At first blush, this story seemed too bizarre to be true; alas it is not. [h/t Gateway Pundit] As noted by Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit, a few weeks ago the Salvation Army stepped into the social justice arena and began promoting the premise of white guilt.
According to an “internal study guide” from the charitable organization intended to “foster positive conversations and grace-filled reflection among Salvationists“, the white members and donors to the Salvation Army were requested to reflect on their inherent racism. According to the Salvation Army’s “International Social Justice Commission“, this was presumably of some charitable value.
Obviously, this request stirred up some controversy. In an era where the toxic issues around Critical Race Theory being taught in schools has been in the headlines, there is likely not a worse time for a charitable group to join the social justice cause and push CRT toward the aggregate public.
Many people were surprised by the decision of the Salvation Army to push the divisive issue of racism in what appeared to be an effort by the organization to enter the orbit of wokeism.
Quite frankly, I cannot reference a more ridiculous organizational decision than this example in recent memory. However, that said, while the original decision was nuts, the effort to clean up the mess they created for themselves is exponentially more nuts. Amid the backlash, the Salvation Army released the following statement:

[LINK]
The first thought of ‘what were they thinking‘, becomes compounded by realizing the Salvation Army is a partner with something called the “International Social Justice Commission.” I mean, seriously, what the heck is this all about?
Mistake one might be taking the intent of a historic organization away from charitable giving and into the toxic and divisive world of racial politics. Mistake number two is doubling down on the decision to engage with race in some ill-fated effort to establish politically correct bona fides.
If you wanted to completely destroy the guiding mission of a charity, the Salvation Army is showing everyone exactly how to do it.
I’m not sure what qualifications or prisms others use, but myself, as a donor, I want to see my money used by a charity in such a way as to care for people who are in the most need – and that has absolutely nothing to do with race or any other qualification. I am literally stunned by the intent of the Salvation Army in this mess, and their cleanup effort is even worse.
This is one of the biggest disappointments of the year, and yet, again shows that organizations can lose their entire purpose by following leadership making stupid decisions.
Jim Hoft follows up the issue with a highlight showing the Salvation Army is in a crisis now, because people are not giving to the charity at the time of year when the Christmas Season Salvation Army kettles usually raise a lot of money.
(Fox-13) […] Not only is the nonprofit organization short on donations, they also are in desperate need of bell ringers to staff the red kettles seen at businesses around the country. (read more)
Well, DUH! What exactly did The Salvation Army expect to happen?

It is always reassuring to have progressives, the MSM, and every other WOKE entity telling me I am a racist. And now the SA. Good Grief! Did everyone miss that content of character speech by MLK?
Leftists have penetrated everywhere. It is insidious.
Their message is emotionally appealing, in so many ways. Good intentions are paramount. Say the right thing and you’re covered. Let the government take the actual actions. Obama wanted to disallow the tax deductions to all private charities. Charity is the rightful place of the State.
Leftists adore themselves, and are contemptuous of all others. Again, see Obama. Somebody here is a racist and it’s not me. Therefore, it’s you. Impeccable logic, to a leftist.
The current Pope should be sufficient evidence that leftists can get into any job, any office.
President Trump had a huge blind spot that the military men in uniform, of the highest ranks, all around him, were leftists. And Trump was equally obtuse about the leftist motivations of the people running the FBI, the DOJ and the CIA. This is not new; Richard Nixon warned that conservatives go into business, liberals into government. If anything, we now have far more liberal/leftists in private business. The domination of government by leftists is now almost total (somebody tell Hannity).
I remember President Trump stating emphatically that he would rather make his own charitable donations than give one more penny in taxes to a corrupted DC. He was exactly right.
It’s the same with the public schools. God forbid we receive school vouchers to shop our tax dollars to the schools of our own choosing!
It is really weird how only white people are racist. Everyone else can bag on white people and get a pass.
I will give my pass when I pass the bell ringer while leaving a verbal message they can take back to the office.
And to top it off, after telling white folk to apologize for how God made them they try and remind us that their mission is modeled based on Christ.
A sincere apology might have worked better. Better places to donate locally.
All of these newly woke org and corps are saving me a ton of money, hardly no donations this years to the usual suspects. All new places now.
When the bell ringer rings at me, I’m going to tell him that I’m sure the SA does not wish to align itself with racists such as myself.
God’s Word clearly tells us we are not to judge others because we do not/can not know the hearts of others. Yet the SA clearly saw fit to judge millions of others with no knowledge of their hearts. That is NOT a Christian attribute.
Maybe they should spend less time judging others and more time studying God’s Word.
The solicitation from the Salvation Army which was in my Christmas donations folder found its way to the trash can right after I heard of this. Their donation is going to another charity – St. Judes Children’s Hospital, which was already getting money anyway. Now they’re getting more.
I read St Jude’s uses near 40% of donations for marketing to raise more money. Long story short, the article I read says do your research, but on average support your local children’s hospital as they utilize higher percent of dollars for the cause of helping the children vs St Jude’s.
Daders, It costs $2.4 million per day to operate St. Jude’s Hospital. I’ve known several children who have been treated there when local children’s hospitals couldn’t or wouldn’t do what St. Jude’s has done. In addition to that, McDonald’s and Target are big supporters of St. Jude’s. The Ronald McDonald house provides free short term lodging for families who have a children being treated at St. Jude’s, and Target Corporation’s Grizzly House provides free long term lodging for families with children undergoing long term treatments at St. Jude’s. There are many actors and singers who also donate their time to make commercials for St. Jude’s without being compensated. There’s a lot more going on at St. Jude’s than you are aware of, so please learn the facts before you condemn a great hospital.
St. Jude’s is an awe inspiring thing. I’d give everything I have if I could.
Agree.
I have a niece who spent a year there when she was 8. Now she has four children of her own. St. Jude was her only hope, and they treated her even though her insurance would not pay for the care. Their “out” was to call the care experimental. It had been the standard of treatment for leukemia for years, but by not approving it as mainstream, they could continue to deny these kids care.
My husband and I visited several times that year. You really dread going, fearing for your family, thinking you will see horrible things. But from the time we walked across the parking lot, we both felt like we were walking on hallowed ground. You can feel that angels live with those children and doctors. It was an awe inspiring place, a place of hope, and life, even though they lost some children.
I am leaving the ludicrous and hateful comment above as an example of what we see here every day when people go too far in their self righteousness without engaging thought processes.
From an early age, (when he was still alive and after with his daughter, Marlo), I remember Danny Thomas doing the ads requesting donations. And even in my young years, I remember thinking what a great man he was. God bless him and his legacy for those in desperate need with their beloved gifts from God.
I’m sad that we couldn’t comment on your great Advent essays. It was our loss. Thanks again for all you do. Merry Christmas!
I’m going to try to allow comments this last Sunday of Advent. The first week was somewhat a free for all. I do not understand why people think they have to personally approve of every post. It seems to me we have so many posts here that people can choose to comment on what they want to. But people who don’t follow liturgical calendar worship or see it as too Catholic can’t seem to just ignore it.
I hoped the posts would be a way to slow down and really think and pray about the meaning of Christmas, not have more fights.
Or aren’t Christian. Or are just control freaks.
It’s the “wouldn’t” that makes me so angry.
If it wasn’t for McDonalds pushing crap low grade food on children there wouldn’t be as much need for children’s hospitals. I see Jamie Oliver just won his court case against McDonalds proving their food is not fit for human consumption.
I give to St Jude’s because I used to travel to Memphis frequently for business, and I would always be in the airport with the children being treated there and their families. It’s something I’ve never forgotten, and it made me count my blessings.
I remember seeing this Tom-foolery a little while ago…and thus…it was very easy to walk right past the bell-ringing-red-kettle outside the grocery store last weekend.
Any Christian who gives to a stranger before taking care of his own is missing the forest for the trees. The Salvation Army wouldn’t have a job to do if we were all charitable in our own communities.
100%. A lot of people these days think that it’s only selflessness if you help total strangers. They wouldn’t even think of helping the neighbor with the retarded child pick up their other kid at the Y so the neighbor could stay longer at the first child’s therapy session.
Some years back I recall reading a comparison of how the Red Cross and the SA handled national disaster relief. The RC was heavy on administrative costs and the donor dollar was much reduced before transfer to a disaster area. The SA put almost the entire dollar towards relief with no frills. Several years passed and I started reading about changes at the SA. They were bringing in “consultants” to restructure operations etc. etc. Suddenly, administrative costs were eating up more and more of the donor dollar . I started looking for other charities. Then they go full blown woke….adopting racialism…so long Salvation Army !
Hummmm….just like the refugee resettlement NGO’s. Hardly any of our taxpayer $$ goes to the refugees, one of the millions of gov boondoggle wealth redistribution scams.
A friend of mine years ago got a job collecting for a charity. Her payment was 50% of whatever she collected. Her team manager took 50% of what was left as his payment. I bet by the time it made its way up the line it would be lucky to be 10 cents in the dollar ending up for distribution to the needy.
I think they bit the hand that fed them.
The bit the hand and slapped the face.
Blue Wildflower: I think they bit the dust.
AS I said before, dumbest move since they rolled out the “New” coke….
I’m not sure the Salvation Army, however, will recover 100%
I know they lost me.
The new Coke ploy was to introduce high fructose corn syrup instead of cane sugar.
When they went back to the original, they changed the formula.
Temporary PR disaster traded for decades of increased profits at the expense of the consumer
Ain’t that the truth. Even when they supposedly went back to the “original” formula, it never tasted the same.
I was reminiscing with a colleague today about “old” Coke sold in glass bottles. I would pay $20 for a bottle of that now as an occasional treat.
Mexican Coke at your local Supermercado.
I will never drop money in a red pot again, and I won’t lose a minutes sleep over it. I see no logic in paying people who obviously hate me.
(Same reason I won’t donate to “republicans” anymore by the way.)
Stopped giving to them years ago when I ran across information about how they support (supported?) child murder.
My father used to preach for the SA in the 1940s. Back then it was a hard core Protestant organization that believed in accepting Christ as THE priority. Feeding the poor was secondary. Once they outgrew their original mission and became major retailers things went sideways.
The director of the huge Palos Verdes CA center was a very left wing man who was a major figure in Los Angeles public school politics in the 70s, and was instrumental in getting forced busing in the county.
Race politics has been under the surface for years with the SA. They finally outed themselves.
Woke credo: If it ain’t broke, fix it until it is.
Indeed. Build Back Better, means wrecking it frist! 😁🙄
It’s heartbreaking. I just got a donation letter. I stared at it, sighed deeply, tore it in half and tossed it. I feel especially bad for the bell ringers. I NEVER walked past one in my life. Now I dread seeing one. Terrible decision.
Goodwill as well it seems.
But why did this happen? Were they overtaken by radical leftists? Maybe. Were they pressured to do this as a condition of not suffering the pressure of an in-depth review and audit process in order to maintain their tax status? It feels VERY likely.
Think of the disappointment we all had when Chic-fil-a started supporting the BLM. Why would they do such a thing? How about the threat of BLM attacks on their stores and employees?
I hold that NO business wants to get involved in any politics at all and that it is the politics that attack with threat these businesses.
I cannot deny the deep and obvious evil of Twitter and Facebook. That is a special breed of evil which was ALSO constructed with the help of the deep state. When you see how they bought or managed to otherwise shut down all other competition in their respective arenas and how regulators helped it to happen?
Yes, as I mentioned in my recent post. CFA is fast-tracking themselves into woke territory. The heirs are feasting on the enormous company Dad built, and being seen as gay-hating is anathema to them. They are now overcompensating.
Most, if not all original unit operators were Christian and supported the sundays off policy. Now the corp hires operators based on their college credentials. Since they can pick and choose from 100,000s of applicants at any time they grab the MBAs and Doctorates. It’s an automatic six-figure income with huge bonuses.
Fabian socialism is to blame. Their original coat of arms was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Nov 23, 2021Timothy O’Malley, a ten-year employee of Goodwill, told the Federalist he was fired after speaking out against their implicit bias training. Implicit bias training is a key component of critical race theory (CRT), the woke agenda that has sparked a culture war and pushed Virginia Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin to victory earlier this month. O’Malley said these trainings took place in …
Maybe they were trying to get Chick Fil As donations back.
The ceo of chick fil a sits on the board of the sally.
Well….we are all aware now…or should be…of what the Obama/Farrakhan Globalist sycophants were doing while Trump was in office…the walls of liberty and freedom are closing in at a high rate of speed….too fast for this all to all be occurring organically…
I still say that Obamas birthday party was a Summit under the guise of a party.
Next thing you know they will be referring to each other as Comrade in our Halls of Congress…..we are already at the ‘Atlas Shrugged’ stage…perhaps we will literally be living as in ‘The Idiot’ in the not too far future.
Short of bell ringers?
Surely they meant to say short of those racist white bell ringers.
Not the swarm of new black volunteers who rushed in to fill the gap.
the SA bell ringers are not volunteers they are paid employees of the SA
Not all true……
I’m a Lions Club member. We have been (as well as many other Organizations) “bell ringing volunteers” for scores of years in thousands of store fronts around the Country. Not this year.
to fill in the gaps of volunteers, they do have SA people to ring.
If they’re involuntary, the SA has even bigger problems (See Amendment XIII, U.S. Const.)
Many of those racist white bell ringers were also veterans, usually Vietnam Veterans. I often bought them a coffee, lunch, or just stopped to chat and listen to a story or two – they had the most wonderful stories.
Haven’t seen a one this year.
“Give some more of your money you racist bastards!” Isn’t going to work….
I absolutly stopped donating to them when this news came out. And will not donate to them again. ever.
I made copies of a description of what the salvation Army was doing that was printed in our local newspaper and I hand them out to the bell ringers. I have noted that some of them are no longer out ringing their bells. I gave money to them every year but I will not give them a penny this year. I guess it’s only to be expected that such should occur when one looks at the fact that the pope is a communist who has openly called for all countries to surrender their sovereignty in order to form a one world government. The Marxists have infiltrated just about everywhere. They are now under fill control of the US Government.
Only helping individuals direct beyond the individual missionaries we support and local church. All the bigger organizations are suspect now.
I trust Jesus, my wife and my mom….keep an eye on the later two just in case!
I used to volunteer with the Red Cross in fire response. I noticed that the SA was always there before we got there providing water and snacks for the first responders. The Army were he nicest people.
Impressed, I had donated to them yearly from then on plus hit every kettle I saw. Its so sad how things have changed. This year will be different.
Not that I stand and watch the Salvation Army kettles, but in general, on the way out of stores in years past, I’d see people here & there dropping in their change after shopping or holding out a dollar to put in the kettle, which is what I would do (not any more!).
Anyway, anecdotally, this year, even walking slowly to have more time to observe, I have not seen one single donation going in a kettle. Someone I know in another state said that in her area, places where there were typically kettles in past years, are empty this year. I think many bell ringers who were donating their time feel the same way as those who are no longer donating money.
I feel very sorry for the needy that the Salvation Army might have helped if they’d kept their focus on their mission, instead of joining the mindless herd galloping full speed off the cliff of the latest social justice schemes. You’d think people would “learn” from others mistakes (“go woke go broke” has been around for a while & proved true) but the Left seems determined to double down on stupid.
“This is one of the biggest disappointments of the year, and yet again shows that organizations can lose their entire purpose by following leadership making stupid decisions.”
Color me “not surprised.” Most people can’t stand up against the Establishment–the price to pay personally is too high or too difficult to bear. Why expect anything different because the people in this case represent a charity–and not just any charity, but one of the major “systemically important” charities. Let’s just say they can’t maintain that position if they don’t play ball with TPTB.
There are so many opportunities these days to begin parallel organizations which mimic the existing ones minus the social justice hocus pocus. It’s going to become exciting in the months ahead.
I don’t see them recovering from their stupidity. Too bad. They were always my “go to” in support of helping in times of disaster. No longer.
I actually stopped and spoke with a few of the SA bell ringers, and asked them their opinion about the position of the SAI Social Justice Committee. These were local, good people that appeared to want to help others. IMHO, they did not support the official position, and appeared to be upset with it. That’s too bad, because I used to support the SA year long, and now another charity will receive those contributions. I don’t believe that there is anything that will change my mind now.
I can only hope Chick fil A is paying close attention. Our family has operated several units since the 80s and we’ve watched them drift closer and closer to the same dangerous cliff.
The Christian founder passed on a few years back and the heirs decided it was time to bring in a university-corrupted communications director. He immediately went to work on “updating” the corporate image from a stuffy, supposedly gay-hating small chain to the now-massive corporation it had become before his tenure. They are bending over backwards to welcome lgbt into the stores and as employees. Nothing wrong with that of course but Mr Cathy’s company will soon be unrecognizable. Once they open on Sundays you’ll know they’ve flipped.
If anyone would like to send a comment to the Salvationists who make up the “International Social Justice Commission”, below is a link for their email address.
I sent them a message this year instead of making a cash donation- you can too!
[email protected]
I continue to walk right by them. Nothing. I’m dead to them.
In my town, those bell ringer post are reserved for people needing to work of their community service, law abiding citizens aren’t allowed.
Hmmm, what could go wrong?
Corporate leadership in America, is a thing of the past! Lead by consensus.
I walked right by an SA bell-ringer and totally ignored him. I used to put a few bucks in but as a “white racist,” trying to get over his “White Racism,” I keep on walking.
It is stunning how the this socialist justice cancer of hate has metastasized and consumed yet another revered organization. Lessons never seem to be learned
When Chik-Fil-A abandoned giving to the Salvation Army, and Paul Anderson Youth Home, because of their perceived LGBTQ intransigence, followed by their CEO Dan Cathy pathetically kneeling to shine the shoes of Christian musician, Lecrae Moore (black), on television, to atone for his ‘white privilege’, I instantly stopped my once a week lunch at their stores.
Corrupt charitable, Christian, and church organizations that support the poor and needy and they will increasingly turn to…..government for sustenance… just as these race mongers have planned all along.
Dan’s father Truett Cathy would be aghast at what this clown son has become. It doesn’t take long to disappear a good reputation. We nervously joke about how long it will be until they start Drag Queen Story Hour in the units.
I remember 7 or 8 years ago Target stopped allowing the Salvation Army to put their kettles outside their stores, I have not been in a Target since. Now The Salvation Army has went down the rabbit hole. There is a lot of good Christian based charities. I would not trust the Salvation Army to get my donations to where it is needed.
I was shock to see a kettle with no ringer, or seemingly with no one guarding the kettle. Of course I immediately knew why. My conservative town is not interested in wokeness.
Believe it or not…when I put the following into 3 different web browsers – “https://www1.salvationarmy.org/socialjustice”____the browser either times out or comes back to “Unable to Connect”…
Imagine that —–>>>Go Woke, Go Broke!!!!

International Social Justice Commission – Welcome to the ISJChttps://external-content.duckduckgo.com/ip3/www.salvationarmy.org.icohttps://www.salvationarmy.org › isjc
The International Social Justice Commission is The Salvation Army’s strategic voice to advocate for human dignity and social justice with the world’s poor and oppressed. We are part of The Salvation Army’s International Headquarters and our office is based in New York City.
There is only ONE possible solution to this quagmire. Whoever is in charge of this once great Christian organization needs to step forward and say. “We are sorry. We made a very bad decision and it wounded and offended the very people whose Christian goodness empowers all we do. We sincerely apologize to any and all whom we may have offended with our ill-conceived policy. We are not only discarding any reference to our race-based policy but we totally reject it moving forward. Again, we are sorry for any we may have offended and we hope to earn your trust once again so that, together, we may do the Lord’s work and serve the neediest amongst us.” We have all made mistakes in our lives and forgiveness is an integral part of our faith. However, anymore of this slimy attempt at justification with a bunch of weasel words and they are on their own!
There are many people which we can find on our own who are in need and thats what we do.Most of the charitable organizations are top heavy in management positions,so money that need to get out to the people does not.Salvation Army needs to repent for their bowing before this woke foolishness and get back to what they were.We pray and ask the Lord to show us who to give to and He does if we listen.John 10:27
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
I have a neighbor who’s struggling and have given her both household goods she needed and food but really, I had too many lamps and she needed lamps and a few other things I had in excess. At the start of the pandemic I found I had a chronic disease and needed to change my diet so sorted out my food and asked if she could help me out; later I learned that her ex was laid off so she wasn’t getting child support and the food I gave her was a bigger help than I realized but it helped me a ton to evict the things I wasn’t supposed to eat.
The building I live in is owned by a non-profit and has market rate, low-income and section 8 apartments and has a food shelf; it’s literally a shelf that people can leave food on. With all the programs to feed kids there are often a bunch of snacks which I assume are the ones the kid won’t eat. But there’s often rice or pasta and gallons of milk. Today there was a bag of flour tortillas and a bag of carrots. Sometimes people put food out when they move, other times it seems to be more structured, like donations were made somewhere and they couldn’t use them.
I’ve heard stories of the Salvation Army doing scummy things all the way back to WWI….so I’m neither surprised by this or really feeling all that bad for the blowback they’re getting. Someone less stupid will fill the void.
Are you confusing them with the Red Cross?
This is what filters down from the various globalist organizations (WEF, UN, CFR, Trilaterial Commission, etc.), into non-profit organizations, and into local communities. Mind rot.
It has been said that the quickest way to be tuned out, ignored and written off as a fool is to tell a person something about themselves that they know is not true. Something not only false, but ridiculous as well. Oh, and do it with conviction for emphasis and good measure.
Observation: I have seen many unmanned red kettle locations in the past several days. Seems the bell ringers have gone home.
Stop donations to the Red Cross and the Salvation Army and any U.N. Foundation or charity.
Stop any donations to would wildlife foundation or and global initiative because it has never been used for what it was intended by the global crooks
This makes me very sad.. I stopped with the mail in donations when the SA decide
to no longer hold its annual fundraiser at Mar a lago after the whole Charlottesville
epsiode..they had held it there for years.. but I alway put money in the kettle till
this year..they had to make a statement saying why they wouldn;t hold it there anymore. so I called them and told them to take me off the list and why..
My list of charities gets smaller and smaller.. It looks like I will be sticking
to animal shelters and veterans charities..
I was gonna give to Samaritian Purse but my sister who worked wiht the Operation Christmas Child at her church said tha t they put a religious flyer in the box they send she asked to see and read the flyer and they wouldn;t let her..so now she wonders why?
So do I .. what on the flyer you don;t want people to read??
Suggestion: instead of deputizing some organization to find something to do with excess funds, find a hurting family or friend and hand them $x00. I’ve been on both ends of that scenario and there is no feeling like making a difference in person. That way you know 100% went to the cause.
I have now walked past several SA kettles with bell ringers. First year I’ve never donated but it won’t be my last. I will NEVER donate again to the Salvation Army. Go Woke, Go Broke!
Let’s Go, Brandon!
I very much dislike and abhor what the Salvation Army has done, and I feel donating in the circumstances is a mistake, as the organization needs to realize what we think, but I do feel kind of sorry for the poor bell ringers who give of their time and often stand out in the cold and inclement weather, and who just want to do a good deed and help the less fortunate. People are taking it out on the bell ringers, who really have nothing to do with this very bad decision.
I don’t blame the bell ringers, but now they need to find something better to do with their time than to solicit funds for SA. That ship has sailed.
This reflects the vision of an Ivy League trained leadership. Everywhere they go they retail poison and hatred packaged as benevolent instruction. Only the current crop of elites can make statements like this without realizing how narcissistic and hostile such statements truly are. They are not admonitions to good conduct, they are egotistical masturbation of a most embarrassing type. Like the idiotic signs that sprang up a few years back, these proponents of allegedly wise nostrums appear not to comprehend that to assert that others need to reconsider their bigotry is slanderous and offensive. By what means, other than their absurd schools, do they deign to suppose they are morally superior? Why is it they fail to recognize that people of good will giving to charity should not assumed to be subhuman, immoral, or spiteful?
Criticism of them makes them feel even more superior.
I carry with me little slips of paper about 2 & 1/2 inches tall and 3 & 1/2 inches wide. They say:
Redeemable for
ONE WHITE APOLOGY
In lieu of Cash Donation
Doing The Most Dumb
This is how I got them:
Lonestar: “Printer Ready so They can be Dropped into a Red K…” – QuodVerum Forum
I’ve had the opportunity to drop one into a Red Kettle so far. It didn’t feel that good since I had always been so grateful for the opportunity to donate through them. But my profound disappointment won out and I had to have my say. I will drop more off as the season progresses.
When they go woke, I stop supporting them. Goodbye Salvation Army. There are always organizations waiting in the wings wanting to do good things. I don’t have to stop helping, just have to be more selective. May the Salvation Army go gently into that good night so that others who truly wish to help mankind can replace them.
My family has been to them a couple of times with pleas for help. They were less than helpful. We didn’t fit into their neat little boxes so we fell through the cracks. That’s when I stopped putting money into the red kettles.
Salvation Army leadership is not admitting fault, not backing down on backing wokeism. This isn’t a surprise to me. Everywhere you see the same response when customers/audiences etc. tell the woke leadership they’ve gone too far. These wokesters are incapable of self-reflection, incapable of listening, incapable of admitting they’re wrong. I wonder if a person incapable of these things is mentally ill?
Indeed, it is these people that are committed to destroying America and its institutions, consciously or unconsciously.
They are capable of recognizing a sizable reduction in contributions hopefully.
