other as they pass through the halls. The “reach across the aisle” code of Omerta exists.
I have no idea how the pragmatic and angered view of President Trump, with full intent to fracture this UniParty apparatus, is going to play out. Fighting both enemies simultaneously has proven to be a massive whac-a-mole undertaking. However, that said, what is abundantly clear is the reassembly of the group trying desperately to block the populist upheaval.
The Multinational corporations are all-in within the process of this inverted Fascism. Corporations now determining the political agenda, and it’s not just here in the United States. We are seeing in in North America, Great Britain and throughout Europe. The larger “western democracy” assembly is expanding the corporate dynamic, while media run cover for the totality of modern expansion.
Specifically in the United States, we can clearly see the K-Street multinational lobbying groups trying to exploit the outcome of a midterm election they helped construct.
(Politico) The conservative Club for Growth is sending a warning shot at former President Donald Trump on the eve of his expected 2024 campaign launch — and indicating it might back his chief potential rival, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. […] provided POLITICO with a polling memo showing the former president trailing DeSantis by double digits in one-on-one matchups in Iowa and New Hampshire. (read more)
The transparency of the timing, amid an election outcome they helped create, is remarkable.
The CfG corporate folks are not good people, and CTH will battle them at every level as we have every moment in the past decade. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is not my/our enemy; however, if he aligns his political interests with the attempted refooting of the multinationals in the Republican party, then he has made a choice.
I am not going to draw a distinction between a group of multinational corporations who wants to diminish Main Street USA, and a potential ally who would align with them for political convenience. Pick up a weapon from inside the multinational armory and you become an America First enemy.
Align with The Big Club, and you are aligned with The Big Club.
Align with The Big Club, and you have chosen to align with The Big Club.
( Business Insider) – Plans for a Super PAC supporting a Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis presidential run are back on after a weak showing for former President Donald Trump’s favored candidates.
This is a reversal from just a few months ago. GOP strategist John Thomas, who is leading the soon-to-be unveiled super PAC called Ron to the Rescue, told Insider in August that DeSantis should not run for president against Trump. He’d even paused plans for the super PAC this summer after the primaries, in which Trump’s endorsed candidates did well. Trump, apparently pleased, shared the Insider interview on Truth Social.
But Thomas, founder and president of the political advertising and strategy group Thomas Partners Strategies, told Insider on Friday that the midterms have reset the calculus. Even in August, he’d said the one caveat for DeSantis pursuing a 2024 presidential run would be poor performance for Trump-favored Republicans in the midterms.
That caveat became reality on Tuesday. In addition to Trump’s weak showing, DeSantis won Florida by a historic, nearly 20-point margin that Thomas called “the perfect cascading of events politically for the governor.” Now, Thomas told Insider, his plans for the Super PAC are back on “full throttle with seven-figure gifts” and the group is ready to “get this show on the road.” (read more)
A presidential Super PAC does not exist without the approval of the candidate who it represents.
“Ron to the Rescue” does not exist without the group representing the interests contacting the people in/around Ron for approval of the creation. It’s just how the system operates. Super PAC’s cannot go out and solicit funds from supporters without gaining prior approval from the candidate network to make those contacts. It is a basic rule of fundraising, even amid the nudge, nudge – wink, wink, of Super PAC creation and plausible deniability.
If a Super PAC was fundraising for a candidate objective – and that candidate did not support the objective – the Super PAC doesn’t happen. Quite simply, this unspoken code exists so that donors do not get bilked out of their money by Super PAC’s being deceptive in their representation.
If a multinational Wall Street DeSantis 2024 Super PAC launches, it is with the support of Ron DeSantis, period.
New readers should be well aware, CTH is not going to play the pretending game.
It was the Toujours-Half-And-Half BS that redpilled me a long time ago and set me to digging and listening to people I might have previously ruled out. The constant massaging of election outcomes so that every single one is a squeaker…but only in seats the Dems strategically need to hold on to their power.
I had enough probability statistics under my belt even in my early 20s to know that a string of constant 50.0001 to 49.9999 outcomes is as unlikely as 3 a.m. drops in 2020 of 100,000 votes only for Biden. Numbers don’t work that way, and when we see them appear like that in the business/finance world, we launch fraud investigations immediately.
But I blame the Republicans. They bent over in 1982 and agreed to let Dems steal elections forever. Look up the Consent Decree, whereby the GOP was so scared of being called Waycissts that the agreed not to question the results of Dem wins even where it was clear that voter fraud was likely by either direct observation, or by statistical analysis of fraud that we routinely apply to financial transactions.
The 1981 lawsuit was called iirc DNC/NJ DSC versus Hurtado et al., then the 1982 Consent Decree happened under St. Reagan.
The GOP literally agreed not to contest elections due to suspected or even demonstrable fraud in any district with a “demonstrable proportion” of blacks and browns—though what that proportion was, was never defined. Thus the Dems had absolute free reign to commit massive voter fraud in any area where they’d settled a ton of their plantation pets.
If that’s not appalling enough, the GOP agreed EVERY YEAR, IN COURT, BEFORE A JUDGE to this. EVERY YEAR. There was even a judge who came out of retirement EVERY YEAR to hear it. Again and again and again. Dickinson Deveboise.
Donald Trump put an end to that in 2017. But till then, for over three decades, EVERY YEAR, the Republicans grabbed ankles for the professional racists at the DNC. While telling some of you how very very REPUBLIC-AN the GOP was, they were agreeing to let Dems run rampant using racism as the tool for power. Two parties with one goal alone: money and power, and keeping people on plantations as a kind of Babylonian slave continually flogged with psyops coming out of the top floor of the temple where the high priests read entrails of dead things.
I’d say “look it up” but blogposts etc. related to the 1982 Consent Decree have been purged over the past 10-15 years. There might be something still out there, but good luck finding it with search engines. There are court cases you can find if you’re a practiced digger. I haven’t been able to archive those because they are PDFs, which archiving sites don’t like to pick up, or they appear on sites that block archiving.
I throw up a little in my mouth every time I see GOPe shills in these and other pages, pumping the BS that we need to vote Republican.
The Republican Party hasn’t been about the republic since well before they let the MSM crucify President Richard Nixon, whom a wide/diverse range of Americans elected in 1972 with FIVE HUNDRED AND TWENTY ELECTORAL VOTES.
Then the supposedly G supposedly O party sat back and let the (((MSM))) destroy that man, one of the best presidents ever, and his memory, and the massive majority of voters who supported him. And the GOP’s conniving tapeworms like Petey Ryan and Karl Rove and Mitt Romney honk on about Muh Freedom, while grooming in the mirror to go on whatever media clown shows their idiot cultists watch.
And now we’re supposed to worship at the altar of Muh Tucker…who shills for WEF bots and simply won’t touch topics like the above.
I am SICK of it. SICK. And I am sick of Treehouse people who line up behind this vile vile party, which has done more to ruin the lives of hard working Americans than the Dems ever could, because the GOP poses as poor downtrodden brave warriors fighting the big commie menace.
There is NOTHING more communist than US Big Ag and Big Pharma. It’s NOT fascism. Not at all. It’s state sponsored cartels that farm people like livestock. Driving Americans against each other with their vile vicious psyops, and, as needed, mass murders via isolation, injection, drugging, whatever. They feed you literal industrial waste, tarted up with fancy packaging, and have the cojones to tell you it’s “food.” Then when you get sick from playing LITERAL consumers of trash, they profit on your suffering and illness. And tell you how healing isn’t a good profit model.
And when you start to wake up to this, and experience the psychological distress of seeing all the pieces fall into place that your fragmented, beaten psyche has never put together before? They give you legal pot, and hard liquor in the supermarket, and if that doesn’t keep you numb, they put heroin on the streets, and if you avoid that they tell you you’re “mentally ill,” and hand you over to the Priests of Mindf**k and their god awful prescriptions that ruin your brain.
Well, I know this comment won’t get through moderation. I’m not lockstep marching with Big Globo. Whatever. You lugals and high priests and war pigs could have let the dream of my ancestors flow through The People. But you block it as you always blocked it in your Babylonian-roots institutions and power blocs. I curse you, and I curse your descendants. And as you hold DOOM and CHAOS and all that over our heads, I laugh in your face. My ancestors thrived despite multiple Ice Ages. You can’t even survive Costco running out of toilet paper. You build doom estancias all over the world for your panicked retreat. My people thrive in Hell, and anyway Our Father defeated it with his death and resurrection.
It’s way past time to stop playing the government game.
It’s way past time for rational people to turn their backs on the pretense of telling others what they must do for their own goods, for thinking “right” and “reality” are found in numbers of people voting for some pretender or other. The pendulum, in reality, is always swinging back and forth, and each time it cuts deeper and deeper. That’s the reality.
To pretend otherwise is to cooperate in your own enslavement and suicide of self, rights, dignity, and freedom.
Human government is a sham, a pretense, in the name of justice and “the common good.” The reality is, no matter its label or sacred existence, it is injustice, murder, mayhem, chaos, stupidity, evil, and enslavement.
So how about we actually do stop pretending and actually pursue reality without human government of the few rulers robbing and murdering and lying, preying on, the rest of us?
There is a much better way, but the reality is that it is not found in human rulership.
Great analysis as always, except I don’t share the implied optimism that it’s fixable. They killed the red tsunami and so the threat of overthrow in the short term is neutralized. Now nothing can stop their consolidation of power and removal of MAGA leaders/influencers from the battlefield at a dramatically faster pace (enter the newly mobilized 87K IRS storm troops) — except for the Trump judges, which threat can also be neutralized if they “Scalia” Clarence Thomas and put Roberts back in the swing-vote seat at SCOTUS. I’d love to be wrong, and we can’t stop fighting in any case, but I think we need to adjust our perspective and strategy to start building a French Resistance movement to fall back to if the civil war in the 2024 GOP primary shatters the MAGA movement, which looks likely at this point. Only a fealty pledge by DeSantis to Trump on the grounds that a Trump second term is his by right could prevent this.
The country is TOO big. The constitution grants the states quasi independence. Used to be governors would appoint their electors and send them to Washington , no election at all! Now some of the states are totally corrupt but we wanted that bed and now we have to sleep in it. High state Independence would seem to grant legitimate status to every rat hole state government at the same level.
What do we do? We don’t like this union, we need to dissolve it. The current system is organized to allow wild hair (corrupt in our eyes) states so if we don’t want such states to have a vote in how we live our lives in our state, we can either shrink drastically the scope and power of the federal government, or- as the song goes, maybe we should call the whole thing off.
The same people who sabotaged President Trump’s endorsed candidates are now out there blaming them and Trump for their losses. They ignored, or even helped (I’m looking at you Bill Gates of Maricopa County, AZ) the dems with their ballot manufacturing operations. They don’t talk about that, do they? All of the people who are now supporting DeSantis over Trump are the same people who spent millions to defeat MAGA candidates in the primaries, and having lost there then refused to fund their campaigns against the dems in the general election. These are rotten, corrupt people and we need to somehow sweep them out of the Republican Party. DRAIN THE SWAMP!
