It is difficult to imagine how the Biden administration can possibly spin the economic reality of increasing, unavoidable inflation making the economy weaker over the next year. However, somehow, they will try.
The AP is reporting that 68% of Americans now say the economy overall is their number one concern. Meanwhile, the federal reserve of New York is reporting the inflation results from December are likely to be the same, if not higher, than the inflation results in November.
The Biden administration has continued to push additional federal spending under the auspices of Build Back Better as the bridge to offset the impact from their Green New Deal energy policies. In fact, if you look at how the massive spending effort has been shaped, it becomes clear the overall goal is to push a new energy policy and then hide the impact by using COVID as the cover for the subsidies to try and offset the impacts.
It is a sneaky program when reviewed in totality. Shut down oil and natural gas production, cancel leases, block pipelines and use the regulatory arm to shut down any additional growth in the oil and gas industry, including refinery capacity. Then, try to hide the consequences by subsidizing the core constituencies who would normally be immediately impacted.
Unfortunately for the Biden architects, no amount of legislative spending is going to be able to offset the massive economic impact of implementing the Green New Deal by executive order, regulatory changes and administrative policy. The American people are not blind to consequences, and when they start to look deeper into the causes of this inflation, what they discover is easy to see.
Gas prices jumped 50 to 60 percent and appear to be maintaining that level with no foreseeable change in the future. The plastics, fabrics, containers and ancillary products all created from petroleum are also increasing at a rate similar to fuel.
The manufacturing system, processing, warehousing and distribution costs are also directly proportionate to the increases in energy costs. Nothing in the supply chain or the consumer economy is unaffected; it is all connected and as a result unavoidable.
We will find out tomorrow how the inflation data from December compares to the reality of 10 to 50% increases at the store. However, one thing is certain, the inflation is here to stay for the duration – or at least until the unsustainable price increases cause a contraction on the demand side for consumers.

The economy outpaced the pandemic in the open-ended question, with 68% of respondents mentioning it in some way as a top 2022 concern. The vaccine mandates are only exacerbating the issues, as worker pressures will only increase additional impacts to the supply chain.
We are facing the perfect storm for major problems. Massive and persistent inflation, a critical shortage of products and a workforce that is forcibly removed from operating the machinery inside the economy. All of this Biden administration damage cannot be attributed to bad policy, not at this scale.
This level of cumulative economic impact is being done intentionally, in order to put leftist ideology over the best interests of the American public. You know it, I know it and the broader American middle class are feeling and seeing it directly.

We saw evidence of the scope in 2017 when the Oroville spillway failed and the emergency spillway went into use for the first time ever and the scour threatened the whole dam structure and resulted in the evacuation of over a quarter million people downstream. That took over a billion dollars to repair. I believe that dam is the tallest dam in the United States, at least for the earthen dam version.

Exceptions exist, absolutely, but we need only look at how well the Covid operation has gone for the Communists in the court system, never mind election fraud, to see how pervasive the problem is.
I think people should continue to test the courts and pursue justice but I personally don’t expect my results in life to come from the gavel of a judge or the vote of a jury. Lost that faith long ago, and for good reason. Others are free to do and believe what they wish.

If the various Republican legislatures would act decisively to curb the obvious voter fraud, next November would likely put Congress firmly in their column for a decade or more. In that Congress there would likely be a goodly number of Trump policy supporters, I would expect enough to drag the RINOs to the right or slowly begin to outnumber them, at least for a bit.
Americans who mostly live their lives and don’t pay attention to much else, are now paying attention, and if Trump approved candidates push the eonomic alternative from recent memory, the gains will be huge except in the far left enclaves of CA, NY, IL, VT, NJ, etc. Along with the usual municipal cesspools, where leftism is always fed by fact adverse stupidity.

Bought some more groceries today and inflation is very noticeable. Gallon of vegetable oil was $4.58 a couple of months ago $7.58 today. Almost no chicken, bacon or cream cheese and what they had was at least 15% higher.
I used to know what grocery prices were give or take a half a buck. They have become unanchored, never know what to expect.
Destroying the middle class has gone on way too long –
First, various presidents started the ball rolling with giving our jobs overseas; the cheap goods from China started pouring in. Secondly, Obama for two terms worked with big business to destroy our small business base.
Then President Trump started bringing those jobs back. He worked 24/7 and made great strides in increasing

As our cost of living increases dramatically, with the cost of utilities, gas, clothing and food seeing increases in
the double digits, our economy will break. For many, there will be little money for essentials. Few will be going
on vacation, out to dine, out to the movies, etc. That part of the economy will crash. When the stock market
reacts to higher inflation and increased interest rates, many will lose a huge portion of their life savings and
it will take years to get it back if you leave your money in the market.
So what are we to do? Our politicians are useless except for a few and we all know who they
are – seems like we can count them on two hands. The supreme court with the exception of Justice
Clarence Thomas and perhaps Alito, are either activist judges and/or plain stupid (see Kagan, Byer and Sotomyer)
or compromised in some way (See Chief Justice Roberts).
What’s the plan for us? I have no clue. I am hoping someone smarter than I can tell us.
Maybe this is just hope, maybe this is real, but PDJT did sign an Executive Order directing that the assets of any foreign country, entity, or persons who interfere with a US election be seized. For the 2020 election, that would include:

Billionaire supermarket CEO warns of potential meat, egg shortage as omicron disrupts US supply chain

The recent impact of omicron on the U.S. supply chain has caused grocery prices to increase and could soon impact the supply of meat and eggs, according to billionaire Gristedes CEO John Catsimatidis.
“Omicron is taking its toll at different levels of the supply chain, whether it’s the warehouses, whether it’s the selectors, the drivers the loaders – and as they call in sick there are interruptions in the system,” Catsimatidis told Todd Piro during an appearance on “Fox & Friends First.”
Catsimatidis went on to say that many of these interruptions will continue over the next 6 weeks as the COVID-19 variant impacts the labor market. The United Refining Company owner added that the Northeast in particular is seeing the price of various products, including eggs, poultry, and beef, go up because of low supply and high demand.
“Let’s say they normally sell 10 million pounds of chicken. They figured if they raise the price 10 or 20 cents some people will buy less chicken and the people that really want to buy the chicken – it will be there for them to buy,” said Catsimatidis.
He added that the price hikes and supply chain shortages have been exacerbated by the rising cost of oil, which is necessary for transportation.
Meanwhile, Egg Innovations CEO John Bruunquell, who acquired the first U.S. patent for reduced fat and cholesterol eggs, echoed Catsimatidis’ sentiment on “Fox & Friends” with co-host Ainsley Earhardt, warning that an uptick in demand coinciding with labor, freight and vendor issues may soon hamper egg supply.

The Dems certainly work harder toward their goals than Repubs
That’s because the Repubs have no goals other then lining their owns pockets.
That’s because a large number of the republicans have the same goals as the democrats and they’re content riding the gravy train and letting the democrats do all the work.
We tend to use labels for ease of understanding and brevity; that makes sense. Perhaps a more apt descriptor of current events is the Uniparty works harder toward their goal of domination than classic liberals and classic conservatives. Dems and Repubs weren’t always like they are now labeled. Factions have taken over but IMO don’t speak for the majority of citizens.
Citizens of faith and morals tend to be live and let live and don’t seek to control other human beings and rule over them. That’s a strength and also a weakness.
My family saw similar dynamics in Russia before and during the Revolution; in America they became classic Democrat farmers. Live and let live, men and women of faith believing in a great Republic that gave them a second chance at life. That was then and this is now. Times changed. I catch glimpses of the past now and again when the few old Russian farming families hit the local Lutheran church. The traditions and philosophy is still strong, but a marked and tiny minority now.
There was a time when we lived as a community, Democrats and Republicans and Independents like I became. That time appears to be past. Hopefully we can find it again.
I have taken to saying out loud in the grocery store , “people complained about Trump, but he’d have done something about these prices.” Almost one hundred percent of the time I get head nods and “you got that right!” And most of these people are Black. They are running off the Dem plantation. Only fraud can give this next election to the Dems.

I’m wondering if all the latest official ‘revelations’ about Covid and changes of heart by the media are part of a campaign to encourage the Supreme Court to reject the mandates. The strategy would be two pronged, worried that the mandates are going to make the supply chain issues far worse they want to use the court to give them cover for a policy retreat, a tactic that will also focus the media and their bases rage at the institution, help moves to court pack, keeping the die-hards motivated for Nov 2022.

Since Harry Truman left the White House, only once has a political party held the executive branch for 3 consecutive terms (1980-92). The three Reagan terms (Bush 1 was merely a stand in) were in direct response to the seeming ineptitude of Carter, and the Republican grip on power from 2022-2036 will be a direct result of Biden’s very real ineptitude.

If one looks at history regarding wars on our soil here in the U.S., very very few people participated in wars and the vast majority continued on with life relatively unaffected by war. As example, take the Civil War and the prosperous new state of California. How affected were gold miners, loggers, fishermen, farmers, and ordinary city dwellers by the Civil War? Very little, if at all. To them it was far away. To those in the middle of it, fighting it, totally different story.
Here it will be the same, most citizens will be little affected, shortages here and there, hopefully no more bioweapons, some financial struggles but, absent wringing hands on the internet, life will go on.
With the gift of the internet, we see that every day, and perhaps wonder how those people could be so unaware of the strife going on in the same country they’re all smiles about. It’s good information but nothing new.

Liberals actually do believe in shared misery. They are so locked into their belief in redistribution that they can’t even grasp the reality that if you take from the productive members of society (the middle class, not the idle rich) and give to the poor (the lazy poor, not the hard-working poor), everyone will be poor because the productive members of society will say, “What’s the use in working hard if the government is going to take all of my money?”
