A statement made by Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley defending the teaching Critical Race Theory to West Point cadets has gained some attention. However, the comments Milley made today actually reconcile several years of CTH watching Milley operate and having puzzling questions.
Remember, General Milley did some really odd things as Joint Chiefs Chairman under President Trump:
(1) Milley never removed Lt. Col Alexander Vindman from his White House post after the underling compromised his leadership position. The pentagon left Vindman on assignment to the NSC even after Vindman attempted to take-down President Trump.
(2) Milley was then slow to react to Navy Secretary Richard Spencer threatening President Trump; attempting to extort him into inaction over the disciplinary plans against the SEAL commando, Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher. And perhaps worst of all…
(3) Joint Chief Chairman Milley, SoS Mike Pompeo traveled to Mar-a-Lago in December 2019, where they informed President Trump of military strikes in Syria and Iraq *after* they took place. [Background Here] [Background Here]. President Trump made Esper, Milley and Pompeo hold a press conference without Trump supporting them; then President Trump remained silent on the issue for days.
It seemed like CTH was alone noticing the issues with the Pentagon and suspicions of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Defense Secretary Mark Esper and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley. However, a few days after the Mar-a-Lago incident Col Douglas Macgregor expressed his own suspicions about the U.S. military attack in Iraq and Syria that paralleled our gut reaction. Macgregor stated he believed President Trump was being intentionally and “skillfully, misinformed”.
There were valid reasons for suspicion around General Milley and the entire Pentagon apparatus.
Factually, President Trump’s strategic approach toward foreign threats and foreign intervention (through the use of geopolitical economic pressure) was a major paradigm shift that removed the Defense Department from a primary role and placed them back into a more appropriate ‘contingency’ role, when it came to foreign policy and national security.
It was obvious from the outset of the Trump administration the Pentagon did not like that position.
Before explaining more, let us watch General Milley today outline his worldview on internal domestic politics. Note how Milley connects the teaching of Critical Race Theory to his view that people attempted to “assault” the DC Capitol and “overturn the constitution of the United States“. Watch this carefully because in many ways he is saying the quiet thing out loud:
.
In the big picture it was not difficult to figure out why the Pentagon would be opposed to Trump. During the Trump campaign and early administration President Trump’s expressed foreign policy was viewed by NATO alliance members as a threat. President Trump dared to tell them their “cold war mentality” was outdated. Heck, the NATO members were simultaneously purchasing energy from Russia at the same time they were demanding the U.S. military protect them from any Russian aggression.
The same type of common sense perspective that startled the NATO alliance members applied internally to the U.S. military.
President Trump’s preferred use of economic warfare made the Pentagon’s role diminished. Instead of punching North Korea’s Kim Jong-un, President Trump hit the checkbook of Chinese Chairman Xi Jinping (tariffs etc.) and then opened diplomatic discussions with the DPRK Chairman. Toward the threat from North Korea the primary military response became the contingency plan; President Trump engaged in economic leverage, not military…. and it worked.
As a consequence the value of James Mattis was replaced by the effectiveness of U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer. Joint Chief’s Milley was not in the primary planning room; Milley was replaced by Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross (until he’s needed).
In the Trump era the President was telling the Pentagon where and when to position; and then asked them for ‘contingency’ preparation. Decades of Pentagon-centric foreign policy was lessened by an entirely new geopolitical approach based on an economic strategy. This was, in essence, the Trump Doctrine.
Take away power, or worse yet, stop using military power, and the leaders within the system start to sense their institution becoming functionally obsolescent. Overlay this military fear with pre-existing ideological differences and the situation gets worse.
Unfortunately, like all other issues in the era of hyper-polarization, normally liberal democrats would be alarmed about military leadership going rogue with their own agenda. However, as long as that agenda was anti-Trump, the political-left with a totalitarian outlook are now okay with it.
In 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden was openly asking the U.S. military to initiate a coup against President Trump. The corporate media didn’t bat an eyelash… The traditional checks-and-balances, things that normally keep us stable, started getting very sketchy within the military; this has only gotten worse in the past year.
Remember,… the impeachment effort was only a “soft-coup” until the uniformed military showed up. Yet these same Pentagon leaders have the nerve now to call a protest in DC, likely manipulated by the FBI, an insurrection “intended to overturn the constitution of the United States of America.” The one thing these leftist ideologues are good at is projection.
“Tell me again how we should “back the blue”, as we watch parents arrested at school board meetings. Tell me again that most FBI agents are good & legitimate, while we watch 15 agents investigate a garage pull-down cord while ‘known wolfes’ roam free. Tell me again. Please, keep telling me…. and when the order comes down to go door to door to collect citizens’ firearms, or to arrest citizens for wrong thoughts, our local police and military will follow orders”… and I will say “tell me again”, in handcuffs.

I too am offended Mr. Milley, in fact I could feel the rage you talked about racing thru my blood upon your words hitting my ears…you certainly are not in the Army I was in, nor my father’s…
West Point is a joke now. Male Cadets marrying other men under crossed swords at Graduation, Gay Clubs and Racist CRT being taught as a requiremany — it needs to close and Milley should have been fired by Trump along with Wray etc. — Trump did some ok things, the end result though can hardly be called “good” given who was allowed to steal into power, but I read by some who worked there Trump’s need “to be liked”, especially by Media enemies, was a big reason for many of the insane/inane things/appointments.
Absolutely agree, he was bending over backwards to work with the very elements he ran against so voraciously. He talks a good game, but if he’d acted on his instincts instead of those of his advisors and swampy politicians, I would have a lot more respect for him. If he wanted a fried in DC, he should have gotten a dog.
“The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff is a political operative.”
Of course he is. Don’t we complain that President Trump didn’t have enough people in critical positions that shared our politics? If we ever re-take the Establishment won’t we put people into power who share conservative politics?
I do not understand the surprise or frustration that systemically important members of today’s liberal Establishment are fellow travelers. That’s how the system works. That’s how societies operate.
Why spend any more time being “surprised” when an Establishment big-wig does something against us? It’s like we’re not learning. Is this what President Trump thought too–surprise surprise someone turns out to be a shill for the libs?
It’s simple. We need to take back and run the Establishment and put our own people into key positions. And yes, they’ll be our “political operatives.”
Maybe we keep losing because not enough people know what we need to accomplish in order to win. Maybe people don’t like to acknowledge the seedier side of life and what it takes to wield power.
Yet the Rs before PDT didn’t know how to play this game, either, or didn’t care to. Neither Bush’s appointments redressed this imbalance after the devoted sapping of the Clinton and Obama years.
That was a feature, not a flaw. Bush’s were as much globalists as obama and clinton were.
New World Order were the words Papa Bush used….and it still chills me to the bones to hear it.
They ARE the problem….
Indeed, chilling statements from George H.
They knew how to play the game alright. They just weren’t on our side.
Bush was on the same team as Clinton and Obama. It’s why they get along so well.
This is why we voted for Trump, he was the only one running against the uniparty.
Then he stupidly tried to work with them!
In a nutshell this illustrates the problem President Trump faced as a true outsider: He came to power with no friends, and no network of government officials to help him. He should have fired General Milley (and many others) but the question is, “who to replace him with.” Furthermore, many of his advisors were not serving him at all, they were working for the resistance and actively undermining him. Urging him not to fire insubordinate employees such as General Milley, or to assert control over his own DOJ for example.
And the people who pointed this out were mocked. “Trump isn’t stupid; he knows what he is doing. He only hires the BEST and the people he has in place are EXACTLY the ones he wants!”
Remember how the resistance cleverly framed President Trump expecting they do their duty and obey the lawful orders of a duly elected president as “demanding personal loyalty” and “undermining the Constitution.” Confession through projection, accusing Trump of that which they themselves are guilty.
Thanks for your response. The only thing I’d say is that I still wonder if President Trump understood, or even now understands, precisely the nature of the force arrayed against him. I say this because I felt he wanted to govern within the system. I never really understood that as the right strategy given the way I view the nature of the opponent. Too much Trump and not enough focus on founding principles for my taste.
An excellent voice on this topic is Angelo Codevilla. He wrote a piece the other day called How to Rescue a Nation. It’s not really optimistic about our possibilities and he too questions whether Donald Trump was/is/can be the essential leader necessary to take on this task of re-founding America. It’s well worth the read.
“But la résistance was always about France, not about de Gaulle, just as the Exodus was never about Moses, but about the Israelites as God’s people. Not least of the reasons why this century’s American revolt against the ruling class only led to strengthening its grip is that it was too much about Donald Trump.”
“This is not the place to discuss what role, if any, Donald Trump might play in rescuing republican America. Suffice it to say, about him as about all others who would lead on the national level, that leadership worthy of its name consists of actually organizing successful acts of resistance and affirmation.”
https://americanmind.org/salvo/to-rescue-a-nation/
The next presumptive leader will name names. The next leader will identify the enemy and rally the people to take on the Establishment and work against the very institutions we once revered.
As a practical matter, since successful resistance is all that matters, we should begin with weekly general strikes. Simply stay home and withhold any support for the system. Up the frequency until we’re heard.
Looks like the next leader will have to have led a military coup and purge of the military and government both.
very ,very sad..after 245 yrs.. to rescue republic is temporaly for several months- gen. P I N O C H E T.. OPTION…SADLY
“gen. P I N O C H E T.. OPTION…SADLY”
Yeah, I agree. But even that is only temporarily successful. Today Chile is back within the grips of a strong and well-supported marxist insurgency and once again the people have succumbed to the siren song of leftism and social justice. The very people saved weren’t worth saving. I wonder if we’re at that point too.
So it seems to be a never-ending cycle. Makes me want to get off the wheel.
I know… I couldn’t even believe it! Well, they elected that Marxist witch Bachelet, TWICE, for God’s sake.
Lets say Trump gets reinstated late summer due to Audits
First thing is to shut down all immigration
If any judge or local leader balks at that
Arrest
Second will need to be reversing Obama’s military purge
Bring back those purged that are willing with a bump in rank
Then expose and dismantle institutions of corruption
No fix from within
Start over
Move agencies and shut down many
Bust up big tech
Then remove the leverage of all corruption via property theft from taxation
The economic swell will tsunami any political resistance
Thats part of my wish list!
Their grip on income via taxation is what GAVE THEM this power…
A starving Government is a good one….a bloated Government is tyranny…..
Eliminate the tax structure…..BURN IT ALL DOWN…it’s the only way.
I especially like the idea of moving and/or closing many federal agencies. Sen. Josh Hawley and Marsha Blackburn introduced The Hire Act (S.2672) which failed to pass. It outlined a plan to move agencies to various states. Interesting.
https://www.fedsmith.com/2019/10/23/senators-want-move-most-federal-agencies-out-dc/
Mick Mulvaney was putting together that list of overlapping, duplicate agencies… Whatever happened to that?
Reinstated?! Come on. We’re surrounded, man. The courts, the military, our own party have all forsaken us. The only way he comes back is if Xiden steps down because he cannot govern illegitimately. No democrat would ever do that, they don’t care how they grab power, and they won’t let it go for anything.
“Come on. We’re surrounded, man.”
Cue Chesty Puller: “They are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that outnumbers us 29:1. They can’t get away from us now!”
“Great. Now we can shoot at them from every direction.”
Return to ranks and hold your position, man.
And that’s what it’s going to take… Shooting from every side. No quarter.
Reality check. Purging the military and federal government would involve getting rid of 2 million federal workers. Most of them are leftists who are already well armed, trained and organized. We may have many millions of armed patriots but they are scattered and mostly disorganized. The Feds control most means of communication so organizing Patriots would be difficult. Patriots are already being purged. I provide this old link just to give you a visual of the numbers in FedGov: https://fortune.com/longform/government-employee-count-2019/
Can we get a stoppage to providing the funding for the Chinese military on the agenda somewhere?
Oh he knew, but he was like one man taking on an Army of ants. You squash one, 10 more come out from under the rug.
I agree on your perspective that this is about a movement and not just Trump. Trump said that himself at nearly every rally he ever had. He spoke of the movement that WE are involved in.
From my perspective, Trump did more to pull the curtain back on the truth of our politics than any leader before him. Trump revealed to all of us that there is no such thing as Dems vs Republicans. It’s US vs THEM.
You can see our movement today at school board meetings, local elections, and our refusal to let the steal of the century go quietly into the night.
We the People are the greatest political party our nation has ever had. We the People founded this country. We the People will take our country back.
There is a minimum of 75 million of us and likely many millions more. We care about our nation as we care about our children. We will do anything and everything to save our nation.
It will take all of us working together and it’s a movement that simply cannot be stopped. Every single one of THEM work for us. We the People rule this nation.
Very inspiring words.
And it’s going to take FUNDING AND GIVING. No populist sugar daddies on our side.
That fact alone usually makes conservatives look askance. Everybody wants someone else to pay.
It is only because of Donald Trump that we now understand the extent to which the permanent government is aligned with the Left. Trump couldn’t possibly have understood what he was facing, because no mortal human being could have understood it until it happened. The conservative intellectual class, Codevilla included, still will not give Trump the credit he deserves, and it is a disgrace to them.
“The conservative intellectual class, Codevilla included, still will not give Trump the credit he deserves, and it is a disgrace to them.”
I think I belong to that class. It’s just the way I think and who I am. I hope you are right and I am wrong.
One of the best comments here.
Good read. Thank you for posting.
This one of the first articles that I have read which specifically details the perils this country is in and why, and more importantly I think, edges closer to the uncertainty of the future of the country (as a Republic) and makes passing historical references to the ‘horrors’ of actions that necessitated “Freedom” and securing a government of We The People.
History repeats itself.
Codevilla is always excellent.
I agree, he should have cut the heads off these vipers early on. You ask who he should have replaced them with. Anyone not associated with DC. I mean if someone even remotely went to DC for anything, even a vacation, that should have excluded the person on the spot.
Sebastian Gorka recounted how the MAGA team from the campaign spent many hours over the months during the transition period between the election and inauguration day compiling lists of good MAGA candidates for various posts in the administration. Lists which promptly disappeared as soon as the professional political class took over the transition.
How utterly tragic. I saw it happening, but couldn’t understand why.
Corey, for sure, should have been offered a position. Gorka… Well, no.
But there are others.
Trump should have known his position re all of this–his failure to do so and take proper actions has resulted in the disaster we are now living. His appointments were often breathtakingly stupid. He was a mixed bag at best despite those who want to worship him for some inane reason. He let Fauci, another Dem operative, destroy his Presidency and the country
He set Fauci aside pretty quickly. And of course, that was Judas’ project.
I really think that Dim govs would do what they did…. Did any of us?
Then the riots, statues, ad nauseum.
Agreed 100%
“the problem President Trump faced as a true outsider: He came to power with no friends, and no network of government officials to help him”
You became Queen
To a regime of fixed ideas
— Graham Parker, “When I Was King”
Remember Newt Gingrich recommended President Trump fire them all at the top since Obama had corrupted them all. Who would have stepped in to fill the roles? We will never know.
“Don’t we complain that President Trump didn’t have enough people in critical positions that shared our politics?” Spot on. I said in the first year of his presidency that the thing that disappointed me is that he didn’t come to town with a list of thousands of rats that needed to be axed, and then swung the ax. Woulda coulda shoulda.
What the next Conservative president needs to do is immediately reduce the paid government positions by 40%…as well as eliminate those offices/agencies/bureaus thst have overlapping authority.
Then eliminate the federal dept od education. Education is a state m a tter. Replace it with direct block grants the “57” states/commonweaths/protectorates…thats just a start…
Agree Rich – I worked for the government for 32 years. We could get rid of at least half the people and, as long as the people that were left were Patriots, we would do just fine. Government is bloated to the max with, for the most part, lazy people just waiting for their next paycheck. We used to joke about it all the time. That’s why I say Trump would have done better to get somebody off the street, as long as they were Patriots, than the riff-raff already there.
Your comment is so central in its correctness that it can only be considered Life 101!
This nation was founded on the fundamental notion that governmental structure had to be placed on the right track, without which it would surely fail. Therefore, there should never be any shame to admitting that libs and phony conservative hacks ‘need not apply!’ Of course the Senate has a say, and in this regard, I have to hark back to my favorite saw that the power of the President to see his policies implemented by the right people is very negatively impacted by his constitutionally mandated short tenure. Longevity strengthens one’s ability to maneuver and find leverage in the political sense. It can never be ignored that wherein officeholders are long-term, their effectiveness in achieving their goals increases.
Lastly, just examine how progressives have benefited from term limits in all state, county and city jurisdictions. Also remember the push for ‘non-partisan’ mayoral races, and how radicalized mayors became as a result of that etc etc etc.
The Chairman of the JSC is NOT supposed to be a political operative. He’s not supposed to go in front of Congress and spout Democrat talking points about non-military matters. Lets not normalize what this Milley character is doing. That any future Republican should “Vett” any future military appointments is well understood. But we need to outraged by this sort of behavior, not just accept it as business as usual, because until recently it was NOT.
Just another example why Trump needs to add Sundance to his advisory team ASAP!
Perhaps he already is?
Would be a smart move agree, but given Trump’s history of whom he chooses to surround himself it would a encouraging surprise to find he evens reads here.
I could almost guarantee he reads here. Why wouldn’t he? CTH was MAGA before MAGA, and there is literally no other site that has fostered and promoted the presidency of Donald Trump, or has touted his many glorious achievements more than CTH!
If Trump read CTH, he would be serving his second term for which he was elected, and half the BS we’re discussing would be moot.
Jared would overrule this appointment.
What a snake he is.
Remember Mattis stated that he had brass supporting him when he talked about taking out Trump. Once you get to the Pentagon it’s no longer service to the nation. It’s all about climbing the ladder and kissing butt to get there. They call it the “general’s disease”. They have yes men answering their every request to get ahead. And it works. You see the results. The last great combat general, Norman Schwarzkopf, was the stark example of the difference between field commanders and Pentagon leadership when you watched the impotent Colin Powell. Night and day. We have a Pentagon full of Colin Powells.
And a bellyful of Colon Bowels.
1000 UP VOTE..
????
Remember what happened to General George Patton? Seems he was killed in an untimely auto accident???
Because he saw the need to take down the Soviet Union. That wasn’t in the American Marxist plan.
Patton Didn’t Drive Himself.
And all five copies of communications concerning Patton’s death, disappeared…
They had to kill him twice, he was so tough. I think it was Eisenhower, ever the political general. And we would not have had 45 years of Soviet oppression in Eastern Europe.
If there is no war, the defense industry makes no money. If the defense industry makes no money the top brass of the military has no where to go when they retire. It’s all about the Benjamin’s, again. Trump upset the proverbial apple cart of the swamp and that is why they hate him and us so very, very much.
Yes. This….
Hey “General”…..those who forget/ignore their OATH to the CONSTITUTION will be held to account…and once convicted can also be hung for treason…
SCUMBAG!
USMC…absolutely agree! Just look at the tortured face of this phony general whose soul is blacker than can be imagined. Horrid.
Marxists have a storied history regarding purging police and military of those seen as potentially disloyal to the Party. Now recall that purging patriots from the officer corps began during the Obama administration.
My guess is that Obama and his crew were one of Milley’s benefactors – and that this explains Milley’s stance more than just umbrage over a diminished role for the Pentagon.
In his position, Milley presumably received intelligence briefings about the planning (before the election) and execution of the election steal — coup — involving both enemies domestic and enemies foreign (most notably the CCP);
Yet he obviously was, and still is good with it all — including following orders from a fraudulent “Commander in Chief” that is compromised by the CCP.
Which begs the question: was he part of the planning and execution for the coup?
Either way – even if he has been aware of the election steal-coup and just sat on his hands – is he not still guilty of treason?
It is a simple statement. Lucifer is behind all of this.
The governing system of this world has been infiltrated by evil. It is now a system designed to destroy individuality and human free will. A collective hive mind, with only one individual principality at full liberty.
These people like Milley are the fools who have enslaved themselves under it. They are driven by fear, not love.
And they have been tasked to enslave the rest of us.
The insanity is obvious to all those who remain free of it.
AMEN BROTHER: It is a simple statement. Lucifer is behind all of this.
“The heart is deceitful above all things, desperately wicked, who can know it?”
Nothing is as corrupt as the human heart, this condition is incurable, the depth of it’s wickedness is unknown for it has no bottom.
As for the devil he has access to all of these hearts.
I would say these evil, corrupt people are following the darkest side of human nature, which lives in all of us, and is the exact reason Marxism and communism do not, and cannot, work.
So, a palace coup by the Pentagon and Intelligence Community against a duly elected sitting president is OK; but US citizens peacefully assembling to protest against an election stolen in the most brazen manner imaginable is a threat to the Constitution. Got it.
“The mind that alters, alters all.”
“but US citizens peacefully assembling to protest against an election stolen…
TPTB have a lot of practice at rewriting history. They are good at it. It begins each day with the news of the day.
Reading marx and lenin doesn’t make you a communist.
Reading the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence doesn’t make you a Patriotic American, either. Especially in your case.
Reading Marx and Lenin doesn’t make you a communist, but forcing it down the throats of the US military does. Milley is a communist scum bag.
Found in the bin… 🙁
Bet he’s never read either.
VERY WELL SAID
Milley’s comments sickens me.
What a treasonous brown nose!
So based on this, does this mean that the CCP defector story is now as dead as McAfee?
They both have disappeared so quickly, it’s like they never happened.
My guess is the CCP defector is just as dead as McAfee. Our nation is sick. Those in power kill anyone who offends them. None of them deserve our respect.
For several decades the Pentagon and their allies in the intelligence community (FBI/DOJ/NSA/et al) had us conned. But when we finally got woke, they realized we are now awake and know their deceptions and corruption.
Fearing us, they have thrown in with the most radical ideology of the American left; people who are uninformed and who will support the US Military leadership as long as they attack Red State America.
As Andrew would say “WAR”.
At least the FBI and maybe other departments in the government have had an ongoing filter by use of the MSM.
I located yet another document from 1947 from Hoover “can’t we ask the media to cooperate …in keeping stories out of the papers…”
We have seen the different leaking to WaPo/NYT confirm this cooperation over the years – but it goes far far back.
Obama has had 12 years to turn the military into a community action group. We can thank holder for the DOJ turning into the SS.
Comey and friends turned the FBI into the Gestapo. Why do you think the chinese counter security official defected only to the DIA and the information was not shared with Brenan’s CIA and NSA.
RINOs assisted in all of this, especially the military.
Started over a hundred years ago. Commie Dem Obama was the icing on the cake.
Most excellent. Thanks Sundance.
Donation to CTH made.
“I’ve read Mao Tse Tung. I’ve read Karl Marx. I’ve read Lenin. That doesn’t make me a Communist.”
No, it doesn’t. Rubber-stamping the Election Fraud Coup does.
I am more convinced than ever the country cannot survive without a serious purge in top brass who apparently are closet Marxists.
Not in closest. Totally in the open.
What we are seeing in the top brass at the Pentagon is the end result of Obama’s political purge of the officer corps. Remember, under Obama barely a week went by without news of some general being sacked, or a colonel fired. The purge went deep, far down into the ranks. what
I seem to remember reading about 400 mid level officers getting removed in one act of purging by Obama
As a 20 year USN vet and former Naval Aviator, I find CJCS Milley and former Army General Lloyd Austin — now SecDef — to be two of the most compromised, clueless, bought-and-paid-for “political officers” I’ve ever seen …
And I’ve seen a lot of “them”. Believe it.
COMRADE M*GABE ??
The man is an embarrassment to the Army.
Make sense Sundance. And now we know why Liz Cheney is so opposed to DT. She represents her Daddy’s wing of the party, military leverage first and the classic neocon. This dog appears to be dying a slow death.
Further, we know the globalist want a two class system, where they shepherd the lower class consumers around forever to do their bidding. This was another front in the battle to rid Trump. So can we conclude Trump was taken out by globalist working in concert with the US military and intelligence apparatus?
The 2020 election is becoming much clearer
The handling of the Vindman affair was the big tell; there was no reason Vindman should not have been Court Martialed and dismissed from the service with prejudice, probably incarcerated; I knew then that the Pentagon was a lost cause. Then there were the actions of Generals Mattis and Kelly. It’s all becoming more and more clear in this current Great Usurpation.
Let’s not forget McRaven, McMaster, McChrystal,… All the whores who were tested and agreed to fire on Americans if asked by their CIC. THAT was the test.
I asked a local police officer(in Trump territory) how having Joe Biden as president will affect his job. He told me: more indoctrination, more classes to try to make them more liberal. He retired now.
And THIS pisses me off…
Ordinary citizens not jealously guarding their states’ rights to regulate/control education (paid by local prop & sales taxes), police (local taxes), elections… Our three biggies.
Why the hell aren’t local people telling feds to get lost? Why are they waiting for feds to tell them when to open schools? How to run their police? Do their elections?
WE pay for these things. WE OWN THEM. WE BUY THEM.WE MAINTAIN THEM.THEY BELONG TO US.
Dumbass citizens.
There is no reason for the American taxpayers to defend Europe, none at all. The Russian military was always a paper tiger and it is now even less capable than when it was the USSR. As to Milley, he’s a zombie general.
Wealth transfer. Just a GRIFT. As SD says… Exfiltration of wealth.
I have a bit of a different interpretation of this set-piece:
“(3) Joint Chief Chairman Milley, SoS Mike Pompeo traveled to Mar-a-Lago in December 2019 . . . Macgregor stated he believed President Trump was being intentionally and “skillfully, misinformed”.”
It’s essential to not analytically separate this from the strike taking out Soleimani on January 3rd. Operation Get Rid Of Trump put another plot in motion to remove him.
As 2019 was coming to a close, Trump was on track to win reelection in a landslide Because Peace and Prosperity. In quick succession, Pelosi pulled the trigger on Impeachment yet held back transmittal to the Senate for trial. Rather obviously, they were waiting for something.
The strike on Soleimani on 1/3 neutralized the plot to seize American Embassy personnel in the Green Zone (Bagdad)(and potentially elsewhere) in a replay of the Iranian Hostage Crisis that sunk Carter’s reelection. Make no mistake, their media allies already had the chyrons counting the days of the crisis ready to go for the Fake News. (Those would be repurposed for the Covid PSYOP). The preparatory messaging was clear in the run-up to the events of 1/3. For example, Iran’s Supreme Leader publicly declared Khomeini’s “America can’t do a damn thing against us,” substituting Trump for America. Senator Murphy mirrored this in his tweets shortly thereafter.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/America_can%27t_do_a_damn_thing_against_us
Again, the primary objective was to get rid of Trump. Best case scenario via the Senate trial now fueled by a still ongoing hostage crisis in Iraq and perhaps other embassies as well.
We can see that these immediately preceding strikes in Iraq and Syria were both predicate and deflection for the main events to come. These US strikes in Iraq and Syria were to become within days the cause of the attacks on American Embassy (or likely, embassies) transmission belted to the American people 24/7 by the Fake News.
Here’s some photos of the damage done by mostly peaceful protesters who somehow were able to get in and remain in the secure Green Zone:
https://www.militarytimes.com/flashpoints/2020/01/02/photos-reveal-damage-to-us-embassy-in-baghdad-following-attack-by-supporters-of-iran-backed-militia/
With the above in mind, we have the context and state of play in motion, clear with hindsight, to return to the Mar-a-Lago news conference, telling sans POTUS Trump.
It’s a mistake in my considered view to conflate Pompeo with Esper/Milley malefactions. Early in his presidency, Trump had brilliantly pushed authority to respond (“defensively”; under the rubric of “exigent circumstances”) into the military and down to the command level. The trip to Mar-a-Lago for the news conference, rather than in DC which was standard practice in these situations in previous administrations, was the tell that Trump was to be made to own what was to come.
As for Pompeo, we have solid evidence arguing in favor of distinguishing him. He definitely didn’t play ball with the plot by publicly discussing the embassy attack, most especially its hostage-taking objective. Also, you can think the worst of him but still remember that as Secretary of State at the time of a hostage crisis running until election day his political career, much less presidential ambitions, would have been over. Rather than belabor, just also consider how Trump treated and messaged about each of these three men thereafter up until today (e.g. Trump publicly met with Pompeo, including having dinner with him and DeSantis together).
File this as merely one of the myriad known and unknown gambits to take down Trump by any means necessary that Trump brilliantly foiled.
After Soleimani was taken out along with his Iraqi militia leader, along with a whole bunch Iran-controlled operatives in Iraq and Syria, and Iran responded with the missile strikes on the USM base in Iraq, Pompeo continued to fire his warning shots to the plotters (Iran; Democrats; Milley/Esper) in the form of opening the can of worms that was the foiled main event embassy attack(s) and hostage seizure(s).
Consider the resolve. Iran had to pay the Soleimani price. (Don’t you find it curious that he (purportedly) travelled to Syria and then Iraq, making himself vulnerable in the extreme at this time); Milley and Esper bought the USM a base attack to which they had to publicly acquiesce; and the Democrats (and their RINO and Neocon filth allies) had to regroup for the Covid PSYOP/Bioweapon.
MLK, You’re comment / analysis is simply brilliant.
What I recall most vividly with regard to Soleimani being taken out was the
DemocRAT response which was, and always is: Soleimani was a bad guy, but, but, but……
And I thought, when was the last time a DemocRAT actually rooted for America ? I’m still trying to come up with an answer to that question.
Once again, thank you for your insightful comment.
Thanks. Think about the existential crisis this created for the Iranian regime. You you think Obama is protected from blame, you ain’t seen nothing compared to the Supreme Leader in Iran. I figure whomever directed that undeniable liability creating tweet from the old codger’s is likely no longer living. Maybe it was Soleimani but he was going to be Trump’s (high) price in any event.
I mention this because it’s important to keep in mind with “Biden” (an installed “Yeltsin”) negotiating with Iran over how rapidly it will receive its promised payoffs for remaining on team Get Rid Of Trump through little thick and unrelenting thin.
A bit more. . .
Remember, the Joint Chiefs, including Milley, isn’t in the chain of command. The news conference was to announce the retaliatory strikes in Iraq and Syria by the USM. Besides that past precedent would have projected it being done in DC, why was Pompeo front and center?
Now consider that Trump had messaged relentlessly that he could be reached 24/7 by anyone with a need to inform the POTUS.
Thus we can deduce under the totality of the circumstances that Trump wasn’t given even a heads up before these retaliatory strikes were carried out. Unlike his figurehead/pitchman predecessors, who no doubt had been subject to similar set-ups albeit for different reasons, Trump refused to play his role (and thus seal his fate). Unless I miss my mark, when Milley/Esper finally called him he did what I would have done — “Okay, all the Joint Chiefs and Esper better hold a news conference (in DC).” They implored doing it at Mar-a-Lago so Trump said “Sure, come down with Mike (Pompeo) and we’ll get it done.”
Thus Trump put Pompeo into the equivalent position he put (big ghey) Mike Pence by making him head of the Covid Taskforce. As I explained earlier, whatever you think of Pompeo and his motivations and intents, he was now betting it all. He (Pompeo) played it masterfully by publicly messaging throughout “If that’s the way you want it, that’s the way you’re going to get it” re the plot to seize American hostage.
Trump won at that moment that news conference was held, and everyone involved knew it. It was then just a matter of letting the cards to play out — because he indisputably before the world neutralized the gambit to make him liable for what was planned for follow.
Good assessment. Soleimani was a win for Trump and a big fail for Iran. Icing on the cake was them shooting down their own jet.
The enemy surrounds us where ever we look. God help us.
Dark days for the Republic.

re: Nov. 3, 2020 and Jan. 6, 2021
Dear Sir,
This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the Military-Industrial Complex.
The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.
Sincerely,
Dwight D. Eisenhower, CINC, USA, (ret.)
ps; Just as no servant may serve two masters, no United States military officer may serve the United States of America and the New World Order. Choose.
Or have you already?
Keep an eye on Gen. Stanley McChrytsal too. A very close eye.
Oh yes. He’s a real snake and a megalomaniac.
Marxist Military. Totally compromised like the entire Fed Government. This POS couldn’t shine General Patton’s shoes. All those badges are kindergarten honors.
This is bad stuff. And there are people here who think the military is going to save us? How wrong can you be. I cannot believe what he said about 1/6…what an ignorant arrogant person he is. He’s bragging about reading Marx! And, you know, CRT comes from Harvard so it must be brilliant!!!
I really feel the country is lost.
It’s been a long time (over a hundred years) in the making.
Know your enemy. I have read Marx, Lenin, Mao. Not at huge depth, but enough to recognize them when they come out of someones mouth. My father, a military officer with a masters in international relations, studied them, and his books surrounded me as I grew up. He (and later I) also studied Hitlerism, Fascism, French and British history, American history and the development of Japan. Doctors study diseases. That does not normally (Fauci excepted) make them partisans in favor of disease.
Oh, I understand that, I’ve read some of that stuff, too, but that’s not the point. He’s not bragging about reading the Constitution, or reading the Federalists paper, or anything about this country and it’s formation and government. And he is not reading CRT because it is good to be informed, he is reading it so he can brain wash the troops.
Exactly. He expressed his motivating belief in their assertions regarding “White Rage” and his expectation that studying Critical Race Theory was the only way to understand and deal with that. Pathetic all around.
Time for a real revolution before these idiots take total control
Not happening. The Commie Dem urban hell holes will become even more powerful. Democracy over Republic.
“The one thing these leftist ideologues are good at is projection.”
They always tell everything about themselves by projection, it’s a given.
And couldn’t fight their way out of a paper bag.
With Milley in charge, and the current purge going on in the military, it won’t be long before you have lots of little milley’s in uniform not only ready, but willing to take you the American citizen out.
My dad served in the Infantry – in combat- in Normandy (wounded, Bronze Star) and Korea. So, I make a point of studying fruit salad when I see serving members when they appear in public.
I’ve looked at several color images of Milley’s fruit salad (to account for color variation). I see the CIB (with one star), Master Parachutist wings (but no combat jump stars that I can see), a Bronze Star (with what looks like 2 leaves), but I see no Purple Heart. So, I’m wondering, how does a guy with his these ribbons and badges not get wounded at least once. Or have I missed something? (Thanks for the help.)
One would think at least his troops would have shot him.
Presume he did not ‘serve’ in Vietnam… I understand that some of that ‘happened’ to stupid officers there.
REMF….
A former Army Ranger told me that these clowns ” decorate” each other for various non- accomplishments.
Like dress-up?
Sounds fun.
So this should put to rest the q disinformation of the military putting VSG rightfully back into office
Unless those purged flag officers have. Something going on. I can’t imagine they are just sitting back doing nothing.
The US Military has lost its way.
The US Military is gonna get its ass kicked.
Term limits on ALL military officers. PERIOD.
this will never be stopped thru a vote, these people are like plantar warts. you have to dig them out and pour acid in the hole.
Cancel this hot mess in drag, he can’t sell the woke.
Ashleigh Shackelford looks better in green.
“All white people are racist(skip)racist(skip)racist…” -Mark Milli-Vanilli
That creature is utterly offensive and disgusting, as is the message. I’m not sure why people sat through that, they must really hate themselves, and they probably should.
I believe President Trump was cognizant of Milley’s deep state leanings and is why he felt he could not pull the trigger and secure the voting machines after the election without the military’s backing
The machines belong to the states, and P. Trump respects federalism.
The last institute being destroyed before our eyes. Biden is finishing the job Obama started. Meanwhile, the GOP is up in arms over someone leaking tax docs showing the elites paying hardly any taxes.
I’m thrilled to expose the truth about who pays the taxes the DC pigs keep passing. Leak it all.
This guy Milley is some kind of nutcase
The globalists control the US military. The Globalists design is for China to be their global enforcement.
Letting that sink in should not take long.
Remember when a General was upset when he was shown with Trump touring the burned out Church during the BLM Riots? Remember when the General claimed he was “above politics” and “didn’t want to be involved”? Now, we have the Chairman of the JCS spouting Left-wing talking points! And all of DC applauds – except for a few Republicans.
As for Trump being naïve. Well, Trump had a right to expect his military men to obey the Constitution and the orders of the Commander in chief. He also had a right to expect HONESTY and honest expression of disagreement followed by a willingness to obey orders if the decision went against them. If you’d told me the JCS would lie to the President, feed him false information, or deliberately disobey his orders while lying and saying they were… I never would have believed it.
But then I never thought the head of the FBI, would be a corrupt liar, a self-serving backstabbing clown, or liberal Democrat posing as a “life-long Republican”. It seems every institution has been captured by the Left overtly or covertly. Expecting them to follow the rules is no longer possible. They are our enemies.
That was Milley.
What’s astounding is how the General lies. He knows, like everyone knows, there was no Jan 6th “insurrection”. There was no “assault on the constitution”. Why hasn’t Antifa/BLM be labeled insurrectionists? The Only assault on the constitution has been the illegal detention of protesters in jail without bail for the crime of trespass or obstruction of a law enforcement officer. And the murder of Ashli Babbitt.
BTW, has the conversation between Nancy Pelosi and the JCS been released? Pelosi’s demands that the JCS not follow any orders from Trump – while he was still legally POTUS – was also an assault on the Constitution.
He lies, because he now obeys the Father of all Liars.
Soon enough, he will face God, the Light, and be called before Truth.
It’s always been a spiritual struggle. Since before Man walked this Earth.
“Color” me shocked!!! (not really).
btw, the first Jan. 6th defendant is parroting Milley, linking Jan. 6th to white supremacy and the teaching of Critical Race Theory.
Coincidence? Nope.
Collectivism is Evil.
Capitalism does not per se cure. But adherence to Morality under God does. Capitalism is merely a means of conveyance.
Saint John Paul II had it right.
If any of you skeptics out there still don’t think the top leadership in our military has not been politicized after listening to this fascist then you do not understand English and you may have graduated from a public school undeservedly.
Everyone above E6/O6 is a politician.
Miley is one of them! He is a marxist infiltrator into our own military. This lying bastard should resign from the military for not protecting our Constitution…he is a traitor.
