It was obvious when the J6 Committee began using their unilateral subpoena authority to demand phone records, text messages, documents and emails, that part of their plan was to leak/release internal GOP discussions amid politicians that would anger the MAGA voters ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
Part of the J6 goal is to create division and sow animosity amid the Republican Party. DUH.
However, what the J6 Committee doesn’t seem to realize is that MAGA voters already know the scheming, conniving, duplicitous rats within the Republican political ranks. Heck, we already hate most of them, so outing Kevin McCarthy as a slimeball is about as surprising as sunrise. DUH²
The MAGA and D-MAGA base have so much experience hating the professionally Republican RATS, there just isn’t a lot that’s going to surprise us.
Factually, the Republican Party is a structural institution, and as a consequence, all the professional people within it are vessels to accomplish a goal – nothing more.
Donald Trump was/is not just our candidate, he’s our murder weapon; the GOPe is our victim. DUH³
Not surprisingly, the New York Times runs a column intended to show Republican voters how much the Republican political leadership hate us. Are we supposed to put on our shocked face now?
The overwhelming majority of Republican voters are ‘strategic Republican voters.’ We cannot destroy the DC apparatus without a vessel to enter the swamp, so We The People chose the GOP club as the vessel to do it.
You can read the New York Times article HERE. Essentially, the gist of it is that Republican House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Republican Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell hate the base of the Republican electorate, and both are lying and conniving political creatures who love the indulgences of DC.
The J6 angle looks like this, and apparently there’s a J6 book coming out which benefits from the effort:
…”In the days after the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol building, the two top Republicans in Congress, Representative Kevin McCarthy and Senator Mitch McConnell, told associates they believed President Trump was responsible for inciting the deadly riot and vowed to drive him from politics.” (more)
According to the book/article, “The Democrats are going to take care of the son of a bitch for us,” Mr. McConnell said, referring to the imminent impeachment vote in the House.” Meanwhile, Kevin McCarthy worked to undermine Trump from the House, “Mr. McCarthy said he would tell Mr. Trump of the impeachment resolution: “I think this will pass, and it would be my recommendation you should resign,” he said, according to the recording of the call, which runs just over an hour.”
After the New York Times article ran yesterday, slimeball Kevin McCarthy denied the statements attributed to him. However, Liz Cheney – just like her father – being a creature of the swamp’s deepest, most vile and Machiavellian tribe, was recording the call for later use.
In R.A.T world, it’s what the rats do. Here’s the recording:
.
Apparently, this is supposed to make us hate Liz Cheney and Kevin McCarthy – as if, we didn’t already.
The Democrats are putting a lot of effort into exposing the RATS on the right wing of the UniParty. I don’t know how the rest of the MAGA base looks at this, but it just seems silly. We already hate the GOP leadership, so this is kind of like a big ‘meh’, whatevs.
Is there really a large group of commonsense middle class MAGA voters who would be surprised to hear/see/read about the duplicity of Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy? If so, they certainly don’t hang around this website. We’ve been outlining these creeps for years; and, generally speaking, while we don’t put any energy into hating them, the professional republican leadership are irrelevant to the tasks at hand.
Republican leadership sucks, and tomorrow is Saturday.
I am getting so tired of this vessel to the point I’m tempted to get out and swim on my own. What has the “lesser of two evils” approach got us? It is still evil. It is just a slightly slower acting poison that still kills you eventually. Yes, I know. Whining doesn’t solve anything. I wish there was a third party that could be viable but apparently there isn’t. Washington warned us of a two-party system.
Kevin McCarthy is the boy cheerleader. Not athletic enough to be on the sports team, not smart enough to be on the academic teams, and nobody really likes him except his mom.
But, there he is on the sideline with the megaphone and the sweater, creeping everybody out and making them wish he’d just go away.
Trump resign? For what possible reason? Why? McCarthy and Cheney are stupid. No different than the Dem leadership.
Still think it was a huge mistake for Trump not to start his own party. Supposing he is elected again in 2024, it will be a repeat of 2016: Trump will be facing a hostile Republican Congress bent on blocking his agenda.
You must try harder to keep up.
President Trump has his ‘own’ party. It’s called the Republican Party. He is the kingmaker, the most significant fund-
raiser, and all the never-Trumpers know they are now living on borrowed time, and that time is getting shorter by the day.
The midterms will annihilate the opposition, and 2024 will return President Trump to the Oval Office with a huge Republican majority in the House and the Senate.
In short – candidates can be on board the Trump Train or lying on the track.
What Bob said.
Unless they steal the election. They do have experience at that.
Insanity. What light are you seeing that makes you think we will get a different outcome? The opposition has been annihilated before. We gave the GOP a TRIFECTA MAJORITY from 2001- 2007 and the first 2 years of Trump. The GOP establishment fought tooth and nail turn a promising win into a tragic loss. There are more RINO’s in the GOP than real Republicans.
You nailed it Clyde.
We see what you did there…lol
The problem is it is very profitable to be a RINO. You never have to come up with workable ideas then argue for them and work to get them enacted, just say you oppose the democrats then cave at the last minute. For that the lobbyist will reward you well.
<cough> Dr. Oz<cough>
I am with you David. It’s the old wash, rinse, repeat cycle…this machine will never get the dirt out, because we are using mud instead of detergent in the wash cycle. The midterms will solidify Republican power….for a while. We may get President Trump back…for a while. But as you say, he will still face the same opposition from the GOP leadership. The names may change, but the results will be the same. The Dems and the Decepticons or whatever you want to call them are too entrenched. If Trump fired everyone that so richly deserves firing, he would be working virtually alone. We are past the point of repairing this old junker, I fear. We need to put it down and start over, from the ground up, for our posterity.
Well, the problem is that if he won in 2024 as leader of a new party he would have to rely on a new party majorities in the house and senate to get the agenda through.
You think in a couple of years he would have vetted all the correct people, hundreds of them, and the new party get enough outright wins to form that majority in 2024?
You make it sound so simple but it isn’t.
What would be more likely to happen is that a lot of republicans with a small “r” would still vote for the GOP candidate and that would split the vote and allow a possible dem landslide.
Just like the very suspicious candidacy of Lin Wood in south Carolina split the conservative vote allowing the grifter to get in.
I don’t know what the answer is because the USA is corrupt from top to bottom and has been invisibly taken over many decades ago.
The results of that takeover are only now becoming apparent and in the public view and that makes people think it is a recent phenomenon but it is not.
Come on 23rd!
Rid us of this pest.
“The Democrats are putting a lot of effort into exposing the RATS on the right wing of the UniParty. I don’t know how the rest of the MAGA base looks at this, but it just seems silly. We already hate the GOP leadership”
I applaud their effort, even as I understand their motives. Sure beats all the beaten spouses on the Right who try to argue, against all evidence, that there’s something salvagable in the GOP. If the Dems can help break the wall of inertia and denial on our side, then why not?
Mcarthy is the presumptive speaker. His qualifications are it’s his turn. Regardless of talent, honor or integrity. If he ends up with that gig the debt ceiling debate will occur as it always does..It will be raised. Bills will be thousands of pages long with ‘riders’ that cost billions. Business as usual is what we can expect..Don’t forget the speech he’ll give if he gets the gavel…
’Ive dedicated my life to public service.. Ive been a champion of Woman and children’s rights. Protecting the elderly. Protecting our environment’ sos
I think someone should primary McCarthy. Need $$.
McCarthy raised $31M in the first quarter 2022 breaking his record of $27M in the first quarter 2021. Somehow I have a feeling he ain’t goin’ nowhere. It doesn’t mean that he has to be elected speaker but when someone can raise that kind of money, it is difficult for members of the Uniparty to ignore him. DC runs on cash and swamp creatures are beholding to anyone with the ability to raise it.
Somehow we need to find a way to take these obscene amounts of money out of the campaign process. I’m not talking about traditional “campaign finance reform” (aka McCain Feingold). I mean take away the incentive. Imagine what could be done with that kind of money. Fund X number of charter schools that are not connected to the public education machine, pay for rehab for every homeless drug addict, finish the border wall, find a cure for cancer – the possibilities are endless.
Two things about the call stuck out to me.
First, it seemed like Cheney was setting him up for these sound bites by using leading questions.
Second, she asks about the 25th Amendment but his response seems to be about impeachment not the enforcement of the 25th A.
The GOP is Bushwood in the movie Caddyshack, and Trump is Rodney Dangerfield. Rodney broke down the gate, joined Bushwood, and exposed all the frauds. Trump is doing the same thing to the GOP, and we the people are loving it.
OMG, love the rat cartoon and DUH2 &3rd power Sundance. Pure satirical genius. The wife and I LOAO this morning.
This will never be changed by election and the GOP / RNC will never be the vessel.
We’re a century too far gone.
A independent state will be the only option but untill we kick the RNC out of one were flatly stuck.
One swap rat screwing over another? Good they’re both finished now. Hopefully real conservatives will lead the senate and congress after the coming November blood bath….
Right on.
Well known RINOs –
Notice how McCarthy had to immediately bow to Trump when it leaked out.
Screw Cheney.
Duh (4,5,6,7,8)
Honestly, have they not noticed that MAGA is different from the GOP and MAGA is taking over the GOP? Anyone asked Rona McDaniel lately about how well they are doing?
There is a split in the GOP the size of the Grand Canyon and we are destroying them along with the Democrats. These people are stupid.
Kevin….Come on man. The lights are on, your pants are around your ankles and someone else’s wife is on the couch. You can’t just say I’m not here!
