I respect Dinesh D’Souza. However, on this issue I also disagree intensely.
The foundation of D’Souza’s reason for why he does not support a new political party, a MAGA or Patriot or (__fill in blank__) party, appears flawed. By saying a new party would only split the GOP, D’Souza is actually making the argument that creates Battered Conservative Syndrome; the DeceptiCon argument that protects the GOP wing. WATCH:
When the Tea Party rose to power and primaried a host of GOP politicians, it was the Republican party that attacked the conservative base and attempted to destroy the rebellion. McCain called us “hobbits” and McConnell called us “jihadists.” The threat from the Tea Party was felt amid the GOP. The GOP was *not* going to adjust.
Meanwhile Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama destroyed the center of their political party called the Blue Dog coalition, represented by Bart Stupak. The Blue Dogs were wiped out in 2010 because Democrats forced them into radical left-wing agenda items.
A new party, ie. ‘THE’ new party, would not be a carve out within the Republican club. A new party would be a coalition party of Democrats, Republicans and Independents. Need proof of the scale, look at the 2020 election for Trump. That’s the (fill__blank) party.
A new party would be a SECOND party to the UniParty occupants currently pushing more big government in Washington DC. The fact that we have decades worth of evidence (Patriot Act, Wall Street Lobbyists, K-St. etc.), and specifically the past ten years (omnibus spending bills, limitless debt ceiling, massive wasted stimulus, political bailouts, QE1/QE2, Obamacare, college tuition takeover etc.) shows that both Democrats and Republicans are two wings of the same big government bird.
The fear of “splitting the GOP” is the weaponized talking point of the GOP leadership who use that fear as a weapon to remain in power. Those who listen to that threat are suffering from battered conservative syndrome.
There is nothing conservative about expanding government, spending into oblivion, allowing open borders and simultaneously removing liberty and freedom. What exactly is being “conserved”? CTH has been making this argument for years.
This example from 2015 rings just as true today:
2015 – A few days ago I took the time to read Jonah Goldberg’s expressed concerns about the support for Donald Trump and the state of current conservative opinion.
Toward that end I have also noted additional GOP media present a similar argument, and I took the time to consider.
While we are of far lesser significance and influence, I hope you will consider this retort with the same level of consideration afforded toward your position.
The challenging aspect to your expressed opinion, and perhaps why there is a chasm between us, is you appear to stand in defense of a Washington DC conservatism that no longer exists.
I hope you will indulge these considerations and correct me where I’m wrong.
On December 23rd 2009 Harry Reid passed a version of Obamacare through forced vote at 1:30am. The Senators could not leave, and for the two weeks previous were kept in a prolonged legislative session barred returning to their home-state constituencies. It was, by all measures and reality, a vicious display of forced ideological manipulation of the upper chamber. I share this reminder only to set the stage for what was to follow.
Riddled with anxiety we watched the Machiavellian manipulations unfold, seemingly unable to stop the visible usurpation. Desperate for a tool to stop the construct we found Scott Brown and rallied to deliver $7 million in funding, and a “Kennedy Seat” victory on January 19th 2010.
Unfortunately, the trickery of Majority Leader Harry Reid would not be deterred. Upon legislative return he stripped a House Budgetary bill, and replaced it with the Democrat Senate version of Obamacare through a process of “reconciliation”. Thereby avoiding the 3/5ths vote rule (60) and instead using only a simple majority, 51 votes.
Angered, we rallied to the next election (November 2010) and handed the usurping Democrats the single largest electoral defeat in the prior 100 years. The House returned to Republican control, and one-half of the needed Senate seats reversed. Within the next two election cycles (’12 and ’14) we again removed the Democrats from control of the Senate.
Within each of those three elections we were told Repealing Obamacare would be job #1. It was not an optional part of our representative agreement to do otherwise.
From your own writing:
[…] If you want a really good sense of the damage Donald Trump is doing to conservatism, consider the fact that for the last five years no issue has united the Right more than opposition to Obamacare. Opposition to socialized medicine in general has been a core tenet of American conservatism from Day One. Yet, when Republicans were told that Donald Trump favors single-payer health care, support for single-payer health care jumped from 16 percent to 44 percent. (link)
With control of the House and Senate did Majority Leader Mitch McConnell or House Speaker John Boehner use the same level of severity expressed by Harry Reid to put a repeal bill on the desk of Obama for veto? Simply, NO.
Why not? According to you it’s the “core tenet of American conservatism”.
If for nothing but to accept and follow the will of the people. Despite the probability of an Obama veto, this was not a matter of option. While the method might have been “symbolic”, due to the almost guaranteed veto, it would have stood as a promise fulfilled.
Yet you speak of “core tenets” and question our “trust” of Donald Trump?
We are not blind to the maneuverings of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and President Tom Donohue. We are fully aware the repeal vote did not take place because the U.S. CoC demanded the retention of Obamacare.
Leader McConnell followed the legislative priority of Tom Donohue as opposed to the will of the people. This was again exemplified with the passage of TPPA, another Republican construct which insured the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal could pass the Senate with 51 votes instead of 3/5ths.
We are not blind to the reality that when McConnell chooses to change the required voting threshold he is apt to do so. Not coincidentally, the TPP trade deal is another legislative priority of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Yet you question the “trustworthiness” of Donald Trump’s conservatism?
Another bill, the Iran “agreement”, reportedly and conveniently not considered a “treaty”, again we are not blind. Nor are we blind to Republican Bob Corker’s amendment (Corker/Cardin Amendment) changing ratification to a 67-vote-threshold for denial, as opposed to a customary 67 vote threshold for passage. A profound difference.
Yet you question the “ideological conservative principle” of Donald Trump?
Perhaps your emphasis is on the wrong syllable. Perhaps you should be questioning the “ideological conservative principle” of Mitch McConnell, or Bob Corker; both of whom apparently working to deny the will of the electorate within the party they are supposed to represent. Of course, this would force you to face some uncomfortable realities. I digress.
Another example – How “conservative” is Lisa Murkowski?
A senator who can lose her Republican primary bid, yet run as a write-in candidate, and return to the Senate with full seniority and committee responsibilities?
Did Reince Preibus (then RNC Chair), or a republican member of leadership meet the returning Murkowski and demand a Pledge of Allegiance to the principles within the Republican party?
Yet you question the “allegiances” of Donald Trump?
Perhaps within your purity testing you need to forget minority leader Mitch McConnell working to re-elect Senator Thad Cochran, fundraising on his behalf in the spring/summer of 2014, even after Cochran lost the first Mississippi primary?
Perhaps you forget the NRSC spending money on racist attack ads? Perhaps you forget the GOP paying Democrats to vote in the second primary to defeat Republican Chris McDaniel. The “R” in NRSC is “Republican”.
Perhaps you forget. We do not.
Yet you question the “principle” of those who have had enough, and are willing to support candidate Donald Trump.
You describe yourself as filled with anxiety because such supporters do not pass some qualified “principle” test? Tell that to the majority of Republicans who supported Chris McDaniel and found their own party actively working against them.
Principle? You claim “character matters” as part of this consideration. Where is the “character” in the fact-based exhibitions outlined above?
Remember Virginia 2012, 2013? When the conservative principle-driven electorate changed the method of candidate selection to a convention and removed the party stranglehold on their “chosen candidates”. Remember that? We do.
What did McConnell, the RNC and the GOP do in response with Ken Cuccinelli, they actively spited him and removed funding from his campaign. To teach us a lesson? Well it worked, we learned that lesson.
Representative David Brat was part of that lesson learned and answer delivered. Donald Trump is part of that lesson learned and answer forthcoming – yet you speak of “character”.
You speak of being concerned about Donald Trump’s hinted tax proposals. Well, who cut the tax rates on lower margins by 50% thereby removing any tax liability from the bottom 20% wage earners? While simultaneously expanding the role of government dependency programs?
That would be the GOP (“Bush Tax Cuts”)
What? How dare you argue against tax cuts, you say. The “Bush Tax Cuts” removed tax liability from the bottom 20 to 40% of income earners completely. Leaving the entirety of tax burden on the upper 60% wage earners. Currently, thanks to those cuts, 49% of tax filers pay ZERO federal income tax.
But long term it’s much worse. The “Bush Tax Cuts” were, in essence, created to stop the post 9/11/01 recession – and they contained a “sunset provision” which ended ten years later specifically because the tax cuts were unsustainable.
The expiration of the lower margin tax cuts then became an argument in the election cycle of 2012. And as usual, the GOP, McConnell and Boehner were insufferably inept during this process.
The GOP (2002) removed tax liability from the lower income levels, and President Obama then (2009) lowered the income threshold for economic subsidy (welfare, food stamps, ebt, medicaid, etc) this was brutally predictable.
This lower revenue higher spending approach means – lower tax revenues and increased pressure on the top tax rates (wage earners) with the increased demand for tax spending created within the welfare programs. Republicans focus on the “spending” without ever admitting they, not the Democrats, lowered rates and set themselves up to be played with the increased need for social program spending, simultaneously.
Is this reality/outcome not ultimately a “tax the rich” program?
As a consequence what’s the difference between the Republicans and Democrats on taxes?
All of a sudden Republicans are arguing to “broaden the tax base”. Meaning, reverse the tax cuts they created on the lower income filers? This is a conservative position now? A need to “tax the poor”? Nice of the Republicans to insure the Democrats have an atomic sledgehammer to use against them.
This is a winning strategy? This is the “conservatism” you are defending because you are worried about Donald Trump’s principles, character or trustworthiness.
Here’s a list of those modern conservative “small(er) government” principles:
• Did the GOP secure the border with control of the White House and Congress? NO.
• Did the GOP balance the budget with control of the White House and Congress? NO.
• Who gave us the TSA? The GOP
• Who gave us the Patriot Act? The GOP
• Who expanded Medicare to include prescription drug coverage? The GOP
• Who created the precursor of “Common Core” in “Race To the Top”? The GOP
• Who played the race card in Mississippi to re-elect Thad Cochran? The GOP
• Who paid Democrats to vote in the Mississippi primary? The GOP
• Who refused to support Ken Cuccinnelli in Virginia? The GOP
• Who supported Charlie Crist? The GOP
• Who supported Arlen Spector? The GOP
• Who supported Bob Bennett? The GOP
• Who worked against Marco Rubio? The GOP
• Who worked against Rand Paul? The GOP
• Who worked against Ted Cruz? The GOP
• Who worked against Mike Lee? The GOP
• Who worked against Jim DeMint? The GOP
• Who worked against Ronald Reagan? The GOP
• Who said “I think we are going to crush [the Tea Party] everywhere.”? The GOP (McConnell)
• Who worked against Donald Trump? The GOP
And, you wonder why we’re frustrated, desperate for a person who can actually articulate some kind of push-back? Mitch McConnell and John Boehner are what the GOP give us?
SERIOUSLY?
Which leads to the next of your GOP talking points. Where you opine on Fox:
“Politics is a game where you don’t get everything you want”
Fair enough. But considering we of questionable judgment have simply been demanding common sense, ie. fiscal discipline, a BUDGET would be nice.
The last federal budget was passed in September of 2007, and EVERY FLIPPING INSUFFERABLE YEAR we have to go through the predictable fiasco of a Government Shutdown Standoff and/or a Debt Ceiling increase specifically because there is NO BUDGET!
That’s a strategy?
That’s the GOP strategy? Essentially: Lets plan for an annual battle against articulate Democrats and Presidential charm, using a creepy guy who cries and another old mumbling fool who dodders, knowing full well the MSM is on the side of the other guy to begin with?
THAT’S YOUR GOP STRATEGY? Don’t tell me it’s not, because if it wasn’t there’d be something else being done – there isn’t.
And don’t think we don’t know the 2009 “stimulus” became embedded in the baseline of the federal spending, and absent of an actual budget it just gets spent and added to the deficit each year, every year. Yet this is somehow smaller fiscal government?
….And you’re worried about what Donald Trump might do?
Seriously?
James Woods posted this few days ago and he is, spot on.
https://twitter.com/RealJamesWoods/status/1338553008108359681?s=20
Until we get a news org inline with America First, no amount of ‘party’s’ will make any headway. I would much rather see the Trump children use their creative genius in this field than by trying to enter politics of no avail.
Why not do both? We have One America News. Start supporting that and getting it out to the populace. Also form the America First Party, a nationalist populist party. Can you imagine the GOPe freak out when 40-80 million voters or more change their registration from GOP to AFP in a year.
I would guess you would pull 15% of Dems and a huge percentage of independents to the new AFP.
GOP Senators are only interested in hanging on to their seats and that is all. We must take back the House in 2022 and unseat this Senate of Cowards.
I can’t decide what to do with my gwinnett county georgia vote. no calls are returned from the election office regarding records requests for the Chain of Custody logs for the made up drop boxes. No response from gov. office, sec of state or atty gen of georgia. I am inclined to give them the stinking rotten senate. that snake mike lee just snuck his requirements to bring in hordes of foreigners to take jobs from our kids. Modern day slavery foreigners are Cheap ~ Compliant ~ Captives workers. Shame! I am ready to destroy the party and work diligently for The American First Party.
I am with you Jean! Where do we begin?
If we can’t punish election fraud, how will we take back anything?
Where do we sign for the America First Party?
The future of America needs to be — must be — founded on an understanding of the truth of its situation. There is no one better to provide that than Donald Trump; he knows both the high and low “classes” — wealth — in this country, and is as concerned with we “Deplorables” as he is with the 30,000-foot financial interests. Bring back an independent America, with its own manufacturing, and sufficient jobs that we can pay for American-made products
At bottom, however, must be (well, certainly should be) a new understanding, that both America’s and the world’s knowledge has deteriorated over the last 50 years (and more, to the very beginning of it), to that of a “banana republic”. This is not about one side’s religious beliefs vs. the other side’s; everybody’s pet dogma, no matter how seemingly sacrosanct, is perfect, “at heart” (it is precisely in the most intimately held-dear ideas that we as Earth’s only intelligent species is falling down, and apart). It is not just politics any more; politicians are abusing the crisis of incompetence in science (energy infrastructure, “global” climate, immunology, you name it) — SURE knowledge — across the board now…have you ever wondered why the psychologists and psychiatrists haven’t jumped, all in, on the insanity of the Insane Left brought into full bloom by Obama/Soetoro, the Little Indonesian President — well, it is because they are all incompetent, to the obvious point of the high crimes we have witnessed by politicians over the last 12 years.
The human race is full of itself, its “sure” knowledge. That attitude has been too-long nurtured, without constant cleaning and polishing and above all rebuilding from the ground up. (Instead, we get World Wars.) Those involved THINK they have done that, and that “the science is settled”. But it is not, and guess what? YOU don’t know how and why it is not, if you only look at it through your own staid, hoary-with-age, pet dogmas…all of them. The Truth is working against all, now, trying to get out…
But first we have to save America from the Insane Left, and all of our depleted-intelligence politicians.
Last paragraph, heavily concur. And it would need to funded with an obscene amount of money such that the cable providers CANNOT ignore it because, ultimately, they drool like everyone else at the rice bowl.
He refuses to go to Parler. All talk.
While I have an unverified (private) account on Parler, I see several informed folks I really respect (including sundance and codemonkeyZ) questioning Parler and its motives. It may not be the conservative voice its intended to be.
When something is free, you are the product. Don’t assume Parler was built out of need… it may have just been opportunity. Conservatives are leaving the big tech giants… watch out for wolves waiting to scoop us up.
Dinesh can stay in the swamp Uniparty if he wants to… I’m out.
There’s nothin in it for me.
I dropped party affiliation on my voter registration. I WILL not be counted as a republican after the abject failure of the party to stand for America First and Donald Trump. We should all drop party affiliation and donating any money to the survival of GOP. If we all dropped party affiliation the message to the party would be clear. We need a party that represents the 73 million who turned out to vote for the survival of America and its principles.
ALREADY DONE!!! Did it this past week!!!
A couple of weeks ago Dutch suggested change your affiliation to:
America First.
Too much corruption, Too many career politicians in the GOP
Dinesh doesn’t understand that today or tomorrow existing Republican party donors will own his short term MAGA push in maybe 2 years max,
Silly Dinesh.
To those who fear “what might happen” if we opted to form a new party, I can only say, “My God! Can you not see what is happening RIGHT NOW?”
But we keep missing the underlying condition causing our fatal disease. For all their astonishing genius, the Founders missed a critical factor. Actually, that’s not fair; you can’t be responsible for missing something that never existed in your entire life’s experience. They had no concept of a “professional politician.”
Our system works beautifully when operated by private citizens who sacrifice their careers or businesses for 2 to 6 years to serve their country, then return home. That is no longer the model. What we have now is very like a monarchy with a huge, resident and incestuous royal court. To keep the serfs from revolting (again), we let different members of the court be the king for a while, pretending that each time we change kings, it was “the will of the people.”
To further the con, we let the serfs pick a few new lords and ladies every two years. But only a few; too much new blood too quickly leads to loss of control.
That’s why the last four years have been what they’ve been. Somehow a man with all the trappings of royalty slipped into the palace, took the throne then revealed himself to be loyal to the serfs! He cared nothing for minuets and perfumed handkerchiefs; he was into peace and prosperity for the villagers.
This was a direct, mortal threat to the court. The Grand Illusion depended on pretending to care; actually caring would reveal the con. So every measure to dethrone the usurping outsider was taken. Somehow he weathered every assault and stayed the course. As his term neared its end, abject terror seized the Royal Court. This uncouth pretender to the throne would without doubt vaporize the Grand Illusion if allowed a second turn playing the king. Already there were signs that more and more of the serfs were waking up and paying attention, sensing that for the first time in their lives, “something different is happening.”
With no other options, the Palace Guard tried a desperate, unlikely gambit. Let the people speak, as usual, but insist that they had said “NEXT!” not “MORE!” It wouldn’t work, of course. The lie would be so obvious, and there were safeguards, but it was all they had left.
But then the royal court discovered something marvelous. The serfs were serfs for a reason! Most could be deceived, despite obvious evidence of the con in plain sight. Those who could still think for themselves were the problem. They would yell and protest, and perhaps a few would try to storm the palace and be cut down, but soon enough, they would shuffle back to the fields, grumbling but compliant once again.
So yes, new party; who can condone preserving the scenario I’ve described? BUT, until we whack the size of the Federal government to say, about 30% its current size, AND strictly limit time-in-office of BOTH elected AND non-elected officials, in time we’ll have another royal court, just with different syphilitic lords and painted ladies.
Kings and Queens and Lords were and are professional politicians…America revolted against them, made the Constitution specifically against such as them.
I voted for Nixon in 1972, my first allowed vote. After that, I wound up voting Democrat for the next 8 straight presidential elections. But that was just my half-hearted interest, in a continuously deteriorating political environment and increasingly empty candidates, on both sides. I have been an independent — my mental outlook would never allow me to join either of the parties — and it didn’t matter in the end, except as lifelong prelude to what we are witnessing now, with bottom-of-the-barrel Bush Jr. followed by “piled higher and deeper” Obama, and finally with the miracle of Trump (I voted, and skipped watching the returns on November 3rd, because you know, it wasn’t likely the country would go my way…) And now we have had four years of the insane reaction to the miracle of Trump. The execrable reaction by both parties.
So I say we need the destruction of BOTH Democrats and Republicans. Total destruction is warranted, but then, we have to start with something to work with, if only new leaders, and a cleansing decimation of individuals in all three branches…they’ve made it easier for us, through their demonstrated insanity and hatred of Trump, and of us with him. If we can’t at least punish the clear traitors, for all to see and hopefully learn better…
Yes and we also need to make sure we pay attention to whom we put into our state houses, our local government, community leaders, our school boards, Sheriffs, hospitals. Every little bit of leadership must be for our best interests. The Covid fascism has shown us this just as much as PDJT has shown us on the national level
I have participated in promoting the Convention of States effort because of the term limits, balanced budget, etc. components. With the current events and corresponding atmosphere, there is a good chance these “very difficult to erect” barriers can be put into position to protect the nation.
Perhaps the idea of the career poitician can be destroyed also by social construct: using social media to promote the virtues of the “private citizens who sacrifice their careers or businesses for 2 to 6 years to serve their country.”
If we started a separate party, we would have to support term limits across the board. And get rid of 230.
OH FFS, go make a movie Dinesh and just STFU. I want a new Party w/new rules, new procedures, new people. Elite, Establishment, and RINO’s are not welcome in this new Party. No more coat riding candidates that talk the talk and as soon as elected jump ship. Good Lord I wish I hadn’t read this article this late at night. I could go on and on.
Never go to bed upset.
Do we really think over 70 million would leave the GOP for a 3rd party?
I do not.
With 50 million voters, if that, a Trumplike candidate would not win.
My opinion.
Yet Trump one. All the naysayers said he didn’t have a snowballs chance in Hades of winning. Yet, we voted and in HUGE numbers. Legal votes I might add. IN PERSON.
I don’t know if 70 million would, or not. I know that I will. The GOP is purposely useless for us. The Democrat is blatantly satanic. Stay if you want and pretend that you’re saving ‘conservative ‘ inc. I watched John James throw it in for a promised future payout. He even sent Peters a bottle of scotch, ( lol ). How much more do you require? Perhaps a little more of the folding of hands after the next sellout, exclamations that they have done all that they could, but unfortunately those rascally dems were still able to get their agenda passed and now you are the property of the state?
What Fox did to itself on election night 2020 is what the GOP has done to itself every night since. I stayed with Fox for awhile as they drifted ever leftward until I was down to Tucker Carlson and the Sunday Mark Levin show. But I haven’t watched since election night and don’t miss it at all.
The GOP has long had its rinos and anti-Trumpers. But they have betrayed not just President Trump and his supporters, but the country and our Constitution. That is pretty much the last straw. If we don’t have a new party, I won’t have anyone to vote for.
The goal is to stop playing the game that feeds the corruption and to destroy those who betrayed us.
The GOP wing of the Uniparty must be destroyed. (actually both wings)
Right now we do have one party. The illusion of GOP controlled anything is just an illusion. They all want power and work together. Their fights in front of the cameras is theater.
Right now, D’s are set to hold WH, Senate and House.
What do we have to lose?
What?
All I know is that we’re following the rules of the game and getting consistently fleeced.
I, too, respect Dinesh… but what do we have to lose? We’ve been getting hammered no matter who we vote for (outside of VSGPDJT and a few exceptions).
Voting Republican because they’re pretending to appeal to us has not been paying dividends. Just like we used to watch Fox News because they were the only mainstream conservative news outlet. Both have used our beliefs and moral compasses against us… bait for the trap.
Time to try something different. There are VERY few Republican politicians that I trust and even fewer that I respect. It would take someone like our President to make it work in that first winning election…
Perot had the substance but was up against an incredible machine, though he did derail a wolf in sheep’s clothing (Bush I). President Trump was a big celebrity before he ran and that gives him reach. This would be key to launching a new party and making it successful out of the gate… it will require some star power, from outside the beltway.
Should Trump be forced out can he run as independent in 2024? If yes …. how would that work?
Who could he boot out immediately? Presumably ALL RINOs in Senate & House.
Could he boot Democrats out?
If he’s Independent could he not boot everyone out and start afresh?
How about the bureaucracy? They all need to be fired.
We might be better off with PDJT in 2024 running independent. THE AMERICA PARTY.
They are planning to throw him in jail. And they will, it’s what communist do.
For the Georgia Senate election, presently, I have received 5 absentee ballots.
I DID NOT REQUESTED!! I vote at the poll.
The fraud will be around for some time. We will have to organize to fight fraud…a thousand people show up in cars at Governor and Mayor offices at 10am and their homes at 4AM to actually intimidate.
You know what to do with those ballots. Now go do it.
Lol, vote all 5 and request more. Apparently stealing votes is in and questioning it is very bad.
Just kidding
which county? i’m in gwinnett and can not believe the changed voter pattern!! absurd!!
GAP
Great America Party ?? ?
When you have this majority voting system, you will always have these results. Compare with Israel and think! Ok, if you make a MAGA party now, I’m sure the GOP will disappear. Greetings from Bulgaria
There are two parties in the US. Patriots and traitors.
With all due respect, neither Sundance nor Dinesh are correct, as both suggestions do not address the actual issue at hand. What good will a “fixed” or even a true third party do if an election can be stolen in front of everybody? You are now officially past seeking any legal redress and nobody seems to realize it yet. How did third parties work out during National Socialism? How about Communist China? What about Communist Cuba? Perhaps third parties worked in Venezuela? What about during the Khmer Rouge, were third parties fairing well then? Do you see where I am going here?
Take off the rose-colored glasses and stop entertaining fantasies about the magic workings of a third party under a system which no longer abides by the law!
During my lifetime there have been 13 US presidents. I learnt some fifty years ago not to trust politicians or the media. I want to live a quiet and peaceful life in a country that upholds law and order. However, when corruption and fraud is endemic, I doubt it can be fixed by shuffling around those at the top. Perhaps the focus should be on local government and state level? Perhaps enough states that strictly uphold the law would be able to put far more pressure on the public to chose principled people for central government? Either that or secession?
This election proved to me just how important local politics are. If not for four cities, what would be talking about right now?
I understand that it’s an uphill battle but that doesn’t mean we should run for the hills. Eventually, they’ll follow us there if we don’t stand our ground.
And I may be unduly optimistic about it, but I still think VSGPDJT is going to come out on top of this election somehow. If not, we’ll get whatever we allow (keep writing letters, making phone calls, showing up for protests/gatherings).
I agree that election reform is a must… but who do you trust in active government to do anything about it? Neither of the current parties is really opposed, which means Republicons are complicit. Many have helped shape and benefit from the current situation.
This^^^^^
Either trump continues as President or talk of this political or that political party is absurd. If the democrats are allowed to steal this election, no honest election will be again occurring. Opposition will need to be more vigorous than playing within that corrupt system.
I do believe that the Democratic Party isn’t acting alone; there is a large core of the Republican Party which is more than happy to at least give the illusion that they are “losing” power, when in reality they are all profiting off of the optics of a legally run government. In the background they are all selling access to office and enriching themselves in a gross and absurd manner which could most accurately be compared to the ruling class under a neo-feudal system. Continuing using this analogy, it would also be an accurate observation that our “ruling class” are allowed to continue committing these crimes because they are not really the ones who make the final call on anything; somewhere in the mix one must understand that there are people making calls about domestic and foreign policy and it isn’t the people we have been electing, as they are too busy collecting bribes essentially. So, who is really running the show and further, what good would creating a new party do to solve any of this?
There is no longer a legal venue available to air any of these grievances. This is the sorry state of where we currently are. The institutions are not acting in the interest of the people; they are determined to cover up their crimes, the judicial and part of the executive seem adamant about preserving the institution of government because exposure of what is going on would collapse everything only to be rebuilt by the same corrupt derelicts who got us here in the first place.
We have a system of self-governance, which nobody ever said would be easy. It is time to stop denying what we know to be true and begin to remedy the problem, regardless of party affiliation. It is not about D vs. R; it is about the heirs to the republic vs. a corrupt and arrogant government. Anybody who is interested in preserving Liberalism in its true sense – the greatest achievement to have come out of the Enlightenment and the very foundation of your republic – better start producing real ideas and solutions (hint: none of it includes starting a third party and waiting for “elections” in 2-4 years).
That too, specially because they will legalize about 40 million illegals who will then bring in the rest of their families.
Meanwhile, we give them hell. The GOP needs to stand up for it or be destroyed. If we reward them they will keep doing the same thing.
Give them hell!
In my dream world Trump will roll the tanks and arrest the perps. With SCOTUS ruling not to hear the Texas case I am convinced a solution will not occur through the current system. Trump has yet to throw ONE haymaker and I doubt it will happen now. I love president Trump but the fat lady has sung the eulogy on our current uniparty system. Best Trump works outside the fence to bring change. I am one who believes the media is enemy number 1 and pray Trump starts a media news org to bring a voice to a once free American.
Very good comment SRZ. My thoughts exactly. We could wait and see if any republicans block electoral votes but at this point in time I don’t have enough faith in any republican to do what is right. If president Trump does not enact EO and Biden/Obama get in there will be one party only and it will be CCP.
SRZ is right. There are no second parties alive and flourishing in Communist Cuba, Communist Venezuela, Communist Russia, and Communist China. These countries extinguish 2nd and 3rd parties very quickly. Anybody remember what the Obama regime did to the Tea Party?
If President Trump enacts the EO there will be traitors going to jail. There will also be riots but at least we will have a chance to fight our way out of this and maybe win back our Republican form of government which is what our Founding Fathers had to do.
Our government is broken. We will have to fight to get it back.
Enacting the EO would be a good start. The support needed for that to work must come from organic means, otherwise it would be distorted and presented to an essentially ignorant electorate. I have a few ideas:
1) Enact EO in its entirety, followed by seizures of property and further criminal prosecution;
2) Massive declassification exposing crimes and the need to declare Marshall law;
3) Marshall law;
4) Complete overhaul of the voting system with many checks and balances to prevent this from occurring again including enacting term limits for all elected officials;
5) Executive recall of any politician (executive, legislative and judicial branches) regardless of party affiliation who is found to have been selling office, meddling in elections or otherwise corrupt dealings, followed by snap elections in those areas in order to fill the vacant positions with proper vetting or new appointments in the case of the judiciary;
6) Complete overhaul of all intelligence agencies and criminal liability for those who have committed crimes these last four years.
Much more needs to be done, but this would be a significant start. It would also present a massive disruption to their self-enrichment scheme. I would also suggest using RICO to prosecute both parties. In the aftermath there can be discussions about creating replacements.
The hope for any of this to occur cannot be pinned on a group of people who are in high positions and you can count on one hand. This type of stuff requires a large body of people who are informed and dedicated to the cause in order to right all of the many wrongs which have been allowed to continue unnoticed all these years.
SRZ. I agree. Exactly with you. Good post
I can no longer edit my posts as too much time has elapsed, but everywhere I wrote “Marshall law” was of course meant to read “martial law.” I am not sure who Marshall is, but he falsely makes an appearance three times total in my posts.
If POTUS fails to take legal necessary action now to prevent the Biden Installation, then he loses my support.
I will not throw my support behind someone who is as weak as the GOP.
America needs a Warrior President right now.
I respectfully suggest that America doesn’t need any one person to fight for them, but that America needs its citizens to do their civic duty for once and stop waiting for others to do it for them. You might ask yourself how putting your faith in the system or any one entity has worked out for us thus far. Would we not be in this very position had that not been the case?
Everybody must eventually come to the conclusion that it is called self-governance for a reason. It is very hard to sit back and watch all of this go down with the most shocking part of it all being the American electorate has rolled over and submitted without having even put up any fight whatsoever. Stated differently: the alphabets run operations like this year round in foreign countries, trying to elicit regime change in areas with education levels much, much lower than in the USA, yet a few times over the alphabets failed because people were motivated to protect themselves. That to me is the most embarrassing part of being American: it is knowing the greatness upon which the country was founded and the stupidity of the majority to recognize what is currently happening and for them to defend what is rightfully theirs.
We are not doing it to be a “3rd party” we are doing it to become a majority party. My only question is why do anything with in the system until the cheat machine has bee dismantled? As of now I do not have a vote if they choose????
Screw the Republicans. I feel shame and dishonor for voting for Bush 1, 2, McStain, Ryan, Romney. I feel disgust at being deceived my whole life. I was originally wary of Trump due to his Democratic past but won me over quickly. There is and never was a Republican party. It’s all uniparty. I hung on all these years to the hope that a conservate would come and save us. I was wrong, it’s a populist that saved us. Trump will not go away. The fight is against both parties…….well, only one really. The uniparty.
My wife expressed convern about the Georgia senate race and I told her why care. They will install who they wish and besides, anyone think the senate with a one vote majority for Republicons will NOT bend over for the Obamites running the Biden farce? I am sure Romney, Murkowski and the other never Trump vipers will gladly do thier bidding.
In closing, how about the supreme court? Should we feel that they will have our back? I think not. We are good and screwed and a comeback will not be with the same folks who brought us here. And yes the Republicans held up thier end of the bargain. Keep an eye on their behaviour in the coming months. There will be an audible sigh of relief and getting back to the good ole days with thier buds.
As I previously stated, I am not advocating doing anything within the current system as I believe it is beyond repair and there is no legal venue in which to air grievances; however, you also cannot abandon everything and hope for the best. Thus, my suggestion is declaring Marshall law, as stated above, and enacting the reforms during this time period. I apologize that I could not make it more clear in my previous post.
I can no longer edit my posts as too much time has elapsed, but everywhere I wrote “Marshall law” was of course meant to read “martial law.” I am not sure who Marshall is, but he falsely makes an appearance three times total in my posts.
Did we deliver the House/Senate and elect Pres. Trump in 2016? Where was that Republican Repeal of O-Care. As Trump stated many times, I thought that would be the first bill I signed. The Bill Obama Did Veto several times.
The Republicans never had any plan for what they would do if they repealed Obamacare. They are like the dog that chases the Big Brown Truck. Now that they have caught it, what are they going to do?
They all work for the big Pharma. Not for us.
They never had a plan because they were never going to repeal Obamacare. ‘Mavericky’ McCain was their foil for that.
There plenty of options, just that they are part of Obama’s unipaty. Pay attention to the game not the D talking points.
This is my opinion
The only possible solution to avoiding a civil war at this point is to create a new MAGA party and pull enough Representatives and Senators from both parties to make sure no one party has the control of either house. I think this is doable if Trump starts now. I have posted this on my blog a few days ago
I’m in! Agree infinite %
Name me the one current demonrat that would join a MAGA party? Maybe Tulsi, but she gave up her seat to run for President.
There is the ‘Walk Away’ movement where people tell the reasons they walked away from the Democrat Party.
They weren’t walking to the Republicans, but to Trump.
In reality they and we want to walk away from the swamp and Uniparty.
I know a name isn’t as important as the goals, but the right name will indicate so many things. While I love Wolverines, that won’t work. Nor Tea Party or MAGA.
It needs to appeal to all people tired of the corruption.
LGB friendly, we need more Rick Grenels and Barndon Strakas, etc. They are fearless and want what we want. Free country, true equality not selected privileged.
Spot on. I am an unaffiliated, independent, registered voter since the early 80s and this is as direct as I have ever seen what many of us saw in, and directed at President Trump. Not being critical the only thing missing in a link to Washington’s Farewell Address.
We [me included] have watched what?? 4 weeks now as willy nilly, “weak as water”[1] Republican elected officials[not politicians-legislators] have tucked their tails and ran as evidence has piled up and voters are screaming .
Socrates learned you good………….

[1] Mrs. Slocum
the ‘GOP’ is already split between those in DC and the rest of us. without US, there IS NO GOP. i certainly won’t ever vote again unless the process has massive changes to safeguard election integrity, and certainly wouldn’t vote for any republican who hasn’t stood up during this time of national crisis.
It’s always better to be one asked to give support than be one whose support is taken for granted. I’ve said for a while now that conservatives are the blacks of the GOP (“Where are they going to go? They have nowhere.”); but we’re not. With a new Party, the GOP comes to us with hat in hand because we can always run our own candidates. (75 million votes is quite a bargaining chip).
What symbol for out new Party? The lion is nice, but I think the wolverine is more our speed…..(or have we evolved into honey badgers LOL?)
TP? Toilet Paper ? How about TAP, The American Party. Let’s Double TAP the UniParty.
I’m glad you read Jonah Goldberg so I didn’t have to.
I question the relevance of any party structure, given that our voting process and our constitution has been fatally compromised. While I still have some hope the Trump will somehow get justice, the complete dereliction of duty on the part of the Supreme Court is undermining this hope. If the Democrats end up controlling 2.5-3 branches of government, the fraud we saw this time will get consolidated and expanded, not to mention wholesale violations of much of the rest of the Constitution. Best case is that the Democrats control only 1.5 branches and Trump’s hold on the DoJ remains sketchy. Which means, even in the best case, nothing gets done about vote fraud. I am beginning to think that a declaration of martial law is the best road forward. Hard choice for me but what is a constitutionalist supposed to do when the constitution is gone.
fantastic review of GOP treachery. We do need a new party but is it possible that liberty has been strangled and is now dead? Apart from a divorce or secession, I am not sure how to go about building a revived conservative ruling state. There are several other issues. Conservatives and libertarians are not the same and this suggests a schism within the GOPexit movement. Secondly, I would venture to guess that many of us ‘conservatives’ are getting Social Security, military retirement, VA benefits, agriculture supplements, government pensions etc. In other words, we are also on a high sugar diet. These are just some thoughts about the practical side of cutting a new trail. The same is true of the culture war. Just one example is social media or a replacement for Facebook, Twitter, Fox, Netflix, and Youtube. The best content on Youtube is monetized and isn’t going to move to Rumble which is becoming a harbor for conservatives but not much else. I agree with CTH and others who advocate a shedding of the Chamber of Commerce Romney GOP but I would like to see a pragmatic list of steps for us to pursue going forward. The United States truly has a deep state that is entrenched at every level and were it not for the election of Trump, it would have remained largely hidden.
Dinesh, McConnell isn’t a conservative.
As the sayin’ goes, “A new broom sweeps clean.” The trouble with the ole’ broom, GOP, is not just doesn’t it sweep so well, but what it does do is often a sweeping under the rug.
If the present day with it’s circumstances doesn’t present such a time to change, then how dire would it have to become to make such a move!
Imagine a new Party that is free of lifetime corrupt politicians which would be comprised of patriotic Americans, doctors, lawyers, teachers etc. Patriots who want nothing more than to keep America from Communism. I say let’s do this. January 1st, 2020 I hope we can get the ball rolling. No more spineless bought GOP Rinos.
Your best ever, SD. If the world had a shred of integrity and credibility left, this column would run in the NYT and on the National Review as the most accurate, concise, and well-argued expression of the Trump phenomenon explained. But of course, it won’t. There is no media. The intelligencia is no longer intelligent. Republicans are a farce.
Well written, well thought out article. All I have is, ‘ Amen ‘.
The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual, and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation on the ruins of public liberty.
Without looking forward to an extremity of this kind (which nevertheless ought not to be entirely out of sight), the common and continual mischiefs of the spirit of party are sufficient to make it the interest and duty of a wise people to discourage and restrain it.
It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-rounded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another; foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which find a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passion. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another
There is an opinion that parties in free countries are useful checks upon the administration of the government, and serve to keep alive the spirit of liberty. This within certain limits is probably true; and in governments of a monarchical cast patriotism may look with indulgence, if not with favor, upon the spirit of party. But in those of the popular character, in governments purely elective, it is a spirit not to be encouraged. From their natural tendency it is certain there will always be enough of that spirit for every salutary purpose; and there being constant danger of excess, the effort ought to be by force of public opinion to mitigate and assuage it. A fire not to be quenched, it demands a uniform vigilance to prevent its bursting into a flame, lest, instead of warming, it should consume.
Farewell Address (September 19, 1796) George Washington
AN article that STANDS on its own is an article needs to be read SLOWLY and understood for all the ramifications of what was alluded too.
Me personally, this hits home like no other article that has been written by the any other author. I have been reading articles on the shenanigans of the GOPE and right at this moment and in the future…WE NEED A PARTY THAT IS FOR THE 60% of this country, because this is what the country is approximately…there are more conservatives than liberals BUT the lies that the media puts out remedy that situation quite nicely…
Case in point: why do dems ALWAYS WANT TO BRING IN ILLEGALS?
Answer: BECAUSE THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH LIBERALS.
Question: Why does the GOPE Leadership NOT listen too us? Because they are there to pull the dollars in from the lobbyists…
NOTE: I have stayed in DC for a period of time (military) and the times I went to the Capital to observe OUR government, I ALWAYS felt that I was watching a KABUKI theater…It is all FLUFF AND THE UNEASINESS THAT WENT WITH IT…has never left me.
Thank you Sundance…
“KABUKI theater” – Nearly all, except for the occasional off the rails, orchestrated behind the scenes. So-and-so will say such-and-such because of the voters back home, but that’s okay because we have the votes we need anyway.
When the refer to one another as “The Honorable” is when the theater becomes one of the absurd.
Hubby and I will quit GOP as soon as Patriot Party is formed.
Do it now before Jan 06 to send a message that we are serious. They don’t fear us and that is the problem. They thing they can do this to us and we will forget and keep voting for them.
Send a message: WE ARE DONE!
The new party does exactly one thing and what it is attended for.
Destroy the Republican Party, it ceases to exist. Then that new party sets forth it’s purpose and recruits, recruits and recruits. It already has 80 million in it, I want Trump to lead it with his 2 sons and then go after 100 % allegiance of leaders from the top down, patriots of the first order.
I really like Dinesh but I’m sick of being told these thing will not work when we never try them, we just continue to go along to get along. !!!!!!!!!!!!NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!
We need to stop the BullS**t this is our move to checkmate and Trump I hope will do it because he is our only hope. Can you think of any body else. The first person I hope to join him is Rand Paul.
Primary is the problem. It forces us to vote inside our party. That means few voters, no power, RINOs keep winning.
If we don’t have a primary in our MAGA party, we are free to gang up against all other swamp crooks in the Dems party. We will have the numbers when we combine with others of that party.
Right now “we” ( are R’s D’s and I’s) Trump appealed to many D’s
this American movement is definitely from the ground up and natural. We have been here all along. While we all ask what we can do as individuals, it is what we are all doing now. Alone we feel helpless, then you see these photos and l know we are not. Keep at it everyone. The individual conversations, reading and educating yourself and the ones around you. Do not take ridicule, push back, respectfully. Arguing never works. The democrats will not steal this election. What they have done is taken their skirmish battle tactics and elevated them to a war, which we will win. They have exposed their election theft tactics and have forced politicians on both sides to show us all where they really stand. It is now blatantly obvious there is only one party of only slightly different shades of color. After trump is sworn in for his second term, he needs to announce the start of a new party and lay waste to every cretin and critter hiding in the crack and shadows of not only Washington DC, but do every political criminal hotbed in the US. They are afraid and it is apparent. They know they have crossed the line and have no one to blame but themselves. God is on our side. God always bats last and he is on deck.
For those of you agreeing with Dinesh:
First of all, we have one party right now, we need a second party. Not a third.
If the GOP wing of the Uniparty don’t stand up against this coup, the Demoncraps wing of the Uniparty will control WH, House and Senate possibly. (they are working on stealing it and no one is stopping them)
What do we have to lose? If Dems steal all 3? We are not giving up anything. We are fighting back.
We MUST gang up against ALL incumbents of both wings of the Uniparty.
Vote in Dems primary to oust their greedy control freaks out. Ohhh yes we can!
Sure they will steal it, but we will make their lives hell and they will have to pour insane amount of money just to stay alive in the primary. Lol, that will piss them off.
The vote stealing will have to be so great it will be obvious. And that is what we need.
Imagine a local race in a district with… 30 K people where we see 70K votes because they had to steal that many to make sure they hung on to their safe primary seat. Lol… More and more people will start seeing the theft. Blame us for the fraud? Ok lets recount.
We need a new game. I’m not playing their game by their rules anymore. Let’s make the rules. It’s our game.
Our MAGA Independent candidate will have no primary, he/she are safe so we are free to unseat swampee in any primary. We will have nothing better to do during the primary then to spoil the Uniparty’s game.
That’s a game changer.
Trust me: The UNIPARTY wants to hang on to their power and keep ruling us. If we unseat let’s say… Schumer, they will not be happy to have another AOC challenging their absolute power. No outsider allowed. It’s a club and we need to dismantle it.
Best way to put it… we have one party, masquerading as two. The Republican Party is just the Democrats’ outreach program. It’s no different than scripted pro wrestling in my opinion.
A vote for either one is a vote for the same policies, no matter what they say their mission is. History is the best indicator and sundance makes a damn good case in this article.
Actually, democrat voters get the wool pulled over their eyes in some cases as well. The only consessions they get are socially minded, and don’t alter the pay for play structure of DC.
Globalist, money-grubbing, uniparty ideology is behind any and everything the machinery of either party puts forth, as far as I can tell.
The ConservaTeave Party sounds good to me…
We need to appeal to all voters.
Respectfully disagree with D’Souza. That said, I only hope we still have a country in which to form that new party. Stay tuned and keep the.faith.
Right now we are acting like the classic controlled sheep. They get away with crimes because we do nothing about it and they know it. Corruption is safe for them.
Our gov needs to fear us.
Right now they take us for granted.
That is what we need to change.
No more predictable sweet little sheep. We are now the lion party.
We will gang up against all swamp demons. Both parties.
Rigged elections aside, the true power of a political party is its voter base, not its donor base.
The donor base is important, but without the voters it is wasted money.
Donald Trump has the voter base.
The GOP has the donor base and its corrupting influence.
We need to separate ourselves from both.
The GOP is no longer the GOP. Initially I thought it would split the vote, but not anymore than Independents do. People have left the GOP and are still leaving because they are no longer conservative, and refuse to hold anyone accountable. This mass exodus will continue. We don’t need a party which refuses to unite behind the President of our own party. Members of the United States Senate, “are you listening?”
Two thoughts for your consideration.
1–Should we not first devise and have a firm platform for this new “party” ? Lots of details to work out before we present a new option to the American public.
2–The reason I put party in quotation marks in the 1st thought is because I think maybe calling it the “blank______Coalition” (or whatever) might be better than calling it a “party”. The “American Freedom Coalition” is more open to all and disregards “party affiliation” limitations. We don’t want just “former Republican Party members”, we want a coalition of all Americans who believe in Freedom, the Constitution, Law and Order, We The People, etc.
We all know what needs to be done in DC to end corruption.
The problem is not that.
The problem is both parties are in it. D’s AND R’s, THEY ARE THE CORRUPTION WE ARE TIRED OF.
We can’t keep wishing for any D’s or R’s to end corruption for us. They have no intentions of doing it. That has been our mistake #1.
The GOP will not end the election fraud. They participated in it.
I’m pretty sure it was fraud.
When D’s take control if they succeed with this coup. Rest assured there will see big fights between D’s
D’s used the radicals to get elected now the radials want a piece of that pie. They want control and they are nuts.
Problem is, so did lobbyists. Big donors, Wall Street, banks. They funded elections.
Lol, good luck appealing to both groups.
Big chance D’s split as well if we split.
The Republic-CON party needs to be burned to the ground. If the Repukelicans allow that imbecile Biden to take the office I will walk away from the Repukelican party…see ya! I will NEVER vote Repukelican again…EVER! Screw them.
So will you then vote Demoncrat?
I agree the Republicon Party needs burning.
but burning the Demoncrat Party right along with their Republicon brother org is what is necessary.
otherwise, what’s the point?
I concede this argument.
I admit to being sentimental and a “restorationist” – wishing to cleanse and restore this back to the Party of Lincoln.
Perusing this review of GOP behaviour has reminded me of my own ire against them: they took away my right to choose, my right to express my voice in the primaires when I was still a CO resident. There was no way The Machine was going to let me choose Trump.
Of course now that I am a resident of SD, I discover The Machine is in full control there as well, giving us no options. But I am willing to place a bet that a new party will quickly dismantle The Machine and take control because it seems the Ds have no power at all.
I am one of the old Blue Dogs. I was a Reagan Democrat. I am a farmer. I am a Marine combat veteran. I am, and have always been, America First. Caveat: I voted for Reagan, Bill Clinton (twice), George Bush (twice) and Barack Obama (twice). I was completely deceived by the entire Democrat / Republican politcal scam (One Uni-party, two wings, one fowl Establishment). After 2012, I realized that the Democrats had abandoned the Blue Dogs and I started to awaken to the scam. i walked away from the Democrat Party because it quit caring about working men and women.
I voted for Trump in 2016 because I was SICK of the Establishment, SICK of the Uni-Party, SICK of the endless graft, grift, greed and corruption, and SICK of the endless wars. I didn’t know Trump, didn’t care to. I voted for him in 2016, as a protest.
In 2020, I voted for Trump because the true scale of the globalist forces against him, and against America, were in full cry.
I am disgusted with the Democrats (who now appear to be the face of evil and tyranny), who *STOLE* this election through fraud. I am disgusted with the Republicans (who now appear to be the face of oligarchy and globalism), who helped the Democrats *STEAL* the election because the establishment DOES.NOT.CARE. if it is in the majority or the minority. Grifters gonna grift.
The end result, for me, is that I will vote for NEITHER party ever again at any level. I don’t care if the entire rotting stinking carcass of what was once The United States of America comes crashing down. And with the D’s in charge, it will. NOT MY PROBLEM.
When the collapse gets to the point that enough free men and women like me are desperate, we will take up arms. Because at that point, we will have nothing left to lose but our lives. In the mean time, I am encouraging muy sons to break SIX generations of family tradition by staying out of the military and doing the absolute minimum they can to participate in this sham corrupt government. The Establishment has broken the social contract. So be it.
We are well armed, well supplied and pretty much self-sufficient here in rural America. It will come down to violence and there will be blood. So be it. My money, my love and my life are betting on US. We will survive. The Establishment will not. To everything, there is a season.
If Donald Trump or ANY other MAGA person with the charisma of a true leader decides to lead 80 million angry American voters out of the GOP / Democrat trap, the Republican Party Establishment (and with them the Democrat Party Establishment) are over forever. Either way, they are over for me and mine. I will NEVER vote Democrat or Republican again. EVER.
Thank you for your story. Very powerful.
Amen.
The path forward isn’t political party affiliation. It is War. Civil war. The left won’t go away quietly, the GOP will join with the left before they cede power to The People’s MAGA movement.
There is only one course forward for America – War..
In Colonial times the Patriot movement had their fair share of “procrastinators” (people who believed independence was necessary but thought declaration of independence was too radical…..
Dinesh is a procrastinator.
I told my wife 25 years ago that the country was doomed and Americans with traditional values needed to separate and form their own country before it was too late. 25 years later my worst fears are becoming reality.
This debate about forming a new party vs. reforming the old is IMO beside the point. The UniParty controls the media, the schools, and the culture. We cannot prevail by playing on their home court.
MAGA people need to vote with their feet. If you live in blue or purple regions, move to red regions. Concentrate there to achieve critical mass and declare your independence!
The alternative is either submission to tyranny or an insurrection that will fail because we are geographically dispersed.
The United States of America is the land of opportunity. We The People and President Trump have a golden opportunity to throw a gigantic monkey wrench into the carefully laid plans of the Satanic globalists. If you are a believer in what the Scriptures say then you know this American Republic is one more step along the way of the LORD finally re-establishing His good government on earth.
The good government of God our Father over all the nations is a Christmas Promise given to us through prophet Isaiah 700 years before the birth of Christ:
“For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given and the government will be on his shoulder. And his name shall be called, Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end: upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom, to order it, to establish it with judgment and with justice. From henceforth, even forever the zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9: 6, 7
Be of good cheer and good courage, brother. Merry Christmas to you, and to all.
Thank you for your reply, max. I am of good cheer as my faith is in our Creator who will prevail in the end. I just do not know when that end time will be and neither does anyone else, as Jesus said.
So while waiting with hope for that END time, in the MEANtime I am advocating what I believe to be our best option to deal with the situation that faces us now.
There is no mention of America in Revelation. I believe that the great American experiment has run its course and our generation should now set a new course for the sake of our progeny so that they too will be free to wait in hope for that end time.
I would be glad to fight for, work for and contribute money to any effort President Trump organized to defend our Republic against these domestic and foreign enemies. One of the Chinese communist leaders said, “America is dying.” I sincerely hope President Trump uses his skills to put paid to the efforts our enemies are making to destroy us.
Sundance, how do we start this party?
There are only two factions worldwide now. Patriots i.e. those who support their countries’ rule of law and the Globalist who are a group of central bank traitors who have been ruling through corporate and government bureaucracy removing protections against We the People worldwide.
