This is not at all what I was hoping to see election night. Pretty close to a dead heat, and the difference in states where they allow late voting.

A lot of the news outlets are refusing to call NC and GA for example and it’s clear Trump has won them and he is outside the “recount” margins (NC is 1% and Trump is up 1.5%, GA is 0.5% and Trump is up like 5% or something). NC is one of those states that allows mailed in ballots to be received up to 3 days after the election. If there are enough outstanding to potentially impact the result they won’t call it.
