Austria Takes a Step Toward Mandatory National Vaccines for All Adults 18 and Over

History rhymes, with Austria as the center of where the worst of bad things originate.

Earlier today the lower house of Parliament voted 137 to 33 passing a law mandating COVID vaccinations for all adults 18 and older.

VIENNA, Jan 20 (Reuters) – Austria’s lower house of parliament passed a bill on Thursday making COVID-19 vaccinations compulsory for adults as of Feb. 1, bringing Austria closer to introducing the first such sweeping coronavirus vaccine mandate in the European Union.

Faced with a stubbornly high number of vaccine holdouts and a surge in infections, the government said in November it was planning the mandate. Since then, it has raised the age as of which the mandate will apply, to 18 from 14.

The bill must now pass the upper house and be signed by President Alexander Van der Bellen, steps which will be largely formalities.

Roughly 72% of Austria’s population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the lowest rates in western Europe. After a fourth national lockdown ended last month, the extremely contagious Omicron variant has pushed infections to record levels but the government wants to avoid another lockdown.

[…] The bill imposes fines of up to 600 euros ($680) on holdouts once checks begin on March 15. Those who challenge that initial fine unsuccessfully face a maximum fine of 3,600 euros. (read more)

Don’t forget this little proactive plan…

.

(AUSTRIA) […] Linz now wants to hire people to hunt vaccine refusers, as reported by “heute”. They should check whether those who do not get vaccinated really pay for it. Because if you do not get vaccinated, you will be asked to pay. Up to 3600 euros, the equivalent of a good 3740 francs.

The vaccination inspectors receive a salary of at least 2774 euros, the equivalent of around 2880 francs. The salary is paid out 14 times a year.

The job includes, among other things, the preparation of penalty orders as well as the processing of objections. In the job profile, a completed Matura is required. In addition, the hunters should be resilient and willing to work. Specifically: ready to work more overtime!

Only Austrian citizens are employed for the Arbreit.  And, of course, applicants must either be vaccinated or recovered. (read more)

Why does this stuff always start in Austria?

The reason the Nuremberg Code has zero traction among 60%+ of the people …. read this poster and then re-read the vote of the Austrian Parliament.

Poster: “….the person involved should have legal consent….”

Read the Vote of the Austrian Parliament in Sundance’s article: 137 to 33. The Austrians elected their oppressors, just as they did in Australia.

Don’t be so hasty as to assume they voted for this. Dominion and Smarmatic are all over the globe, and have been stelaing elections for over a decade. They have counterparts all around the Earth. Not buying the dominion line as the cure all comment to voter stupidity any more, especially in Europe. The voters there have a socio-political history stretching back to the Roman Empire of embracing their oppressors as long as it does not hurt too much and they are left alone.

Plus; Bavaria, Austria and Southern Europe has a long historical love affair with totalitarian communism to fix the social issues.

Even here in the US we have over 60% of the people either embracing the democrat regime or living in la-la-land because a mask and injection is “not too much to ask as long as we are left alone”.

“Dominion” is too easy an answer and in this case the reasoning for the intellectually lazy. Also, elections in Europe are allot harder to corrupt, oddly enough. The Europeans have not yet evolved to the wide open, voting is not done until the democrats win mentality.

Obama was so motivated to get Dominion installed, and money was no object. Anybody heard from Sidney Powell lately? Dominion was going to sue her for everything she had and then some in the Democrat’s star chamber courts for exposing Dominion’s trade secrets–i.e., industrial-scale vote fraud–which effectively silenced her.

Caius,

Yes, I’ve heard from her. Look up defendingtherepublic.org. She’s still fighting the good fight and they have an interesting and free newsletter that is well worth reading. She’s NOT silenced. However, I doubt she has much trust in “conservative” media like FOX after the way they acted on Nov. 4 and after. Can’t blame her for that because I don’t trust them either.

There is no libertarian tradition in either Germany or Austria. Both cultures enjoy rules and communal thinking.

It’s not always expressed through socialism, but more in the spirit of the Volk. Think “community” in English, and you’ll be close.

Saying it’s genetic takes away responsibility from their conscious decision to do it. So they can say it’s not their fault that they are committing people to death, it’s in their genetics so they can’t help it and should not be held responsible for it. No.

That possibility has been studied and written about since World War Two ended. The answer seems to be a resounding NO. Certain types of humans appear to have a predisposition to totalitarianism – either practicing it or being subjected to it and apparently having no problems. Maybe the people in that geographic area have become accustomed to this type of “government” but believe me, an increasing number of people in this country seem to be predisposed to it as well. The education system in this country has ensured an ever increasing number of people here are more than willing to accept a totalitarian system here as long as they can work within it and aren’t a target of the regime. Look at the recent polling regarding people who agree with locking up the unvaxxed. It’s nut job city in a lot of American brains.

LOOK at the Austrian election in 2016. “Narrow loss by the Right wing candidate”. That was the era of Obama/Deep State Spygate. I highly suspect they tipped the scales and what we are seeing today is a direct result of a planned assault on civil rights and liberties that the Soros Leftardian criminal syndicate is imposing on this prison planet.

I am a student of history. Real history, not the revisionist garbage they teach today. It is a historical FACT that the tyranny NEVER ends until the tyrants are ended. I’m not going to do it and I’m not advocating for anyone to do it but I am simply stating a fact (see Robespierre, Mussolini and every other ousted tyrant). I certainly won’t shed a tear when it happens to our current crop of evil dictators.

Solzhenitsyn offered the solution for this in Gulag Archipelego, pointing out that if citizens had drawn police into apartment buildings and then attacked them, the state would have lost its enforcement tool.

The Austrian government, is doing its best to resurrect its totalitarian DNA, which apparently has long telemers.

When the destructive nature of these 3 poisons is eventually laid out for the public to understand, perhaps then some swift justice will be administered.

Exactly. These hunters should not return home after a days work. Solzhenitsyn pointed out that if the state enforcers did not know whether they would return home from any given shift they’d stop going out.

Anyone that signs up to be a hunter of innocent people has no right to assume they will return home from their job.

There may come a day when being jabbed is a requirement for receiving SS, Medicare, or any other major operation. (kidney transplant, knee replacement, colon bisection, etc.) Something tells me that being jabbed will not be a requirement for Welfare or Medicaid recipients or the illegal. It’s a rough ride ahead. Let’s talk about the fact that in the capital of our country you cannot go into a restaurant without your papers. You can go to the grocery store though. This tells us several things: (1) restricting your ability to go into restaurants has nothing to do with health because if it did you would be restricted from leaving your house for any reason; (2) the restriction of your ability to “have fun” as opposed to feed yourself is purposeful chosen to inflict just enough discomfort and annoyance to “nudge” you but short of an effort that will cause civil unrest which denying your ability to feed yourself would do; (3) that the elites governing us in DC are allowing this tells you they support it on some level. I am not interested in the limits on what they could do. I focus on that they are doing nothing, no howling, no threats to defund the capital, no threats to fund civil rights lawsuits etc. There is no rational relationship to support this discrimination where our Constitution guarantees our inalienable right to assemble where this shot does not prevent transmission or contagion, was designed for a variant that no longer is among us for the most part, loses whatever efficacy it did have within 4 to 6 months of getting it, has no or little effect on the current variant, is designed to impact a virus that has a 99% recovery rate and has a verifiable risk of cardiac events and strokes. So while the situation in Austria certainly is alarming, I find more to be alarmed about right here at home, right now.

You now are seeing the Uniparty structure. You have noticed how neither Republicans or Democrats in DC, are either pushing all these mandates or they are silent. We have seen how the Republicans and Democrats fight to keep illegal immigration, Democrats push for open borders, and Republicans are are silent. When Republicans controlled the house and senate we saw first hand how “NOTHING” was done to assist trump in stopping illegal aliens from entering our country, yet is was the perfect opportunity, it was trump fighting an uphill battle all the way.
This is a single government group of corrupt thieves. The Uniparty, the good cop, bad cop scenario played out in real time for all to see and hear. The one thing we all know talk and lip service has no value, so me, provide valid and useful actions, but we do not get that from our government.

My younger sister is all-in on these shots, masks, distance, lockdowns et al. To her you are an insensitive ass at best if you don’t comply. I told her I have not and have no intention of getting shot. I send her updates on the useless jabs but it doesn’t penetrate. She’s resorted to wearing masks in her own place and she lives alone.

Media addicts cannot think outside of the corp narrative. She has recently decided to tolerate me but we went 16 months with no meetups over this.

As more and more evidence mounts that the people perishing from Covid are fully vaxxed, these tyrants double down on death. The only thihng that will stop this is force. Overwhelming violence of force. People refuse to see this, as they are led away…

Well, it’s not the first time a tyrannical demon was spawned in Austria, right?

Ya, at this point it must be something in the water.. The only consolation is their neighbor Czechia or (Czech Republic if you haven’t looked at a map recently).. They just threw out the mandates yesterday, and if you recall they recently added their very own 2nd Amendment last summer.

Two different courses emerging in Europe – UK/Ireland/NI/France going with less restrictions, while Italy, Austria and others going with more.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn had the right idea on how to handle the “hired guns” who will come to your door.

The citizens will need to make a painful statement….right from the start.

Then it will be MUCH MORE difficult for the elite to hire “vaccination inspectors.”

“Roughly 72% of Austria’s population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the lowest rates in western Europe.“

Good Lord that is sickening. You must get injected with a substance now is recognized as ineffective. Stupidity or Evil. I say mostly stupid and brainwashed until you reach the upper echelon of planners. It’s strange because I can actually tolerate stupidity but neither of those traits are good for running a country. It’s definitely crazy whatever the hell it is.

Americans had the rare and fortuitous experience of violent upheaval producing a liberal democracy.

For most countries, the monarchy represented, over the long term, moderation and true nationalism.

The British civil war produced religious fanaticism, and the King was soon restored.

Mark Steyn has convincingly argued that Bush 43’s great mistake in Afghanistan was in not restoring the Afghan King to his throne, but instead Dubya tried to manufacture an ersatz democracy.

The Spanish civil war between socialists (they called themselves Republicans) and fascists was mostly about hatred of the Catholic Church. The Spanish monarchy was restored when Franco the Nationalist/Fascist died. Again, the force of reason, moderation and true patriotism was the King.

After the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Romanov Dynasty in World War I, many central and east European countries have been morally and spiritually adrift. They’ve cycled through fascism, communism and democracy, but liberal democracy has never taken root. Democracy without liberalism and respect for human rights is mob rule. Their tumult will continue.

The road to socialism is democracy. It is a stop-gap answer at best. Man cannot rule himself.

Raptors2022,

I would have to disagree with you on the Spanish example. Spain was a safer and more civil society under Gen. Francisco Franco than it has been since his death. I’d argue Franco was more of a Spanish patriot than Juan Carlos. General Franco put his life on the line for Spain and did so many times. He understood very clearly the nature of his enemies and skillfully guided Spain safely through some extraordinarily dangerous times. Juan Carlos was never anything more than a pampered pet and generally just wanted to go along to get along. Fighting the Left was something he had less than no interest in doing. He was also corrupt.

Most normies don’t understand that “the elite” used the pandemic as a pretext to enact their agenda, destroying society and the economy to usher in their Great Reset. What the plebs DO understand is the massive destruction caused by those policies did little or nothing to control the virus, and since they don’t see the black hand at work they simply chalk it up to stupidity and incompetence.

The US has already done this to all it’s Healthcare workers, risk your life and take the 3 mandatory vaccines or be fired and lose everything you own. A fine isn’t even an option here in this disgustingly pathetic country. So what Austria does to it’s citizens, no matter how sad and outrageous it is, the US isn’t any better. The useless and very dangerous covid vaccine should’ve never been rushed, this was a huge mistake made by the US and now everyone in the world is paying for that huge mistake.
