Hollywood actor James Caan has died, he was 82-years-old. Caan was famous for his roles in many historic movies, perhaps the most well-known was his role in the Godfather.
Caan had a Twitter account [SEE HERE] where he would often post pictures from some of his movies. There is a lot of memories in those pictures.

Rest in peace Sonny,
“fair winds and following seas.”
🙁
Why this? SMH
I imagine most of the verbiage about his passing will be about The Godfather but for me, his turn in Rollerball was his greatest.
Rollerball was a great satire on/against mass entertainment and corporations controlling the planet. It also featured John Houseman and Ralph Richardson in great form!
Brian’s Song. If you ever need a good cry that is the one to watch.
He described his politics as “ultra-conservative”. I liked his role in “Thief” best, as did he. “Rollerball” was fantastic.
RIP
Liotta and now Cann. Two of my all time favorites from the olden days when movies were worth watching. Bill Paxton was another favorite of mine. RIP
Stiller, Penn, and Di Niro need to go
Strange day. Boris getting fired, Caan passing away, and Abe shot.
James Caan was great. He and his son could be twins. I have to say Dad is/was a far better actor. Condolences to the family.
He was great in one of my all time favorite films, El Dorado. RIP.
I know, a low grade movie, but I always liked Alien Nation.
As airborne staff sergeant Eddie Dohun in “A Bridge Too Far”.
One of the good guys (Conservative!) in Hollyweird.
Love The Godfather, but I will always enjoy watching Mr. Caan in Elf! every Christmas.
