In addition to being a featured writer in The Atlantic, David Frum is a tenured member of the republican professional political class. Frum has a similar pedigree to many well-known republican politicians, and his curriculum vitae includes:
“David Frum has been active in Republican politics since the first Reagan campaign of 1980. From 2014 through 2017, Frum served as chairman of the board of trustees of the leading UK center-right think tank, Policy Exchange. In 2001-2002, he served as speechwriter and special assistant to President George W. Bush.
David Frum holds a BA and MA in history from Yale and a law degree from Harvard, where he served as President of the Federalist Society. He and his wife Danielle Crittenden Frum live in Washington DC and Wellington, Ontario. They have three adult children.” (link)

I guess these RINOs are so arrogant that they fail to understand that IF THEY like a candidate, THEN WE won’t vote for them.
I’m tired of voting for RINOs.
BTW, is Wellington, Ontario, in the US? That’s Canada, huh? WTH do I give a ra$$ a$$$ what a guy living in Canada says about our elections. Ki$$ off.
Me too. Everyone needs to realize that if we’re going to do anything positive for our country, then we don’t want the acceptance of the Frum class. We want their hatred.
They think they can win without MAGA base.
They’ve made a calculation and are going fit broke.
You don’t understand. They don’t want to win. They want to lose.
This is best quote re 2024 election.
Repugnantcans don’t care if they win or lose. All they are doing now is building donation war chest
Also it is much easier for them to hide their corruption and graft when the Demonrats are in charge
Also it is much more lucrative to sell their votes to the highest bidder when Republicans are in the minority. Sundance has mentioned that trading influence as the minority leader is Mitch’s sweet spot.
They get paid well to lose
They use the calculation method of “New World Order Math”.
Lose-Lose every single time.
the MAGA base seems to be getting larger
than in 2016 and 2020
Did you notice his last sentence? “If defeated he’d go peacefully”? That’s all they want — a peaceful defeat!
Writes for the Atlantic that Steve Jobs widow owns.
They just had another article comparing AR 15s and rosary beads, what a great publication.
What they know, and to few supporters notice is… RINO is literally just a pronoun or synonym for Republican.
One way or another they’ve convinced supporters to simply elect a Republican to replace a Republican.
The private, board controlled corporate NGOs of the RNC, GOP and DNC very much appreciate that.
Maybe they do understand that if they endorse someone we won’t like them. Maybe they’re doing it on purpose. Maga needs all the help we can get. We don’t need infighting.
I am still waiting for anybody to tell me how De Santis is a Rino.
His policy decisions in FL have been spectacular, very conservative.
Oh I guess, there are sycophants across the political spectrum.
republic legislature
republican
Recall SD saying Congress doesn’t write legislation, it’s their job to sell it. The retort is We are not buying what Congress is selling.
Piggy Lizzy being a case in point!
Both my brothers told me they did not like Trump because of his personality and now both are vaxxed and boosted. I am going to say I do not like DeSantis’s personality just to be a family thorn.
Personality is irrelevant, if the job gets done! Biden is boring and he doesn’t have a good personality! He doesn’t get his job done!!!!
As long as the jobs gets done, it doesn’t matter if the person behind it
getting done can be a jerk.
How many persons on this board have worked for persons that were
Jerks at different times, but spectacularly successful at what they accomplished?
Had a high school band director who we revered. But, he was a drunk.
In junior high, was unlucky enough to be doing a solo before the band on
a day he showed up hungover. Got stopped every other measure. Wound up
crying. Even got consoled by some enemies.
Figured out the game later. That year was also the ONLY year I got a “1”
at solo and ensemble competition.
Sounds like the plot of Whiplash. Great movie about a brilliant jazz teacher who is also a big jerk.
I love Trump’s personality. He doesn’t talk like a politician and he does what he says. That is character!!
I’m not really excited about considering a candidate who you are already discussing how well he would Lose.
Loser.
Blog comment of the day!
Implied is “the GOPe can defeat him in the Primaries”.
Most of the early primaries are in blue or purple states, and it’s far from certain that DeSantis has the cross-over appeal Trump does.
This is how we always got stuck with squishes like Romney, McCain, Bush II, Dole, Bush I… Conservatives ran, but the issue had already been decided before most red states got the chance to have a say.
Make no mistake, Frum is not endorsing DeSantis, and would not support him in the primaries.
DeSantis would be easy to control from both parties!
The ‘forgotten men and women’ will be forgotten ‘no more’. After 575 days, yup, we are not forgotten, the thief in chief is coming after us! His memory seems pretty clear on that one.
We have had 575 days of losing and I am tired of that!
The Donald told us we would get ‘tired of winning’. I want that feeling back.
We want the tough guy from Queens,
who does not like to “lose”!
The Republican primaries are structurally rigged. The blue and purple states vote before most red states.
If the GOPe can get conservatives to back someone other than Trump, they are confident they can defeat that person. Probably without even having to stuff any ballot boxes.
That’s the game.
Boom – there it is.
Ah, David Frum, the Republican Party’s favorite loser…
We may have to amend “The Three Classic Blunders”
I am active with the Republican Party of Palm Beach County. President Trump is wildly popular for all the reasons sundance has described over the years. There is NO support of any kind for DeSantis over Trump. ZERO. Gov. DeSantis is wildly popular but he needs to win re-election and this is NOT a Red State.
The Left Media may be attempting to split Republicans but, on the ground, it is NOT working. Not one bit.
Thank you for your post!
It’s the oldest political trick in the world i.e., get somebody reprehensible (e.g. David Duke) to publicly support your adversary, thereby smearing and tarnishing the latter, followed by a constant hounding about why the reprehensible individual would support him.
David Frum is a totally INSIGNIFICANT, and despicable character. His thoughts are not in the least newsworthy!
As a matter of fact, I can’t imagine anyone less newsworthy!
He was a plant inside the Bush II administration at the same time arch-leftwinger David Brock (founder of Media Matters) was also a plant.
Correct. Trump is the Caesar we have, whether or not he’s the one we want. If it has to be, he’s the hill to die on.
“No dumb bastard ever won a war by going out and dying for his country. He won it by making some other dumb bastard die for his country.”
― George S. Patton Jr.
ANOTHER Pokes His Head Out for U.S. to Recognize as an OPPONENT.
( and PATTON WAS CORRECT as WAS MacArthur ! )
George C Scott was awesome as Patton. Trump has a lot of Patton in him. Patton could have beaten thee Russians if they let him.
In dog sports, a very common phrase is that you “work with the dog you have”.
I agree. If they pit DeSantis against Trump, DeSantis doesn’t win. Besides, Florida needs a strong governor.
It will be sad if DeSantis goes up against Trump rather than sticking by his side. I’d be greatly disappointed.
Republicans just can’t get it through their thick skulls that it’s Trump or no one.
In Chicago, retirees aspire to Arizona. In New York, Florida is the dream.
DeSantis needs to strengthen FL against the libs from the north and do what he does best.
my light bulb just went off…maybe that is why AZ has election integrity problems….
Ha!! The Chicago Way
Yes, because if Republicans win that puts them in the precarious spot of having to lead, for which they have absolutely no interest. They prefer to be the controlled opposition – it has been their calling card for some time now as well as being a means to collect large sums of campaign, foreign, and lobbyist cash that they promptly deposit in their personal accounts. As long as they remain the loser they get paid – if they win that well dries up and they have to perform, and this they have neither the stomach nor the desire to do.
Examples: Hastert, Boehner, Ryan – none of these “speakers” did anything to promote liberty and prevent encroachment of the federal leviathan into citizens’ lives – they did NOTHING except play with the already-overcomplicated tax code (by the way, my taxes never went down at all under any of these “tax cut” measures – except PDJT’s – and I’m sure that one pained Ryan to the max).
A true republican (small R) congress would severely defund the executive bureaucracy and attempt to right the ship by bringing the federal government back under constitutional constraints, but, alas, there is simply too much money flowing through DC to expect this to happen. As Sundance has detailed countless times, the congress does not make law anymore, they are there to advertise and sell the laws constructed by the lobby class. How else would we end up with thousand-page bills that have to be passed immediately or else? Or how else would we have omnibus “legislation” that passes in the dark of night with automatic debt ceiling increases? These “leaders” are following, not leading; these “representatives” are representing their sponsors, not the voters.
A major culling is required and the MAGA movement seems to have to momentum to do it (the TEA party initiative was torpedoed in its infancy) since many folks have taken the red pill and see exactly what the Matrix looks like.
God help us – please – today!
St. Lucie is with ya!
Excellent. Concur. Completely. Thank you for the clarity.
Thanks for sharing that positive message … I Love DeSantis and he’s proving himself able and potentially a true warrior .. BUT i know Trump is a gladiator period .. I’ve seen what he’s had to handle of the last 6 years .. i dont know that DeSantis (and i give him full credit that he likely might) would handle the amount of crap they’ve thrown at Trump … DeSantis, like most politicians, and why Trump is so hated by the establishment, has had to compromise and “reach agreements” for power broking — Trump has no such alliances or debts … its why DC and rinos despise him .. he is beholden to no one .. I cant even begin to understand what powers him .. i’ve gone into near catatonic states just reading what they put him through … but he gets up every day, puts on his armor, dons his shield and sword and comes out fighting the demon stream … its astonishing
love to hear it
Little Ronnie needs to win his re-election without PDJT’s help this time around. He needs to be in Florida governing the state, not running around the country involved in rallies with Trump endorsed candidates pretending that he is President Trump.
The #1 Criteria cited by this clown for Desantis is that he would be a “graceful looser”.
That publicly lays out the 2024 Presidential Campaign Plan of the RNC wing of the Uni-Party.
I have been reluctant to support a 3rd party but now that the RNC has laid out their plan to loose, 2024 is as good a time as any to start.
I say 2024 because President Trump has put allot of candidates in play, who may or may not actually buck the trend of being, as in Frum’s words, “a normal politician”. It will take a few weeks after 3 January 2023 (1st day the 118th Congress is seated) to see how many are actually not normal politicians.
Losing gracefully is the only thing GOP has done well since Reagan.
Right on. Bush the first, Bob Dole, John McCain, and Pierre Delecto come to mind.
“normal” politicians got us to this point here….I am SURE Frum considers the Turtle and McCarthy along with Schummer and Ryan, Piglosi, and others as “normal”…..I want some bomb throwers wanting to shake up this disaster of a government in DC
as you suggest .. i want warriors to go to DC .. i want people that’ll spit in demonazis faces — literally not figuratively, call them out for the insane sociopaths they are LOUD WITHOUT SUBTLETY … i want them to look at an outstretched fake handshake and say “i wouldn’t touch your repulsive human like body with a 10 foot pole and i’m not here to be your friend” … i want them to break every congressional rule of decorum and call demonazis out for the criminals they are .. i want them to totally mess up (damn i wish i wasn’t censored on here) every single legislative agenda .. i want them to totally physically intimidate them … crowd them .. get in their faces and scream .. call out the hysteria propaganda machine .. shame them .. every single moment …
Sounds like you’re describing Marjorie Taylor Greene.
You’ll know who those are by who the LSM is throwing shade on – Boebert and Greene being two good examples. McCarthy and McConnell not so much.
McConnell’s ploy of accepting so-called “conservative” appointees to the SC was his way of tossing conservatism a bone, knowing that this simply exonerates him from further calls by conservatives – after all, the SC has been making law for 75 years now and together with the administrative state, congress is basically irrelevant, except to be the salesmen for lobbist-written legislation, for which they are paid handsomely (the sales staff is the most generously compensated group in many corporations).
I have seen nothing in Desantis that indicates he would be a “graceful loser”. He battles the media just as effectively as Trump. Frum secretly loathes DeSantis, just hates Trump more.
Yup – the RINO establishment is the Washington Generals of politics. They are afraid to fight so opt for big paydays as graceful losing sell-outs.
.
I believe ‘we’ are very close to a ‘somewhat hostile’ take-over of the Republican Party.
Hold the line!
Both parties will be going through a metamorphosis soon, and for all we know, the RINOS will defect to the last gasping vestiges of the ‘Democrat-lite’ wing, to form that third party — that splintering would weaken the (D) party more so than the (R), IMHO . . .
DeSantis is a conservative.
Frum is very much not.
The GOPe doesn’t fight democrats, but they’re ruthless against conservatives.
And the primary schedule is front-loaded with blue states.
Kiss of death
Ah, yes, yes. A normal politician who will accept his defeat with peaceful resolution.
How nice. How very polite. Civil even. Yes, yes, indeed. A good man that DeSantis.
Exactly. Why can’t these clowns understand that Trump was us telling them we’re DONE with “normal” US politicians. Useless.
Why? It is not within the realm of one possessing The Dark Triad, to comprehend anything outside their little dark world.
We have never rebelled so clearly, that is why.
They view 2016 as a fluke, 45 as a charismatic rock star and figured our support would wane. Impeachments and Russia and the ‘Rona….
During his admin, our eyes were opened.
2020 was no fluke and had to be ‘rectified’.
They still don’t understand–they are that narcissistic, they really don’t, but they, like Liz Cheyney, realize that we are a force to be reckoned with, and will stop at nothing to achieve their goals of squishing us, like an annoying gnat.
They remain dumbfounded. But also realize something must be done.
aka a sheep for the demonazi slaughter
I will follow Trump into the darkness of the coming storm.
He’s earned my loyalty. There is no other.
If President Trump survives all that is coming his way to keep him off the RNC Primary Ballot as well as State ballots in November 2024, he has my vote. If he goes 3rd Party he has my vote.
There is still about 9 months to Primary Time and 2 years to election time.
check your timer on primaries……should be in LATE 2023 or EARLY 2024…think Nov 2023 is about the earliest
Nope, applications and petitions to be on State ballots is due allot earlier.
applying and “Primary time” are different matters entirely…….most likely you will have to be registered as a candidate in MOST states soon after the New Year to be on the primary ballot….they have to organize their ballot and send it to the printer
Nine (9) months to Primary Time? I had to re-read that a couple of times to get that you were talking about 1.5 years from today in early 2024 for the next primary season to begin in earnest. I would’ve phrased it closer to 9 months OF Primary time. Or did I get that wrong?
think NV or VT moved theirs to Nov….they keep fighting about who gets to go first
President Trump would be a YUGE write-in candidate, if it came down to that.
Not just to the gates of Hell, but to its deepest pits.
And for those fbi instigators, trying to sound macho, and actually encouraging armed responce?
So long as PDJT breathes, my powder stays dry.
Great advise either way.
i keep waiting for the day i hear the start of one of his speeches with … “We have tried to make peaceful redress of our Country from the hands of the demonazis/commies/totalitarians/criminals/scumbags ..,to return it to its Original Constitutionality, sadly without success and now that moment is upon us .. I Call On Every Patriot ….
we all know the rest …
i will follow Trump, as you say, to the gates of hell and into hell itself if asked — he only has to say the words … and we all know what those words are .. , however i’m not getting the jab (lol).
I especially like the “if defeated, he’d go peacefully…” tells you everything you need to know about the Republican Establishment.
Also makes one wonder if elections are rigged by Establishment.
No way. The Republican disinterest in election fraud must be caused by something else! Probably by a concern for Ukraine; with The Fate of All World Democracy and Righteousness in the balance, who wants to waste time finding out where Mitch McConnell’s votes come from?
Ukraine has been quiet, not much that I have seen in the news.
Also, I have noted, within the brief and weak border reports, that I have not heard the words “anchor baby” in a while.
**crickets**
Silence.
That’s a statement, too.
Deafening
Liz…You’re Fired!
It is just my opinion, but it is becoming obvious that Ron doesn’t want to give Trump ANY credit on anything. He seems like he is ignoring him.
Silence on the RAID.
Silence on 45.
Silence on Liz.
Grooming not to piss of GOPe donors.
This is sad to watch.
He won’t beat 45.
Standing against THE PEOPLES candidate Trump … will only lead to humiliating defeat, despair and gnashing of teeth.
Proving … undeniably PROVING !!! … what you just posted about DeSantis in the grooming stage with the GOPe power structure. That DeSantis has been disappeared into the Star Chamber of the check-pant country club Republicans … prepping him for his run against PDJT.
It won’t work. If DeSantis stands against Trump … his political career will become as OVER as Liz Cheney’s.
Has anyone ever seen Jennifer Rubin and Frum in the same room. I posit that they are the same person, prove me wrong.
I’m more inclined to think of it along the lines of “A stopped clock is right twice a day”
David Frum starts giving him money, let me know…
To sodakreedneck, South Central PA
A two fer: ( and thanks for the set up)
clocks are running anywhere near her general vicinity.
Mr David Frum and the GOPe party of surrender. No than you, have had a belly full of that failure.
David Frum is a conservative like David Brooks and Ross Douthat and Rich Lowry and George Will are. Run, don’t walk, away from anything espoused by these elitist d-bags.
your list seems to include what i call “roll over republicans” … they just love to roll over to the demonazi hysteria propaganda machine so they get a scooby snack and their bellies rubbed .. “good little conservative, good conservative … now fetch my trillion dollar boondoggle at taxpayer expense”
Ed Morrissey of Hot Air also qualifies for the above list.
All part of the pivot..
Wow, I ain’t touching this thread with a ten foot pole
The Atlantic is as American as the council on foreign relations
David Frum should go back to making poutine in Canada
It’s reverse psychology.
De Santis is the darling of the Nevertrumpers. Anyone but Trump. And he obviously is safer for the uniparty – then say Hawley.
Hawley is a “back up”, already seen blatantly positioning himself to try to get SOME of the 100 million MAGA army to get behind him.
Notice HE, HAWLEY was one of those leading the effort in Congress to decertify, or st least question the results, along with,…..Ted Cruz (THAT should be a major “tell”).
They had no problem POSITIONING themselves this way, because of,….?
The “insurrection” which ‘disrupted’ the process. After Congress reconvened, all talk of anything other than a swift, uncontested certification was GONE.
Point is, do not be deluded.
We have a small MAGA group in the House, not One in the Senate. Just posers and deflectors.
J6 “insurrection” was a preplanned event by DS in its entirety to short circuit wholesome debate on the theft and fraud of the 2020 STEAL
Rather, they’re confident they can defeat anyone but Trump in the primaries.
They’ve got it all planned.
You can’t compare little DeSantis to Big Donald Trump.
Little DeSantis falls short.
Frum not only supported Biden in 2020, and Hillary in 2016, he was neutral in 2012 and 2008. Palin was so terrible, per Frum, that he was OK with obama in 2008. In 2012, he didn’t really care whether it was Romney or Obama.
Cause there is no difference between Biden, Obama, Clinton, Bush or Romney
As long as he does not talk kindly about Nikki Haley…when he does, we run faster!
All well and good, but President Trump was not defeated.
To me anyone who claims Trump was “defeated”, is immediately suspect.
Rush used to have a few things to say about this milk toast Frum guy…. Yawn.
No thanks, I’ll stick with my VSGPDJT….
If defeated, he’d go peacefully. The main concern of rinos.
And the main reason why I can’t stand them.
Yeah first thing I think about in a candidate is how peacefully they might lose. TRUMP2024orBEFORE
An interesting word “coveted”.
Isn’t coveting a sin??
I don’t know what the rules are in various states… but, I’d like to propose that no matter what happens we should
WRITE IN DONALD J. TRUMP when we vote and ignore the RNC/DNC parties entirely.
I’ll say it again. I’m voting for Trump if I have to write his name in. I will also be voting for Trump endorsed candidates only. The rest of the GOP can go to hell, for all I care.
The GOP club and Conservative Inc. give the game away when they try to sell the base on dumping Trump for DeSantis when they say things like “DeSantis is everything Trump is, but without the baggage!” or “DeSantis is Trump that won’t alienate suburban soccer moms!”
As Florida Governor, DeSantis has nothing to do with the 3 tentpoles of the MAGA agenda – trade, immigration, and foreign policy. How can one claim DeSantis = Trump when we don’t know where he would stand on those 3 things? Yeah he might sound good when it comes to social issues and fighting back against the media, but that is part of the overall plan the club has for DeSantis – they know the day is over where they can’t trick the base to accept their club candidates anymore – the base has wised up. So now they are adapting and are trying to sell us a candidate who appears MAGA as a trojan horse.
we KNOW where DeSantis stands on all three at least in the past….he SUPPORTED TPP which means his policy is America LAST on those three issues
100% … DeSantis has been created to deceive. Soccer moms may be THAT stupid, but the rest of us aren’t.
Mutating, just like a virus
Why did he state that a Desantis nomination in 2024 “represented” in the past tense????
The guy has been around for a long time. Shows how cavalier he is. Does anybody care what he says????
I sure as hell don’t.
“UK center-right think tank” they put the hyphen in the wrong place
UK center right-think tank
and “President of the Federalist Society” — isn’t that the judicial advisory org used by GEOTUS ??
So looking out in the false media, they are pushing him as the standard bearer for various social issues.
Basically a dog whistle for MAGA. Meanwhile the looting will continue.
Funny thing, the first Republican to deliver on stopping the murder of babies as a federal policy, was PDJT.
The GOPe RNC and their representatives aren’t choosing my presidential candidate in 2024. They didn’t in 2016, 2020 – and won’t in 2024.
It matters not to me how many of “them” once again endorse anyone other than 45. I could care less what they say.
Nope
We have enough WEF puppets in high places.
Will never vote for a WEF loser like Ron!
And I’m sure DeSantis was thrilled to get it.
Very obvious what’s going on.
Wonder what PTs push back strategy is?
I’m guessing we’ll find out soon enough! 😉
And there you have it, ‘if defeated, he’ll go peaceably.’
Trump went peaceably, too, but this half-clever propagandist implies Trump instigated violence.
What’s this eel saying? That DeSantis is the new ‘Jeb!’? Will the campaign managers refer to him as ‘Ron!’ or ‘DeSantis!’?
Sounds as if they RINO’s have already picked their designated loser, doesn’t it?
“Better out come for the whole country”? Has he forgotten the months long BLM ARMED INSURRECTIONS?
Has he forgotten the Wuhan Flu?
Literally in 2020, we had MULTIPLE BLACK SWAN EVENTS HAPPEN that were NATION KILLERS! And in these Black Swan Events we saw the DEMONCRATS/PROGRESSIVES try to use it to HURT THE COUNTRY TO DEFEAT JUST ONE MAN!
In the end what Frum wants is a cowed MAGA party populated by SERFS.
oh – “The Atlantic” – yes, I saw a blurb the other day about an article they had about rosary beads becoming emblematic of extremism
Appealing to Mary in prayer, is only a problem for Satanic demons.
David Frum is a piso o sheeto.
This little canker blossom has been around for quite a long time.
If Rinos want DeSantis, then, he’s no good! Another McCain and Romney!!!
I’ll bet Frum thought JEB! was the P E R F E C T republican candidate… No thanks!
First, PDJT was NOT defeated (and Frum KNOWS that), he was cheated.
And second, Frum’s GOPe pedigree disqualifies from any analysis, opinion or commentary on conservative / MAGA politics. He should retire, go fishing or take up a hobby or occupation that has some merit or benefit.
David Frum’s Twitter Feed a few days ago – 08/15
“Unwelcome but important fact to face”
“Trump absconding with the country’s highest secrets – storing them unsafely – and then lying about returning them – SHOULD have upset his supposedly patriotic supporters. “
“It didn’t. “
“If anything … “
The Atlantic? That rag?
The Uniparty establishment doesn’t seem to view DeSantis as much of a threat. They seemed to at one point, but something changed.
That is a tell.
If the uniparty likes something, it’s no good.
That last sentence in Frum’s tweet “If defeated, he’d go peacefully. 9x” – that’s exactly why the Uniparty is pushing DeSantis, they know when he is defeated that they, the communists, can go back to radically transforming our beautiful country.
In a recent interview on American Thought Leaders, the historian Victor Davis Hansen posed the current online push between Trump vs DeSantis (paraphrasing) : what would you rather have to fight a cancer, chemotherapy or sugar water, where Trump is the chemotherapy that can and will kill the cancer, DeSantis and any of the other potential Republican candidates are sugar water?
The Uniparty has been at this game for a long time. Hopefully the majority of American’s want to finish the chemotherapy treatments.
Timing is everything; over the years have noticed that when a new politician comes into view, the effective ones get put into the limelight prematurely, before they can prove their metal and find their bearings. Sarah Palin was one, she caught the attention of that Uniparty bird and was thrust into national politics by McCain too early, he should have left her to prove herself under a full term as Governor of Alaska, instead, the Uniparty stopped that natural progress in order to bury it before other bright idea politicians started to follow her lead. We are fortunate that Sarah Palin is just as much a fighter as PDJT.
It’s that same timing disruption that the Uniparty is doing to DeSantis. Leave him alone, let him grow under a second term as Florida’s governor. Let him free to choose his timing, get his bearing. But no, that big two-winged vulture is doing everything it can to not let that happen.
Really hope Mr. DeSantis steps up and announces he is “called to see Florida through these next four years but thank you very much for the nice compliment”. And then do to the Republican faction of the Uniparty what he’s done to Disney!
i see people like bannon saying,”trump should announce”…others saying “desantis should announce”……i disagree….the only possible reason for announcing now would be for trump to use it as a wedge against prosecution/persecution….that i get….makes sense…
but i don
t like the idea of declaring almost two and a half years out....why put maga folks on the spot?...why make this a focus now?...the dems are totally destoying the country...focus on that...hell,we don
t want to give them a hard target any earlier than necessary..these two are the only ones im seeing right now that i would consider voting for....we have plenty of time for the trump/desantis debate to shake out....they might even come to an understanding between themselves.....
i dont want to give a nikki haley any chance to wheedle her way into contention(i
m convinced she wants to run and badly).....she would be the establishment
s wet dream girl…focus on the midterms….focus on inflation…the border…the money we`re throwing away on propping up zelensky..all this ridiculous democrat spending…on all the social/ cultural mayhem the dems are inflicting on our country….
they want us distracted and divided…
RINOs are endangered!
