…”Norman Rockwell (optics), Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels. Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.” 8-12-22 {LINK}
Glenn Beck and Ben Shapiro enter messaging, with club financing… and we’re off. Ted Cruz in 2014, is Ron DeSantis in 2022.
The UniParty issue does not start in Washington DC, it surfaces in Washington DC.
The UniParty agenda, the origin of the crap that we see surface in a toxically corrupt federal government, starts IN YOUR STATE.
The UniParty is an outcome of the private organizations that run the political parties known as the RNC and DNC. This is where almost all voters and political followers get lost.
The Republican and Democrat parties are not affiliated with any construct of the United States government. They are private entities, private clubs, corporations that can establish any set of rules and regulations for the people within the club/party. That’s where the origin of the feces begins.
The club can accept or deny membership for any person who wants to run for political office. The RNC and DNC clubs essentially select the politicians. There is nothing within this process that is even remotely democratic, representative or even visible in the framework of the U.S. constitution.
Private corporations known as the RNC and DNC run the professional political apparatus, and from that origination all of the corruption in the body politic -as outlined in the visible UniParty agenda- surfaces.
Two clubs, both funded by Wall Street power brokers, globalists and ultra-rich mega-donors, select the members who will represent their interests in Washington DC. That’s the root of the issue.
The Republican National Committee (RNC), and the Democrat National Committee (DNC), are private clubs.
The RNC and DNC are corporations, private businesses; and just like all private businesses, they have the ability to make rules, bylaws, terms and conditions of membership and association that are completely arbitrary according to their charter.
The RNC and DNC are not entities of government. The RNC and DNC are not affiliates of government. The RNC and DNC have absolutely no connection to government, other than their arbitrary business model for helping politicians enter and remain within government.
In fact, the RNC and DNC are simply private corporations who engage in the business of politics. Whenever we start to forget the DNC and RNC are private corporations, we can slip into the mistaken belief that they operate on any form of baseline altruism.
These corporations exist for the fulfillment of their mission; and their mission is to use the business of politics as a method of financial reward to sustain the business model.
Some call these private entities, these corporations, “clubs,” because using that term helps to remind us that these groups do not operate without a private agenda.
The rules within the RNC club are determined by the people who control the club charter, primarily large donors who fund the corporate business. If they have a particular intent or direction, they wish the club to support or take, they control how the club engages in the process of achieving their outcome. That effort is taken regardless of the opinion from the subordinate members in the club.
Through the process of controlling the corporations, the private clubs, both the RNC and DNC control how political events take place. Nothing within this process is contingent upon the support of the voting electorate.
Each state and local precinct has their own chapter of the club, and often the corporate direction, specifically the club activity in/around Washington DC, is different from what the local groups want to see take place. However, just because the local chapter of the group disagrees with the parent company or board of directors, does not mean the larger corporate entity will change anything.
When we are evaluating political events inside the United States, it is critical to keep reminding ourselves that what is taking place, or what is not taking place, are outcomes determined within the executive suites of a private club. This is an unfortunate system dynamic, but it is a critical point that once fully understood explains many of the issues people have with the registered politicians within the club.
The RNC and DNC are businesses. Their decisions are business decisions. The club actions, or lack thereof, are all part of the business of politics.
The tenured participants in the club do not operate arbitrarily in a vacuum. They talk to each other, communicate with each other, organize with each other, plan with each other, and collaborate for the larger objectives of the private corporation.
Nothing within the business system of DC and club politics has anything to do with the constitutional framework of U.S. government.
Again, for emphasis. The governing process and constitutional aspects of the framework within the U.S. government, have absolutely nothing to do with the two private corporations known as the RNC and DNC.
A potato farmer has no influence on McDonalds, despite the fact the fast food corporation sells french fries.

[ The Illusion of Choice ]
“Governor Ron DeSantis’s (R-FL) re-election campaign announced “The DeSantis Playbook” on Thursday, a guide to the governor’s “Freedom Agenda” focused on law and order, parental rights, economic policy, and the environment.
The playbook, first obtained by The Daily Wire, details a lengthy list of the governor’s accomplishments for Floridians, lawmakers, governors, and Americans who might wish to follow in DeSantis’s footsteps.” (read more)
You may remember when never-trumper Glenn Beck was on the verge of bankruptcy, that’s when the weakness was identified by the bankers. The same bankers who have long exerted influence in our national conversation. The same bankers behind Ben Shapiro, not coincidentally another tenured ‘never-trumper.’ As much as things change, almost everything stays the same.
Shapiro and Beck…. It’s the multinational finance group within the worst part of the political manipulation sphere. Cruz in 2014 (prepping for 2016) is DeSantis in 2022 (prepping for 2024). EXACT SAME management group. EXACT SAME media. {link}
As we noted in the Managing of Ron DeSantis, the technique is Norman Rockwell (optics) and Ward Cleaver (tones), soft hues and gentlemanly pastels.
Club branding is subtle on the image front, but very clear on the substantive messaging side. Social issues selected to maximize camp coalition, and influence base.
Consistently present political messaging where the republican voter base can say “yes.” Keep the “yes” messaging at the forefront (social emphasis). Focus on values. Schools, kids, safety, woke pushback, media bias etc, keep the audiences nodding yes. Ultimately, it’s a sales technique. Identify with the target to influence their decisions.
Issues around multinational & corporate economics, hard lines, foreign policy, all these things must be avoided – except in general terms. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is not to be challenged, not really. Keep the message social and build the emotional connection. It is harder to break an emotional bond than a logical or cognitive bond.
These are the political techniques of Lee Atwater that still make up the bulk of the GOPe club playbook. The greatest skill of the professionally republican is to present the illusion of choice in such a way as the voters do not see it.
Keep in mind, back in Washington DC both clubs are collaborating on the Trump removal program because both clubs’ benefit.
If we watch closely, we will see a MAGA-lite, professionally controlled republican go from five-days as a pupa, to chrysalis, to national club butterfly.
And tomorrow is Saturday.
“EXACT SAME management group. EXACT SAME media.” Hopefully the exact same result. Trump wins!
Trump does have the power to make the “club” relent if he chooses to use it. He simply has to pick a mega-donor club member and direct a MAGA boycott at that business to set an example to the others
Trump ain’t done he’s running his own canidates. We need a new Republican Party
Patriot.
They’re either establishment or controlled opposition unless they are President Trump on this site. Now I know why some people (my husband is one of them) are refusing to vote because they’ve been demoralized over their choices. We can’t fix any of this with ONE man. All we have is essentially GOPe. I’ve always planned on voting for Trump again, but now I’m wondering if even voting will do any good at this point. He gets back in it’s just going to be a repeat of his first term. Constant struggle and really too much trying to make RINO’s and democraps happy.
The one thing virtually guarateed is that his second term will not be a repeat of his first, with a clarification.
The listxof genuine accomplishments for the American people in his first term is way too long to list.
Is THAT the “repeat of his first term” that you dread?
What I would dread would be a repeat of “what comes after” i.e. a repeat of Biden, where every accomplishment of PDJT is rapidly undone.
However, it will be a very different PDJT that enters D.C . for his second term.
And, he will not be forced to rely on his enemies to staff hos admin, he will have an ‘officer corps’ of battle hardened, seasoned tried and true MAGA warriors to tear out the rot, root and branch.
Frankly, if you aren’t posting FOR the enemy, you and your hubby are deluded by their psy-ops, and thats unfortunate.
You csn lead a horse to water, and cast pearls before swine.
Sundance, TGP etc can provide the info, but its up to you what you do with it.
Keep telling yourself that he is capable of completely changing DC and our country. He’s only a man. He has and will make mistakes. If I do vote it will be for him, but I’m not expecting it to stop anything. Slow it down, probably but not stop it. The only people I know who are deluding themselves with the idea that Trump (and only Trump) can fix all of this are all Q followers.
Q is not allowed here at the Treehouse!
Strictly forbidden.
Always has been.
And we are pretty good at picking up on Rolcons too.
Trust Sessions.
Or the Barr “discussions”
They were good too.
Good? LOL. Nothing but a waste of server space
Funny that you posted that. I have always thought the same but previously decided to not opine. I did post a few times in some of those “lively” discussions about Sessions and Barr. But much space was consumed by arguing that never resolved anything. Still, CTH is an open comment system so anyone can contribute. Our Admins decide when posts are of negative value.
WE all decide what posts are of negative value and can and do move our eyeballs elsewhere.
I certainly don’t believe in censorship.
Not to put too fine a point on it but while it’s true we can scroll on by posts we dislike, our Host and his Admins **DO** on occasion, decide to remove a post and even the poster’s ability to post any further when a post is deemed sufficiently bad as to misrepresent the character of this blog.
Looks like DeSantis is going to be the Trust Sessions theme to argue about here for the next year plus.
LOL, I miss the Sessions w/ the white hat is going to save us days.
I don’t. Had to scroll thru pages of that back and forth and more often than not it had nothing to do with Sundance’s original post
Who trusted Session – beside RINOS?!
probably the same ones who trust DeSantos
Sessions our AG for 1 day? Recused himself from an “investigation” that never had one shred of evidence. So what blackmail or extortion did criminals Rosenstein/Comey/Brennan etc use to get Mr Magoo Sessions to recuse himself 1 day on the job? That is the 6 million dollar question
Never … or JUDASpence.
Why and not a Q fan.
Thank you … and they are RolCon Blue – correct?
WHAT is it, that makes a champion?
Compare, for instance the Olympic gold medalist with well, everyone else.
It is not their physical condition, or training as both the Gold and silver are virtually the same.
Think, objectively about times in your life, when you have achieved significant and difficult accomplishments, and think of those who were also striveing for those accomplishments, and ‘failed’.
The true arena is 1 cubic foot of real eastate; between the ears.
If you KNOW you will succeed, you WILL.
IF you THINK you will, you won’t.
If you think you won’t, you DEFINETLY won’t.
If you know you won’t, obviously you won’t.
Yes, Cynthia it really IS “all in your attitude” and you do not have the attitude of a champion.
Fortunately, while there is only so much we can do about our physical conditions, or skills, CHANGING our attitude is something every single one of us can do.
And, PDJT is NOT “one man”, he is but the LEADER of a movement that existed before he came down the escalator, and will exist long after he leaves the stage.
And, PDJT is NOT “one man”, he is but the LEADER of a movement that existed before he came down the escalator, and will exist long after he leaves the stage.
A movement that is now more defined, educated, engaged, and enthused than ever before.
Maquis,
Thank you. Well said.
Patriots!!!
true, but any movement needs a leader and I can think
of no better person for the job; one who has proven himself
MAGA time and time again, than President Donald J Trump.
Absolutely Agreed.
Dutchman , 👍 !
Correct … Donald John Trump is a Patriot … and WeThePeople are Patriot supporters!
I agree if we can’t accept anyone who do we have.
We need to support those that aren’t progressive losers but we can’t discount all as we won’t have enough at this point to win.
Win now is the first goal and building on it is the prize.
Cant’t imagine McCarthy McConnell even Meadows , can’t think of one warrior to undertake the swamp. The three above are the creatures standing in Trumps way. If trump gets re-elected, the deep State will be hard to dissolve
Waaaaaaa Waaaaa Waaa 😭😭… and it’s not GOPe … it’s GoPe
No one will waffle on President Trump once you see this presentation on Trump’s Virtues by the Claremont Institute. It’s outstanding.
This is a great presentation. The speech is unified, cohesive, and powerful. The presenter’s power comes from the organization of the speech and the evidence he presents.
I recall that hot summer afternoon on the ramp in rural NorCal, the arrival of the T-bird, and this rebel stepping off it and taking to the podium in front of a small audience on a day so hot the ‘Trump’ sign on the podium lost its glue and fell off during his speech.
It wasn’t so much his polish and smooth and convincing manner, rather it was the lack of the usual and customary politician bullshyte I’d endured for decades. Something was coming. Something positive for the average citizen. It did.
Patriots unite. The enemy is formidable and the war will be long and hard fought. We’ve only just begun.
Claremont Institute: follow Tom; he’s also done an excellent article on DeSantis…not hard to find.
Book mark this for future reference.
Yes. Outstanding lecture. I posted it on my Facebook page. Thanks for sharing it chooseamerica.
However, Trump has another virtue that was not mentioned. He has a mind of STAGGERING GENIUS… far beyond Einstein or Mozart.
https://crystalclearnews.com/alex-jones-flips-on-trump-supports-possible-2024-desantis-bid-video/
Interesting post having just come from the article above. Anyone recall the bashing I got the other day when I said I wasn’t a fan of Alex Jones???
https://crystalclearnews.com/alex-jones-flips-on-trump-supports-possible-2024-desantis-bid-video/
Well, not a fan, either. I view him like Lin washisface, the nutjob gloryhound that deliberately or out of ego, derailed S. Powells work on the election, or tried to.
The legal case against jones was bs and political targeting, but as I say, I am not a fan of jones, so your not alone.
And I still haven’t clicked on the link, don’t need to.
Alex is calling for Trump to denounce the clot shot.
President Trump never ONCE stated the shot should be mandatory. He always advised making the decision for yourself and your family based upon your own weighing of pros and cons. He also advised exploring alternative medications and alternatives to combating the virus, but was shot down by the removal of anything close to going against the shot. Not his fault. As President he did a great job of getting them to come up with a solution quickly with a speedy rollout. I have a lot of family and friends who have gotten the shot and had no consequences (as of yet.) I support them in their decision, which they decided based on what they felt was best for them at the time. Trump always spoke out and opposed mandatory vaxxes for anyone.
Trump advocated for safe early treatment and was roasted for it. I believe Tawain sent us 60 million doses of hydroxycloroquine and Rick Bright and Janet Woodcock buried it. The apparatus intentionally drove up the death count. For the first time ever, Americans (and others) were denied compassionate care. It’s shocking and more shocking, how many people bought into this travesty.
Purposefully dumping Covid sick into nursing homes was also done to ratchet up the death counts and kick off the covid coup. Every State government admin that did that should all be facing mass murder charges. Make it a campaign promise if that will bring it back to the people’s conscious.
I think Trump knows about what happened with the vaccine but they will crucify him if he comes out now denouncing it…somehow it will be worse for all. this is the only thing I can think of as to why he is keeping silent. I don’t believe the Man would want to hurt our citizens….there is something under the surface…anyway we will eventually find out.
The poison death shot — Trump was blindsided by the big Pharma behemoth, “the science” and all that garbage, not to mention the NIH, et al.
Oh, yes, and the Pence weasel feeding him the “narrative.” And Trump’s naïveté on matters related to medicine, etc., as well as our naïveté — we’ve all been fed a pustulant pack of lies. The so-called science experts are no more than quacks and hawkers of snake oil; and like their counterparts in big business, living solely to enrich themselves at our expense.
Enough said, but for this: my loathing for the RNC, the Club, etc., is profound. DeSantis, it seems, is just another politician — a master of the expedient, lacking character and integrity — grasping for that bright shiny thing. Pity.
He is a broken man. Everyone is a hero until shit hits the fan, only then one knows who he is. Feel sorry for him.
Alex Jones was first to expose several “conspiracies” that were later proven true. Beyond that, IMHO, he is an acquired taste. I never acquired the taste for his style, neither his personal style nor his programs style. But I respect some of his work and the crap he’s endured for going against the main stream earlier than most.
Alex is doing this for his future lawsuits. He believes if he denounces Trump the liberal judge will be lenient. Take that to the bank. Right before 2024 he will be backing Trump.
Donald Trump kicked the hornets nest that houses the clubs. That’s why he’s a target.
What is the alternative, a lottery open to all eligible citizens to run on each Party’s ticket?
There’s no alternative. It’s like asking what the alternative to massive retaliation in the event of a massive nuclear attack. If we allow the left and deep state to pick our candidate (DeSantis, Haley, Lizard lady) then they’ve effectively won before the 2024 election even starts.
Who is lizard lady?
This was a DeSantis presidential stump speech, barely mentioned the candidates he was supposed to support in PA. He NEVER mentioned President Trump. This guy may be a good governor but a bought & paid for neverTrumper. Running on President Trump’s maga agenda. My aunt & uncle who live in Corals Gables said when DeSantis was running for governor, he distanced himself from President Trump & barely won. DeSantis is no Trump.
He only won because President Trump had rallies there, endorsed and supported him.
Before that, he was barely hanging on.
I don’t think anyone really likes a back stabber.
I volunteered for the DeSantis campaign. The tv adds were awful. Gillum’s head was floating around in a bubble. It made no sense. Yes, If President Trump had not done two rallies we may have had a crack head for Gov. DeSantis did not seem to want to win. It was very frustrating.
Yep thats what I remember, DeSantis shriveled up and played dead and seem resigned to the Gillum cheat until Trump stepped in. Completely unimpressed. And why did he not tackle election fraud, audit the machines, condemn the fraud in Orlando recently as well? Too busy making slick ads with his wife. And I’m sorry, there are all grades/stages of cancer, obviously if only six treatments required for “cure” Casey had a low stage –if it was 3 or 4 she would d still be doing chemo, radiation and her hair would be gone. Just sayin.
Spot on, exactly
Does anyone know? Do his kids go to public or private schools? My wager is on the second one.
Maybe they are home-schooled.
Good question, no idea on Shapiro’s kids. However, back when I was a young sprout going to private school, did so for the entirety of primary education, those who surrounded me came from mostly working class families like mine. Back then, dad worked mom managed the home and kids helped, in addition to going to school.
I ran into one I hadn’t seen in over 50 years a couple months ago; she didn’t really remember me but bought some inventory out of my shop and recalled our school days, where she got up early, worked on the family dairy, then went to school. Yup.
Wanting your kids not to be exposed to the evil in public schools is a good thing
Half the people commenting on this probably didn’t read the articles
Sundance posted.
Absolutely!
Agree!
Already have my eye on possible Rolcons.
For me only one question settles this entire debate
Between the two , which is dependent on the club in order to win. Hint it’s not Trump….
From my experience with the Republican Club over 30 years; Sundance is spot on.
I’ve been reading an excellent writer, JE Dyer, retired Naval Intelligence, who I’ve followed for several years.
This latest piece:
https://theoptimisticconservative.wordpress.com/2022/08/19/heres-motive-on-the-mar-a-lago-raid-or-dog-paddling-outside-the-ooda-loop/#more-7006
is worth everyone’s time (yes, Sundance has articles on it), which details the months activities since PDJT filed his RICO suit March 2022.
Now, here’s my point on the DeSantis angle (and you can include Pence and Laura Ingraham also)…:
Donald J. Trump, the man, the businessman, always expounds in his writings how he has a 6th sense and intuition when it comes to reading people and that is how he works with and makes deals with people. He may work with and make deals (or not) for years, until he achieves his ultimate goal, and he walks away when he sees the time is right.
My point is: PDJT knows perfectly well, what is going on with DeSantis (that’s why DeSantis is quiet). I believe DeSantis is testing the waters and he is coordinating his Governor’s race, with water testing and tying in a potential Presidential campaign bid BUT he is NOT clear on what PDJT might do.
Well, if you take the time to read JE Dyer, she does a great job of breaking down just how and why PDJT or (DJT the man) strategizes and fights.
Many of the commenters here are very angry with Sundance because they do not want to hear that DeSantis would actually campaign as Governor and then ditch and run for President…but I believe DeSantis (along with the Republican Club) are playing both sides of the field and surely Donald J. Trump (the man) absolutely knows this.
Why do you think PDJT has NOT officially announced his run for President 2024? Think about that long and hard before answering.
One big factor for President is National Security and International Affairs (Globalism): Before I vote for any President I want to know exactly where they stand on those two big issues. Domestic, Administrative issues are one thing, but we are in the fight of generations of lives over this Globalism cabal (and have been for decades). The only Presidential Candidate who EVER spoke loudly and clearly was Donald John Trump…no one else came close.
That’s how I am judging the candidates.
Thanks Sundance; you bring out the best and the worst of the deplorable treepers!!! Carry on!
I posted couple weeks ago.
I wish President Trump would/could wait until last possible minute before announcing he is running.
That way we could see which snakes and roaches come out from under the rocks before he does!
Very informative and thought provoking article you linked to. Thank you.
Can we start a MAGA club with a MAGA litmus test and doctrine?
Funny, I posted earliervon how important words are.
When I started attending the local Republican party monthly meetings, that how I talked about it, and thats how I thought about it.
So, go ahead and look at the mental image that forms in your mind, when you think “local Republican party meeting”.
Got it? Really LOOK at it.
Now, I no longer THINK or say “Republican party meeting” any more.
No, I’m going to my MAGA meeting! Savor the images that come to mind when you comprehended “MAGA meeting”!
Like a small version of a Trump rally, right in your local area, where you get to have fellowship, in unity, with like minded people?
Yup, thats about right.
And yes, the mental image you got from “Republican party local meeting” is probably pretty accurate for what the meetings were like, when I first started attending, as an insurgent.
Sundance…what he hell is your agenda? This is another of your scene steals. It’s good to see you mentioning Beck and Shapiro because you are just like them. At one time I was a fan of American Spectator, National Review, Breitbart, not any longer I said goodbye to them years ago, now to you, so long.
Run along, now, Tom, and get yourself some new talking points from Karl Rove headquarters. That’s who you’re working for, right?
Troll.
Tom S. you are not a CTH really.
Because you might ve just joined, you are utterly clueless about CTH. Sparsely read posts and we get comments like yours.
Read the posts from the beginning and educate yourself
Don’t let it hit ya,..
When President Trump says to go home to mommy, he’s truly not kidding. The maturity level of a liberal is no different than that of a child.
No need to announce it.
auf Wiedersehen
Wat chu talkin bout Tom?????
In the 2022 and 2024 elections, the RNC will no doubt take a page from the DNC. As you may recall, the DNC rigged the primary elections to cheat Bernie Sanders so that Hillary would be guaranteed to win the DNC’s nomination. So we can expect the primary sElections to be rigged against President Trump. And apparently these two clubs do not take kindly to people who try to interfere with the clubs’ sElections. Just ask Seth Rich, who found out that Hillary had rigged the elections; John Ashe, who “accidentally” crushed his own throat and died a week before he was scheduled to testify against the Clintons and Democrat Party; or Shawn Lucas, a Bernie supporter who served Bernie’s fraud lawsuit papers on the DNC.
Lawyers For The DNC Argue That ‘Primary Rigging’ Is Protected By The First Amendment
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-25/lawyers-dnc-argue-primary-rigging-protected-first-amendment
… The DNC defense lawyers then argued that: “There is no legitimate basis for this litigation, which is, at its most basic, an improper attempt to forge the federal courts into a political weapon to be used by individuals who are unhappy with how a political party selected its candidate in a presidential campaign.”
The brief continued: “…To recognize any of the causes of action that Plaintiffs allege based on their animating theory would run directly contrary to long-standing Supreme Court precedent recognizing the central and critical First Amendment rights enjoyed by political parties, especially when it comes to selecting the party’s nominee for public office.”
It appears that the defendants in the DNC Fraud Lawsuit are attempting to argue that cheating a candidate in the primary process is protected under the first amendment. If all that weren’t enough, DNC representatives argued that the Democratic National Committee had no established fiduciary duty “to the Plaintiffs or the classes of donors and registered voters they seek to represent.”
It seems here that the DNC is arguing for its right to appoint candidates at its own discretion while simultaneously denying any “fiduciary duty” to represent the voters who donated to the Democratic Party under the belief that the DNC would act impartially towards the candidates involved.
Adding to the latest news regarding the DNC Fraud Lawsuit was the recent finding by the UK Supreme Court, which stated that Wikileaks Cables were admissible as evidence in legal proceedings. If Wikileaks’ publication of DNC emails are found to be similarly admissible in a United States court of law, then the contents of the leaked emails could be used to argue that, contrary to the defendant’s latest brief, the DNC did favor the campaign of Hillary Clinton over Senator Sanders and that they acted to sabotage Sanders’ campaign.
GOP/DeSantis focus on emotional issues because greater emotion creates greater confirmation bias. That’s one reason Sundance is taking so much flak on Twitter from DeceptiRon’s “fans”. Confirmation bias causes you to ignore the subtle red flags that, when viewed objectively, would cause you to reject a candidate. DeSantis is club GOP, got elected in 2018 thanks to Trump, and now – like almost every other GOP Trump helped get elected – is nowhere to be found after the raid on Mar.
True Colors always come out.
Only a matter of time.
Why do you think PDJT has NOT announced an official run for 2024?
Coat tail Riders that stabbed Trump in the back.
people’s egos are so fragile that they don’t want to be proven wrong.
Heck, I can’t tell you how many times I have been wrong starting
with George Bush. And that is okay. I have learned since then
and get extremely frustrated and snarky when people are not
interested in the political education process that unveils right
before our eyes. And some still can’t see!
DeSantis is the best Republican governor in my lifetime… and I’m getting old. Still haven’t seen any concrete policies he is behind that are concerning. None. Tougher on the media by far than Trump. Pushes solid conservative freedom legislation through the Florida congress with stunning regularity. I’m paying attention but not sure this is the guy we should run out of the GOP…
Then why won’t he mention Trump’s name re the Mar a Lago raid? And why won’t he say there was fraud in 2020?
And why don’t you see the two of them as buddies . No the quiet no mention of Trump and the upcoming rallies to” support the people running for office”is a huge clue. Trump of course he knows. Ron he knows……
youre right.
Just out of the 2024 presidential run.
That’s all. And we’d like to know if he supports President Trump.
Who said treepers want dedsantis out of the gop?
I just want to see Trump back in the White House. He (we) were cheated, plus Trump has been vetted. As a country, we were doing GREAT again. As a world, a rising tide lifts all boats. When has another President of the US, D or R, had such an impact? World peace and prosperity. Things have gone to hell since he left.
I have been very concerned about the GPO Bernie Sanders-ing Trump. What can prevent this? MAGA being precinct committee members? To vote in Trump as our delegate? IDK, why I’m asking.
DeSantis has no private sector experience of running a business or economics of business–hes been on the Federal dime since college
You don’t need to run him out unless he starts acting improperly with respect to Florida and its citizens. But do not support him running for President until you see how he develops in the next year.
missing the point; his true colors towards President Trump
have already been revealed; we do not need to see more.
Sadly, he left us and went to the GOPe.
Aero,
not so much run out of the GOP, as recognise he is willingly being groomed for the National stage by the GOPe, and hevis obviously NOT aiming for Congress, as he’s been there, done that.
So, POTUS or VPOTUS.
PDJT having survived Pence, is NOT going to accept a GOPe groomed VP.
So, that leaves Desantis as either challenging PDJT, or succeeding him, much as Bush succeeded Reagan and gradually got the ship back on the UNIPARTY coarse.
Let Desantis stay Governor of Florida, have KL win in November, and we will see how MAGA Desantis looks in a year.
Slapping the press around is taking on an appearance of being Trumplike, and its actually easy.
Some see Desantis’s actions as “bold” and “courageous”; frankly given the power a governor has, he has been timid, and focused on “making points”.
One short example: he made a big deal about opening monoclonal antibody treatment centers (cause its NOT a diy home treatment thing) and then fighting the Feds when they cut back Florida allotment.
Good headlines. By signing two executive orders, he could have stopped the PLANdemic dead in its tracks.
Make HCQ and Ivermectine OTC, and require Hospitals to report to the State Dept of Health admissions and deaths clearly seperating “with” and “from”.
Boom, the whole plandemic narrative collapses.
THATS what he COULD have done, but didn’t.
One thing I remember Gov DeSantis doing to separate deaths “with” and “from” Covid, is preventing labs from running incorrect PCR test cycles, like they did elsewhere to pad the Covid positive results.
I think DeSantis did a lot of good things for Florida. And that is where he should remain for the next few years.. Florida.. where he is most useful.
And what could Trump as President have done? He let Fauci and Birx burn the country to the ground on his watch. I trust DeSantis far more on covid than Trump to be honest.
I’m still voting for Trump. He’s going to win easily if he runs. Not sure why all the angst over DeSantis…
Amen
check out on how the federal government is run
vs. state government
He has been a great Governor for Florida.
He will be even better his second term.
State vs United States of America … Huuuuge difference.
then you are not paying attention
DeSantis is showing that he doesn’t deserve to be MAGA
If Floridians want him as governor, fine. That’s your deal.
Stabbing President Trump in the back is a “no go” for me.
They are really giving “Clubs” a bad name……….
They should be called by their rightful description…….
Criminal gang……….
Cartel has a nice ring
I so admire Sundance for standing his ground on what he believes……been MAGA from the start…
this video has always reminded me of Sundance taking on the RNC and DNC…….thank you
always speak your truth ..no matter whos ass it chaps….
what is Sundance is a girl?
Sometimes it’s just ok to be a successful man. He’s a dude ok. Before all this woke nonsense I would take your comment as a joke and get a chuckle from it. Today’s f up woke world, not so much.
He’s a confirmed and admitted Florida Man.
suspicious cat here….
Helluva one too!
Hope to God Sundance isn’t a CIA deep state FBI communist! Sundance I sure wonder who you are ! Dear God….
That we know, has a lot of inside information and pray he is on our side
yes! one of my favorite movies
Just putting this in the mix since this is a DeSantis thread.
The Democrat media is already starting their predictable freak out over the felon vote fraud arrests.
From this silly, heavily spun article, we learn that Florida Investigators actually made contact with these people and asked if they voted. . . . . which wasn’t done with any of the state audits due to DOJ threats of hitting them with intimidation / harassment charges.
I think it’s likely that some of these birds will say it wasn’t they who reregistered or voted. . . . . Which would be a viable defense and could lead to the crux of the problem…. direct evidence of democrat apparatchiks voting ON BEHALF OF OTHERS – which strongly backs up the evidence that’s already out there in the 2000 Mules documentary. . . . Just spit ballin’ here.
Talking about this investigation, not necessarily DeSantis.
—————————————-
DeSantis touted their arrest. But ex-felons say they weren’t told they couldn’t vote.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/desantis-touted-their-arrest-but-ex-felons-say-they-weren-e2-80-99t-told-they-couldn-e2-80-99t-vote/ar-AA10R7Yg
Ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
Interesting. They need to find either their mail in vote envelope or in person voting signature in the book
Sundance,
Pulling it together, these past weeks, I realize that your posts between 4-10 pm , BLOW AWAY, all content offered on tv and all of the net.
You are the initial aggregate and they just catch up.
GOD , bless you.
Agree!
That is one of the reasons I stopped watching even cable news years ago.
I just realized. The DeSantis family all dresses in matching outfits to read books together – how wholesome! how believable!
Something else I always like about Trump is he openly admitted he never changed a diaper.
And that’s one of the many reasons we LOVE PDJT.
He is true to who he is
Yes, and DeSantis imitating President Trump’s gestures when he speaks.
Very inauthentic.
This picture of DeSantis reading books with his family is just another example of a typical fake politician.
He has done some good things in Florida, just like Tucker has said some good things on Fox. But that’s what the con man always does.
Con men gain your CONfidence by doing something good, only to screw you later.
This happened with Pence and so many, many other politicians who were initially LOVED.\
The financial backers are the ones who control, and DeSantis is backed by the globalist Koch brothers.
https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2018/07/11/desantis-wins-formal-koch-backing-as-momentum-continues-to-shift-504166
Someone should come out with a meme of President Trump
sitting on a couch reading to his adult children!
Prince William and family always dress in color coordinated outfits. Seems to be the style. But the De Santis’ Family has a beige couch. I could never ever vote for a person who has a white beige gray black or leather couch. It’s OK for poor people. But for people who can afford decent couches, it’s just not done.
Basing votes on the color of a couch? OMG, I’ve heard it all🙄
Odds are the couch in the picture is a set or if not it’s part of the furniture that came with the Governor’s mansion. By the by, gasp, ZOMG there was a beige couch in Trump’s oval office.
The correct term is Sofa and yes think many of us light colored sofas.mine is white and so comfy, Even Pottery Barn ….snort
Yes because the Royals know they are constantly photographed. Posing on a rented suburban mom couch while you live in a freaking mansion is very fake.
LOL – you were not serious I hope
back when his children were young, most men didn’t.
Frankly, and no disrespect to Sundance, I usually escew his explanation of the Uniparty as two seperate corporations, in favor of ONE entity, masqerading as two.
In the corporate world, the equivalent of one company ‘buying out’ the other in order to increase maket share, and doing it while having the bought out company keep its name and branding so consumers THINK they have a choice between “brand X” and “brand Y” when in fact they don’t.
Sundances way of describing it is more like anti-trust, where these two companies in “the marketplace of ideas” collude to cooperate rather than to compete, and to drive out ALL other companies (MAGA, TEA PARTY, PEROT, etc) in order to control the market while again giving the APPEARANCE of competition.
Its not really a major disagreement, as you notice we both get to the same end point; collusion to dominate “the marketplace of ideas”.
AND the deception as both parties work to maintain the illusion of “choice” for ‘consumers’.
I maintain the Republican wing of the Uniparty, is actually the far stronger wing, and without it the Dems fall.
I am not sure Sundance disagrees on that key point.
RSBN will be covering Mike Lindell’s special program on Saturday and Sunday:
This historic two day event will take a further deep dive into the corruption of the 2020 election. Mike Lindell, CEO of My Pillow, will provide an update on each state plus “the machines” are put to the test. Move premier of “Selection Code” scheduled during the event.
Tune in starting at 9:30 AM ET on August 20, 2022.
Hope to see you there Ron Desantis.
Under DeSantis ERIC was installed to maintain voter rolls which I understand can be manipulated. Also allowed are third party registrations by NGOs (not in person) Also there is machine voting. Not a good look for preventing voter fraud.
The money behind Beck, Shapiro, and the rest of the Blaze TV crowd was never-Trumper and subprime student loanshark Cory Katz. He was a single issue donor and his single issue was a status quo ante repeal of Obamacare, to remove the restrictions on subprime student loans that were buried in PPACA. Katz is also the guy who deplatformed cruise ship host Mark Steyn for supporting Trump.
As far as the club goes, beyond the RINO hunting primary season, what is the way? Do we take over committees at the county and state level?

I swear Sundance over at CTH and I are on the same mental brain waves. I saw a similar thing happen with Ted Cruz in the early early run up to the 2016 election. Initially I liked Cruz because he was well versed in the U.S. Constitution and, well, there seemed to have been a absence of that knowledge in D.C. for quite some time so I rallied around Cruz until….
I vividly recall the first time I looked at Teddy’s campaign logo. It was more of the same pastel colors depicting his milquetoast campaign* and even wimpier view of America after enduring eight excruciatingly long and harrowing years of obama’s pastel colored deception and destruction of our lives and our country. American’s didn’t want any part of that again and instead wanted BIG – BOLD – VIBRANT colors that characterized the greatness of America and removing the shackles government put on American citizens. I emailed his campaign HQ to alert them of the problem, but alas, I was one of the unwashed and and unworthy to speak to anyone on the staff of any D.C. grand poo paa. If Cruz and his campaign was too stupid to see that, he was not getting my support. The rest is history. We got our BIG – BOLD – VIBRANT leader who believed in each and every one of us and America as much as we believed in him.
(* The pastel’s were probably dreamed up by some of the D.C. “political consultants” who convince republicans every time to do and say the stupidist things. Republiwonts fall for it and lose every time. “They” know who they want and who they don’t want and voting is just a formality that will be manipulated to give them their desired result.)
BTW – ya gotta wonder who is advising Oz in his campaign in Pennsylvania. Did someone tell him to be milquetoast in distinguishing himself from democrats or is he really challenged as a candidate? Clearly McConnell won’t support him because he’s not a McConnell team player. Who is advising him?
As you’re alluding to Cruz I’ll note that my experience, having stupidly briefly supported Cruz, was that his fundraising machine was brutally dishonest and aggressive, I recall cussing out a number of his fundraisers to get them off my back.
I’ve never seen anything like it before or since.
Wonder what the next Instead-Of-Trump machine will look like?
If Lyin Ted was well-versed in Constitutional law, then he should have known that only natural born citizens can be President of the USA. So why did he run?
I had to turn off Rush because he was only promoting Cruz
in the beginning also – until President Trump won the primary.
Love that picture!
Mr. Haney, is that you?
Hilarious

JD Vance with Ron DeSantis in Youngstown, Ohio.
DeSantis wife from Ohio.
DeSantis mother from Youngstown.
DeSantis father from Pennsylvania but went to Youngstown State.
Does anyone know of Ron’s alleged connection to the pilgrim society? Or of Gabriel’s horn at blab, or Americans for truth?
There is no “uniparty”. There are always differences between the GOP and the Dems. Even the RINOs aren’t like the Dems. They have vast differences in some elements of their agendas, although there are some overlaps, most notably maintaining power and building personal wealth at the expense of taxpayers.
It is MORE important to remove Dems than RINOs, but they can both be done in election years. The time to eject RINOs is during the primaries, the time to eject Dems is during the general elections.
But what do you do if you couldn’t primary a RINO? You have three choices for the general election: 1) vote for the RINO, 2) vote for an opponent, 3) don’t vote. Choices #2 and #3 are idiotic, they allow Dems to gain/maintain political positions and majorities. The reason why Trump has been impeached 20 times is because the Dems control the House, which is the same reason why there are endless “hearings” and “investigations” to persecute Trump. Choice #1 is unpleasant but at least it’s productive in that it gains/maintains political positions and majorities for the GOP.
Remember, not everyone in the GOP is a RINO, and RINOs don’t alway behave horribly. Example: Mitch McConnell shut down that 1st impeachment trial very swiftly. He wouldn’t even entertain the notion of trying President Trump let alone convicting him. Another example: Kavanaugh and Barrett were confirmed by a RINO-controlled Senate. There are numerous other examples.
In summary: RINOs are not equal to Dems
Dems are the worst, try to get rid of them during general elections
RINOs are next worst, try to get rid of them during primaries, not general elections
No sale, Serena.
RINOs are wolves in sheep’s clothing. That makes them every bit as repugnant as Dems.
None of them speak for me, and none of them are going to fight for us.
Hey, remember that red wave of 2010, when the GOP overwhelmingly won back the House? Remember all that the Boehner Congress/Ryan Congress did for us?? /
Remember when McCain helped us repeal Obamacare ?
Neither do I .
He did that to thwart Trump. He campaigned on repealing Obamacare and the only reason he insisted on being the last person to vote and then dramatically voted against the repeal because he was so upset with Trump. It had nothing to do with the usual RINO/GOPE “principles”.
does it matter what his reasons are for betraying the
American people?
excuses are just excuses
That kinda sounds GOPe-ish to me
BUT, you can provide all of the examples you want to try to prove D = R (Dems = RINOs)
Logically, I only need to provide one counter example to prove your theory wrong. And I’ve provide more than one. They are NOT equal. Dems are actually worse. Vote to get them out during the general elections. The time to oust RINOs is during the primaries.
we agree with that on a practical level
At least in the republican party they can sometimes
be strong armed to do something right
Dems are worse. In the general elections get rid of the Dems. In the primaries get rid of the RINOs.
Good call, I remember that RINO nonsense.
Ryan didn’t impeach Trump. Pelosi did.
McConnell sells RINOs to his friends on the other side of the uniparty aisle. He and McCarthy are paid for clowns.
Not seeing any differences, just different talk. The pox on em.
https://www.theepochtimes.com/growing-evidence-indicates-sex-between-men-is-fueling-monkeypox_4675114.html?utm_source=Goodevening&utm_campaign=gv-2022-08-19&utm_medium=email&est=wW9eiCRtC5aiRvmTe4tJzOw4PGGsZ9GxvJPrfGosstEsO9rs0iklaCYpjP%2B4ykU%3D
You aren’t seeing any differences even though I listed 3 above and have listed more in other threads.
Dems are worse.
I can’t name 5 republican senators that aren’t RINOs IMO. Same thing in the House.
RINO is the same or even worse because they offer hope, and then stab us in the back.
There’s no republicans.
I can’t name 5 republican senators that aren’t RINOs IMO. The House is pretty much the same.
RINO is the same or even worse because they offer hope, and then stab us in the back.
There’s no republicans, including the freedom carcass.
Look at my examples of the differences. They are not the same. Stop being illogical. Yes RINOs are awful but Dems are worse.
They only look different because they need to keep up the pretense of 2 parties. In reality, they want the same things, power and money.
You are not going to make your pro-Mitch sale here. Try Hot Air. They’ll be more sympathetic to your coordinated GOPe pitch over there.
I’m sorry your reading comprehension is so poor. I’m anti-RINO. But the time to remove RINOs is during the primary, and if you’re stuck with RINOs in November you need to vote for them because Dems are worse. If you fail to elect Republicans then we lose seats to Dems and we lose majorities. That happened in 2018 and 2020.
What’s YOUR plan? How should voters vote? Keep it simple. What should voters do in their primaries and then in the general elections?
we all know that…..just stop
Why I read the Coulter column I don’t know but I can for sure tell you that I do not like that bitter cold woman.
Ann Coulter stopped being relevant to our cause about 15 years ago.
She’s despicable.
I agree not a big fan of Cruz, but Desantis went hard after Disney’s tax status, COVID-19 mandates, CRT in schools, and big pharma’s/CDC’s fake science. Please explain how the RNC funded Desantis’ very vocal positions on these issues. I get that Trump is more financially independent, but that doesn’t mean his policies were free from DS influence. Compare Trump’s position on the vaccine with Desantis’. “Striving to better, oft we mar what’s well.” – Shakespeare
He’s being bought and branded. We don’t want someone like that as President. The past ones haven’t worked out well at all.
Great, those are his social issues. What are his economic issues, plans to change, what is his economic philosophy?
Does he believe that the US is the world’s police force? How does he feel about the WEF, the UN, etc.
If Trump runs in 24, he’s my only choice. If he doesn’t then I still don’t know what DeSantis is.
Isn’t it interesting that DeSantis is so full of himself that he’s convinced not only that he’s doing perfectly, but that he can teach others? And that he deserves a brand? He’s been Governor now for 3 1/2 years. Can anyone name one of his accomplishments prior to that?
OK Ron DeSantis, now I think even less of you. I hope others catch on.
I mentioned in the presidential open thread that Ken Griffin who is among the very top GOP donors is moving from Chicago to Miami. Griffins choice for GOP Governor candidate failed badly despite Griffin injecting $50 million into the guy’s campaign. Instead of trying to help the other guy win, the guy who won the primary, Griffin is acting like a spoiled kid and leaving. If he can’t have things HIS way then screw everyone else.
Expect him to dump a lot more money into Florida campaigns now. I’m fully expecting some huge donations to DeSantis or DeSantis PACs. Griffin actually donated $10 MILLION to Rick Scott’s Senate campaign in 2018 and $1.5 MILLION to Lisa Murkowski’s Senate campaign this year.
I see Shapiro’s facebook. The featured video is “A Few More Reasons Ron DeSantis is America’s Best Governor“
Yah. We’re not stupid.
Anyone have a plan? I think we should sit on their social media and respond immediately to everything they post, “they” being all of the DeSantis pimpers. WE need to inform the people who can’t or don’t seek in-depth information. In fact, that’s exactly the type of people DeSantis’ PR team is targeting. Make DeSantis sound like the best thing since sliced bread. America’s Governor! The new face of the GOP party! lol
And watch the FEC database.
I’m too busy trying to respond here to the GOPe pimpers. Because WE’RE not that stupid.
and, unfortunately, there seem to be many of them
We’ll, he is America’s best Governor…
That’s what we’re being told by the people who want to sell him ….
Um….sure. our idiot Republican State Legislature let out idiot Governor rule with an iron fist all 2020. Everything locked down, no in person church for several months, or inside dining almost all year. We took vacation in FL and life felt almost normal again. My wife hated going back home..a first after any vacation.
DeSantis has been good to FL. Hope he continues that after the next election…we need more governors in more states….working together to shrug off illegal Fed rule.
DeSantis is not going to run for President in 2024…to much energy is being wasted on this current distraction IMHO.
I read he already donated 10 million to DeSantis.
His wife needs to lose the mullet! She ain’t no Melania!
I think people are missing the point, at least the one I see.
It is not about any one man or woman; it is about WE THE PEOPLE.
Nobody will save us, they never have. Stand up local, if we all do it, we may be able to grow food soon. It’s not too late.
I just want to remind everyone that when DeSantis was attempting to win the Florida Governor race in 2018 he was happy to associate himself with Trump. Trump and Trump supporters are the reason he’s Florida’s current Governor. But now? Now he won’t even say Trump’s name.
Serena I just happen to have listened to Governor DeSantis give a speech in Ohio and he indeed did say Donald Trump’s name. He said the FBI abused their power.
It was near the end of his speech, but he talked about the raid and the Russia hoax.
I’m sure all the DeSantis haters here will say he did that to throw us off the trail or something🙄
He said Trump’s name?? (faint!) Are you 100% certain? If he did it’s probably only because he’s hearing Trump supporters’ complaints. Throwing us a teeny tiny bone.
Maybe you should give him this MAGA Memory?
Lindell was saying kind of the same thing tonight on Warroom about the selection of candidates by the machines. Will be interesting to hear what comes out of his symposium this weekend, especially since DJT supports it.
President Trump sent a message to WarRoom tonight with his attorney, Boris: ‘ Watch and Read Truth Social; Big News coming out this weekend. ‘(I paraphrased from what I heard)
I am anxious to see Lara Logan’s file [S]Election Code. Sound like it will be premiered by Mike over the wknd.
It gives you hope when you see non partisan journos like Lara and Sheryl Atkisson or old time libs like Turley, Dersh, Naomi Wolf, RFK Jr and apparently Dr Malone lining up on the side of common sense despite the prices they are paying
The concept of the two big parties as organisms dedicated to perpetuating themselves, not to their constituents, is not new. See Walter Karl, Indispensible Enemies: The Politics of Misrule in America. He draws on the scholarship on parties to show how Dems & Republicans have been colluding at least since the Civil War, thwarting insurgents in their parties. What he doesn’t address are the interests behind the party leaderships. Sundance stresses that issue, but doesn’t clarify who precisely is behind the policies pushed by the Uniparty establishments. I ask: precisely what interests benefit from the “do without” situation into which we are being dragged?
We have some major issues going on here in Florida believe it or not. My Governor(Not Americas) has some big fish to fry for Floridians. If Governor D had put Florida on Watermarked, handcounted paper ballots and one day only voting and tabulation, he would not be able to count all of his small dollar donations negating the need for Big PAC Monies. All he would have had to site is HBO’s Documentary on Machine Vulnerabilities AND out right Voter Demand. Believe me when I tell you there are many Floridians who have tried to reach his office on this and many other issues only to be sandbagged and ignored. I am still going to vote for the guy but his staffers and advisors suck.
Bankers and multi-national corporations? Are you trying to say something here? This is beneath you
The Daily Desantis smears are getting old. He can’t even campaign without a hit piece…Surely some sheep will go along
I think you’ll eventually change your mind. The evidence will mount.
YOU are the sheep
I just realized that there might be a little war developing among Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, Glenn Beck, and the other people who are pimping DeSantis. They’re not doing it to be charitable, they’re doing it to make money.
Jordan Peterson has been gobbled up by Ben Shapiro Inc. and is doing vidoes with the same Norman Rockwell production value. Dennis Prager also seems to have been swallowed by Shapiro Inc. Sad to see. Pro endless wars to make the world safe for democracy, etc., southern border not as importamt as being the world’s policeman, blind to the $$$$ aspect of war, exhilarated to be united with liberals and the Left in support of the corrupt government of Ukraine, etc. Prager wanted to stay in (opium riddled and boy love practicing) Afghanistan “until we fix it,” etc. Depressing to think about.
Oh my gosh, upthread here and in the presidential thread I wrote about Ken Griffin’s move from Chicago to Miami and I fully expect him to throw some huge $$ at DeSantis. I was unaware … it already started in 2021.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-10-04/griffin-desantis-s-top-donor-wishes-he-d-stay-out-of-mask-wars
October 4, 2021 at 2:45 PM CDT
Billionaire hedge fund manager Ken Griffin, Ron DeSantis’s biggest financial backer this year, criticized the Florida governor for blocking mask mandates as Covid cases and deaths surged. […] Griffin’s $5 million gift on April 30 [2021] tops donations to DeSantis’s political action committee this year. A fifth of the $55 million that DeSantis has raised in 2021 came from hedge fund billionaires, private equity bankers, investment managers and other donors from the finance industry.
https://apnews.com/article/joe-biden-business-health-coronavirus-pandemic-4d0d18b24e0dd41de2424e19b3ed994f
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — who has been criticized for opposing mask mandates and vaccine passports — is now touting a COVID-19 antibody treatment in which a top donor’s company has invested millions of dollars.
DeSantis has been flying around the state promoting a monoclonal antibody treatment sold by Regeneron, which was used on then-President Donald Trump after he tested positive for COVID-19. The governor first began talking about it as a treatment last year.
Citadel, a Chicago-based hedge fund, has $15.9 million in shares of Regeneron Pharmaceutical Inc., according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Citadel CEO Ken Griffin has donated $10.75 million to a political committee that supports DeSantis — $5.75 million in 2018 and $5 million last April.
https://www.tallahassee.com/story/news/local/state/2022/05/25/florida-desantis-notable-billionaire-supporters-koch-publix/9745715002/
Ron DeSantis has at least 42 billionaire donors. Here are some of the most notable.
Florida analysis found dozens of billionaires and billionaire family members with a net worth of $275 billion have donated to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ reelection effort, a level of billionaire support one expert called “extraordinary.”
Only a few are mentioned. The full list is behind a paywall.
They all have expectations.
https://www.opensecrets.org/news/2022/08/florida-governor-ron-desantis-break-gubernatorial-fundraising-record/
August 16, 2022 3:30 pm
Amid rumblings of a potential 2024 presidential bid, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) political operation raised $165.6 million since 2019, the year he took office. DeSantis already set a new record for gubernatorial fundraising without candidate self-financing and is about $11 million away away from raising more money than any gubernatorial candidate in recent decades as of Aug. 5.
During the first seven months of 2022, DeSantis’ campaign raised nearly $22 million a new OpenSecrets analysis of campaign reports filed Aug. 12 found. His state-level PAC, Friends of Ron DeSantis, brought in about $67.2 million during the same period. While DeSantis’ campaign and PAC are technically two different political committees, they are two halves of the same war chest.
In addition to the Republican Governors Association’s nearly $17.4 million in contributions to his PAC, the Florida governor’s PAC has drawn millions of dollars in contributions from GOP megadonors. Budget Suites hotel mogul Robert Bigelow contributed $10 million to DeSantis’ political operation this cycle, and Ken Griffin, CEO of the hedge fund Citadel, gave $5 million. GOP megadonor Richard Uihlein, billionaire founder of the shipping and business supply company Uline, and his wife contributed over $1.2 million.
Former Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner (R), a prodigious self-financer who gave almost $95 million to his own 2014 and 2018 gubernatorial campaigns, also gave $660,000 to DeSantis’ PAC this election cycle.
I believe neither Ken Griffin, who is moving from Illinois to Florida, and Former IL Governor Bruce Rauner have contributed to the GOP nominee for Illinois Governor.
I hope he finally paid off his student loans.
Spectacular analysis.
Another commenter stated that DeDantis and his club handlers are testing the waters.
Barring a disqualification, which will be a really tough sell to half the country imo, Trump will run again.
What DeSantis does afterwards will reveal most, if not all.
I have a feeling DeSantis is going to run in 2024 even if Trump runs. He has big money behind him now, and a brand. (eyeroll)
To Sundance,
DeSantis has done much good in FL – spending, taxes, culture, covid, etc. He’s not perfect but he has done a lot of good in a short time in office.
I loved Trump’s policies (tariffs, judges, immigration, taxes, regulations, etc) and sent him money and voted for him twice, but he was the guy who shut down the country over covid, he was the guy that allowed the democrats to rig the presidential election by not fighting back BEFORE the vote, he racked up record deficits, he didn’t rein in the deep state intelligence & DOJ bureaucrats, he didn’t finish the wall and worst of all he didn’t get reelected.
Trump bungled a lot of things. He alienated lots of suburban Republican voters. I don’t think he’s the best candidate for 2024 to advance MAGA policies.
You don’t think Trump is the best candidate? Who is the best candidate? 🙂
DeSantis
Say … isn’t that a Disney book about a transgendered prince/ess he’s reading to his kids? Or Disney versions of Bible Stories?
DeSantis is now going to be holding a rally for Doug Mastriano. Putting him in the public eye in Pennsylvania.
Don’t people see?
Because only Trump can campaign for America first candidates? This is getting ridiculous.
DeSantis is running for re-election in Florida, what’s he doing in Pennsylvania? And read my comments above about his big-$$$ donors.
The knee-jerk part of my brain hopes he loses his Florida election, but the more rational part hopes he wins because we do not want a Dem Governor in Florida heading into the 2024 election.
Taking bets that most of the time DeSantis will be talking about himself
I heard DeSantis in Philadelphia today at a rally for Doug Mastriano. It was NOT about anyone other than DeSantis. I hear he’s continuing to make the rounds for MAGA candidates. WTF – is he aligning himself with MAGA candidates – like now he’s the new Trump endorsement? I like what he’s done in Florida, but he’s mini-Trump. He never mentions election fraud and didn’t say squat about the FBI. Seems to play it safe. That, plus, he was a no show at the NRA conference after Uvalde. Safe choice man. And all of media jumping on that train makes me discount him. Feels like he’s sucking off Kari Lake’s energy, IDK.
We need Trump period. An outsider that can approach problems uniquely as Trump does. Not to mention, Trump’s endorsement won DeSantis the election in Florida so if he runs against Trump, he’s just another poser in my opinion. If he chooses not to – I’m cool with him.
It irks me that President Trump held rallies and supported these
candidates through the primaries.
Now, here comes Johnny Come Lately, DeSantis, hanging on
to the coattails.
He is a slimeball.
The problem is that most conservatives may not be able to see through the DeSantis deception… and the GOPe will ensure that its rules are modified and Trump is not allowed to compete in the 2024 primaries.
This will be another 1992 style election where the Democrat wins a plurality of the popular vote and a majority of the EC.
What is most likely to happen after this result is the final demolition of the GOP. It will become a rump party
Sounds like you have given up. I never will.
A lot of people said that about Jeff Sessions too, Gina.
IMV, advice to be wary of DeSantis falling prey to GOPe is wise counsel. But I’m not ready to tag DeSantis as already part of it.
How about this for a fly in the ointment?
Alex Jones Ditches Donald Trump for ‘Way Better’ Ron DeSantis
https://resistthemainstream.org/alex-jones-turns-on-trump-has-a-way-better-2024-candidate-in-mind/?utm_source=newsletter1
Look on the prior page at my comment showing all of the big $$$ donors have been giving DeSantis in the past year. Right around the time he stopped mentioning Trump. I’m convinced he’s a turncoat, the big money was super enticing to him and they told him they could make him win in 2024.
Another Pence wolf in sheep’s clothing!
No. Pence never did a strong conservative thing in hi life.
Yes and no. Pence was way too robotic. A smile forced its way across his mug. DeSantis’ shtick is far more apple pie.
DeSantis’ eyes radiate nothing. Just like Pence.
Pence is no wolf. He’s more of a scavenger like a coyote.
Now Mr. Jones just announced bankruptcy …….do you think GOPe $$$$$$ might sway him to a second / third tier candidate?
The GOPe whispered this in Mr. Jones ear: Had enough yet??? Endorse who we say and maybe we will stop tormenting you.
Desantis is a cheap imitation of PDJT.
I can remember him even trying out the hand movements and other PDJT mannerisms while back.
It’s been said Alex Jones is controlled opposition. Whether true or not? You decide.
Not a peep from him about the Stasi raid on a former President!
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted the FBI’s raid Monday night on former President Donald Trump‘s home at Mar-a-Lago, saying the Biden administration has turned the nation into a “Banana Republic.”

President Trump he is not former! DeSantis and Disney do your research and connect the dots… we are in a war for our FREEDOM, TRUTH, and MIND!!! I pray for you along with others for discernment.
Actually he did, FLVOICENEWS.com…DeSantis calls FBI Raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago the “weapon i action of federal agencies against the regimes political opponents”!!!
Given AJ’s lack of judgement I would say that a DeSantis endorsement is the perfect reason not to vote for him. I will always vote for President Trump over any other so-called Repub, because he is my weapon against the administrative state. I don’t support him, he represents me.
