Tow trucks from Michigan have been sent to assist Ontario police and Canadian federal law enforcement to remove the Freedom Protestors and truckers from the Ambassador bridge at the border crossing between Canada and the U.S.A.
Yesterday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Joe Biden held a phone call to discuss the collaboration of U.S. and Canadian federal law enforcement as well as joint intelligence agencies to remove any blockades at the border crossing points. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer also told media she would assist the Canadian government effort.
As local, regional and federal law enforcement on both sides of the border begin to confront the blockades, it appears they are sharing resources. Previously, Canadian tow trucks refused to cooperate against their own citizens in protest. It appears that Michigan tow trucks are willing to do the dirty work. However, the initial tow companies pictured can only move regular passenger vehicles and pick-up trucks, like those driven by supporters of the truckers.
Police arrived shortly after dawn this morning to clear the protest group who spent the night at the busiest crossing between the United States and Canada and enforce a court order issued yesterday. “The Windsor Police & its policing partners have commenced enforcement at and near the Ambassador Bridge. We urge all demonstrators to act lawfully & peacefully. Commuters are still being asked to avoid the areas affected by the demonstrations at this time,” police tweeted.
Global News journalists reported, “police in black uniforms with yellow vests were seen moving behind the protesters’ cars on the bridge. Tactical teams and snipers were also present.” CTV News Windsor’s Michelle Maluske reported from the scene that some protesters had begun to pack up and leave ahead of police moving in to enforce a court injunction, while others remain defiant in the face of fines and jail time.
CANADA – Police have moved in to break up a days-long protest at the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ont., where vehicles have been blocking traffic on the crucial border crossing into the U.S.
“We urge all demonstrators to act lawfully and peacefully,” Windsor police said in a tweet as officers started to move in with other law enforcement at about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
They also advised people to stay away from the area.
While some protesters left immediately, a handful remained as of 10 a.m. Police formed a line and were steadily pushing back the demonstrators, some of whom were shouting “shame,” “freedom” and “you’re on the wrong side.” (read more)

The standing army has been just as much bad news for corrupt governments. These often have been overthrown and a dictator rises from among the generals (because populist revolutions are messy and often without a plan). The founding fathers protected the government, not necessarily the people, by putting our military under civilian i.e. federal government control.
What the founders did not foresee was the rise in power of the federal government via the 16th and 17th Amendments, or the rise of the bureaucratic state. The sovereign states (people) ceded control in steps by going along with this to get block grants for various programs.
You are entitled to your own opinions, but America’s Founding Fathers made it very clear what their opinion was of a standing army. They hated it with the passion of a thousand suns.

Reporters should also learn something because I have read about 8 news stores today as to how things are going to be “mopped up” at the Ambassador Bridge now that tow trucks have been sent in to clear things out.
These Semi when loaded can weigh around 40,000 pounds you do not just pick them up like toys and put them where you want.

80,000 is standard legal weight. 12,000 lbs steer axle. 34,000 lbs each set of tandems.
In other words, give them room on the road or stay out of their way!
I love and respect the truckers enormously, their fight for freedom in Canada, whatever the truckers in this country plan to do or not do, the size and weight of their trucks, how much distance it takes to stop them and how well the truckers handle those big rigs.

I watched a live stream this morning by a guy called VIVA and the memorial was NOT bring trashed. All the people I saw were happy, nice people who just don’t want an oppressive government. Some ex-military seemed to be watching over the memorial as a sign of respect.

Driving an 18 wheeler is like driving a car, right??? A few months ago we took a road trip. Whenever we take road trips we avoid the normal highways and us a routes that are mainly truckers. I said to to hubby “you know, much as I am a little wary of driving near trucks I am very impressed by truck drivers. They are so polite. They don’t block people. They only go in the fast lane when they are going around a slower moving vehicle. They don’t tailgate” etc. etc.
Driving around illegals in cars is scary enough. Driving around them in trucks? THAT is frightening.
That exactly what they do. Heavy Metal Truck Driving school in New Port , MN has been training, Somalians, Nigerians and liberians for years.
Here, the difference is that the Somalis, Nigerians and Liberians are here legally, most speak English. The problem comes when the somalis are asked to drive a truckload of booze or pork.
They can’t read our write English. Remember the truck driver in Colorado with 110 years in prison? He couldn’t read English either which is why he didn’t take the runaway truck ramp.
First they have to learn English; there are a lot of people who don’t speak English and of the invaders from, Central and South America, many are illiterete in their native language, which isn’t Spanish. I’m sure there are some who speak English but they’d have to be interested in driving trucks. Which also creates another issue; they’re illegal, they can’t work legally and shouldn’t be able to get a green card.

This post originally had to do with the tow truck company visible in the picture in the OP. I deleted what I wrote due to the notice about doxing. I don’t think I did that but just in case. I had called the company and asked them nicely if they were participating in the removal of freedom convoy vehicles. They nicely assured me that they were not. That was the sum total of my post. It would be nice if management would clarify what constitutes doxing in their mind.
What constitutes doxing, specifically, is not a matter of what’s in anyone’s mind.
It is specifically the act of publishing private and personal contact and location information on a public site.
Such information is often published with the intention that those who read the private information about an individual would use it to contact/harass/pursue the individuals whose location and private information is thus made available. Whether that’s the obvious intention or not, publishing private location and private contact information is doxing.
It’s only confusing/difficult if you want it to be.

I don’t speak for the house, but I get the sense their warning does not apply to your post. I’d think it would more reasonably apply to those posts calling for things not mentioned in your post, like going to peoples’ homes and harassing families.

As to how the government does anything, their options are almost limitless these days. A normal person may not be able to imagine, but we’re talking about abject evil. I never underestimate what they can and will do. Tyrants don’t like to be challenged and will bring the full force of their power to bear. I fear for the truckers and pray they remain strong.
