This was an amazing interview, especially considering it was with Glenn Beck who was one of Trump’s biggest detractors back in 2016. But, regardless, I think it was very good.
I love Donald Trump, but I am strongly in disagreement with him regarding the “vaccines” which I have refused to take. I think he meant well, and drove an extraordinary effort to make them available, but I think they are neither effective or safe.
But, that said, I’ve had disagreements with my son who was formerly also a Trump lover like me. He thinks his time has passed and that we need someone like Ron DeSantis (who I also think is great). But I think this particular situation, especially considering how much damage Biden and his Democrats have done in less than a year, deserves someone who has special knowledge and experience to confront it. DeSantis would have a long learning curve and his state of Florida could very well go blue in his absence. He should wait until 2028 so we could have Trump for four more years, and then DeSantis for another eight. This is all just my humble opinion based on the fact of how much I love the Donald.
Excellent synopsis and an opinion shared by many. There are some that would prefer the less experienced and less bombastic DeSantis and that would not be a bad choice. However, given the condition we’re in, we don’t need an Eisenhower or a Bradley. To clean up this mess, we need a Patton. Donald Trump is Patton.
Someone, like Trump, who does not really need to worry about his political future can act with fortitude rather than appeasement. Desantis has a future to worry about.
Trump also has the demeanor to do what needs to be done. Sometimes we need a diplomat and bridge-builder in the White House. Today we need a raging bull to blast gaping holes in the Deep State with a ‘fool me once, shame on you’ perspective. With a Republican Congress (not counting treasonous RINOs), we need to deliver a body blow to the establishment, e.g. hiring freeze, annual 5% reduction in budgets without attendant reduction in services (arguing that cuts are ‘draconian’ is such a lie as it presumes that our government is a finely-tuned machine that can’t survive even a 1% cut), elimination of entire departments, such as Education, IRS and the relocation of many to anywhere outside of DC. For example, moving Interior Dept. to somewhere out West, Dept. Of Energy to ANWAR.
I could go on, but a second Trump term should be seen as a mandate to cut The Swamo off at the balls – a culling that’s at least 50 years late.
I would like to see the DOJ headquartered in Alaska, while we phase them out and replace this rogue department’s job duties with another one more in alignment with our Constitution. The FBI could have the igloo next door for convenience.

This is what I said from the beginning of his candidacy. I even got a letter to the editor printed in the San Diego paper saying “Donald Trump is no John F. Kennedy but he just might be a General George Patton which is what we need.”
Problem with DeSantis is we need him where he is. And he seems as aware of it as the rest of us. He’s staying put for the time being. 2028 methinks.
DeSantis is a politico with the usual beholdenness for money. Good? Bad? Sincere? Insincere? These questions don’t carry much water and become quickly subsumed by the beholdenness thing.

I believe you have hit on the exact crux of the issue. President Trump could be as independent as he was because he did not have any financial strings attached to him that could be pulled by others. I remember another example of a man I once thought would be a good candidate, Scott Walker. He started saying things that I wanted to hear and VERY shortly afterward had to recant because his major donor did not agree. He dropped out of the 2016 race not long after that incident.
Long story short, President Trump’s wealth has made him able to do what he thinks is best FOR THE COUNTRY. No other candidate has that freedom, and that includes Governor DeSantis. I wish we had more candidates who had sufficient wealth to not need big donor assistance, but we don’t, and as long as that is the case, we are subject to being sold out for the candidate’s personal gain.
Who wouldn’t be tempted by the kind of generational wealth given to cheating liars like Clinton and Obama? Far too many, if not all, of our politicians look at dishonesty that makes them money the same way as did Jay Gould, who, during the Erie War, coined the phrase, “Nothing is lost save honor.”
President Trump was a once-in-a-lifetime blessing for this country. Would that we had supported him more strongly!

I’ve lost track of the number of people within my circle of friends and family who’ve been injured or killed by the jab. My aunt immediately developed blood clots and is still on oxygen a year later. A longtime friend from the military just told me his healthy dad took the jab and was found dead in his front yard a few days later from a heart attack. Doctors said it was a coincidence. My teenage nephew’s best friend is now paralyzed with GBS. I could go on and on. Don’t tell me it’s rare!
