Kentucky Senator Rand Paul caught Secretary of State Anthony Blinken off-guard when he asked him about the target of a U.S. drone attack near Kabul airport. Blinken noted the investigation about who was killed is ongoing, which begged the follow-up question from Senator Paul: “Don’t you think you should know who you are going to kill before you kill them?”
The reason the Americans were left behind was to assure the advanced weaponry left behind wasn’t destroyed.
Huh? You need to elaborate on that supposition.
IMO, those weapons were not destroyed because they had billions in value to someone on our side of the pond. They will be traded and someone in our corrupt menace of a government will pocket a lot of cash.
I dislike when people are interviewed or are discussing a serious topic and they have a great big smile on their face as they are introduced or bring a little levity into the conversation which is a waste of my time. But I must say, Rand Paul does a terrific job in talking down to Blinkin like you would talk to a child. His little laughs were of total incomprehension on the handling of any part of the withdrawal and continued incompetence as you might with a child, not to be mean and trying your best not to make the little guy cry.
