Since the original innocuous tweet 48 hours ago, from a private account, which did not even use the name “Trump,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been absolutely silent about the illicit FBI raid on the home of Florida citizen and former President Donald J Trump. DeSantis is showing us all who he really is; but are you willing to accept it?
The raid on President Trump’s home is a moment for all to stand and take a position. On the day after the raid, much like the entire DC Decepticon establishment, Ron DeSantis hid in the bunker and kept quiet. No tweets. No appearances. Nothing that would create a situation where he would have to enter this ‘time of choosing.’ This is what politicians do. This is what Nikki Haley does. Avoiding controversy is not what war time leaders do.
On the second day after the raid, again with the politics of the issue as the dominating consideration, DeSantis releases a recording of a statement as Florida schools begin to open for the fall semester. Again, avoiding any situation where he would be asked to take a position on the raid. Please take note and pay attention. These are the moments that matter, the examples that show the true intents and motives of political leaders.
DeSantis is doing what he has been advised to do.
The silence of DeSantis is deafening.
DeSantis’ supporters, cheerleaders, GOPe promoters and sycophants will ignore it, but deep in their psyche they know what I am saying is true.
Ron DeSantis is a good governor for the state of Florida and has many attributes that make him important for a host of reasons, but this is not a war-time general. Ron DeSantis is a politician.
Accept things as they are, not as you would wish them to be. Because this is the same man that many people would select to face the greatest enemy to our republic. DeSantis is showing us right now that he does not possess the courage, desire in scale, or ability to fight the enemy we face in this battle.
DeSantis is a good finisher, a good maintainer, a good and solid ally who operates well when surrounded by the fortune of an aligned legislative body; but he is not yet the weapon that can stop the corrupt UniParty enemy within our republic.
There are moments that show the character of the politicians in the club apparatus. The pathetic and embarrassing Ted Cruz speech at the 2016 RNC nominating convention was one of those moments. The response, or lack thereof, to an illegitimate FBI raid on the personal home of the leader of the republican party is yet another.
Accept things as they are, you will be far less disappointed later on.

I am thinking that Ben Carson would make a good VP. Quiet strength, intelligent, and loyal to PDJT. He is strong and bold in his own way. He is not a squish, not beholden to anyone, and trusts the Lord for wisdom.

But from what I’ve seen of Sears, she has that look in her eyes that says she’ll take no guff, an ex Marine, smart as a whip, a Christian, rock solid on the Second Amendment…just to name a few of her standout qualities.
And this…she reminds me very much of Margaret Thatcher. I recognize that is a personal feeling. But as I watched Thatcher for most of her time as PM, Sears strikes me as having that steely, won’t tolerate fools (at all) nature.

I had high hopes for DeSantis but it is better to find out now what kind of Republican the guy is than later when so much is riding on who we back for the Presidency.
Judging someone by what they do not say is very tricky. If your demand for signal is so great that you’ll put DeSantis to the curb because he hasn’t spoken within 24 hours, you’ll never trust a real leader.

Going to have to disagree here. Since Trump left office no other leader has done more for his constituents than Ron Desantis, he made Florida a safe haven in the midst of all the craziness with covid, has been on the front line in the fight to keep our kids safe in the classroom, hell kicking out Soros prosecutors, the guy has done a lot not just talking, but real tangible actions that have made Florida better, quite frankly no other state I would want to be in at the moment. Sundance you live in Florida is there anyone else doing it better in another state? Lets not forget he is doing this not in a deep red state but in a state that is close to 50/50.

Sundance did not denounce him, he just pointed out that he is a great governor, but not up to Trump level for leadership as president. Not being a great general does not make him bad at what he is doing. He is being positioned nationally as the kinder gentler and less problematic Trump and I am hearing from a lib friend in DC that he has liberal support. This is not an all or nothing proposition.

The Governor is the head of a State in which one of its prominent citizens has just had their civil rights violated. He may be seeking legal counsel on what he can do and should say. Would hate for him to foil future actions because of posturing and grandstanding.
He could have easily said “What happened to President Trump today is OUTRAGEOUS!” He didn’t even mention Trump’s name!
We all want a warrior. If I may make an observation, we have J6 prisoners who are having their rights violated everyday for over a year and a half at great emotional and financial costs to them and their families. To my knowledge PDJT has not come out strongly to defend or help them. If speaking out is our standard, then let’s hold ALL our leaders to the same standard.

DeSantis has done some great things, but Jeb Bush did great things when he was governor of Florida, too. He was among the most conservative of the governors at the time. I remember.
DeSantis started his political career before Trump was around. He was a U.S. representative in 2012. He was making his contacts and getting his funding and getting his backers . . . . Those are the entities he serves.
The reality is: if you don’t have much money, you need your campaign to be funded, and you do what your financial backers want.
And if you want to make politics your CAREER . . . as DeSantis obviously does . . . then you have to think, “I’m 44. How many more years will Trump be alive? If I tie myself to Trump, then the big Wall Street globalist money won’t fund me, and I’ll never continue in office. Will Trump’s children fund me? Well, they have billions, but . . . Wall Street globalists have BILLIONS BILLIONS. I can’t really upset them. And . . . I can’t really upset the people of Florida, either. I have to do things for them, too. It’s a balance.”

DeSantis could be silent because he is planning a strategy to deal with this in the future, like kicking out all Federal agencies from Florida. Sometimes it is best not to say anything until you pounce on the enemy by surprise. Maybe he is planning the use of the Florida National Guard.
DE SANTIS is campaigning with Trump backed candidates and is also appearing in Arizona with Kari Lake and others and in Pennsyvania with Mastriano. He is one hundred Percent backing Donald Trump. This administration is setting up the nation for a declaration of Martial Law before the November elections. While reading this article I had some questions brought forth in my mind.
1. Is there a valid reason to remain quiet as Governor concerning a Florida citizen’s violation of his rights under the U.S. Constitution which Florida State also guarantees?
2. Can criminal charges be brought forth by the Sheriiff to the State against the crime by FEDS against a Florida citizen in Florida?
I think a State can legally charge the FEDS in State court for violating the State’s guarantee of a Florida citizen’s Rights in Florida.
Im not a lawyer, but it seems to me it could be done.

DeSantis may not be perfect but neither is Trump. If we apply the same standards to Trump that we apply to DeSantis we can also be disappointed.
As a big supporter of Trump I have been disappointed a number of times. I’m especially disappointed by his poor judgment in appointments who always seem to end up backstabbing him. I’m disappointed in his lack of Support for innocent J6 protesters in the Gulag. I am especially disappointed in his handing over the authority to declassify to William Barr. I have been disappointed in his purely defensive approach to the DOJ and FBI during his presidency. You can’t have more power than the presidency.
Also, DeSantis never linked his star to Trump and Trump never linked his star to DeSantis. They have both operated independently, each with their own interests. DeSantis may very well think he would be a better president, which is his right and privilege.
Right now I support both Trump and DeSantis. so far I haven’t seen anybody else.
