In the early morning of November 3, 2020, Georgia election workers in Fulton County maneuvered a long table draped in black into position on the counting floor. What we saw is why hundreds of thousands of patriots showed up at the Capitol to protest on January 6th. Election fraud can never be detached from the events of January 6th, nor should they be ignored at this mock trial.
Not only is the issue of President Trump’s response to McCarthy’s call not germaine to the Article of Impeachment, any plea for peace Trump is being condemned for not making would have been portrayed in the media and today as evidence of control over the rioters and his alleged incitement. Damned if he did and damned if he didn’t.
