This is layers of odd. As many readers are aware, the prices of fertilizer have skyrocketed as supplies have been heavily impacted by increased energy costs and supply chain issues. Many people have worried if a shortage of fertilizer may impact farm yields this year.
Against this backdrop CF Industries, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of hydrogen and nitrogen fertilizer, is warning its customers that Union Pacific Railway Lines is now restricting the amount of container tonnage they will permit. [Press Release Here]
CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CF), a leading global manufacturer of hydrogen and nitrogen products, today informed customers it serves by Union Pacific rail lines that railroad-mandated shipping reductions would result in nitrogen fertilizer shipment delays during the spring application season and that it would be unable to accept new rail sales involving Union Pacific for the foreseeable future. The Company understands that it is one of only 30 companies to face these restrictions.
CF Industries ships to customers via Union Pacific rail lines primarily from its Donaldsonville Complex in Louisiana and its Port Neal Complex in Iowa. The rail lines serve key agricultural areas such as Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, Texas and California.
Products that will be affected include nitrogen fertilizers such as urea and urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) as well as diesel exhaust fluid (DEF), an emissions control product required for diesel trucks. CF Industries is the largest producer of urea, UAN and DEF in North America, and its Donaldsonville Complex is the largest single production facility for the products in North America.
“The timing of this action by Union Pacific could not come at a worse time for farmers,” said Tony Will, president and chief executive officer, CF Industries Holdings, Inc. “Not only will fertilizer be delayed by these shipping restrictions, but additional fertilizer needed to complete spring applications may be unable to reach farmers at all. By placing this arbitrary restriction on just a handful of shippers, Union Pacific is jeopardizing farmers’ harvests and increasing the cost of food for consumers.”
On Friday, April 8, 2022, Union Pacific informed CF Industries without advance notice that it was mandating certain shippers to reduce the volume of private cars on its railroad effective immediately. The Company was told to reduce its shipments by nearly 20%.
CF Industries believes it will still be able to fulfill delivery of product already contracted for rail shipment to Union Pacific destinations, albeit with likely delays. However, because Union Pacific has told the Company that noncompliance will result in the embargo of its facilities by the railroad, CF Industries may not have available shipping capacity to take new rail orders involving Union Pacific rail lines to meet late season demand for fertilizer. Planned food shortages. They hate you and want to make you their slaves.
Zero doubt–they want some slaves but the vast majority of Peons dead. The Famine follow up to the poison injection seems to be the plan with more “plagues” scheduled….
Lock and load…
So true Samurai.
Getting much much closer to time to Storm the Bastille.
Sadly, “lock and load” means protecting my property because its sole purpose is growing food. I have layers upon layers of security, but will it be enough? Hard times, they are a coming.
Let me know if you need a long-range marksman to help you out…
My regards. Perhaps you should look to what measures Rhodesians & South African farmers do to try and stop the Liberal government sponsored attacks on the White Afrikaner farms. Democracy was brought there and subsequent ruin ensued

Right you are.
Slaves can’t serve their “masters” if they’ve been starved.
The starving French peasants managed over two hundred years ago to do just that and it did not end well for the pampered, spoiled Monarchy.
Also the starving peasants of Russia which took out their Czar, which was sad but what do these leaders expect when they live in luxury while the millions of citizen’s children go hungry.
These people live in endless bubbles of ignorance and lies.
They think their idea of control over the masses will work out.
it is human nature to push back and push back hard.
This is something that the so called “elites” of the world never ever learn.
An end result I’ll bet none of our future”masters” have considered, so filled with hubris are they…I agree. I do believe they actually think it will work this time…one way or another, they will be disabused of their grotesque folly.
Hi Bet. In Rhodesia they caused the food shortages by either ethnically cleansing the farms or murdering the farmers and their families and workers so there is no food for the people. Mugabe’s sister wanted Terry Ford’s farm so she had him brutally murdered so she could take it over (and not farm it)
I remember it all, Colkitto. It was with horror that I watched it all play out, and I’ll never forget it. And I remember thinking, foolishly perhaps, that that sort of brutality and organized starvation was particular to Africa in general, Zimbabwe in particular, or the Holodomor historically… never in our “civilized” western world.
But there is no doubt that this is what is being effected in our no longer “civilized” countries. I look at all of this with a sort of dispassionate eye. Because I still have trouble imagining this degree of pure evil. Yet intellectually I know it exists because I am watching it metastasize to a level and depth that I believe has no reversal or brake.
There are only two answers for this. One, we eventually take matters into our own hands… or, two, our Higher Authority will intervene. What a terrible place we are in, and it’s in plain sight. How there are millions who can’t see, never mind understand it, is beyond my ken.
I’m so glad you caught me…because I did want to wish you a joyous Easter, my dear friend. May all its blessings and hopes be with you and anyone…all…you love. Bet🙏
My sincere thanks, appreciation, and best to you and your family and friends.

But who is targeted for famine (assuming that is the plan).
If crop yields diminish, will foodstuff be used domestically or exported?
Countries that need to import their food may be the ones to suffer. Sub-Sahara Africa could be in for a world of hurt.
Peru is having large protests/riots due to lack of fuel and food shortages yet Wal Mart has a lot of fruit and produce from Peru. Does that tell you?
Really, take a look at the movie called The Killing Fields.
Children were re-educated as the enclaved task masters.
I remember it, doug. Once seen, never forgotten.I’m not sure I could manage another viewing. It never leaves you that one.
The elites will always retain & protect a “servant class.” They’re not going to wash their own car, mow their own lawn, walk their own dog, etc. Even Louis & Marie at the end (before the guillotines) had a retinue of loyal servants. Today you can see this in elite policies. They’ll give handouts to and support the poor, but they refuse to do anything to help small businesses thrive. Who they’re writing off or sacrificing is the middle class. When the middle class is obliterated creates a safe “moat” between them and their servants, none of whom can then ever rise to join their ranks. Their elite bubble is thus presumably secure…..
The only possible reason. This cannot be anything but deliberate, the consequences are too obvious to be simple ignorance.
What is the reasoning by Union Pacific given?
Union Pacifico’s Chicago hub has perpetually been at capacity; last year they even unmothballed one of its decommissioned yards and it was a drop in bucket.
All of those pics of all of the container ships stranded in California? Those containers have finally managed to get offloaded and pushed into US’ at-capacity transportation system.
The reasonable response would be for UP to engage in capital upgrades to its system. But UP is no longer directed by its reasonable business interests but instead by the special interests for yearly profits by its largest shareholders.
And so, here we are.
A logical reason is lack of diesel engine power. Is it possible supply chain transportation issues/inefficiencies are impacting diesel productivity? Doubtful there’s a labor issue. UP fertilizer production points will be forced to utilize longer haul trucks. Trucks that won’t be available in the heat of the spring season. Weather becomes very important in the unwinding of transportation shortages.
UP doesn’t have a power shortage. They have plenty of locomotives in storage. They have labor issues do to gross, shortsighted, shareholder oriented, mismanagement
Heard from A UP employee in 1997 during the ongoing labor dispute at the time:
“You can’t spell stupid without UP.”
And their stock has doubled over the past few years.
I read here earlier this is a result of a labor strike in Canada rail yards.
I think UP is trying to sort out its supply chain backlog, and any company being told to “slow it down” will likely complain loudly about the dire effects, because it will impact their bottom line. Grain shippers were previously complaining THEY weren’t being given sufficient priority for shipping. Now CF is using that same argument. But UP only has the cars and personnel they have, and there aren’t enough of either available at this moment. BNSF and other railroads are currently going through the same tug of war between shipping customers. Federal regulators will probably be picking who goes first, unless they affirm the choices the railroads are already making.
IMO, UP is concerned with flow over their entire system, while CF is saying, “Me first. Or else…” Each side has their own interests at heart, and those interests are in conflict. Here’s an article from a shipping logistics trade publication with a bit more balance than Sundance’s pick (His article is from CF itself, so naturally it only reflects their position.)

Good timing, I am mineral oiling two cases today of eggs for long term refrigerator storage. Could have bought the eggs way cheaper had I done it sooner. Once oiled and refrigerated they will last a year in the fridge, and you only have to flip the cases once a month to keep the yolks from sticking to one side.
Hopefully the grid doesn’t go down when everyone is forced to go out and buy those $80 Grand Electric Vehicles when fuel stops being delivered. Good times, good times.

“Economic security is national security” ~ Trump
The above two statements are usually my go-to quotes or starting point when some “unavoidable” or “unforeseen” circumstance(s) happens which affects the people.
True, bureaucrats can be pretty foolish at times, but one of the things that TPTB (the powers-that-be) are really good at is executing or reproducing updated, destructive, totalitarian strategies that have worked in the past against the people… especially the middle class.
These individuals are excellent at packing in multiple destructive strategies, while at the same time making these strategies turn a profit for connected individuals or interests.

When do we get a larger, stronger, quicker cat that can counteract these suspicions before they destroy us?
Asking for nation.
There’s probably far more to this story. Ask a farmer if the diesel engine in his tractor will run without DEF. It’s my understanding that in current generation equipment the on-board computer that monitors emissions will shut everything down absent DEF. How about combines?
… “diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) going to be the norm for high-horsepower diesel engines,”
… “That means the pickups you drive, the semis you drive, the school buses your kids ride on, your tractors, your construction equipment – it’s all going to use DEF now.
… “Equipment manufacturers are using selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet Tier 4 final emission standards. This technology injects DEF into the diesel engine exhaust system to achieve the necessary emission reduction by breaking down particulate matter and nitrogen oxide.
… “DEF is 32.5% synthetic urea and 67.5% de-ionized water.”
[Taken from Successful Farming ~ 5/7/2014~< (I had no idea about DEF until now)]
Its called AdBlue here in the UK and Europe.
We have more than enough blue over here.
More than enough.
I was watching a video on that stuff and for every gallon of fuel you needed 1 gallon of exhaust treatment. So, to get the same number of operating hours, you would need twice the storage capacity!
That would double the number of fuel stops if you tried to exist on the fuel capacity you had before. Top of my head the DEF would add at least 7lb per gallon.
I don’t know what you were watching that said there was a 1:1 relationship of Diesel to DEF but modern Diesel engines consume between 0.02 gallons to 0.05 gallons of DEF per gallon of diesel fuel. It is true that if the sensors that are required by the EPA to be on every Diesel engine since 2016 detect any malfunction in the DEF system they require the engine control module to “derate” the vehicle performance to 5 mph.
That video was way off. Although emission regulations (out here in flyover country) are indeed insane.
Time to go back to steam. It’s still doable. And with our current level of technology scalable.
Look up wood gasification driven vehicles. Used widely during WWII. Plans are around for this workable system.
No, time to get rid of those intentionally making life so hard!
And the government would be on you like white on rice.
It has never been about the environment or economics.
Negative- you can delete the DEF on diesel engines. I have 3 F250’s n 2 tractors all deleted and “rolling coal”. Ie: black smoke out exhaust.
Deleting the DEF on a class 6-7-8 truck which is EPA10 or newer will result in a very bad month for the driver and company.
They’ll get around to you too eventually.
Can’t everything just run on cow farts?
Amazingly the Earth burbs and farts way more methane on a yearly basis than all the animal sources put together, including humans. Even if you eliminated all the methane animals in the US you’d still have to get rid of all the methane producers worldwide. I read India has the most cows of all the countries on Earth. And, since cows are considered sacred in India I think you’d have a very difficult time eliminating them. It seems at last count India has over 300 million cows. Of course you’d have to kill off all the grazing animals in African just to begin to make a dent in the methane emissions. But, that won’t stop the Global Warming cultists. They’re on a mission to save the planet.
Interesting times!
What’s coming next?
A 5 year fixed mtg at Canadian Banks has increased by approx 2% over the last little while.
Our Marxist government has just increased the tax our Banks pay on their profits.
We have a massive disruption in our rail transportation too. Canadian Pacific Railway are in the midst of a large labour dispute.
Canadian Pacific Railway moves a significant number agricultural products South and into the U.S.
It sure seems like it is all by design.
Cheers!
With Ukraine being prominent in the news lately, and now this, Suspicious Cat might be remembering what was happening in Ukraine ninety years ago.
Right now, a lot of land has been contaminated by the destruction of war. Destroyed tanks, trucks, spilt fuel, burned buildings and their contents. That stuff cannot be healthy for any land or water table.
I don’t know if its spread to farm land there, but certainly their cities and suburban land and the air quality of Mariupol and Kiev.
Not a tree hugger but concerned for what poisons will make into the Ukrainian and other population’s bodies. For sure i would avoid bottled drinking water from over there.
I do not think your mind and typing fingers are working together.
A big problem is all the diesel that is still available in Ukraine is being diverted from farming to military vehicles. Regardless of the fighting, not much sowing going to happen this spring.
A lot of the drinking water is radioactive anyway. People bring water from deep wells on dachas to drink. There’s nothing like a shower in cold water that burns.
Famous for it’s rich black soil farmland, 1st Chernobyl and who knows what has been done to the land – some of the most fertile on the planet we were taught in US grade school. People say flee the cities but I remember an entire forest right next to Prescott AZ, totally dead and never an acknowledgement of it as far as I could see. A few years prior I had been fishing in a local lake (Lynx I think) and some Birkenstocks came tramping through on a mission – to tell us that the water was so poison that we had best not eat any catch – that the state just puts them in for weekend anglers. There was zero wildlife at night.
We put goodies out to lure them (for photos) and they never came. This was already decades ago and I have never seen these truths emerge even with the evolution of internet. So no, I do not feel safe in rural areas.
I doubt the Orthodox Christian Russians are dropping depleted Uranium like the US/NATO did in their war criminal illegal bombing of Belgrade, but the Zelensky “Nazis” might be

The Company was told to reduce its shipments by nearly 20%.
The company was told to reduce shipments by WHOM??? Oh, and by the way, if it’s not to much to ask, I would like to know the truth to that question………..
I wonder who those other companies are that were also told them would have their shipments reduced by 20%? And the question is why? Why would a company do this knowing they are losing money.
According to how I read the article…..CF Industries is the company and it was told to reduce its shipments by 20% by Union Pacific.
Yes, but who made this decision and why?
Read the post again. The largest share holders made the decision.
And U.P. itself mandated the reduction.
From the article, there is no suggestion the government created the mandate.
It’s sort of blatant, and that’s not good, though not new these days.
“Oh,” says incurious journalist. “I forgot to ask that [important] question.”

All by design.
Remember the Georgia runestones. This has been planned a long time ago.
You mean the Georgia Guidstones in Elbert County, Georgia. And, they’ve only been up since 1980. Not all that long ago. But, the Malthusian imperative has been around for quite some time. Well, at least since 1798 when Thomas Robert Malthus contrived his concepts on overpopulation.
I’ll give them credit. Their long term planning and plan execution is excellent. It a shame the have the entire play book and we’re just watching it unfold. If it weren’t for CTH we’d be entirely blindsided.
Amen.

freeing up tonnage for heavy weapons to Ukraine
Probably the correct answer.
If this is our direction, then the country is about to be committed to an evil war – one we may never be forgiven for.
Vanguard is the largest mutual/ETF fund, so they would dive into cyanide plants if they saw a way to ramp things up.
Remember, equity and futures is one large casino and the casino always wins.
Go long urine, $URN. 10:2:4.
It seems after John C. Bogle died Vanguard has become evil personified. Bogle was one of the original founders of Vanguard. Vanguard is now being run by an evil cabal. After joining up with BlackRock the direction they’ve taken is definitely eye popping. They immediately went woke and enjoy shoving it down your throat.
Reduced to farming states. “one of 30 companies to face these restrictions”…”mandated without notice”…those phrases bother me deeply. Illinois is into corn as is Iowa. Corn is in our gas tanks here, big time. I smell a rat. Not a barn rat, a DC rat.
”mandated without notice”
I’m thinking we’re all about to be accused of being a bunch of conspiracy theorists. In the midst of dodging those slings and arrows, we’re going to have to do a thorough analysis of the excuses we are about to be given as the reason for this “mandate”
Whatever they tell you, it’ll all be lies. They should hire Jen Psaki since she’s quite adept at it by now.
Yep in the same vein as why with $7.00 gas and trillions of barrels of oil in the ground in the US, our government fights tooth and nail to keep it their.
Maybe the reason for that is the price of corn hovering above $7 for several months. Every farmer I know, including me and the one that farms my acreage, are selling all the corn they can as fast as they can. Every day there are grain haulers on the road to the elevators. Usually corn is held until just before harvest to get maximum price.
Thanks.
Surely we can all wait a bit longer for our Amazon/China home decor items to be delivered in order to allow UP to prioritize delivery of season-sensitive agricultural inputs?
China is closing down their ports as we speak. So anyone waiting on their cheap Chinese home decor items may be waiting a long long time.
Maybe they will only supply fertilizer to the States accepting illegal immigrants aka “refugees”? Like trying to stifle the monoclonal antibodies supply. The not so subtle start to the passport to commerce. Got to hand it to the gubment… they sure are sociopaths about the “long” in long suffering.
I checked out the initial Natural News story, went to CF’s website and confirmed it, then spent an hour looking through Union Pacific’s website for any sign of this. Their “news” articles are all happy news. 500 new locomotives added, 450 employees currently in training, etc. They are, however, big supporters of social, environmental and governance (ESG), sustainability, carbon emissions, blah, blah, blah. The last info about fertilizer I could find was December of last year and dealt with tariffs. Looks to me like they’re doing this on the down low and hoping nobody notices. Good for CF to get this info out in the open. Maybe someone in the real media could contact UP for comment about their underhanded delays.
We are the real media now.
By ‘we’ I mean CTH, Bannon’s Warroom, and other conservative and nationalist sites.
Share with your network wherever they may be.
We have the capacity to produce far more calories of food than we actually do. These evil globalist monsters are trying (and succeeding) in ensuring that we have shortages here so there will be no excess to send abroad to alleviate food shortages in the 3rd World. Globalists want a tide non-Europeans flooding into every European country. All of their insane warmongering, coups, and destabilizations are rationally intended to dismantle and destroy European civilization.
Globalism must be destroyed, and in such a way that it never rises again.
We will have enough food at high prices to feed ourselves. The world may starve and then blame us. What happens when our inability to “feed the world” is perceived as an act of war?
The population of Africa since the “Feed The World” propaganda has doubled/tripled with still no way for them to k ow how to feed themselves or adopt “modern” agricultural practices. they murder or ethnically cleanse the Caucasian farmers, furthering their plight.
They used to murder each other in tribal wars until the racist “White men” came and stopped all of that, which kept their populations down and thus not starve. I wonder if they will do like the UK fascist imperialists did to Ireland during the Irish holocaust. Ship our food out while we starve. They did it to the Irish
How will this play out further in South Africa or Zimbabwe as fertilizer shortages get worse there too?
Don’t make assumptions regarding which population our leaders want starved.
I remember the current occupant promising that when famine comes that he will help by sending our food to other nations . . . but I can’t find the clip, or did I dream it?
Eliminate David Plouffe first. His kind must not rise again.
This could get interesting.
Recall that last week there was some public mud slinging among the worlds richest , with Warren Buffet being named a road block to some of the Globalist designs.
In reading Buffet’s resume, I see he left his trustee seat on the Board of the Gates Foundation in 2021 and he also been at odds with personalities dramatus with major holding managed by BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street. (NOTE: Sundance Needs to highlight State Street because they are also part of the “club” with Vanguard and BlackRock as well as a top 10 brokerage firm in the US, in terms of Assets Under Management.)
Warren Buffet owns the BNSF Rail System that serves nearly the same routes and capacity as the Union Pacific and he is not necessarily on the same Globalist Team as he also has significant investments within BRICS.
Buffet also lives in Nebraska so must be hearing the local concerns.
No DEF , no trucks move. These people are evil. Get ready! It’s gonna be ugly
My stepdad worked for the UP. They’re scum.
So did one of my brothers-in-law. As a Director. He’s scum.
I feel sorry for your sister.
Wellington mgt also on list of major owners. Wellington is oldest Vanguard fund. Whatever Vanguard/Wellington are doing is to make money for me.
Yes. I wonder about the implied accusation of Vanguard and BlackRock in the article. I would expect them to own the shares as fiduciaries for the people who have bought their mutual funds and ETFs that are invested in the stocks. This would be, for example, pension funds and individuals with retirement accounts, among other individual and corporate investors.
Is there a problem with this? Are they not acting in the interests of their customers? Is it that these investment companies have undue clout?
They’re in bed with the WEF. Yes they want to make money for the funds and they even give some of that to us but when it’s WEF vs. money for us and them they’re willing to sacrifice for the “common good”.
As long as their objectives include ESG they won’t be doing what’s best for the market or you. ESG as a goal instead makes them a proxy for the govt. The govt doesn’t want to do its own job.
Are Vanguard Group and Blackrock owned by the dark money of our intelligence agencies (along with access to all the retirement funds people think are being wisely invested by the mgrs of their 401K’s have invested into those 2 companies) with their board of directors simply fronts for whomever is calling the shots; kind of like it appears the board of twitter is being run?
Simply seems like a logical conclusion on what’s going on and would dearly love to hear this is a wrong assumption.
“Are Vanguard Group and Blackrock owned by the dark money of our intelligence agencies……………”?
As fund investors, we are the ownership. It’s not who owns, but who controls.
You are correct as long as “control” is equated to “ownership” in your comment.
Control is based on OWNERSHIP as how much of a specific stock (for example) a person or like minded persons OWN. The realtive “size” of BlackRock, Vanguard, Fidelity, et al is measure in terms of AUM (Assets Under Management).
The complete OWNERSHIP break down and listing of each FUND and Stocks within funds has to be made inside the likes of BlackRock and Vanguard to sort out Decision Making LINES of POWER. The names are known yet proof cannot be amassed due to the way lines of ownership are so easy to obfuscate.
The people who own BlackRock or Vanguard can only threaten if the MAJORITY OWNERS of the AUM those companies hold “allow” them to do so.
If you invest with Vanguard or BlackRock or StateStreet or any other investment company such as them. You don’t own stocks. You own shares in the mutual funds or ETFs that hold those stocks on their balance sheets. The mutual funds have outright ownership to those stocks. And, ETF’s are little more than derivatives of the mutual funds they represent. To actually own a stock in a company you’d need a broker to purchase that stock for you and have it mailed to your home so you can hold it in your greedy little hands. And, even if you have a brokerage account and buy stocks you don’t actually own them. They’re being held at some clearinghouse in your name.
As they say in the gold biz. If you don’t hold it you don’t own it.
yep
it hurts my feelings to be considered “dark money” because I trust Vanguard fund managers with my little bit. what am I supposed to live on? cds pay nothing and my little bits in Vanguard make me over 10%. Vanguard charges me about one quarter of one percent to make that 10%. I have to live on that. I am just a very old lady and never before have been thought dark money.
You have to live so take the ten percent.
There are other ways where you can fight the good fight. Whenever possible spend locally with businesses that are independent if possible. If it costs just a little bit more to support them rather than WalMart or Amazon that’s a good sacrifice.
Does this have something to do with four guys on horses?
Maybe even one on a page horse and guess what’s coming with him.
No, those guys come later. But, only after the Big Guy gets his 10% cut.
So, while forcing a food shortage, they also destroy the farmers and then can buy the real estate at bargain prices? Didn’t we recently see something about BR and VG buying real estate in large quantities? I forget where.
…and Gates, but then they’re all in bed together at the WEF hotel.
And, this time the prostitutes really are wizzin all over the bed. Anybody up for some Golden Showers at Hotel WEF?
Atlas Shrugged.
Scarily so.
Iowa needs to call out its nat guard to assist in delivery. All effected states should truck the stuff in those old 6 axles trucks.
It’s time to stop bending over. Friendly attorneys general need to demand answers as to why.
“Friendly attorneys general”….That’s RICH !!!
I posted this earlier. Are we just going to accept this and allow Union Pacific to restrict fertilizer shipments? So we’re just going to have to accept there will be food shortages in America, food riots and starving citizens? Meanwhile we’re letting millions walk into the country demanding to be fed? Is that what Americans now do when faced with difficulties/problems? We’re just going to let/accept that our government will do nothing proactive? China is buying massive quantities of grains in anticipation, what are we doing? Why can’t the Feds subsidize fertilizer and diesel for farmers and ranchers and guarantee they will have both for spring planting? Not everyone has the means or storage space for long term food supplies! Three hundred million citizens all can’t become preppers!! Congress seems focused on the Ukraine and the J6th committee but not We The People!!! We’re Americans we built the Panama Canal, the Alaska highway, the Hoover Dam, we put Americans on the moon, developed the PC but we can’t grow enough food for our citizens? And no media objects? Who knew? God help us! Hosanna!
The “WE” that you refer to is just another unwashed herd of sheep without leadership…and we have none. The crisis coming to a head was started by the killing of the family farm and the end of rural life, which even in my 70 years has devolved from a largely self sufficient existence for the majority to a crowded, pitiful existence, packed into the cities for industrial expediency and the lure of shared “social” experience. Ted Kaczynski was right…find and read his manifesto.
Trump’s no longer in the White House as I’m sure he’d implement some of your reasonable recommendations. As it stands, we have 81 million low IQ voters to thank for the Brain Dead Usurper currently running the show deep from his basement.
If it already has not been mentioned, trucking cannot function without DEF.
On the other hand, the recession will reduce the need for trucking
Correct due to EPA rules and massive fines for tinkering with the vehicles ECU to not require DEF…
Prior to this development the price of DEF per jug went up by about 50%… inflation is ridiculous
Just like with Biden’s plan to eradicate energy produced from oil from modern civilization, here comes the Bill Gates/AOC/ChiCom crowd to eradicate food as we know it from your life and replace it with “Green Sustenance” that won’t “harm the planet.” Will the food substitute be insects, like in ChiComville? Or perhaps Bill Gates will realize his dream goal of making more $$$billions by producing “substitute meat”? (Whatever that is. )
The point is that they know Americans won’t take to these new food markets very easily and the only way to get you to go to your local store and buy a bagful of grasshoppers or a Bill Gates Burger for your family’s Sunday dinner is if you are starving. The advertising that “Grasshoppers prevent heart disease”etc, ad nauseam just isn’t going to fly with most people. Even if they watch FakeNews pundits eating the insects and licking their chops on live TV. (This was already tried. They were eating brownies made with grasshoppers.) I think that’s what the BLM/Antifa crowd are already eating actually, so observe how most of them look now.
Soylent Green is People!
Why?
Specifically, in detail that makes sense, how does blocking grain shipments, fertilizer shipments and anti-pollution shipments “fix” the alleged supply chain ‘problem’?
Is Union Pacific moving a lot of oil tankers from the dakotas, becaus oil pipelines are under threat?
What is the incentive for UP here? Following govt direction?
Corporate control of commodity prices. Explore who stands to profit from rising grain prices. Hint: It ain’t the independent farmers.
This is where farm cooperatives need to work together to buy trucking services or even their own trucks to move whatever they need. It would probably be more expensive, but would assure product when needed.
The question is why is Union Pacific mandating the reduction of shipments for those 30 companies? Who or what has mandated that Union Pacific reduce shipments? And what are the 30 companies that were told to reduce shipments?
I see in the article from Market Watch that CF Industries “intends to engage directly with the federal government to ask that fertilizer shipments be prioritized so that spring planting is not adversely impacted.”
From what I’ve read UP is placing the blame on labor shortages. Reducing the number of trans is supposed to reduce the chances, and duration of, gridlock that would slow everything to a crawl. The fertilizer manufacturers have their own cars and rely on UP to provide the tracks and labor to move the cars.
Even if the small farm did have a surplus of trucks available, they’re going to run into labor issues too. Come spring planting time it’s “all hands on deck” to get things done in the narrow planting timeline, all while dodging the weather. This is complicated by storage issues. All well and good to send a fleet of trucks off on an adventure to get fertilizer, but it’s handled in bulk and must be stored properly until use.
They should get on board the Biden train and just blame it all on Putin.
This needs to go viral.
well looks like a def shortage is not gonna go over too well out in california, which is fine with me.looks like they are trying to cause food shortages in all the poor countries to give em a reason to import more( climate) refugees to where the food grows”here”.it is getting close to “lock and load”
The supply side seems to be doing well, for now. It appears this is a transportation logistics issue with the railroad claiming a labor shortage.
UP mandated the reduction.
I was reading, looking for EPA or other agency’s New Green Deal regulating the reduction, but what I read is UP wrote it.
Why’d they do that, intentionally?
They claim to have a labor shortage. If they don’t throttle back on the number of cars on their tracks it would lead to gridlock, and nothing moves.
“Dr. Julius Hensel was the greatest figure in
the history of agricultural chemistry even if his
powerful enemies, members of the octopus chemi-
cal fertilizer trust, have succeeded in suppressing
his memory, destroying his books and getting his
Stone Meal fertilizer off the market. But even-
tually the truth comes to the fore, and its
enemies are vanquished. Julius Hensel’s pioneer
work in opposing the use of chemicals in agricul-
ture, a half a century later, found rebirth in the
Organic Movement which has swept through the
world. But Hensel is more modern than the most
modern agricultural reformer, for he claimed, on
the basis of theoretical chemical considerations,
and supported by practical tests, that his Stone
Meal can replace not only chemical fertilizers but
all animal ones as well”

why would union pacific want to restrict fertilizer deliveries
Holomodor II. Both would be caused by Liberal/Communists
They’re claiming labor issues. The fertilizer deliveries could lead to gridlock if they don’t put up some restrictions. This would be a non-issues except for the time sensitivity of the product. Not an easy thing to do, planting corn in December if you farm in the Dakotas.
Better decide we want to actually fight back before the hordes of troops are further loosed on our country via title 42 suspension
So now it’s “You’ll eat nothing, and you’ll be happy”?
At least all the lard butts in the US will finally lose some weight.
If Twitter and FB can be arms of the government. Why don’t we look at Vanguard and Blackrock the same way?? Does anyone actually take possession of stock they own or is it all just housed in the cloud? I quit the market. It was like giving money to a stranger. Gold, Silver Lead.
When you buy into any mutual fund or ETF you only purchase shares and not the underlying stocks. If you want to own stocks and hold them in your hand you can go to a stock broker and purchase the initial share from them. After that I believe you’re free to purchase all the stocks you want without having to go through the stock broker. But, investment houses like Vanguard and BlackRock and most others don’t offer that service since they want to lock you up into their mutual funds. You can open a brokerage account with Vanguard and buy/sell stocks but those stocks are held in a clearinghouse. So, in essence you don’t really own them.
As they say in the gold biz, if you don’t hold in your hand, you don’t own it.
Mike Adams joins The Alex Jones Show to explain the impending collapse of the food supply in America amid unprecedented supply chain breakdowns.
” Union Pacific is essentially dropping fertilizer shipments and grain shipments all across America. Put another way, America’s food infrastructure is being deliberately shut down. The implications of this are nothing short of catastrophic. It affects not just fertilizer but also DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) which is necessary for all tractors, transportation trucks, construction equipment and other machinery that use diesel engines.
CF Industries is the largest producer of urea, UAN and DEF in North America. Without DEF, you can’t run tractors. And to the “Green New Deal” lunatics who think that halting all diesel engines will magically make the world green (while they absurdly try to suck all the CO2 out of the atmosphere, which will kill all plants, by the way), we are about to experience the starvation, chaos and violence that comes from shutting down agriculture. Good luck to all.
Spring crops will FAIL across North America if they don’t get nitrogen. This engineered halting of fertilizer shipments appears to be timed to severely disrupt spring planting across North America. This is consistent with what we have all observed with Joe Biden’s deliberate shutdown of America’s energy infrastructure which began on day one of Biden’s fake presidency when he signed a stack of executive orders shutting down energy pipelines.
From that very first day, Joe Biden and his handlers (Obama) have been meticulously deconstructing America’s food and energy infrastructure, causing shortages and price inflation. Yet as prices and scarcity both continue to worsen, Jen Psaki says it’s all Putin’s fault as a convenient cover story. The truth is that fake president Joe Biden is trying to plunge America into mass starvation, food riots and chaos. The shutting down of energy, food and fertilizer transportation is just one small part of this nefarious plan.”
I was wondering why UP didn’t put 844 on the line anymore. Well, that settles it.
Or SP’s 4294… Thanks for that!
Anecdotal, but I happen to be on a news group of thousands of customers who have ordered a certain vehicle built in Detroit. Within that group there are segments of buyers who know their vehicles have specific build weeks. My build week was the week of 4/4. You can look back over a year of build week threads and see excited buyers tracking the status of their built vehicles, at which point the move to being shipped by convoy (trucks) or rail.
An odd thing happened during our week. Vehicles with build dates got manufactured and then sent by convoy and rail for the ones built 4/4, 4/5 and 4/6. Since then, the vehicles show up as built, but zero of them have been shipped. The manufacturer claims they are fully built, not waiting for parts or computer chips, as has happened before on occasion. They are just stacking up at massive parking lots and not being shipped. We are on 11 days since a vehicle shipped, when they normally go out every day. Very strange.
There are hundreds stored about the grounds of one of the “big 3” (olden days term); employees told it is because they are waiting for controlling chips.
So who knows.
These two companies, Blackrock and Vanguard sound like US government funded enterprises to me too. Think of recent revelations concerning twitters.
I understand they own significant shares in every major bank around the globe. And major share holders in MANY MANY large industries. I have a feeling there are several criminals seeking world domination.
I hope they are too greedy to join forces.
It’s actually the other way around. Investment firms like BR and Van are the government string pullers and not just of our government, but of every government on the planet. Their alumni also control the Fed. Reserve and the WMF and all are huge backers of the World Economic Forum.
Why are our Congressmen silent?
Beuase they’re stupid, greedy, and lazy. Every decision is predicated on whether or not ismwill lead to reelection. Inferior people.
Why does no one ask the motivation of the UP? Seems to me to be the only way to get to the bottom of the issue.
Instead we talk about nebulous entities called “They”.
Vanguard & Blackrock are the largest owners of many companies. They have no reason to want all their customers (IRA’s, 401k’s, etc) to go bankrupt. They are a misdirection. A Red Herring if you will.
All this finger pointing and blame of “they” will get you nowhere but ruined.
Vanguard and BlackRock “OWN” Nothing. They MANAGE financial assets OWNED by the people or groups (as in Banks or Financial Funds) we refer to as “they”. The power of these companies is derived from being allowed to speak for majority owners of the assets they manage.
Guys, its not just cf.all major bulk chemical producers got the same guidance from the up.most sheeple dont realize that the producers own their own rr cars which they place on the class 1 rr’s.so far bnsf hasnt totally followed suit.no word from the csx or n/s.if they follow it will be hell on wheels.
in two weeks, you will see factories shutting production lines in accordance with their curtailment.within two more weeks the products consumers need particularly in bldg materials will be cut back.within 4 wks,you will be lucky to have the packaging that your groceries need.
this is all part of the green new deal but disguised as a necessary adjustment for covid impacts.i hope you can add both of the previous reasons to understand that the govt is seizing control and you will be damn lucky to be favored with any table scraps.
these folks are pulling out all the stops.you better stock up quick or grow a victory garden.
Who is John Galt?
Smells like a government starvation operation.
There are descriptions of idle train cars with rotting grain in Atlas Shrugged. Who is the present Atlas? and why is this one shrugging?
What else is hydrogen and nitrogen used for? Fuel
Who uses fuel people, who needs food, people, who needs fertilizer for food people.
CF Industries are Vanguard and Blackrock
Who owns the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies?

Faceless private equities and hedge funds control the firms essential to our health and survival.
How often do you hear about Dodge & Cox, SSgA Funds Management, BlackRock, Mawer Investment or The Vanguard Group? Well, if you recently popped a Tylenol for a headache, took a Lantus insulin shot or got your kid a flu shot at the local clinic – then you’ve probably come across these investment funds as they own the pharmaceutical firms that made those drugs.
The three largest shareholders of Pfizer, J&J and Merck are Vanguard, SSGA and BlackRock, the multi-trillion dollar funds which make investments on behalf of their clients and keep a cut for their service.

Vanguard is the majority shareholder in BlackRock. BlackRock is the majority shareholder in Vanguard.
sounds just a touch like the rothschilds of paris and london, co-owners, with others, of the fed.
This is starting to smell. Their activities will cost the American people their ability to make a living, and also their health. Yeah, and they are connected with those forced COVID shots, deaths etc. Disgusting!
They are actually forcing us to go back to the “old way” of living; more organic grow-your-own stuff on patio’s, bartering and trading. We are a clever and good people and we will win in the end. God is on our side.
Romans 8:28
vanguard is a mutual company owned by it’s individual account holders. don’t quite understand how blackrock can own a majority in vanguard other than thru investments bought on behalf of their account holders?
The mutual fund Managers at Vanguard buy the shares (not the account holders). For example, Vanguard could have the ‘Yankee Doodle Fund’, which comprises of shares in multiple companies (such as ….CF Industries, Boing, etc…), and the individual investor buys shares in Vanguard’s ‘Yankee Doodle Fund’. Same goes for any other mutual fund company out there.
takes the 2nd Amendment to untangle that Public Private Monopoly, this wont end well
Well, if that is true, this makes any concern merely about “interlocking boards” outmoded.
And put this together with the speculation about Twitter (and likely other “social media”) being state-supported entities; i.e., these funds probably have unlimited priviledges for capitalization from the Fed, making them state-supported entities (is it the other way around, or is it all just one cartel?) Hmm, control being the common thread, whether it be of communication, or finance both personal and corporate.
Are any of these entities, in any realistic sense, subject to regulation or compliance with laws, or is it all wired to advance their perceived interests in tandem with those of the federal government? Maybe that is a rhetorical question…
Larry Fink is the CEO of BlackRock and Mortimer Buckley is the CEO of Vanguard.
Corey Lynn of “Corey’s Digs” recently published and article on BlackRock, and Mel K has produced several informative videos (find them on Rumble at Mel K) on the familial connections between the largest companies controlling our lives including BlackRock, Google, etc.
They are all globalists and fully on board with Klaus Schwab and fully invested in his “great reset” plan. They hate us.
There’s a third that Vanguard owns that is critical right now to the tweeter stock issue.
Confiscate everything.
