The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has released the September jobs report [DATA HERE] showing a dismal 194,000 jobs added against a financial media and Wall Street expectation of 500,000 jobs. [CNBC Apoplectic] The labor participation rate in the worker economy overall has not moved since Biden’s inauguration, and stands at 61.6%.
Digging into the numbers, what is happening is exactly what we ¹should expect. Outside the immediacy of private sector durable goods retailers seeing a pull back in consumer purchasing due to inflation (which we continue to point out is the critical issue); the local economies impacted by a declining tax base are key early indicators of contracting economic activity. Wage gains are not keeping up with inflation.
Inside the data, you will note [Table B-1] a significant decline in Local Government Education of -144,000 jobs. Obviously the collapse of in-school teaching leads to less jobs in this sector overall. However, the drop happened at the exact same time students were returning to a new school year, and this drop is also reflected year-over-year. Schools were impacted by COVID in Sept 2020 more than schools are impacted by COVID in Sept 2021, yet this year the jobs are completely gone. Something bigger is happening in this sector.
Additionally, healthcare services show a major drop in employment (-37k) specifically as it relates to elderly care and nursing homes. All the sub-sectors of elder care are significantly lower in employment.
Retail was essentially flat (+56k) considering the scale of the sector; and durable goods within the retail sector show declines in employment. Again this would indicate less consumer spending on durable goods, as food and energy inflation are prioritizing spending habits. Leisure and Hospitality (+74k) with hotels and restaurants doing the majority of the hiring as the rebound in this sector continues.
[¹Here it is important to note a slow cascade effect that will take time and we are not near the peak of the trouble yet. As a historic reminder, the epicenter of the peak financial crisis (housing) was triggered in Nov/December 2005. However, the trouble was not visible on a national scale until 2007. Economic data shows the current triggering event took place in May/June of this year. Make of that what you will]
(CNBC) […] The U.S. economy created jobs at a much slower-than-expected pace in September, a pessimistic sign about the state of the economy though the total was held back substantially by a sharp drop in government employment.
Nonfarm payrolls rose by just 194,000 in the month, compared with the Dow Jones estimate of 500,000, the Labor Department reported Friday. The unemployment rate fell to 4.8%, better than the expectation for 5.1% and the lowest since February 2020.
[…] “This is quite a deflating report,” said Nick Bunker, economic research director at job placement site Indeed. “This year has been one of false dawns for the labor market. Demand for workers is strong and millions of people want to return to work, but employment growth has yet to find its footing.” (read more)
[INFLATION] is terrible for wage earners in the U.S. who are now seeing no wage growth and higher prices. Real wages are decreasing by the fastest rate in decades. We are now in a downward spiral where your paycheck buys less. As a result, consumer middle-class spending contracts. Eventually, this means housing prices drop because people cannot afford higher mortgage payments.
Gasoline costs more (+50%), food costs more (+10% at a minimum) and as a result, real wages drop; disposable income is lost. Ultimately this is the cause of Stagflation. A stagnant economy and inflation. None of this is caused by COVID-19. All of this is caused by economic policy and monetary policy sold under the guise of COVID-19.
I would very much like to see a certain subset of jobs data. Two subsets: for September this year vs. September last year.
1) New enlistment in the US Military.
2) Reenlistments in the US Military.
I haven’t been able to find this data, but maybe someone here can.
Not sure when you can get your hands on that data or should I say IF you can. I think both you and I know where this is going. I thought there wasn’t anyway China would pull any fast ones on the world due to the incompetence of the US leadership but now I am not so certain. I assumed as the US commits Hari Kari why get in their way? But apparently China has some problems of their own. I can see them starting a war over Taiwan. I don’t want to see another brave American soldier killed overseas. I hope they come home and prepare for a fight on their own soil.
China isn’t going to start a war over Taiwan. They’re going to walk in and ask for the keys. Taiwan will hand them over.
Biden’s controllers, on the other hand, may start a war over Taiwan.
When did Austin take control of Taiwan gender majors skippy?
I would be very interested in that, as well. Then again, I also wonder how many of these illegal aliens will be joining our military to help the US government oppress us at our own expense? It’s not exactly a secret that they hate us enough to do such a thing.
2) Reenlistments in the US Military.
Retention and enlistments for the USAF are reflected by this headline and may be the same for other branches for the same reasons:
Air Force Touts Best Recruiting Numbers in Five Years as Pandemic Drags On
1 Oct 2021
https://www.military.com/daily-news/2021/10/01/air-force-touts-best-recruiting-numbers-five-years-pandemic-drags.html
The pandemic is still rattling the economy and American workers, but it hasn’t been bad for Air Force recruiting and retention, according to new figures released by the service Friday.
For the first time in five years, all three components of the Air Force – active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve – achieved both their recruiting goals and end strength, Maj. Gen. Ed Thomas, commander of the Air Force Recruiting Service, said in a release about figures for the past fiscal year ending in September.
The last part of government to go bankrupt will be the federal part and the last thing the dominant world power with a sinister military adversary like China will cut will be the military.
Unfortunately for those joining now, I don’t think they’ll make it to retirement before that occurs and 50% retirement pay at 20 years will be cut to less even before then, I’ll bet.
At least in a nuclear war, we’ll all be involved anyway.
Maybe. USAF having major problems retaining front line combat pilots.
The AF Academy was the first to go “woke”. It’s not what it once was.
thats not retention … thats new recruits … which if you aren’t retaining people will be bigger numbers … we may be at full strength but if half of that is folks with less than 1 year experience … thats not good …
And many go in to just get the education bennies.
HA HA HA HA, ROTFLMAO!! Same guys who GUESSED the jobs report??
For the 1st time in 5 years all 3 components of the Air Force achieved both their recruiting goals and end strengths.
Well that just means that they wanted to recruit 4 recruit’s but got 6 instead. And 5 of those 6 recruits were gay and applied to the end strength program!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No numbers or even percentages in that WOKE report. Catch my drift??
Strange the military is paying re enlistment bonuses for many specialities. Highly doubt your assertion is as valid as Biden’s spending 3.9 trillion won’t cost you anything.
My son is at a stateside USMC base (why give the trolls a quick lead)and he has told us that out of his Company of currently 43, 11 (including him) are refusing. He is trying for a religious exemption, but even though he is a practicing Catholic, he does not have confidence it will go through. He has told us that the ratio of holdouts among other companies is pretty consistent . Many will leave, others will not reup, and many Sargeants are headed to retirement as quickly as possible.
We try not to discuss this too much with him. It hurts my heart. He had wanted to be a Marine since he was a little guy. We are so proud of him, no matter what happens.
I was at our neighborhood NAPA today, picking up a couple new car batteries before winter. At the counter was another gentleman who had just purchased an older BMW, and planning to DIY … not knowing anything about owning older ‘Big German’ cars. Not smart.
For the less savvy who don’t know the ropes, a BMW outside warranty means Broke My Wallet. Certain older Mercedes and Porsches can be just as financially perilous to the uninitiated. While I no longer crawl under it anymore for heavier work, I still take care of my old SL myself, after many years of carefully learning the car.
As I was giving him some basic advice on how to enjoy these cars without eating up one’s retirement funds, he started bemoaning the current price of premium fuel that they devour. Not smart. Don’t buy a premium fuel car if you can’t afford the fuel.
I could absolutely tell he was not a Trump supporter. Call it a sixth sense.
High fuel prices? It took all my will power to not tell him to just shut up, because this is exactly what he voted for. So I just uttered a long “Well …..” and smiled.
And then, thankfully, my batteries were on the counter.
You’re a gentleman. I would have told him: “THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU VOTED FOR!”
I always do. You’d be surprised how many look utterly ashamed. For many, it’s probably the first time anybody has called them out on their choices.
I would have liked to see his reaction to “Well, stolen elections have consequences…”
I stopped going to NAPA at the start of the COVID nonsense when I went in the door, and the cashier yelled at me that I had to wear a mask. She was rather snotty about telling me I could wait outside, call a phone number and eventually someone would come out with my part.
They have a hard enough time figuring out what part I need when describing it in detail at their parts counter.
After several prior attempts at being told they could order common things for me that they didn’t have in stock, the mask was the final straw. I’ve never been back, and have never been unable to get a part at another store in town. Stores that do not treat me as a leper.
We have old school guys there. It serves mainly local repair shops. Not a lot of counter traffic. They will politely put on a mask if a lady enters. But otherwise they, and the customers, wear nothing … and try not to trip over the used parts on the floor.
Lol— “they, and the customers, wear nothing”
Always wondered what NAPA stood for— Naked Auto Parts Association ??? 😉
Competition to your NAMBLA chapter Lurker? Don’t worry, it isn’t the same species.
Check out rockauto.com. They have nearly any part you could ever want and the prices aren’t bad.
Life is too short to patronize businesses that treat you like a leper. My money, my choice.
One would think in this economy where every business in town is looking for people to work that those businesses would do their best to keep customers coming back. It’s kind of shocking how so many think they are the only place in town, they don’t stock much, and believe ordering something for you requiring another trip to town to pick it up is convenient.
I can order things myself and have it delivered to my house in the same amount of time and save 2 trips to town.
The problem is any kind of farm equipment where you need things on weekends, and local dealerships roll up the sidewalks at 5pm on Friday and stay closed til Monday.
Rockauto and several others have become quite handy. Unfortunate that local businesses don’t realize that.
Could that be called “NAPA NO How”?
I had an older one…when it ran, it was great, but like clockwork, every 3 months I was getting some part of the system, fixed. I finally got rid of it…went back to Ford, (my first car was a 10 year old 1964 1/2 Mustang with original tires)…
BMW, I heard that line before, too. Never again. And it got 44 mpg, not worth it. I like my Ford.
The only problem with the Fords are the $2,200 spark plug changes on some of the F-150s … or the GM truck dashboards that always split wide open at 50,000 miles. They all have their soft spots.
On a German, it helps to know that many routine service items require a special tool, that the special tool will only be good for that specific service task, and that the special tool always costs $75. Except when it costs $225. If you plan to keep the car a long time, you buy the tool. If you don’t, then you write a check.
It has gotten much worse with the newer ones, because everything is computerized and networked. On a newer BMW, you can’t even change the battery without recalibrating a computer.
And don’t get me started on indexed spark plugs in a DI engine. Unless it’s a genuine part, and they are installed dry with a torque wrench, precisely, you run the risk of a melted piston. I kid you not.
I went into NAPA to get wipers in early 2016, and it was all Latino guys, prob Dims, at the counter. I had my big Trump button on, and they all looked at each other, then me, and said together, “We love Troomp” (that’s the way they say ‘u’ in Spanish), and I just laughed.
I bet they’re unhappy, and maybe laid off, with BiteMe.
I keep having flashbacks of the Housing Market Retrograde of ’08. Good times.
Remember that year very well, too: Obama decided that “I didn’t earn that” as his horse crap policies ate up my retirement. There was no place you could earn money then. Would’ve been better off burying it in a Folgers can.
Still can’t, cause the markets are all rigged. The only thing that saved me was that I had most of my 401K in a “Stable Value Fund”, making me a paltry 5%…but safe.
As the economy goes into a free fall, I have to ask, when will “big business” stand up to this administration? When will the teachers union, who is losing thousands upon thousands of students=teachers figure out they had a really dumb idea to force vaccinations? When will the airlines (maybe United wants to be THE only airline left??)? When will the healthcare industry who is stupidly firing the heroes of yesteryear wake up to massive staffing shortages that translates into loss of revenue? What happens with the big insurance industry when folks just say LET’S GO BRANDON to them? No one is going to pay for insanely expensive healthcare (thanks Obama) when they get nothing in return.
This is a controlled demolition of the entire country and the evil globalists are licking their lips and rubbing their hands together, their eyes glowing with lust and power… kinda like Satan.
No worries, the parallel societies are blossoming all over the country. And in the end, God wins.
Big Business is the Hybrid Communist-Oligarchy called the U.S. Federal Government. They’re grifting off our tax dollars.
“Big Business” will not stand up to anyone…. They are part of the problem.
Wall Street Multinationals -vs- Main Street small businesses is still an ongoing issue.
This is something most of us missed including myself. Big Biz has been infiltrated over the years no different than the other Institutions like academia, media, National LE agencies, Military Brass, etc, etc, etc. The left has never been able to win in the arena of ideas so they simply enforce their will. 20 years ago you would never see the Execs at Walmart fold so easily. Now they all know better than to buck the Communists. I understand the difference between the two. Those multinationals have been running the plays. America has become a bastard child between hard core Marxists and Multinational Corps. And of course the 4th branch coordinates it all.
There is a constantly moving conveyor belt between leftist universities and America’s boardrooms. Until academia is reformed, expect it to only get worse.
“Big Business” is an interesting term. There are businesses that are large who engage in buying/selling/serving for payment, then there are government sponsored/protected monopolies whose prime focus is socialization. They don’t have to worry much about the bottom line because their partners in government keep their competition suppressed or out of the market all together. Both are called “big Business” but they are different animals altogether.
The actual businesses will fight against these mandates eventually if they havent already because of the financial blows they will sustain because that interferes with their purpose, to provide weath and satisfaction to its owners and customers. The gov sponsored monopolies will not, they will vocally and actively support the looniest most damaging policies because that is their purpose.
I actually have great health insurance subsidized by my company. But since I don’t think I would set foot in the hospital I will save myself some money by selecting the high deduction plan next month for 2022 providing that I don’t get fired for not vaccinated by the company. So far the company haven’t said a word about vaccine mandated. They did have a survey on who already got vaccine, who plans to get vaccine and who will never get vaccine. You are mandated to take survey and must include your name in the survey so they will know who they must do without if SHTF. They are also floating the idea of pay bonus up to $5k to take vaccine. But I don’t hear any announcement so it might not be viable. It will be a challenging next few months. I am ready to call in retirement if vaccine mandated is announced.
Hopefully, the survey showed that very key employees were standing along side so many others that they wouldn’t dare. But, I’m hearing this story all over and from family members. My prayers are with you. We are living in terrible times.
Wait until their vaxxed employees start dropping dead, and their families sue the company for damages because of a mandate.
Can’t sue because the government prohibited vax related suits. My guess is the best bet would be to elect officials who will prosecute all who will involved in violating the Nuremburg medical protocols. I’d call for huge fines and the death penalty, thats what the war criminals got.
Hey Born Free, it’s part of the plan ” when will big business stand up to this administration ”? I’ll tell you when, when they allow the law suits to bankrupt big business and move them offshore. Now you have NO BUISINESS aka no jobs.
I pray you are right, parallel societies.
I’ve decided to call every charity that’s a beneficiary on my retirement, and ask about their mask and vaccination policies for employees. If they’re even slightly on the mandate side, I’m cutting them off.
I have no heirs, but if I did, I’d do the same with them.
Irish Democracy
These numbers are far worse than being reported. The “agencies”, etc. report what the illigitimate Biden Crime Family & Associates tell them to report.
The media morons, then spin an absolute disaster, sure to get worse as a “success.”
Sadly, the worst is yet to come. Intentional devastation, suffering & death this epic, is satanic in nature.
2,000 years ago God gave us Jesus because he loved us.
Now He gives us Joe Biden. I don’t think he loves us anymore. Maybe He is trying to teach us a lesson.
It’s the opposite, He loves us. We have abandoned him, not many lovers of the Truth nowadays.
But there have been legions of us praying for 30+ years to save America. We have witnessed, worked on campaigns, etc.
Frankly… It wasn’t worth it. Wish I hadn’t wasted the time.
Israel demanded Samuel “make us a king to judge us like all the nations” (cf. 1 Samuel 8:5). While they included what they thought served as justifications for the demand such as Samuel‘s age as well as the errant ways of his sons (1 Samuel 8:4-5), they missed the issues with their demands, especially the main one.
”And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them. According to all the works which they have done since the day that I brought them up out of Egypt, even to this day—with which they have forsaken Me and served other gods—so they are doing to you also. Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them” (1 Samuel 8:7-9).
Even when Samuel warned them of consequences from their demand, “Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, “No, but we will have a king over us, that we also may be like all the nations, and that our king may judge us and go out before us and fight our battles” (1 Samuel 8:19-20).
After Saul was made king, Samuel again pointed out the consequences of the people saying “‘No, but a king shall reign over us,’ when the Lord your God was your king.” (cf. 1 Samuel 12:12). The people finally seemed to recognize what they had done:
“And all the people said to Samuel, “Pray for your servants to the Lord your God, that we may not die; for we have added to all our sins the evil of asking a king for ourselves”” (1 Samuel 12:19).
Even so, it was made clear that God still loved his people — while it was also made clear that there would continue to be consequences for further sin: “Then Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have done all this wickedness; yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart. And do not turn aside; for then you would go after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. For the Lord will not forsake His people, for His great name’s sake, because it has pleased the Lord to make you His people.
“Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way. Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you. But if you still do wickedly, you shall be swept away, both you and your king” (1 Samuel 12:20-25).
Amen. The wickedness that our country has committed, even involuntarily, will bring Judgement. I know our God is as Merciful as He is Just. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
I get the idea God has gone Old Testament on our sorry butts.
I think you got the giver wrong by 180 degrees.
Yep, and it isn’t going to improve either. I am contracted to the federal government and in addition to myself refusing to get the shot, I know of several others who have already turned in resignations rather than be forced into an unwanted medical procedure.
Just wait for Christmas when thousands of people are unemployed! Duh.
It’s a fool’s game to play Russian Roulette with your health.
Don’t resign over the vaccine mandate make them fire you
Don’t resign. Stay to the last possible second and make them fire you.
Isn’t it interesting how the media and the left don’t care about thousands being fired right before the holidays?
Remember government shutdowns of the past when they highlighted stories of poor, shutdown government employees going to food banks?
You mean the ones who received all of their back pay anyway? Thise government employees?
Exactly. Yet stating that did not stop the media from claiming Republicans were absolutely heartless and starving those same employees.
Christmas Lol? Who cares about Christmas when we have everyday things to worry about.
Christmas is a Privileged Holiday in these times.
Christmas is a time to wonder at being alive!!!!
I will not waste that precious time running around BigBoxChinaMart.
Christmas Gatherings will be Dangerous this year due COVID, or Climate change and you’re a Racist.
Stab us, fire us, starve us, FJB.
“Build Back Better” haha
Indeed. The 1st part was left unsaid ” Make it a smoking ruin and….build back better. “??
In JoeBama world “better” means more on government assistance!!
Imagine what would happen to the capital markets if these dismal numbers were reported under a Trump Administration? The stock markets would tank and all interest rates would rise dramatically. Americans now sense that Biden defrauded us. Americans can forgive policy errors. They are less willing to forgive blatant deceit, malicious intent, and fraud.
The decline in Biden’s approval rating was never solely about his Afghanistan debacle. Instead, it is driven by the resurgent pandemic mask and vaccine mandates, dissatisfaction with the economy, but something more fundamental is going on. I suspect that the electorate feels deceived and betrayed by Joe Biden. He ran as a centrist —the only candidate who could and would heal America.
This was always a hoax, but many people believed it. Maybe they were fooled because Biden once was a non-hardcore leftist. Perhaps they just wanted to believe his pitch because they hated Donald Trump. I know people who voted for Biden just for that reason. But now, the view of Biden as a moderate, as opposed to a captive of the Marxist left, is untenable. He wants to spend $5 trillion — a sum disfavored by moderates in his party. He has unleashed a surge of illegal immigration and shown no intention of curbing it. Ever.
He wants to impose leftist indoctrination on America’s schoolchildren. He wants people to be able to use the restroom of their choice, not of their gender, and forcefully push transgenderism.
Biden wants federal law enforcement to come down on people who attend school board meetings to oppose his woke agenda vigorously. We are at a significant inflection point: the Garland memo, I believe, is the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
The rank and file always-vote-Dem citizen may blame Biden but they won’t blame leftist ideas. They’ll think replacing him with Kamala, still being run by the same puppeteers, will change things. They’re stupid.
While we Treepers have a deeper understanding of politics today, (Thank you Sundance!), many really do vote with their wallets. And along the lines of the propaganda spewed by dems….but they are starting to feel pain and it will only get worse closer to Christmas…be it inflation, lockdowns or whatever…not every one gets an EBT.
Re “This was always a hoax, but many people believed it.”
Dead and imaginary voters don’t need to be fooled…
That’s because he actually said he would HEEL America – as in “bringing it to heel. It just sounded like “heal.”
Of course, he speaks only for his O’handler.
This is a continuation of the trend when Comrade Obama was the Official President and not one of the strings for the Sock Puppet President.
From 2009 to 2016, every government announced or leaked metric was corrected to the bad by 50-60% after the market acted as planned.
Yes , I agree it is a signal of much worse but also look at what is happening with respect to movement of investment money.
This a coordinated release of data to meant to whipsawt he market in favorable direction for the finacial puppet masters and supposedly “blind trusts” of Federal employees as we as the accounts of their close associated.
The great efficiencies of “just in time” manufacturing and the merger of multiple sources for crucial components into one or a few now come back to bite us.
Why Shortages Are Permanent: Global Supply Shortages Make Fantastic Financial Sense

Four Tsunami Waves About To Hit At Once
“The labor participation rate in the worker economy overall has not moved since Biden’s inauguration, and stands at 61.6%”
Well that hasn’t taken into account the many thousands who were just fired for DNA re-write non compliance.
Never fear, they’re bringing in plenty of cheap foreign replacements for US workers.
I see plenty of foreigners out there shopping, but I haven’t noticed any of them working behind the counter or unloading boxes. In fact, nobody’s unloading boxes. All of the stores are looking for employees—all shifts—start today!—most now have a table in front with piles of applications.
Some stores are packed with stuff, others are ridiculously empty. Waiting on trucks?
Upstate NY.
Comrade Cavuto had Clinton’s Sec of Labor on to crow about how a Dem can run an economy. Neither mentioned the Republican Congress that passed laws favorable to business.
How can you watch that moron? As soon as I hear his voice I would shut it off. I never watch Fox News or Fox Business live. Maybe a clip that is posted here and there.
Find someone you hate and give them your TV.
Sundance forgot to use the word “unexpected” before describing Biden’s economic “failures”. That’s how the MSM does it.
Of course, none of this is unexpected to those with functioning brains and it’s not a failure when they’re doing this to us on purpose.
America is under Marxist Control. This is expected. No growth, massive regulation = Failed Economy!
Does this surprise the F*Biden administration? Vax & mask mandates or be terminated. How many workers quit or were terminated for being pro-vax choice? How did the state lockdowns or limited use of restaurants/bars because of vax/mask mandates decreased business? And up the supply chain? No tourists from Europe?
Does this not limit the jobs report to go in the toilet?
Have a look at the numbers regarding Federal Government employment. Down 123,000.
Hey, where’s Doctor Jill when we need her?
Shagging the pool boy.
Sorry, that was all Government down 123000, not just Fed. Got excited for a minute.
I keep waiting for the Dow to crash and for some odd reason, it no longer follows economic news. It stays artificially high, no matter how bad the news headlines become.
Nursing home jobs may have declined because the substandard conditions in some of these places has been highlighted by the Co-Vid pandemic. We already knew this, but sometimes make-believe becomes impossible.
So people have taken their parents/loved ones home, and are keeping them there. I know some jurisdictions/states will subsidize this, to lessen the load on the health care system – a surprisingly smart idea.
It may become a class marker to care for your elderly relatives at home, as in only the middle-class resort to nursing home care. As a status symbol, it sure beats a little red sports car when the middle-age crazy hits..
And is about to go from bad to worse.
Cargo ships anchored off LA face 4-WEEK wait to berth and trains in Chicago are backed up 25 miles with global supply chain on the brink of collapse:
Americans face shortages of cars, shoes and exercise gear as holiday season looms
Dozens of cargo ships anchored off the coast of Los Angeles face shocking wait times due to the lack of manpower to unload goods
Off the coast of New York, dozens of cargo ships were seen anchored earlier in the week
The backlog of billions of dollars of clothing, electronics, vehicles, and furniture comes as the demand for consumer goods hits its highest point in history
Railyards and trucking routes are hopelessly clogged, as workers are unable the handle the ceaseless bottlenecks of cargo
‘Global infrastructure was not designed to handle goods at such a rate,’ a logistics expert exclusively tells
‘The government needs to intervene to stop this crisis immediately, or face increased inflation and unemployment, and economic breakdown,’ she asserts

Energy Crisis May Unleash Winter Blackouts Across US, Insider Warns
“We’ve actually had discussions with power utilities who are concerned that they simply will have to implement blackouts this winter,” Thrasher warned.
He said, “They don’t see where the fuel is coming from to meet demand,” adding that 23% of utilities are switching away from gas this fall/winter to burn more coal.
“That whole supply chain is stretched beyond its limits,” Thrasher said. “It’s going to be a challenging winter for us here in the United States.”

But flatbed trucks carry heavy equipment and machinery and scrap metal and construction materials. When I see trucks going to retail stores they are not flatbed trucks. Does John Cardillo know what he is talking about?
There is a major storm brewing in the supply chain. It could dramatically impact everyone’s life next year, but almost no one knows about it yet.
We are talking empty shelves, crazy inflation, etc.
Here’s what I am learning about the problem from my contacts in China
As a communist country, China is centrally planned. That means that things like electricity usage are planned in Beijing by party officials instead of governed by the supply and demand of the market.
At the beginning of the year, China set electricity quotas for each province. As a result of supply chain disruptions from COVID and unprecedented factory demand, many of the provinces have used way more electricity than planned.
Now, China doesn’t have enough coal power
The Chinese government has begun restricting electrical usage for the provinces based on how much electricity they have used so far this year. There is a green, yellow, red system that has been put in place. The map below shows the provinces and their color.
Some of our primary production is in a yellow region. These partners now have electricity caps and can work 4 days a week instead of 6. Their production has been cut by 33% and these cuts are likely to last until Chinese New Year.
This is a BIG deal.
In stainless steel drinkware, 93% of the world’s production happens in one province in China. Of that production, about half happens from now until Chinese New Year.
What that means is that almost 20% of the world’s production isn’t going to get built this year!
Products being produced in the more restricted “red” regions are going to be hit even harder. There are already stories about regions having to operate by candlelight due to the power rationing.
More here:

The issues go beyond China. Thanks to dementiacrap policies we have labor shortages and rising transportation costs which are contributing to the supply chain dilemma. This equates to higher prices and shortages. Already many stores are receiving only a % of their orders.
people don’t want to be coerced into vaccinations that are useless. people don’t want to wear face diapers to work. people don’t want lockdowns, restrictions or passports.
especially to work for minimum wage at a restaurant
I’ve heard textiles will take a hit due to China’s energy rationing + transport issues.
If you have kiddos, it’s great time to buy clothes and shoes for next year. Or you can always try to buy used later but I would imagine the demand will be higher for used clothes if we see shortages at stores.
I don’t trust our gov. Every time commies take over power it’s mass starvation, shortages, rationing, diseases, deaths, horrors.
It can happen here. See Venezuela.
It can and will if we don’t take a stand soon. I don’t know why starving out an eliminating the middle class isn’t obvious to people at this point. It’s going to rain down on us like a typhoon and by then it’ll be too late. Sound the alarm to anyone who’ll listen. The elites have a huge head start on us and they’re playing 4D chess (sound familiar) vs our checkers. We’re just reactionary to everything they do. Kind of how Trump had to be since they threw everything they could at him constantly.
GDP is flat at 1% growth.
Per capita GDP is down because of illegals.
Unemployment doesn’t include illegals.
Everything woke turns to sheet!
Just Keeps Getting Worse: Services Trade Surplus, the American Dream-Not-Come-True, Worst in 10 Years. Imports Worst Ever. Trade Deficit Worst Ever

Wait for it. When the hoohah dies down the labor dept will revise the figures down. This is what they did for Obama’s first and second terms and what they will do for the third. When Trump was president the reverse happened. The Deep State would report increasing jobs but not at the real level which were better…then a few weeks later quietly report the real numbers. Make a note.
Filling Previously held jobs that were vacated by government shut down is not “job creation”
Then: “Trump is making people take minimum wage jobs to make his employment numbers look good”
Now: “(crickets)”
None of the data should come as any kind of a surprise – the results are intentional and exactly what would be expected based upon the policies emanating from DC.
While driving today there was a “news break” on the radio station, which although a conservative station uses woke MSM for their news breaks. There was a blurb from the brain dead in the WH about how the economic news today was the greatest it’s been since the 70s, due to the new unemployment claims being so low.
Setting aside the obvious “LOOK – SHINY OBJECT” nature of the news segment ignoring the reality you’ve posted about… Of course the claims are lows – the real labor force participation rate is abysmal and a large segment of society isn’t working. Then there are the 10s of thousands fired for refusing to take the gene therapy injections, whom aren’t allowed to file for unemployment for made-up reasons (THAT is a law suit just waiting to happen. “Your honor, those who refuse to work or are fired as a result of being incapable of doing their job, the habitual drunk, and the drug users can get unemployment, but my clients – who have worked their tails off and were exemplary employees can’t?” )
If they are fudging the math by denying those fired for non-vax to get unemployment compensation, then they are lying. They fudge the rona scare tactics with false positives, falsify adverse effects by denying any that happen within 14 days after the 2nd jab, and falsify rona deaths. Their math is just a big lie on many levels, including this one.
Wait until all of Covid Firings start showing up in the labor data. You can’t just go out and replace doctors, nurses, pilots, fire fighters and police officers. When people can’t get appointments at the hospital, or fire an police response times double or triple the administration is going to really feel the heat.
At least it makes a “stable job” seem less valuable compared with being pressured to inject something into yourself that you can never take out. When you know all the options are risky, you’re more willing to switch to a new option.
only a lib could think firing thousands of employees because of the vaccine would result in more people employed. there is a dearth of qualified workers in America right now ,who in their right mind thinks firing employees won t cause a problem
The people are still buying $50k-100k for cars and trucks on an eight year loan.
It was a really great jobs report. MacDonalds employed more gender studies grads as hamburger flippers and WalMart employed more diversity majors as greeters. As for the missing 300.000 jobs, Japan will produce those engineers, medical personnel, accountants and skilled workers.
Sorry Japan has a demographic issue,
Not enough young people.
