House Republican Victoria Spartz (Indiana CD-05) is originally from Nosivka in eastern Ukraine. Mrs. Spartz emigrated to the United States in 2000 after meeting her husband who is from Indiana.
During the Republican House press conference today, Representative Spartz delivered passionate remarks about her homeland and the regional war between Russia and Ukraine that is impacting her distant family.
The region in Ukraine outlined by Representative Spartz, is the eastern Ukraine region that has been in a state of constant conflict over the past eight years. The Russian aligned separatists in eastern Ukraine have been fighting the western Ukraine military. The Russian military forces are now supporting the separatists and tilting the outcome of the fight.
WASHINGTON DC – […] “This is not a war, this is a genocide of the Ukrainian people by a crazy man who cannot get over the Ukrainian people do not want socialism, Soviet Union, communism,” Spartz, who represents Indiana, told reporters during a GOP news conference about President Biden’s State of the Union address. “They want to be with the United States of America. They want to be free people. They want to be with the West.” (read more)
Mrs. Spartz also answered questions from media attendees (video below).
.
There is a lot of complexity within the struggle inside Ukraine. There are layers of additional motives by outside elements, including the United States government and NATO, that makes that internal complexity exponential.
The conflict as presented by the corporate media boils this complex issue down to a Russia (Putin) -vs- Ukraine (Zelenskyy) issue, and that framework is done purposefully. However, inside Ukraine there are ideological factions just like there are in other nations. The influence by the U.S. and the influence by Russia has been an ongoing back-and-forth for well over a decade.
Similar to how the issues within Syria were never as simple as the media portrayed with the ever-horrible Bashir Assad, the issues in Ukraine are more complex than just horrible Vladimir Putin. When only one side of any complex issue is supported by western corporate media, the truth gets lost, because the truth is different depending on which internal faction you are talking to.
There are many Russians inside Russia who are aligned ideologically with the outlook of New York and California Democrats. There are many Ukrainians inside Ukraine who are aligned with the outlook of DC Republicans. The opposite of both is also true.
Overlay the financial motives of the World Economic Forum crowd atop the ideological motives of the Davos globalist crowd, and you realize just how convoluted these geopolitical battles can become.
Because of the influential position of the U.S. on a global scale, the outlook of Americans is valuable for each party. Therefore, there is a real battle for our mind.
Is Putin all good, no. Is Putin all bad, no. The same applies for just about every leader.
In the U.S. we are currently split about 50/50 on many issues, including -as we have seen- the issues surrounding COVID, masks, vaccinations, mandates, etc. In the battlespace of internet, we can see these differences become more visible.
Historically, our reference points were neighborhood and community based; there was less conflict visible to us, because generally on a local level there’s more unity. However, now with technology we see a much bigger picture of opinion, and with that scale of visibility we see much more conflicting opinion.
In your local tribe, there’s likely nowhere near as much friction as you witness in the social strata of the internet. That reality is why CTH continues to reemphasize the value of fellowship and local contact.
Keep this in mind as you absorb information from all sources, as you are always witnessing more conflict on-line than exists in local reality. That is the nature of this massive interconnected system that has been created by big tech.
In eastern Ukraine there are just as many people who would dispute how Representative Spartz would frame the issues, if not more. That’s not to say her outline of the situation is wrong, it just comes from a different point of reference.
In the larger dynamic, the problem that always existed with “globalism”, and the multicultural utopia they have hoped to achieve, is that in the largest of assemblies there is always more friction. The “new world order” is conflict against freedom. (Think of this as a big picture Western Ukraine outlook)
The smart nationalists have noticed this conflict; they have discussed and studied it and eventually chosen a different direction. Eventually the desire for peace, to be left alone, becomes the fulcrum of why the independent nation state is the best form of government. (Think of this as a big picture Eastern Ukraine outlook)
We in the USA are fortunate because we still have, albeit in a weakened status, a genuine constitutional republic. Meaning, each state can modify lifestyle according to the desires and choices of the people within it. If more nations took that approach, perhaps there would be less civil conflict.
Ultimately, if the United States ever fully dissolves the distinction of states, we will see greater conflict.
Stalin, Hitler, Putin.
Demons.
All different sides of the same leftist, statist, satanist coin.
That looks like a triad. Say wan’t that an arena on one of the old Star Treks? Jim Kirk may already have fought this battle and won.
If only we could have an Arena episode three-way with Putin, Zelensky and Biden.
You’ve been MIA. Welcome back.
so are Biden, HRC and Trudeau
Macron, Morrison , Johnson
We fought Hitler.
We allied with Stalin and ensured he survived. He went on to die of “natural causes” in old age.
Each demon should be treated depending on their direct threat to ourselves and the scope of their aggression. Of the 3 demons, Putin is the only one who is not bent on worldwide domination.
In the West, on the other hand, the WEF is all about worldwide domination and is willing to gut the very core of democracy to get it.
Patton was right. Both in slapping cowards and wanting to deal with the soviet union after defeating nazi Germany. While I can’t say I’ve ever seen a quote which summed it up succinctly, I very much believe he was fully cognizant of the dangers posed by ALL of the shades of social collectivism.
Collectivism is the rightful purview of a military or small, homogeneous groups. It has no place in civil society writ large.
My father’s contempt for FDR was evident every time he answered an innocent question about history from a junior high school kid, “Ach! For that you’d have to ask Roosevelt and his PAL, JOE STALIN!”
Your father was a smart man. I’d add Churchill to that evil group as well. He was a shocker.
“He went on to die of ‘natural causes’ in old age.”
Khrushchev saw to that! 😁
Don’t forget Zelinsky.
Hard pass on the drumbeats to war.
The Military Industrial Complex had to sit there and watch the Drug companies make money from the Pandemic. But, they got nothing. However, now they see the opportunity for a good old fashioned Hot/Cold War and their eyes are lighting up like cash registers.
visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads
Excellent observation.
It has become patently obvious Zelensky is the west’s puppet and boy is he milking it. All that stage experience has paid off.
Stalin, Hitler, Putin, Biden, Hillary Clinton, Obama, Pelosi, Soros, Fauchi, FBI, CIA, DOJ,
Demons. The list is long and growing longer by the day.
Easier to write a list of the good – won’t run out of space.
Soros supports Zelensky.
That says it all!
In my mind, it sure does.
No, Stalin, Hitler, McConnell, Pelosi, Schwab, $0r0$, their are PLENTY of demons walking the earth, lets go after the ones that are directly threatening us.
Putin isn’t directly threatening ME, or US.
Other than the two dead guys, the others on my short list, ARE.
So, if we are on a campaign to excorcise planet earth, lets start with them.
Dinesh D’Souza rightfully pointed out that the DOJ/CIA/FBI and the Biden regime are a Greater threat to us than anything happening in Europe
Auric Goldfinger, perhaps? Monex has gold up 1.89% for the day — and at the start of this “crisis,” Russia had about $150 billion in gold reserves. Like the Chinese, the Russians have been quietly stockpiling for years.
Bush, Barry, Biden.
At $105 a barrel, Putin and OPEC are the only ones making money.
The more the West fans the flames, the higher it goes.
They are probably preparing the red carpet in Saudi Arabia.
Romney,Pelosi, McConnell, Biden etc ALL uniparty Evil as well
Oh, for the love of oatmeal….
Even if Putin is a demon, what harm has he done to you lately? If Putin is a demon then Creepy Joe must be the Devil himself. We have much more evil people in positions of power in Mordor-On-The-Potomac than Puty Poo. Maybe people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Remember just a few months ago when the FJB regime murdered an innocent Afghan interpreter and his family with a drone strike and lied to the world about it. This is what we are dealing with in this country. Lets focus on the evil that needs to be defeated here first!
Biden, Obama,,,,,
Demons.
Think of the people who lost their lives under Bush, Obama.
I recently watched an amazing doco, Europa:The last battle. It presented a different perspective of history from what we have all been taught, supported by historical documents & witness testimonies. Most powerful & moving doco I’ve seen in a long time.
All I can say is, don’t assume the lies & distortion of the truth is a recent phenomenon, they have always done it. I would replace Hitler with Churchill in that list of evil.
Remember, history is written by the winners. I now believe if Hitler had won we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now. But don’t take my word for it, watch the doco & do your own research.
.
To quote another: Zelensky, the comedian who destroyed Ukraine.
and it isn’t funny!
More worried about WEF/DNC/CCP attacks on Americans TBH. The fact that Soros is so passionately pro-Ukraine and anti-Russia gives me pause.
Is there an arrest warrant for Soros in Russia? I’ve seen that mentioned here a few times but I don’t remember if the claimant provided a link?
Yes, I wonder what specifically the reasons are behind this arrest warrant.
An actual arrest warrant is debatable. Putin has said Soros is a threat to national security and banned the Soros NGOs from operating in Russia.
Unfortunately, I don’t have those links. You can try a search, but you’ll be bombarded with conflicting information.
I’m certain it’s Hungary that has a standing desire to bring Soros to some form of justice.
Wouldn’t be surprised though if Putin did as well, the guy’s a global menace.
The Left loves him though, describing him as a “Holocaust Survivor” rather than the more appropriate term, perpetrator.
I don’t imagine I’m alone: would like to drop him in front of a Russian tank. One of those young kids in the tank would never know the favor he just did the world.
Exactly, support of Ukraine puts us on the same side with Soros and other noted leftists. My theory, FWIW, is that communists aka globalists have made the choice of the CCP to support as opposed to Russian communism because they view the CCP as the stronger of the two and globalists are already bought and paid for by the CCP; so, it’s an intra-ideological struggle with the strongest element left standing to be the leader of one-world domination and globalism. Have no doubt, the CCP is the stronger of the two and will rule ruthlessly, putting the old leaders of USSR in its shadow.
Putin called communism “a blind alley” . . . I don’t think that has endeared him to the leftists! Could this be why they hate him so?
Russian communism?
It is a parliamentary democracy.
Russia is a kleptocracy, oligarchy, plutocracy–so similar but not the same…
Xi wants nothing to do with Soros. That’s why Soros is now speaking out against China.
With Soros, it boils down to money derived from national market & currency manipulation.
From that Mearsheimer video it is clear that this confrontation is one the elites / WEF wanted.
As the details don’t matter and no one wants to get to the bottom of the conflict or solve the conflict, I would guess there was a decision by the WEF to collapse the Russian economy. That is the objective and the Ukraine situation was the pretext they used to do it. COVID19 was the pretext they used to change all of the election laws and Ukraine is the pretext they will use to collapse the Russian economy and get rid of Putin.
I don’t think they rigged the 2020 presidential election to get rid of Trump as a one-off thing, but to run the table on all opponents of the globalist agenda. They really pulled the mask off to do that. Does anyone believe in Democracy after what they saw in November of 2020?
The objective is something like: Trump -> Putin -> Xi. Getting rid of Trump was Act 1, and getting rid of Putin is Act II and Xi is Act III ???
The problem with Putin was revealed in this interview. IMHO
Vladimir Putin interviewed by the Financial Times | FT
“You really are on the same page as Donald Trump.”
What I can’t figure out now is whether these actions are ones they feel they can pull off from a position or strength or are they a last gasp gamble?
Strength. The only people gasping are gasping for freedom.
I think they (WEF) are “going for it” – a reckless gamble after the embarrassment of Trudeau
Super vidéo of a lecture by the brilliant John Miersheimer of the University of Chicago.
This is a MUST viewing by everyone and we need you to share this widely.
Thanks for posting this, Caius.
Watched this about a week ago. Best video I’ve seen in a while.
Where was everyone during the Rwandan genocide? UN? Cinton? Albright? 800,000 slaughtered, as world leaders looked on.
Sorry, no Black Lives Matter for you.
What about the current genocides in South Africa , Libya , chyna etc etc
How about China (Uighur minority)? Or Tibet?
Executive Outcomes did try to help in Africa. Kofi Annan pressured certain governments to end their use. Nothing like leaving many Africans to twist-in-the-wind, caught between government soldiers and rebels. Strange though, I keep reading about a “private army” working in the Ukraine.
In Rwanda the talented and responsible few were being murdered by the untalented and irresponsible mob-standard commie fare-so it was all cool…
like the Khmer Rouge?
Indeed, we pick and choose that which we will be outraged about and adjust the dial for the level of outrage based on a number of factors. The world is a complex place full of horror that is sometimes acute and sometimes chronic. The fact that powerful elites manipulate and lie in the face of these horrors is disgusting, compounding the darkness that envelopes so many people around the world.
Irrespective of the politics, the lies, and a level of complexity that is certainly beyond my expertise, when suffering and death is intentionally inflicted on others, how can any fellow human being not feel sorrow for those who are enduring such horrors, as well as disgust at those who inflict it?
Perhaps now, in the West and in America, as the curtain has been pulled back on the corruption and tyranny that is surrounding us and threatening our values and way of life, perhaps some (many?) are running out of room within themselves to feel compassion for others. I struggle against this kind of cynicism because I don’t want to lose something that I view as central to what it means to be human.
Anyway, don’t mean to ramble, but was struck by your comment because it raised what I thought was a very important point.
I’ve long ago disabled my outrage function.
Not gonna let anyone push my buttons for their own devious purposes.
Will never be a cog in their machine nor an NPC in their games.
I think a person can maintain there compassion (or outrage, if you want to call it that) without falling prey to manipulation. Our mind allows us to feel things while also allowing us to think so our decisions aren’t driven by emotion (whether just on our own and/or exploited by some outside person(s)). It’s often a complex line to walk – limbic system vs pre-frontal cortex – but I think it’s critical because, among other things, it allows us to (1) function in a crisis to do what needs to be done (some are better at this than others), and (2) to hold onto our humanity.
I’m with you entirely.
Emotions are part of what we are, of how we judge and perceive reality, I’d never encourage denying one’s feelings, at the same time, I’d encourage anyone to recognize that emotions as a gauge of reality is rather like an etch-o-sketch view of one’s locale, the map is not the territory, it’s imperfect, and others are endlessly trying to mess with the knobs.
In any case, I don’t conflate compassion and outrage. Outrage is rarely useful to the one that submits to it, but highly so to whomsoever would fan it to life in individuals and masses.
Indeed and your description about messing w/the knobs was spot on. (That’s a keeper I plan to use at the next opportunity!) It takes some energy to stay on top of all those dynamics to maintain one’s integrity.
The first black president did not care enough. At the time, that country’s president requested 2500 US troops be sent to the airport in their capital city as a show of force to the two ethnic groups in order to prevent engagement by the warring parties…genocide resulted. It’s too bad Indonesian troops weren’t requested…at least they new how to handle tribal affairs (q.v., Congo, 1960s).
They had nothing to steal….so got the cold shoulder.😒
Ouch.
Wrong color…whoops that only matters every two years, my bad.
If SARS-CoV-2 were manufactured in a lab, and released to create economic upheaval (and possibly prevent a popular U.S. president’s expected re-election), at the cost of millions of elderly people’s lives, could that be considered genocide, or would it be merely “collateral damage”?
It took instigating mass fear to enable the mass-closures of small businesses, schools, churches, sports venues, et al., as well as the allowance of mass ballot mailing, and ballot harvesting, to generate an amazing 81 million votes for a non-inspirational candidate (who not only beat a very inspirational populist, but whose vote-total trounced his charismatic ex-boss’s 2008 count (69 million).
To induce this level of fear, the narrative of mass-mortality due to a “novel virus” was essential, no?
GOP needs these political optics ahead of SOTU, to blunt Biden’s message.
When she appeared in Ukrainian flag colors she immediately lost what little credibility she had remaining. Kindergarten level theater.
The problem is the GOP isn’t doing this about “optics”. They are doing this because they love being part of a united front with the left. That is the only measure of “acceptance” that the GOP cares about.
Plus they see a chance to sell weapons – makes their Military Contractor Donors happy.
A multitude of Western nations are freely offering armaments to the Ukrainian defense forces, so it looks like the MIC will have to sit this one out.
The GOPe will provide a milquetoast response with their affirmative-action she/her speaker.
I can’t remember a single R response during Obama or last year that didn’t put me to sleep. take Trump and a few of the Governors out of the GOP and you got a bunch of losers.
That is a very good point. We have to be able to separate reality from the Kabuki Show.
Another Iraq redone speech! All it is missing is the Yellow Cake scream.
Yellow Cake Scream–band name…
Well Putin went after the WMD’s our government created there apparently
Don’t care. I’m sick to death of the theater and people pretending the Ukraine matters to the average American or that they are the victims after they spent 8 years attacking Russian speaking people inside Ukraine.
And let’s not forget the average Ukrainian makes almost no money while their corrupt politicians get rich laundering money for US pols.
LULU ….WELL SAID
If the Burisma computers ever fell into the hands of the Russians, Biden would never eat Chinese again!
Most of the ” Russian speaking people ” they were fighting were recently arrived from Russia with sophisticated Russian weapons and on Putin,s Pay-Roll to set up a reason to invade. …….. Do you remember the air-liner shot down with the latest Russian rocket.
They don’t look poorly fed, though, do they?
Your point is well-taken though.
I’ve found myself yelling at the tv screen each morning: “WHAT ABOUT AMERICAN OLIGARCHS THAT STOLE THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY? What about the oligarchs that tell Americans and the people in sub-Saharan Africa what shall be jabbed into their bodies? Who determine what part of American history is best our kids should forget or never be told to begin with? Who write the news and put word into the mouths of the very people who will cover the SOTU speech (which I SHALL NOT watch)?
What about the AMERICAN OLIGARCHS pulling all these strings around the globe? I want THEIR ACCOUNTS SHUT DOWN!
When the Nazis and Communists split up Poland in 1939, The USSR took what used to be Poland’s eastern half and divided it up between several of it’s Soviet Republics that bordered Poland. That land was NOT returned to Poland at the end of WW II. Instead, the Soviets kept it and made up the difference to Poland by giving it eastern German land.
The Ukraine was the largest recipient of stolen Polish land. I wonder if anyone feels badly about that?
Chapter 4 covers this.

Cheering for the Ukrainian government is essentially cheering for George Soros, since he openly admits to overthrowing that government back in 2014.
Oh, and for the trolls… there’s a huge difference between cheering for the Ukrainian government and cheering for the Ukrainian people.
I could not agree more. I support the Ukrainian people resisting foreign tanks in their neighborhoods, but do not care an iota for their government.
You know that Zelensky was elected by those same Ukrainian people, receiving 73% of the vote, right?
The Nazis murdered 1.5 million Ukrainian Jews in 1941. Her grandmother must have Alzihmers.
Over 3 million (and up to 10 million) Ukrainians died in the Soviet genocide known as Holodomor.
Russia killed far more Ukranians in the past, Christians , Jews , and any-one else that was there.
Bolsheviks the ones who toppled a 1000 year old culture did that
Watch documentary…..2016 Ukraine on Fire-Oliver stone Documentary on YouTube.
“Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations; entangling alliances with none.” –Thomas Jefferson
“Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence, (I conjure you to believe me fellow citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake; since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of Republican Government.” – George Washington
Smart fellows those two guys….
Your avatar looks like one of my summer 1977 San Diego navy boot camp team mates. Although we all looked kinda generic at that time.
It’s a good thing France didn’t refuse the Colonial Army an “entangling alliance” in their hour of greatest need, wasn’t it?
It’s a shame she doesn’t have the same compassion for the people of Hong Kong and Taiwan
Oh when that comes it’ll make this conflict look like swan lake.
or Indiana
like the blind men touching the elephant…each describe it according to the part they touched,,,,,
Found in the bin. 🙁 (btw….welcome back!)
Ad rem…..thank you
Don’t worry, President Houseplant is going to put it all in crystal clear perspective this evening . . . . . right after he tells us how he defeated Covid and created more jobs than any other president.
And lept tall buildings in a single bound.
Yeah and the economy is booming and inflation is doing OK. What boring lies his speech will be.
Pssst..hey, over here behind the trailer. C’mere, I got something to tell ya. Figure out your getting the rope- a- dope yet? Here goes: Putin and Zelensky are in cahoots togather. Yup.Putin gets rid of the PITA’s that have been vexing him along with the bio labs, and little Z gets billions in foreign aid, his country rebuilt and E.U. membership.Bonus-10% for the Big Guy. See everybody wins. Well except for you and me- we get ass raped and have to pay for it all. But what price world peace eh?
No matter where sides or factions are currently, the theft of the 2020 election is causing innocent people to be killed. The elements of globalism were all against PDT not only financially but ideologically. This was very clear on January 20th when the Demented Fraud’s puppet masters destroyed America’s energy independence. It’s all dominoes from there.
No, they’re all wrong. It’s a squirrel.
Parfait!
at this point, I wouldn’t be shocked if Biden used the SOTU address to ask Congress for a declaration of war against Russia.
my imagination is running wild with a CIA false flag bomb of the capital during mush mouth’s speech
I would.
The democrat party has had no interest in national security and has had nothing but contempt for our military since the Vietnam era. . . . . and Biden is the shining example.
Or a declaration of war against Republicans.
First things first….there’s no genocide here. In fact the Russians have shown a marked desire to limit civilians casualties. Rejecting socialism? Isn’t the Ukraune much like it’s EU neighbors and soft socialist anyway? Rejecting communism? Putin isn’t selling it. He’s selling Russuan hegemony. The GOP is full of idiots that mouth the same empty blather the democrats do. Sexy words meant to inflame emotions and project an image. Idiots all of them.
yes no genocide.
Hopefully those tweets will age poorly
That was my first thought. All the “they want” “they don’t want” are opinion pieces that are wrong when cast as universally held opinions, though I’m sure there are millions on each side of those issues (except the commie one).
The war vs genocide and crazy man comments are just wrong. It is a war, it does not fit the definition of the word genocide. It just doesn’t. Genocide does not mean someone started fighting and I don’t like it. Just like racism doesn’t mean someone holds a position I don’t agree with. Putin is also clearly not crazy, otherwise he would have done this during Trumps administration instead of waiting until a far weaker leader came about.
And there is one other thing…
If national borders are not secure nothing is secure.
Russia needs to be opposed simply because it invaded a neighbour, if you yawn at this, don’t run your cognitive dissonance at me when China claims Taiwan and the Sth China sea with guns.
I’m waiting for Mexico to start UN proceedings to reclaim Texas, but of course that invasion has long since been successful.
Borders are sacrosanct or they are not. If they are not you have approved chaos and war.
I’d like her to define “Democracy” … cause that ain’t what Ukraine is
Democracy is the come hither tone for modern-day Eloi.
Not in the USA any longer as well.
This like everything swamp is a fraud.
Agree!
They stage their color revolutions and overtake their government every few years.
And their civil wars of East Ukraine against West Ukraine are bloody and brutal.
I agree with Col MacGregor…let Russia have east Ukraine. We have handed billions to them through out the years.
Sundance, how long, if ever before we see Putin turn the tables on the babbling fools leading this nation and the EU? By that I mean, when does he shut off the natural gas and oil? No one wants to sanction the Ruskies oil and nat. gas, because too many need the Russian oil and nat. gas- including the US. Psaki and her stumbling on that the other day…
So, when does Putin flip the script and cut it off? These leaders have shown him the one thing we need and don’t want to touch. He shuts that down- Europe caves in two seconds. The US will babble about for a few days then cave.
I think the chances are slim but possible Putin does something like this…
I say this because the world can end this quickly if they decided not to use Russian oil. More so, if the US restored Trump’s previous sanctions and we went to the Trump Doctrine concerning domestic energy the incursion ends. In the process we can become a net exporter again with long term contracts with the EU.
Biden killed the Mediterranean Pipe line also
https://www.gatestoneinstitute.org/18232/israel-europe-gas-pipeline
Putin doesn’t need to cut off the pipeline, the banks that take in oil money aren’t in the sanctions. Funny thing. Putin’s troops, by some accounts are bogged down by fierce Ukrainian resistance, but by other accounts, they are biding their time and destroying the Ukrainian army piecemeal, not wanting to destroy all the infrastructure of Ukraine, ala “Shock and Awe” (oh wait, that is how the US does invasions, we want to limit casualties, for sure, but only ours). If this is possibly true, could there be more to this story than we are hearing from our Western information sources? Is the same Intelligence Apparatus that advised Biden so disastrously in Afghanistan (or did they, really), get it right this time?
I think we will have to wait and see how this plays out over the next few days and weeks, to even slightly understand what is really going on, if we ever do.
Well stated.
Here’s a quarter … call someone who cares (set to country music)..
Oh by the way – I’m wondering if Mrs/Ms/Miss/ Spartz is concerned about the *illegal invasion* right here in the
good ole USA – What’s the number thru 2021??? I think it’s a gazillion!!! I’m in a badddddd mood today (:
Yes she is!
Every time the conflict grows between Russia and the West, the CCP licks it’s lips at the opportunities to profit from each.
Do these imbeciles even know what genocide means?
Genocide is, like, the opposite of Democracy, or something.
Genocide is when you dis-agree with Nancy Pelosi.
I thought that was gynosnide?
You hear the passion in her voice and you wonder why we don’t hear our own politicians with the same passion regarding our own border problems?
How many in Congress would hold a weapon to protect Americans and our freedoms like Zelensky?
Soo tired of the talk.
McCarthy should study Zelensky and understand it is his time to lead or get out of the way.
The expression “charity begins at home” comes to mind………
I thought that my voting for the govt to forcibly take your money and give it to me was charity. /s
You could put Mitt Romney’s face on that.
What we used to call a useful idiot.
Remember the babies in the incubators story in Kuwait and Iraqi soldiers throwing them out in the streets?
Or Saddam and his chippers?
Many layers…
Many ways to frame observed reality…
Many different ways to approach this issue…
One thing though, here we are dealing with what Kipling called the great game…
How we resolve this one specific issue will change the global order going forward…
… and “unfortunately” there is no going back to Kansas, Dorthy!
“How we resolve this one specific issue will change the global order going forward…”
The global order was changed in 1991 to the detriment of Moscow. Putin doesn’t like how the game is played so he overturned the table.
We are in the midst of a global disorder, with confusion and chaos emanating from the halls of Parliament worldwide.
When I look at the history of the Ukraine area and its relationship with Russia, I find that the idea of taking sides in this conflict is not unlike trying to pick a side in one of the many middle east Muslim conflicts, with their warring tribes engaged in ongoing battles that have lasted for hundreds of years. And just like the middle east, any outside (western) attempts at intervening to help resolve things only makes matters worse, so rather than helping them the west simply steps in to exploit the situation for financial gain.
Don’t forget, OIL – at the heart of this is oil.
It’s always about power and money is power, so yes, oil and any other valuable resources.. Isn’t it Ukraine that has a lot of minerals?
The election was stolen in 2020. We have an installed, illegitimate regime that is destroying this county. I am worried about the future here. Excuse me if I don’t go all in on the future of Ukraine, especially when what is happening there is being manipulated.
Right?
I feel the same way while feeling as everyone else does when I see mothers and children separated from fathers. (Too many American families have no father in the home, our shame)
The UKR citizens on foot, buses, trains, families separated are no more responsible for this than we are that Google controls our lives.
When the shoe was on the other foot Russia sang a different tune
In hindsight, having survived the WWI Germans just 25 years earlier, if I was Russia I would want as much buffer between me and Hitler as possible. Sure the Poles suffered but you can see the strategic value in that land grab to Mother Russia.
Because here we are again, the west wants to put missiles right on Russia’s border.
“If I was Russia I would want as much buffer between me and Hitler as possible.”
But surely you are aware that Russia invaded Poland simultaneously with Germany in an agreement to divide the country between themselves?
The problem with that is Russia is humongous and the ‘need’ for any kind of buffer zone is patently absurd especially in the nuclear age. Nothing justifies their unprovoked violence and murder on Ukrainians.
After the Russian got away with stealing Crimea they apparently thought nothing of ‘taking more’ because bullies never stop until hit in the mouth.
Ukraine is a corrupt nation where a cesspool of Obama Radicals have enriched themselves but despite all that the Ukrainian people don’t deserve this.
Eisen’s Playbook
Why creating the EU was a big mistake, it is centralised governance and buerocracy run amok.
Oh, and the representative saying “they don’t WANT a USSR” is a tell; no way Putin wants a USSR, either.
And Poland and Hungary, where the people are adamantly anti-conmunist, have offered refuge but NO Military aide to Ukraine, which is telling.
If THEY believed Putin was attempting to reconstruct the USSR, they would not just be giving Ukraine military aid, they would be sending troops.
The same people who, in one voice told me DJT was a russian agent of Putin, and told me the 2020 election was “the most secure in history” and told me “covid threatens humanity”, masks and vaccines work, etc. are the exact same people and entities, that are now telling me “Putin bad, Zelennski good” and expecting to (just as they did with these previous false narratives) trigger an EMOTIONAL responce, in order to ‘shut down’ my critical thinking.
Yeah, I think NOT. For me, I have identified the enemy. WEF, Schwab and $oro$.
And, I understand something of what they want, and how they operate.
Looking at it objectively, Putin is a NATIONALIST; he does not aspire to reinstitute the USSR, he DOES want to sustain and enhance Russia as a country and regional player.
Hence, he is a direct impediment to my stated enemy, the “Globalists”.
I really do not think this is about Ukraine, I think it is an attempt by the Globalists to oust Putin, so they can put a WEFer in his place, and remove a major impediment to their reset.
Enemy of my enemy is, if not my friend, at least someone I am rooting for.
Spot on in your assessments.

“I really do not think this is about Ukraine, I think it is an attempt by the Globalists to oust Putin, so they can put a WEFer in his place,..”
No, this is an attempt to oust a duly elected head of state and install a puppet regime subservient to Moscow.
Instead of one installed by the west? Interesting
Well said and I agree.
Now tell us about the Azov Battalion, Congresswoman.
What about the invasion of the USA southern border? What about tyrant democrats locking down everyone in the USA; destroying businesses; forcing masks; forcing jabs; locking down the USA oil production???? Tyrant Trudeau destroying truckers’ lives? Soros supports Ukraine and USA tyrants.
Anybody know the status of Russia’s Hypersonic Missiles vs ours?
Are both sides deployed & operational?
Internet somewhat unclear.
Our air-launched hypersonic missiles have failed repeatedly in tests. As for ground launched hypersonic missiles, I’m not sure.
Russia supposedly has hypersonic missiles on a few of their destroyers. Exactly how many, who knows.
Thanks, Sundance, for an overdue article clarifying your editorial stance on this struggle / war / battle / psyop in the Ukraine.
We would do well to remember every single one of these hypocrites in November. Where was this kind of firey condemnation over the last 2 years? Not a single one of them stood up for us against the Coof tyrants. Not a single one cares about the people rotting away in a DC jail without due process. I am sick and tired of the Hoi Paloi telling me what I should and should not care about as my rights as an American citizen are eroded daily. If these people are so hot for a war why don’t they pick up a g_n and go fight? Hell, I’ll buy them a plane ticket. Let Ukraine fight their own battles. And before anyone gets their panties in a knot, yes, I am very well aware of the financial ramifications this conflict will have. I highly suspect that is the whole damn point. I wish the Ukranian people the best of luck, but I will not support their corrupt country. Zelensky could have abided by the Minsk Agreement, but he chose not to. Instead he continued terrorizing and killing his own people. Then at the Munich Conference a week and a half ago he had the balls to state that Ukraine was looking to develop nukes. Not one Western leader said a word. And you wonder why Russia did what it did…
Touche’
If Spartz cares so much she can leave.
Democrat cities, are then, a genocide against POC.
It’s a strange way for Putin to run a genocide.
No man (or woman) ever went broke overestimating the ignorance of the American public.
Many people are gullible, and we can expect this to continue.
The common man, no matter how sharp and tough, actually enjoys having the wool pulled over his eyes, and makes it easier for the puller.
The bigger the humbug, the better people will like it.

Crock of Sh_it!
I get so tired of these dumb Republican Reps and Senators always breathing fire and hatred toward some foreign leader, with the rhetoric dialed up to 11 on the “Outrage meter”. They sure as heck aren’t concerned about the Southern Border or the Jan 6th protesters rotting in jail, But when its Syria or the Ukraine, my they sure get passionate. And belligerent.
If any of them are adults, they’d be talking about the need for peace and negotiation instead of weapons for the Ukraine. The Ukrainians can’t win, they need to start negotiations and Grandstanding about how much you HATE PUTIN isn’t solving anything.
Bullseye.
Follow the money…$$$$$$!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Always follow the money!!!!!!!
They want, want, want the 1% war mongers to love them….and not their awful, low class, relatively poor base. 😒
The weapons that we are giving away have to be replaced, and the manufacturers are not charities. So more dollars flow out to the military-industrial complex …
And some of them end up in PAC’s and donations to campaigns.
How does Sundance put it? There are trillions at stake.
Most obviously, who are her donors?

It is simply amazing to watch “conservatives” jump onto the pro-Ukraine anti-Russia emotions train, simply because the Democrats in charge demand it from us. It is a corrupt nation that mutually benefits our own corrupt cancerous Deep State. But when the Deep State unites against their common enemy (Russia, evidently) we conservatives seal the deal for them and give them every aid and comfort they need to win their psy-op war.
At the end of this, if successful, Democrats and their One World Government sponsors will have total power. And conservatives will be left whining as usual. Why not stop them now? Ukraine is bad. We know this, though we may not yet know how bad is bad (we know enough). Why are we defending them?
I wish Rep. Spatz would look at this mindful of the best interests of the citizens of her adopted country.
Ukraine—seems every few years they find decide on a color– and start a civil war. East Ukraine against West Ukraine. Bloody and Brutal. Rose Revolution–guess they couldn’t agree on a color that year.
We stick our nose in. Send them billions which politicians get their cut.
Looks like this year they couldn’t come up with a color again.
So they decided to start the NATO war with Russia. Let’s provoke Russia this time with NATO.
Politicians will stick their noses in..get their cut…
Wash. Rinse. Repeat. And it’s getting old.
I agree with Colonel MacGregor…let Russia have East Ukraine. Tired of it all.
The only ones who suffer are the Ukraine people and we American taxpayers.
Precisely.
In the documentary 2016 Ukraine on Fire -Oliver Stone documentary you can watch on YouTube…I watched….towards the end…try to watch for and see the Black Lives Matter sign someone is holding.
See the provocateur tactics being used. Listen to Biden, Nuland,McCain.
When Soros supports something…that does it for me. Last nail in the coffin.
It still amazes me how many foreigners/immigrants and dual passport holders are elected to Congress. There are only 535 total members of Congress. 100 Senators and 435 House Representatives. This lady immigrated here in 2000 and in just a short 20 years, she was elected to one of only 435 coveted House seats. Not certain what to think of this, but it seems that there is a story there.
Our country is no longer a federation of European peoples, but a trade zone where EVERYTHING is for sale. A seat in our House of Representatives is a business operation with investors. Spartz delivers value to her investors, and most of them do not live in Indiana and none of them give a damn about Indianans.
“They change their skies not their souls, those who cross the sea.” The original Horace on immigrants flooding into Rome during its transition from republic to empire-> magic dirt theory was debunked 2000 years ago
“Spartz delivers value to her investors, and most of them do not live in Indiana and none of them give a damn about Indianans.”
Elections were “nationalized” with passage of the 17th Amendment.
Don’t blame lobbyists for playing by the new rules. Instead, work to regain the primacy of state legislatures over the US Senate by getting the 17th Amendment repealed.
Let’s make local politics great again.
