I just spent a couple of weeks crisscrossing backroads of Kansas, Colorado , New Mexico and Texas. Haven’t been out there in some time.
The oil pumps I could see in the open fields and pastures were idle – save a few. The windmill farms are an eyesore, ominous and boding those beautiful big open skies. Maybe they grate on me so much, because I know what they represent.
Headed back east on Interstates, the trade and “alternate energy” corridors’ construction are still in full swing.
When you get to the other side of the Mojave Desert heading west, just past the airplane graveyard, and see all the wind turbines, it makes the heart sink. Granted, not much to see out there, but still. At least they start to end as the gorgeous Tehachapi mountains approach.

Saudi Arabia is not the problem. The problem is that Biden released strategic oil reserves, a policy that was followed by 5 other countries. Your tax dollars are what put that oil there, so he is using taxpayer dollars to bribe voters to vote for Democrats.
This release of strategic oil reserves stabbed OPEC+ by artificially driving down the world oil prices. In October, the price was down to a little over $80 a barrel which is too low for Saudi Arabia to maintain its budget. That is why OPEC+ (and Saudi Arabia) is restricting its output.
But the US and EU plan to set a price cap on Russian oil will only restrict the world market for oil in the western nations which is exactly what the west plans to do. But, it will give those nations an excuse for the shortages. These people are evil because they don’t care how they hurt the ordinary people as long as they can get their green energy agenda instituted.
