At first blush, this story seemed too bizarre to be true; alas it is not. [h/t Gateway Pundit] As noted by Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit, a few weeks ago the Salvation Army stepped into the social justice arena and began promoting the premise of white guilt.
According to an “internal study guide” from the charitable organization intended to “foster positive conversations and grace-filled reflection among Salvationists“, the white members and donors to the Salvation Army were requested to reflect on their inherent racism. According to the Salvation Army’s “International Social Justice Commission“, this was presumably of some charitable value.
Obviously, this request stirred up some controversy. In an era where the toxic issues around Critical Race Theory being taught in schools has been in the headlines, there is likely not a worse time for a charitable group to join the social justice cause and push CRT toward the aggregate public.
Many people were surprised by the decision of the Salvation Army to push the divisive issue of racism in what appeared to be an effort by the organization to enter the orbit of wokeism.
Quite frankly, I cannot reference a more ridiculous organizational decision than this example in recent memory. However, that said, while the original decision was nuts, the effort to clean up the mess they created for themselves is exponentially more nuts. Amid the backlash, the Salvation Army released the following statement:

[LINK]
The first thought of ‘what were they thinking‘, becomes compounded by realizing the Salvation Army is a partner with something called the “International Social Justice Commission.” I mean, seriously, what the heck is this all about?
Mistake one might be taking the intent of a historic organization away from charitable giving and into the toxic and divisive world of racial politics. Mistake number two is doubling down on the decision to engage with race in some ill-fated effort to establish politically correct bona fides.
If you wanted to completely destroy the guiding mission of a charity, the Salvation Army is showing everyone exactly how to do it.
I’m not sure what qualifications or prisms others use, but myself, as a donor, I want to see my money used by a charity in such a way as to care for people who are in the most need – and that has absolutely nothing to do with race or any other qualification. I am literally stunned by the intent of the Salvation Army in this mess, and their cleanup effort is even worse.
This is one of the biggest disappointments of the year, and yet, again shows that organizations can lose their entire purpose by following leadership making stupid decisions.
Jim Hoft follows up the issue with a highlight showing the Salvation Army is in a crisis now, because people are not giving to the charity at the time of year when the Christmas Season Salvation Army kettles usually raise a lot of money.
(Fox-13) […] Not only is the nonprofit organization short on donations, they also are in desperate need of bell ringers to staff the red kettles seen at businesses around the country. (read more)
Well, DUH! What exactly did The Salvation Army expect to happen?

Those red buckets filled with money people have touched could be moronicon super spreaders. Shame on them for not using the internet to fund CRT charity schemes like BLM.
“The CRT-DEI complex grift is wild.
“$207 per minute to browbeat an audience of young people at a public university and Kendi gets to keep and withhold recording of his presentation.
“Profiting from racial division is wrong and I will oppose it in Congress!”
I always dropped money in the SA buckets, in an effort to be a little less white I have stopped all donations of any kind, attending sporting events, no entertainment, etc.
Being less white is an incredible savings plan, who knew? /s
Jesus told us to:
LOVE GOD, LOVE OTHERS.
They should have just said that,
but they went WOKE, and now are BROKE!
Hope they learned a great lesson.
Merry Christmas!
President Trump nailed it. “Everything Woke turns to shit.”
I believe this was a small group within the Army that produced this offensive material. But, withdrawing it was not enough. They should have forcefully denounced it and fired people. Alas, they did not and will be lucky to ever recover.
Perhaps they plan to Build Back Better…
It may have been a small group that produced the offensive material, but it must be the same small group that is in charge, else people would have been fired.
Definitely

LMAO! I haven’t purchased a Coca Cola brand product since they went woke.
Oh, ho ho! Wok-a-Cola strikes again with their biggest fan, Woke Carl.
YES!
What better way to shed our racism than to shed the mantle of “White Savior”
DON’T DONATE
LOL
See how that works?
“I’m not sure the qualifications or prisms that others use, but myself as a donor I want to see my money used by a charity in such a way as to care for people who are in the most need – and that has absolutely nothing to do with race or any other qualification. I am literally stunned by the intent of the Salvation Army in this mess and their cleanup effort is even worse.”
I can speak from personal experience. When I found myself in need and it was just my two sons (age 3 and 4) trying to get through a very hard time, I found every charity including the salvation army, had nothing to help a white man with two boys. On the other hand every female and especially every hispanic and black female had little trouble getting any help.
Fortunately, that time did not last long for us but the sting of being excluded from help because I’m white and male? That sting has been with me for the past 30 years. Whether the preference was due to the operators or because of some other reason, we needed help and received none.
I can’t bring myself to repay the unkindness with kindness. Today, anti-male views and activism is clear and obvious to pretty much everyone. But back then? It wasn’t so well known or recognized and I was certainly shocked and dumbfounded.
It’s because they assume a white man can have a job and their funds should go to an oppressed minority. Those assumptions are in everything now.
Greg, it was way more than that premise; WP’s are supposed to apologize for their inherent racism. CRT believes that all WP’s are Born racists, and all minorities are born, pardon the pun, Pure as the Driven Snow, incapable of any racism whatsoever. Their red kettles are full of brown fecal matter as far as I’m concerned. When you replace the Gospel with CRT, and expect me as a Caucasian female to blaspheme God and swear my allegiance to your cockamamie ideas, it’s Not. Gonna. Happen.
You would think they would have learned from what has happened to the Boy Scouts after they bowed to the LGBTXYZ crowd.
“It’s because they assume a white man can have a job and their funds should go to an oppressed minority”
Well, just to update you, they also feel that that white man’s job should go to an oppressed minority
… the salary, at least, I can’t say about the work and responsibility part
These times since 2016 were living in have certainly been enlightening
It’s seems there just whole bunch a things coming to light
What comes around goes around
Salvation Army sucks — I have personal experience with them — they are not what they are cracked up to be and there have been accusations of enslavement type conditions of those they are “helping” while “Officers” do lots of golfing and high on the hogging — so this really is not so out of line for them….
Interesting , we have had serious problems with the Red Cross and would never give them a dime either.
We like to give local and small.
Keep things near home perhaps to small churches or to give directly to needy families themselves and cut out the middlemen.
Experienced my first bout of racism a couple weeks ago. I am a white middle aged male and was the direct recipient of open racism. Apparently my race and ownership stake in my business directly precluded me from gaining financing from a [redacted] entity.
The crazy thing about it was if I took their words to me and switched out “white” with “black”, “latino”, etc it would be front page news. The more shocking piece of it was that I could continue on the process “if I made sure that I was the minority holder in the company and that the majority were all black or Latinx”!
At that last comment I politely but immediately exited the conversation.
Found in the bin…. 🙁
Your cheek bones look high to me…
I also had an eye opening event this year. I had struggled to survive in a position with a tyrant manage for 9 months. I had finally been given an opportunity to transfer to another department Hooray! no, In our first meeting together one of my new departments co workers, a beautiful blonde haired blued eyed Spanish women asked if I had checked my white privilege, as she had been doing.
My hair may have caught on fire as I began shaking and turned to her, and said really honey, my so called white privilege is why you came to my country.
I sadly did not bring the duct tape for my mouth that day. That was the end of that job I walked out.
It was the same way with my single mother of three children and no one else helping her. My father was a deadbeat father that only remembered he had children sometimes when he was drunk. I remember her applying for food stamps and getting approved for $6.00 a month. (She had a job) There were many times our lights would get turned off because she couldn’t pay the light bill, we were often putting random things together just to eat. I remember one time having hot dog chili with spaghetti noodles or having just a bag of potatoes to get us by. If we lived somewhere that the stove used gas then, we didn’t have a stove. We used a microwave and an electric skillet. NO ONE helped my mom. She was the hardest working and the most giving person I have ever known. When I spoke at her memorial service I remember saying, “she always gave more than she got.”
Most Christmas’ she would come to me and my older brother and explain to us that she didn’t have the money to buy all of us something for Christmas, so she would get me and my older brother one thing that wasn’t expensive at all just so my little brother would have something under the tree.
Every Christmas, I do something for an individual child, and I used to drop money in every bucket I walked by. This year, I picked a 17-year-old foster child in my community. I know exactly where my money goes, and it goes towards a child that I know needs it. This year, I specifically picked an older child just because I feel like they get overlooked more so than the younger children. I could be wrong, but I just feel that way.
There used to be huge Christmas tree at a very upmarket mall in Dallas that had pinned on every branch the names and ages of individual children who would go without at Christmas. They were, in effect, adopted by others and given a present or even presents. I don’t know if that giving tradition is still ongoing.
What a loving mother you had, Tonya. I know it broke her heart not to be in a position to do for you what she would have dearly wanted to. But she gave you and your siblings something way more valuable and sustaining. Something without price. And you know it and carry it with you every single day
I’m sure you miss her very much. God bless you.
I remember eating lard sandwiches sometimes. We would put pepper on them so there was at least a flavor. It filled my empty belly and I was grateful for that lard sandwich.
I offered a ride to a woman standing on a street corner near a storage unit not long before Easter a few years ago, she had a bunch of suitcases that barely fit in my compact car and had planned to take a bus. She asked if I could take her to the food shelf so she could get a piece of meat for Easter. I had just bought a ham because it was on sale but was going to a friends house for Easter so when we couldn’t find a food shelf open I asked what she needed and gave her the ham and potatoes. When I found out it was her birthday I gave her my flowers. It was the right thing to do.
We would make bacon and then fry bread in the bacon grease. Incredibly filling.
My parents set the example also by searching out a family and doing a secret santa for that family every Christmas, no middle man.
So we tried to do the same if we could.
We have always tried to give to local food banks and local charities instead of the big wigs.
How right you are. More precious than gold. Grandmothers, too, as you have explained above. She loved you and your sister very much.
I used to pick up 6 ornaments at church 3 for the kids in the housing project and 3 for the nursing home inmates, mom and my sister weren’t religious but enjoyed buying the gifts. I matched the requests with our interests and remember how much fun mom had at Michaels, finding art supplies for a 12 year old.
I go to a different church now and we support a religious order’s food shelf, but ask what they need so have changing donations.
Thank you so much for your kind words. You are so right. I am actually grateful that I grew up the way I did. It will be six years on 12/22/21 since I lost my mom to lung cancer. I’m thankful that I was there with her through it all and until her very last breath. I miss her so so much. She did her very best and was the strongest hardest working woman that I knew right along with my grandmother. I would give anything to have them both back.
After growing up and having children of my own, my mom also did for families and children every year for Christmas instead of buying my children gifts. Her belief was that my children had more than enough, and she was absolutely right, and my children understood completely. She would actually have all of us involved in helping her to help other people in need.
God bless you and your family.
Charity, unlike taxes, benefits both the receiver and the giver. Do not give up the opportunity to help another because an organization has lost its way. And never let politics get in the way of an act of kindness. There are many ways to give. I truly hope you will find comfort in charity. It is one of those things that elevates us.
A mark of any great civilization, DD. And as is becoming increasingly apparent, a civilization which here has tragically lost its footings, in this and in so many other ways.
You are right. We all are impoverished by the diminution of it.
I had obtained sole legal custody of my oldest 2 children in Lake County, Florida and never received any governmental or charitable help. In 1990, when I went to court in Buncombe County, NC, to establish it as a court of venue and get a pittance of child support, I had to endure the thinly cloaked ire of the court. My ex didn’t respond to a summons in any way, shape or form. I had proof that she was legally notified.
I’ve been around the block a few times and usually the court doesn’t like it when people ignore the court but not in this case. I was given the distinct impression, with a sledge hammer, that the court “just knew” I was pulling a fast one. I was granted the $15 a week I was seeking and Buncombe County became the court of venue.
It does get old listening to women and Beta males preach about MEN having no idea of how hard it is to raise children as a single parent.
That’s really horrible. I’m so sorry you had to endure that with such small children.
When I ran into one I told them I could not contribute because I was WHITE. Lost me and no matter how they apologize I have other charities I can give to.
I let them know a little more STERNLY shall we say…………….and BOY DID IT FEEL GOOD!!!
I spoke with my local bellringer last week…he has been at the same location for several years and I chatted with him frequently as I almost always stopped to drop something in the bucket either on my way in or out of the store. I told him that SA “really stepped in it” when they decided to attempt to “shame” a large portion of their most generous donors over the color of their skin!
He looked completely embarrassed and said that the document in question was never supposed to be released publicly – that it was not even intended for affiliates in the US but was simply supposed to be an internal document to raise awareness of “issues of racism” in other countries. I told him flat out that was a lousy cover story and the fact that the document was even allowed to circulate internally meant that the leadership of the organization tactically approved of the content and for that reason alone, I would never support them again. He apologized again and said that there were some people who had protested when it was originally posted and warned leadership that it was divisive but they were ignored.
At this point, the number of places where I will never donate one dime of my every decreasing discretionary income continues to grow…and honestly, I think that was the whole point of GW Bush’s “Office of Faith Based Initiatives”. If private charities get embroiled with the government, they lose their original mission and end up relying more and more on gubmint dollars, which in turn, gives more and more control over to those who write the checks!
They got woke and now they’ll go broke…unless they totally capitulate to the Feds and agree to dance to their tune, in which our tax dollars will pour into their coffers! They will not be happy until we are all living on Uncle Sam’s Plantation!
“was never supposed to be released publicly”
…so that makes it okay Mr. Bellringer? 😂
Exactly!! Don’t let the “little people” know what we really believe…gotta keep those dollars coming in, ya know?
Very similar to how the schools were pushing CRT in the classroom and the parents didn’t find out until their kids were doing school via Zoom and they started hearing it for themselves! Sunlight is always the best disinfectant!
So where would those donations go? To all who need? Or are they discriminating on the basis of color now, without letting it be known that’s what is happening. As Daniel says above that seems to have been their game from way back. So now we know.
Just like the foul medical establishment is doing regards treatments in ERs or hospitals. White? End of the queque for you, no matter how desperate you might be for medical attention. And I could name many more who think skin color is a determinate factor for needed assistance. They used to call that racism.
Taking money under false pretenses. Shame shame on them all.
I experience the White to the end of the queue with my Mom last week. She is on blood thinner for A-fib. She burst a blood vessel in her eye, who knows how, and it was completely black with blood. I rushed her to the ER and we sat there for hours. Meanwhile, obese Black woman after obese Black woman after obese Black woman after obese Black woman came in (all in slippers and sweats, BTW and it was right after work, I was still in my office clothes), checked in and shortly was called back. We got out of there five hours after we went in. But we Whites are the oppressors. Sure. Tell me another one.
Oh bless her heart. How infuriating!!!!!! And of course you can’t say anything because they would only shove her back in the queque.
And yes, I think they are that cruel and despicable. Healers and relievers of human suffering they are not. I am more sorry than you can imagine, AG.
Critical Race Theory will bring this country down if we allow it to metastasize.
There are only a few in a position to put a knife between its shoulder blades as it were. DeSantis for one who is actually doing what he has said he would. The rest just make the appropriate noises.
There’s a LOT of money waiting for the few businesses willing to positively identify themselves as non-woke. I wonder why more don’t.
I suspect that fear of being destroyed by the mob is probably one of the main reasons…look at how quickly the Left, through their willing allies in Big Tech and the MSM, can mobilize against any company or business that dares to go against the “accepted narrative”. I think most “non-woke” businesses are just trying to fly under the radar and survive right now. And if their only “advertising” is by word of mouth they have a better chance of increased business WITHOUT increased visibility!
For fear of getting robbed and/or destroyed.. it’s not like you can actually count on your local “Justus” center to punish criminals for their crimes when you live in a community over 50,000 voters..
Yes, many focus on OBAMA. “OBAMA this, Obama that!” and while I won’t express the depth of my negative feelings for Obama and his minions,…
BUSH established the foundation that Obama built on.
The Conmunists now openly “out of the closet” i.e “Democrats” NEVER could have moved our country this far to the left, if not for their complicit allies, the Conmunists still desperately trying to remain in the closet (Republicons).
PDJT “Broke” them, when he crossed a previously sancrosanct line, of critising Bush and McStain to his everlasting credit.
That fatally infected them with TDS, and for them there is NO cure, and no vaccine.
Yep! I remember feeling such relief when W was finally declared the winner in the 2000 election…but I was already gravely disappointed long before 9/11 happened. He collaborated with Teddy Kennedy for Medicare Part D, ostensibly to help seniors but really to enrich Big Pharma. Then he introduced the DISASTROUS “No Child Left Behind” which basically Federalized the Department of Education, which was the exact opposite of his campaign promises to dismantle the whole agency. But the “Office of Faith Based Initiatives” was the final straw for me, as it was very clearly a Trojan Horse to destroy private Christian charities and create an entire network of pseudo-religious organizations with unlimited access to the Treasury.
I voted for him again in 2004, but only because of how awful of a candidate John Kerry was…Bush’s job was clearly to lay the ground work for Obummer and he has worked hand-in-hand with the Clintons and the Cheneys to turn this country over to the Globalists. The whole family is a corrupt scheming barrel of snakes and I wish them all the misery they have inflicted on the rest of us!!
The Bush Family is deep in the swamp…going back to his Father George HW.
Clearly a disappointment save and except justice Alito.
His “legacy” clearly is tainted due to his lack of support for our Lion.
He’s a loser…
Snakes are a beautiful part of Creation and there will be many more snakes in Heaven than Leftists. Snakes would give me a “thumbs up” … but you understand.
I think the Robert Conquest law needs a rewrite. It should be: EVEN the organizations that are explicitly right-wing WILL, over time, become left-wing – it will simply happen more slowly.
It could be that time limited charters of such organizations would forestall much of that issue.
There’s some political or social ‘law’ that says: ‘Any organization that doesn’t have to make a profit to stay in business, will eventually be taken over by Communists’.
Is there nothing sacred and immune to the Marxist onslaught against this once great nation!?
Don’t think so, which is why the malignant Marxist theology should be stamped out and eradicated from our culture and schools. Also, it should be required curriculum in schools about how to recognize propaganda techniques (e.g. gaslighting, omission, repetition, narrative engineering), and also how to recognize Communist ‘Organizing’ techniques (incitement etc).
“Required” by WHO?
Curriculum requirements should be detirmined at the local and at most STATE level.
And, such requirements might start by teaching at all grade levels, appropriate to age, classes on the Constitution,,and how the founders intended our government to work, etc.
And sure, as a part of teaching history, a detailed coarse on the CON that is CONmunism, including both how it fools people and the human cost, would be valuable.
There is a Charter School, in Metro Phx Az, that is based on such an approach.
Just as CRT fanatics are embedding CRT into all aspects of curriculum, this school “embeds” patriotism, American Costitution and history into EVERY aspect of its curriculum.
Starts each day with a student leading all, over the PA, in the pledge of allegiance. The students (selected st random) to lead the PoA, view it as an honor, and recieve positive attention from their peers.
In short, this is the MODEL, and required NO Federal intervention to establish.
Two conservative educators, disgusted with what they experienced in “Public indoctrination”, sought funding, filed the paperwork, and established the school.
Yes, it was the legislation “allowing” the Charter schools to recieve State and Federal $, while having more latitude in curriculum etc that enabled this school to be established.
But, its a start, a model and a demonstration of what needs to happen, and where we need to go?
I have taught and will continue to teach this.
No.
Salvation Army International Social Justice Commission… HA!! I just went to their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/salvationarmyisjc and its full of United Nations, COP26, Gender-Based Justice, United Nations Sustainable Development… BLAH BLAH BLAH… They just got caught speaking their brand of social justice white hatred out in the open.
Yes, it goes back decades. The Cross didn’t get them where they are now.
Excellent work, Lazio.
In case anyone doesn’t know:
Social Justice = Communist Tyranny
Whoever required they do CRT thang,( on the board or whatever) wanted them destroyed. Mission accomplished.
I cannot forgive this bullsh$t. Wish I could be are in a culture war, to say the least. There are too many decent and deserving organizations (though many are not popular names).
Screw them. I am tired of being cuckolded. Kinda sad, I am sure most of the foot soldiers are sincere people.
But again, we are in a freaking war that we did not choose. I am done with the B.S.
Those good people can wake up and go elsewhere. It’s like saying the guy locking the doors on the trains to the Concentration Camp showers was a good guy, but the evil camp commander was really responsible for operations.
When you learn there are bad things going on, vote with your feet. This goes for contributors, customers, AND EMPLOYEES/Volunteers.
Of all the insanity I witnessed this year, this one was the worst. I actually read the document in question and couldn’t believe that a Christian organization would ever produce such rubbish. They accuse white people of being racist simply by virtue of their skin colour.
So let’s get this straight – white skin means you’re racist even if you’ve never entertained, much less acted on, a racist thought.
If you dispute the charge then that just proves you’re racist.
Therefore you must absolve yourself of the sin of being white.
The folks at the Salvos who thought this was a good idea have completely lost sight of the heart of their mission….i.e. God.
Shame on them.
“Christian” organization.
That’s funny.
More like money changers in the Temple.
These people are corrupt.
I know a homeless person who has had to stay at the SA dormitory in Dallas. He told me they make them take cold showers. Not a broken water heater. And this is a large facility with money to operate a big building. It’s intentional. They treat them like cattle. Get in. Get out. Move along, doggies. And collect those donations!
I grew up in a small village in upstate NY during the 50s. I suppose I was racist throughout my childhood even though I never ever saw or met a person of color in person until I was 12 years old.
AA is not far behind these guys. “How to destroy a Foundation” by the wokenistas. Their message has gone from ‘anyone who has a desire to stop drinking is welcome’ to – we need to be diverse and inclusive as dictated by the wokesters in New York, CA & Canada. Heaven forbid if someone is offended or ‘feel’ not included bcz their preferred pronoun wasn’t used …
Not that anyone in AA is identified or called by their pronouns – but hey-semantics…
The only power we have is the power of the purse-I’ve stopped donating. I’m not wasting my money on costs to change all our literature to remove the words “men & women” to be replaced with ‘people, they-them’ or “inmate” to ‘person in custody’… ridiculousness!
Good Lord please save us from this insanity.
One would think someone who was wishing to stop imbibing alcohol wouldn’t care how they were referenced as long as it was respectfully. I hate to hear that such a great organization has fallen off the wagon. I have had several work acquaintances who were alcoholics who began to lead sober lives after attending AA meetings. It works.
“people who menstruate” for some reason was the one that really got me.
women=people who menstruate
men=people who DON’T menstruate (even if they take hormones and have their tallywacker cut off.
So, aren’t they ACTUALLY affirming the basic, fundamental truth, that their are TWO genders, those who menstruate, and those that don’t, and no amount of transgender b.s., pretending, homone or surgeries can change this fundamental truth?
When they say they’ve “withdrawn the guide for appropriate review”, what they mean is that they will find a way to sneak it back when nobody is looking.
I think I shall spend the money I used to give to them on CRACKERS! I really like Ritz crackers, especially with peanut butter.
Nobody should have to apologize for the actions of others. Collective guilt sounds too much like Rev. Wright’s collective salvation. Not Christian, not even close. The Salvation Army can go jump.
Ritz crackers are rascist!
Because peanuts are grown in the south where they had slaves.
I love Ritz, too, but had to give them up! Ritz is made by Nabisco, who is owned by Mondelez International ~ another woke corporation. Check Nabisco out at these two sites:
https://www.2ndvote.com/
https://www.cancelthiscompany.com/index.html
I noticed the red kettle was not at my grocery store this week nor last week but it had been there the 2 previous times I had been there last month (before the scandal).
Unrelated: I went maskless in this and a different grocery store this morning and no one said a peep. Take that tyrannical gov. Kathy H.
In their effort to stay in grace with the Marxist “Woke” drive, many organizations, boards & councils, corporations, etc have somehow chosen the most radical, most isolated and most ignorant of what the normal American citizens put up with in their everyday lives; regardless of color or creed! Who is the most stupid; the ones making the appointment of the one holding the position? The Salvation Army is done, over, finished from this one!
Well, I have in the past tried to be especially generous to this outfit.
But this year I just walk on by.
This year maybe non-whites can carry on the tradition let’s see how that works out.
Its POC, didn’t you get the memo, lol. “non-whites” what a rascist way to say it, focusing on WHITES, as the point of comparison/S.
Being sarcastic, but this IS the reasoning of the idiots, for coming up with “People of Color” instead of the obvious “non-whites”.
I’m a beige color so I am a person of color. I was born in the United States which makes me 100% Native American.
The Democrat Party wants to Divide and Conquer America.
Democrats want to pit everyone against each other.
The purpose of Marxist Critical Race Theory (CRT) is to divide America.
The UNIPARTY wants to divide and conquer America.
That is why, for years each face of the two-faced Uniparty created and magnified “wedge issues”; each side proposed (to THEIR base) solutions, but in reality the LAST thing the Uniparty wanted to do, was to actually SOLVE these issues, as they used them every election cycle, to generate donations and votes for “their side”.
There is only ONE thing the Conmunists of the Uniparty fear; a UNIFIED electorate, STANDING in UNISON to withdraw the consent of the governed.
They FEAR this, because they have absolutely NO WAY to counter it; even with totalian power over the military and police, they can NOT arrest or shoot EVERYONE.
And so, virtually ALL of their strategy and tactics, and all of their false narratives are engineered to generate DIVISION.
Whether we are arguing about the weather (CC and GND) or Race (CRT and DEI) or support for Israel vs support for Palestinians,..it really doesn’t matter, so long as we are ARGUEING.
If they could come up with a narrative to get us to argue about the color of our cars, they would promote it in an instant.
Divide and Conquer, your absolutely correct.
But singling out DEMOCRATS, and by exclusion absolving REPUBLICONS, instead of recognising and exposing the UNIPARTY, is simply doing their work for them.
“Us vs Them” is hard to resist (human nature) and thats WHY they are so reliant on it; cause it WORKS.
I won’t be donating to them ever again or I’ll write on the dollar bill FOR NEEDY WHITE PEOPLE ONLY!
Wouldn’t want to offend any minorities with my racist money.
Yeah, I usually give a significant donation to Salvation Army. No more. I don’t do woke bullshit. I am not a racists, never was, and don’t personally know of any, so Salvation Army, maybe you should be MORE white and less judgmental.
I told the Black Salvation Army person in charge of manning the donation bucket that I was one of the very generous donors in the past. Once I realized the appreciation for doing so was to categorize me as a White Supremacist all SA donations in the future will be sent, instead, to K9s for Warriors. This is an organization that does not discriminate re the donors’ race, gender or religion and express (versus denounce) their appreciation for any and every donation.
K9s is great. Thanks for mentioning it.
When asked for a donation the other day I said vets and pets only, sorry. Wow, what a dirty look I got. I just laughed
If you want money for people with minds that hate, All I can I can tell you is brother you’ll have to wait…
I have always donated to them until I had an encounter with one of the employees at one of the shelters. I was trying to get a place for someone to stay for the night. She was immediately rude and seemed bothered by just me walking in the door. I just walk right by them kettle ringers now. This year, I chose a foster child in my community. They will never get another dime of my very hard-earned money.
Print out and cut apart these donation slips for their woke kettles.
Clever, but I refuse to apologize because I have no racism to apologize for.
Apologize for no longer giving to them?
Dear SA, go woke . . . go broke.
It has been my belief that you vote everyday with your wallet for years now.
Since they’re an Army, they thought they reported to Thoroughly Modern Milley
Does woke general Milley outrank a woke 4 star admiral with a history of mental illness?
Even though woke admiral never served in the military? LOLOLOL
Wait a minute, you mean the wokies are not stepping in and filling the void? (Sarcasm.) Anyone who has ever worked as a waiter or waitress – relying on tips for an honest living – will recognize the silliness of such a thought.
A “shout out” to Hoft and the reporters at Gateway Pundit, they along with Sundance are engaged in a HURCULEAN effort, and the foundation and mainstays for the new alt-conservative media, and deserve our thanks AND $.
I SAW the bell ringer, standing outside the grocery store entrance, I REFLECTED on their public pronouncement that I should ponder and atone for my “white guilt”, and I kept my $ in my pocket, and walked on by.
Hopefully, every “go woke, go broke” instance like this, will gradually reshape thinking in corporate board rooms, and eventually reduce or eliminate the kind of reflexive responces that flooded millions of $ from corporations into BLM.
I also once respected, admired, and supported the organization. Until now. Very sad. There are many many other respectable organizations in need of our support. One more to cross off the list.
We passed through a red kettle today and told the bell ringer why we were not contributing.
The day after the initial announcement, all the red kettles disappeared even the one by At Home and Hobby Lobby. Have not seen one since.
This is interesting. Could it be that these two stores asked Salvation Army to leave? Or did the bellringers just give up?
Infiltrate a Christian organization, then infect it with cancerous Marxism, and watch it rot from within and die.
These commies are deadly serious about their mission, and America had better come to grips with that. They intend to destroy us, one institution at a time if we don’t stop them.
God bless.
This^^^^^^^^^
Guilt-tripping whitey is starting to backfire, and any mainstream charity who pulls similar crap will suffer the same result. Whites hear every day how superfluous to modern-day requirements we are, yet when we drop out, the consequences are always felt. You mean all that vital diversity isn’t taking our place in charitable giving?
It’s called don’t bite the hand that feeds you!
“We are confident in the power of the gospel”….Apparently NOT.
F**k The Salvation Army.
I’m through with them.
It’s called “Race Extortion”
Is it racism or just plain common sense to avoid living in or near neighborhoods with a large Black population and exposing your family to violence and possibly even death! If I don’t go mountain climbing in the Sierra Mountains am I racist against mountain? What about bull riding or cliff diving in Mexico?
Gave once before the story broke.
Never again!
What hit those people???!!!
This is propaganda coming out of their Alexandria, VA offices. The International Social Justice Commission, based in New York City, seems to be aligned with the United Nations or has very close links with them. Here are pictures of their “team”. https://www.salvationarmy.org/isjc/team
Here is their statement about themselves: https://www.salvationarmy.org/isjc/directorsletter
And here is their resource “Let’s Talk about Racism” plus a few other things. It has NOT been removed. It is still on their site and is a clickable link to the pdf of the pamphlet. https://www.salvationarmy.org/isjc/think
Any group or organization too ignorant to avoid jumping on the racist, Marxist bandwagon is too ignorant to be trusted with my donations. Completely done donating to this now political group.
“Social justice” is Marxism not Christianity. As for the corrupted, communist Salvation Army, it’s time to merge with BLM.
God does not judge people by race, but by their deeds.
Their arrogant “we have done our best but, unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts” and their fake moral superiority piss me off to no end.
I will not be shamed for the color of my skin or my alleged thoughtcrimes by a bunch of Marxist SJW.
No donations from me. Ever.
Not now . . . and never again. DONE!
I have just one thing to say to the SA:
HA HA HA
SUCKS TO BE YOU
Interesting they also try to blame their audience instead of just admitting a mistake. “Some have chosen to ignore…”
Go woke, go broke.
“by following leadership making stupid decisions.”
I think you got this backwards………
It Should read : by following stupid leadership making decisions.
I think there’s room in that sentence to use “Stupid” in both places 🙂
Communism preys on all things good and holy.
The International Social Justice Commission is part of the Salvation Army. The offensive Study Guide was an internal SA document.
From the Salvation Army statement: “We have done our best to provide accurate information, but unfortunately, some have chosen to ignore those efforts. [snip] Our supporters know that ours is a message of love, even for those who disagree or attack us.”
Hint to Salvation Army: you might not want to issue a Study Guide titled “Jews: Born Christ Killers.”
Salvation Army leaders do not have even the first inkling of a clue what just happened, or why. Clearly they see nothing wrong with their document that asserted collective white blood guilt, nor do they have any understanding of how profoundly unchristian such an assertion is. The only thing they see wrong with it was that some of us “ignored” and “disagreed” with their claim of white blood guilt. Their statement of withdrawal simply piles additional accusations on top of the original one, and grudgingly withdraws the guide while neither disavowing nor apologizing for the accusation of collective white blood guilt.
The Salvation Army cannot cease to exist fast enough to suit me. It is lost. Mourn it and move on.
White blood guilt, a blood libel, pretty spot on conclusion Trapper.
It really is that simple, that ugly, and that murderously false.
Maybe they should have thought about love when they slapped us in the face! Done with them.
