I am ever-grateful to President Trump for the few years we had with him in the White House. It was a welcome reprieve and gave us a taste of the possibilities when a leader loves America and has no political connections that corrupt him.
But we’re in a situation right now where no one, as far as I can tell, is organizing anything en mass (such as civil disobedience, strikes, etc) and he has the greatest power to be out front leading what he claims is a “movement” and he’s not doing it.
He often says he’s “cheerleader” for the country. And I think it’s excruciatingly difficult for him when things go awry. He seems to feel the need to provide “hope” and has said as much over the course of the last couple of years.
But in my view, we don’t need a cheerleader nor do we need someone offering hope w/o any plan for action. We need a leadership and we needed it yesterday.
He largely fulfilled his calling as a figurehead prosecutor. However he was boxed in with pitifully weak advice from mealy Mark Meadows. DT had his time and chose in the end to play it safe. I can only imagine where he’d be today had he gone nuclear. Probably in the ground.
