There’s an old saying: “when there’s blood in the streets buy real estate.” The modern version of the axiom relates to the strategy of George Soros: create the crisis; fund the political arsonists; drive the turmoil; then benefit from pre-positioned finances. Both versions are essentially saying the same thing.
Without opinion as to the origin and possible intent of the Chinese COVID-19 launch, what became obvious early on was how the virus could be weaponized for maximum political value.
Factually, and specifically when contrast against the most recently visible control efforts by social media giants to assist Joe Biden, you might remember back in March, April and May, how any contrary opinion of the COVID-19 hype was met with massive censorship by those exact same social media control agents.
Multinational firms like Google Inc. took down YouTube videos; Facebook banned speech or contrary scientific discussion; and Twitter banned all users who would dare question the COVID narrative. It was not/is not a coincidence those same voices are now currently suppressing information and pushing Joe Biden for the 2020 election.
If you realized the hype of COVID-19 was a weaponized narrative, then this recent story shows how the control agents also know that hype program is soon to end. Look:
(Forbes) Big Tech is bucking two big workforce trends. Amazon, Facebook, Apple and Google are all scooping up New York City commercial real estate after prices have plummeted due to the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic. The companies are making a bold contrarian bet that Manhattan will bounce back and there will still be a need for people to work in offices.
According to the New York Times, Facebook leased enough space in the city to triple the amount of people that can work in New York. Apple, which has been in the city for at least a decade, plans to expand its footprint there. Google and Amazon are snatching up space in New York—greater than any other place in the U.S. Amazon recently paid about $1 billion to acquire the Lord & Taylor flagship building in Midtown Manhattan from WeWork. Collectively, the tech behemoths can accommodate over 20,000 workers. (read more)
Obviously Big Tech knows the window of opportunity is likely to close with the result of the 2020 election. If Biden wins the virus hype will simply disappear like all other seasonal flu. Media quits shouting about it, and all of a sudden it’s gone. If Trump wins the economic engine will overwhelm the virus narrative and eventually they will have to concede the hype-battle. So after November 3rd, the value of COVID diminishes greatly.
Hence, ‘buy now, while there’s still blood on the streets.”
Comrad Cuck Todd. I love it
problem is is can they dictate wether or not a business can operate on the internet and will mike lee agree with them. sounds silly i know.
Let’m buy up all the office space they want. I don’t believe many of the business will return to the city.
Not while Cuomo and Deblasio are in power at least. Maybe they suddenly become expendable along with Newsom? I am sure Newsom’s water rationing has driven out a lot of single-family farmers in the Valleys.
yep
That is the joke to me Bob, IT will fill the city with HB1 foreigners at slave wages.
Sounds like a great tax base.
And all those HB1 foreigners will obey their Chekists (Apartment, or work centric social workers).
I agree. That’s what wrong with our country now. Too many invading species from other countries who want to bring America down and are willing to cowtow to communism.
They aren’t looking for a better life. This is an invasion.
Deli’s will have to change their menus.
President Trump is SLOWLY closing that HOLE…HB1 VISAS are going to be hard to come by…ALSO, the Tech/Service Industry created the shortage of American programmers by bringing in these H1b Visas…NOW, we have no programmers…I keep getting resume calls from AMERICAN COMPANIES and I retired 4yrs ago….
I don’t enough about the college scam.
I heard there 300,000 Chinese going to American colleges. That would seem to get their foot in the door, to stay and work. Students here and textile workers in Italy were the ICBM’s, that delivered the WooHan bio-weapon.
I agree. I converse with some guys who work in NYC but live in my town in CT (2 hours from city w/standard traffic) and they said the people they talk to will never return to NYC. Their big firms are saying- let’s let our employees work from home, cut space, but some smaller regional office space and invest the saved money back into employees and benefits.
They are not going back.
They don’t need to return. Big tech comes with it’s own high paying workforce. They will be the indentured servants for big tech in the big apple. They can have it as far as I’m concerned.
If Biden wins., all that square footage will be used to house the H1Bs, no Americans will work in NYC unless they get paid BIG BUCKS. BIG, BIG… Even the SF Bay Area is a nicer place to live than Manhattan and the whole of the NYC metro area.
If Trump wins… no H1Bs… and again, no Americans will work in NYC.
I mean, programmers can work pretty much from anywhere nowadays… Internet, VPN, large monitors… live in you pajamas all day long… Webex, no webcams, you name it.
The “fix” is in. Even if President Trump wins another 4 years, they will continue to come. Too many traitors already embedded in government.
Even he has empathy for those who supposedly want to come here for a better life when all they really want is to ruin ours. If they can’t have it, they don’t want us to have it either.
The truth is ALL immigration categories except refugees have had increased numbers since 2016. However, the administration is signalling that they may increase the refugee numbers as well.
Hard to say if the President has any control of any of that. It doesn’t appear that the majority of the government apparatus is doing what he wants.
Much safer at home…..well, it should be!
Office spaces have reopened, but train station parking lots on LI (that were once packed with commuters) are still empty. People will not travel they did before. They’re driving to avoid mass transit.
People who lived in Manhattan made a mad dash for the suburbs and the mountains, to avoid living in crowded buildings.
Good luck with that Agenda 21 high-density workforce housing/mass transit thing. People have a new appreciation for working from home, and are finding much better places to live than in run-down cities.
And people are being more productive. interesting how when people are happy with their work situation or if their work situation is flexible they get more done. Such an amazing concept. But fools have ignored that for centuries.
Many of the businesses that left won’t return because of bankruptcies or no desire to risk more riot damage or mayoral fascism. But that does not preclude OTHER businesses from taking advantage and buying in cheap. We have seen vultures over our lifetimes ALWAYS figure out how to turn other’s misfortunes into the vultures’ fortunes.
We saw it in real estate after the 2008 crash – how real estate values plummeted in many regions yet buyers / speculators swooped in and bought up vacant properties at fire sale prices, only to flip them after a short while for profit.
It happened in the South after the War between the States….the infamous carpet-baggers. Nothing new under the sun.
Thats exactly right.
Never let a crisis go to waste.
Economics 101
Buying up stocks when everyone else is selling pays off in the long run, too. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.
Seems like the Chinese have been very good at buying prime US Real Estate when its on sale, especially NYC.
GB Barr:
The stories I could tell you about black coworkers back
around 2010 could fill a book. Many were trying to buy
fire sale priced newer homes in South Dekalb County, GA.
Lithonia, particularly.
The sale prices of the homes before the crash? $210-240K.
Big square footage. Twenty three hundred square feet and up.
Nice subdivisions. Fire sale prices? 69-80K. When they would
try to bid on them, they were unable. Time after time after time.
But, the homes still continued to be listed at the firesale prices.
Something was wayyyy off.
Something else occurring in 300K unfinished neighborhoods
in Gwinnett County at the same time. A former neighbor was
an EMT for Gwinnett. Told me all kinds of horror stories about
responding to calls in 300K homes that were being rented section
eight. Almost no furniture in them, the insides a real horror story.
Imagine being one of the neighbors that had bought into the area
before the crash.
I heard about that through my son whose in-laws lived outside of Alpharetta.. I had totally forgotten until reading your post. That WAS a very weird situation that – if I’m recalling properly- only got limited national attention.
As I recall, Senator Warren and her brother (in-law?) made a tidy sum flipping foreclosed properties.
H&HC and others- our nephew is a project manager for one of the biggest buildings recently constructed in Midtown Manhattan, across the street from Grand Central. Hard to believe but they are renting office and commercial spaces like crazy. I am not sure who the tenants are, but needless to say we were shocked to hear that there is such a demand for space, even at top dollar.
Having lived through the decline of the City and then the resurrection of Rudy Giuliani, I can tell you this- the Tech Lords can buy up all the real estate bargains they want, but as long as they have a Commie mayor like DelAssholio and a tyrant Governor like Killer Cuomo, the will be sucking wind.
The only way NYC is coming is if they get another mayor like Rudy which I don’t see happening soon. Just imagine- Google, FB, etc. are going to have to support a conservative Republican to preserve their investment.
And 98% of tech workers are white. They are going to work in NYC where the criminals run it. HA HA
Sounds like tech gentrification pushing out the financial crowd.

…”offering the select few …”
…”for the select few”…
Once companies’ balance sheets begin to reflect the benefits of telecommuting, they won’t be returning to brick/mortar. A new paradigm, perhaps – continued decline of restaurants and bulk toilet paper buys, with more living at home. Maybe even families will become reunited. 🙂
I’ve been an independent sales contractor for a Manhattan-based company for 31 years working out of my house. I started when my children were 2 and 4 with the primary benefit being my flexibility and ability to balance work and a young family and be the kind of parent I wanted to be.
Corporate is still working remotely and said the earliest the office will be back open is Jan ’21 and maybe later. I’m gonna bet they are seriously considering alternatives now.
It was so funny in the early days of the shutdowns and some of the conversations I had as these people were discovering the benefits of working from home. I kept telling them welcome to my world.
From what I can tell, most of them like the remote work environment and would welcome a hybrid schedule. I’ll bet many will resist the return to the hustle of going into the city every day.
And, PatriotKate, the employees cut the cost of commuting, no need to buy monthly train passes (that is how it worked if your employer was in downtown Chitcago). So, in essence, they get a raise – forgot what the monthly train pass costs but it wasn’t cheap. And it was a PIA trying to find a parking space at our local commuter station after the early morning rush. ?
Also, it would be an absolute hoot if someone could do these two
studies.
1. How many commuting cars have been taken off the road,
nationwide during these “difficult times”.
2. How many school buses have been taken off the road,
nationwide during these “difficult times.”
Compile those stats, spread them far and wide. Then, rub
them in the all the “New Green Deal ” idiots faces.
We could do so much for emissions by returning to the
neighborhood school concept. But that would make sense.
And, pockets couldn’t be line through unnecessary contracts.
I agree. My company has always maintained that due to security issues it is impossible for us to work from home. Now they’re realizing that they can actually do that. I think personally I will be going back but for different reasons. There’s a lot of us, like enough to make an impact on the economy of the city if we all stay away. I suspect a deal will be made, favors will be extended to the company, and we will be back in the city. Not right away but eventually. But maybe not. Now they’re sure it works. We’ve had very few issues with people working from home. And most companies are not like mine. They are saving money for electricity, rent, insurance, internet, water, and other stuff I probably missed. Employees get no commute and their own kitchen for meals and time which is precious. I don’t think commercial real estate is coming back. We just won’t need as much as there is.
Agreed. And what happens when these large fake conglomerates fall when they are ripped apart?
Will commercial real estate fall even further?
Be warned, though: when you work remotely from a red state for a company in a leftwing hellhole like NYC/San Fran, they cut your salary pretty severely. And you don’t get to keep your NY pay.
That’s the deal I had to accept to carry my current NYC job to a tax-free all-American state. My company took back the part of my salary that went to NYC and NY state taxes, plus a bit more.
So be aware. You end up with the benefit of the lower cost of living, but that’s it. Of course, the ability to get to a freer part of the country where patriots outnumber the sheeple is pretty freakin’ great.
Hmmm…sounds like “driving out the good” to me…hmmm…I think I like Trump’s idea, of “Make America Great Again” better.
I don’t think that matters if they’re snagging space for their own use. Their employees will occupy those offices. They’ll build their own commissaries, too, so all the restaurants that have gone under won’t matter either.
They helped create the disaster and benefit from the fallout. Just like China has. Just like an opportunistic disease.
A closed neighborhood. Hoe long will that last. Bloomberg already does that now. Brainwashed employees.
Bingo. I’m a retired finance person and native New Yorker who spent most of his career in my native Manhattan. Anyone who believes that things will go back to “normal” (whatever that was over the DeBlasio administration), is whistling past the graveyard. All of the big blue cities are in for a shock after the election.
I am enjoying reading these “skyscraper points of view” in these comments.
Yep. Agree.
wait until the property tax rate skyrockets to pay for all the budget deficits kurking just below the surface…
They will be the ones stuck with bailing out the City & all that cheap real estate won’t be saleable in the foreseeable future,,, Tech giants?? Look to me more like Tech idiots.
DeBlasio & Cuomo screwed NYC residents & now will have no compunctions screwing Big Tech. Maybe AOC will come to their aid this time? Don’t count on it. & don’t count on Nancy Damp Pants securing any Federal aid for that soon to be “bust town” LOL
Do not buy a new phone.
the purveyors don’t seem to have their customers’ best interests in mind.
No, they do not.
Somehow I would imagine that Big Tech receives incentives, like state and federal tax subsidies, to relocate to Dimmie-run cities. Taxpayers are always the ones on the hook. Why wouldn’t we be now?
In return, these companies kick back part of their taxpayer subsidies to bankroll political campaigns. Our money goes round and round, while we get screwed six ways to Sunday.
Yep, “they” aren’t buying up this distressed property/leases; “we” are. Or at least if, God forfend, Kommiela/Bribem are “installed.” I’m praying for a landslide for PDJT and both houses of congress to turn “redder.” That’s what we’ve got to have to save this nation! GOTV!
That was my first reaction. What, if any, tax breaks are they getting?
Also, if you get into the weeds of the Democrat bail-out plans for these Democrat cities, are there subsidies, tax breaks, etc … for half-empty office space?
AOC’s reaction to these guys getting any kind of tax break should be interesting.
Remember when Japan bought everything American in the late 1970’s – early1980’s … because Japan was going to rule the world & education … then their economy collapsed … so America bought America back at fire-sale prices from the Japanese.
do you mean late ’80s? that’s when the japanese market peaked (’89).

Given what I’m hearing from friends and business associates business air travel, hotels and commercial real estate are in for some dramatic changes
These companies are truly enemies of the American idea….
Not just NY. AZ Governor Ducey has rolled out the ‘RED’ carpet to high tech and other businesses seeking a ‘real deal’ after thousands of small to medium-sized businesses struggled but lost due to Ducey’s ongoing ‘shut down’ using ‘phony’ Covid 19 stats ‘created’ by AZ Dept. of Health Services.

They’re enemies of the USA, period. Pure evil.
This is one of the things about the past four years which bothers me most – that President Trump was robbed of the opportunity to straighten out the big tech/enemedia mess. We were all looking so forward to it.
test
Big Tech started the trend to virtual office several decades ago.
Lot are still working out of their homes.
The other issue is lockdowns. After the election, lockdowns to damage President Trump and make people miserable lose their effect.
Big Tech rents are high in scat Francisco.
I also suspect NYC is being mean to people and losing population.
I rented office space in an awesome bank tower. I took over their whole treasury department.
Midwest. They fired everybody after a merger. 8 bucks a square foot sublease. Petroleum Club in the building. Parking garage. With Wuhan flu, many bank branches are closed, for sale or only teller machine.
I bought all the abandoned furniture some desks were 5,000 dollars new. Paid 2500 bucks for 80,000 dollars worth of furniture,
NYC will have a little tech bubble that will break.
What are you going to do with all this furniture?
All office furniture is selling like hot cakes as work from homers are setting up home offices. Hubby recently sold a large desk for twice the amount I thought it should be listed in a 1/2 day after posting. If it looks “mid century modern” be sure to include it in ad.
And don’t forget home schoolers, including college students.
I suppose that makes sense…if you needed a desk at the office then you need one at home.
The companies are going to reap the benefit. You’ll be paying the rent or mortgage, the equipment, and the wifi/internet charges. All the overhead.
That’s the REAL reason corporations are going for this. They’ll save about 20% of employee costs, when you include the salary cut you’ll have to take when you move to a better area of the country with lower cost of living.
My niece works in compensation for Big Tech in SF,CA, and warned me of this. Says it’s the new normal in biz.
Actually a neighbor told me the same thing – if you move to a cheaper cost of living your pay gets dinged. Maybe the convenience, the lack of wear and tear on a car, etc. makes up for lower pay. My family in Seattle LOVES not sitting in traffic now.
The evidence thread got yanked this week and the Senate is going to crumble. Hunter holds the lifelines to many of them and he’s not going down alone. McConnell will be irrelevant soon and Wray and Barr sent home in shame. Jesus is Lord.
What “evidence thread” are you referring to? Could you please explain your comment a little bit?
Viking, probably referring to pulling on one little thread – unraveling starts, and maybe both whole sleeves fall off the jacket. Not a specific thread of reports on Twitter.
zorrorides: That’s my take, also.
Oh. that’s nothing. Look at these. Paul Ryan is directly involved in the first one:
Excess Currency & Credit From Cantillon Effect Causing SPAC Madness
New Scheme: US Banks Go Crazy Buying Mortgage Bonds To Front Run The Fed
Puts a bit of perspective on why the Glass-Steagall Act was repealed you would think? Nothing quite like having your own money printing machine is there?
Andrew Jackson was right to distrust the banks it would seem.
Well, I guess it is a “buyers market” for Big Tech then!
This is sort of a risk. Everything has changed. I wonder, will their effort be a big win?
Car sales are up, but no one is traveling. people just want their own car.
No one wants to take Uber (etc) or buses or metro.
This is a very interesting topic for discussion. What will the future look like.
A vaccine is not the fix. As an olden medical professional, vaccines are not magic.
Heard immunity is key, but will we ever have the madness of life we had pre-covid?
It is a sellers market in Northern Virginia. People want bigger homes.
In my county, some people are desperate for a nice house. I am waiting this out, real estate is always good in Northern Virginia.
Sellers Market in Northport, Long Island too – we just got 5 offers over asking on our home here – the first was within 2.5 hours of the first showing. We ended up getting an offer $43K over asking & went to Contract.
That reminds me of Superstorm Sandy. We were house hunting alongside families displaced by the floods. Always crowds lined up for the open houses, and bidding wars brought prices well above asking.
We lucked out when we met the asking price at a preview before the house was even shown. That was 5 years ago and the appraisal has now risen by 25 percent at least.
Thought it would be China buying up the west coast and LA. Looks like to came to NY first. Cuomo’s business dealings need to be audited and AOC – where are you? Don’t you have a beef with Amazon? Green New Deal – yea thought so, crickets.
Believe Democrat governors are trying to bankrupt small business’ forcing them to spend their savings, sell investments to exist. Once they are downtrodden, increase taxes and keep the boot on their neck. COVID is the take down of America.
Shockingly, I have discovered several real estate deals involving Chinese investors right here in Loudoun County. I went through the county records to see what is planned for various properties (we went from cow and milk farms, to suburbs in a matter of 30 years).
Looking at the various properties approved… I am shocked to discover everything from entire apartment complexes, shopping centers, and server buildings with Chinese investors. I find this disturbing to learn
Not surprising since Loudoun is right there in the Swamp’s NoVA suburbs. I remember when Leesburg was a quiet rural town.
Yeah, that was when we moved here. It was nice. Now, a lot has changed.
Hubbs and I are still in the big house. The daughters are living close by and happily married with adorable grand girls and one boy.
We will wait it out. Besides, I do not feel like going through all of the stuff while still taking care of my daddy (97)
No hurry. Loudoun used to be RED, now, purple.
My SIL and BIL live in Leesburg. They are loaded. Loaded. When we visit it reminds me of the fat cat houses in CT.
It’s wayyyy different than the Leesburg of 1975.
I love them, they are amazing family and I would do anything for them. But, they are caught up in the rat race. My BIL only wants to make more and more and more. And is constantly playing keep up with the Jones, outdo the Smith’s, try to pass the Gray’s.
I feel bad for my BIL (yes, his own doing) because he’s only 37 or 38 and my SIL talks to my wife about how he has chest pains, trouble sleeping, etc. Stress from closing big deals she says. He’s not in bad shape, pretty good shape actually. But I told my wife that’s not a good sign…is the money worth it? He should be more worried about being around for his daughters and son. I worry about him.
My SIL and BIL live in Leesburg. They are loaded. Loaded. When we visit it reminds me of the fat cat houses in CT.
Rosemary B: Money laundering.
My parents lived in Purcellville until their passing in 2017. They would be very upset with this+
I agree. I’ve been waiting for this to happen. All the middle class store owners are being squeezed with some forced out of business. Keep an eye out for who swoops in to buy up those businesses.
I’ve been thinking of Sundance’s description of the farm industry where little farms are gobbled up by large multinational conglomerates. Lemons crops are used in the example. A few big companies own everything. Without competition they are able to control supply, create demand and set different prices in different areas. I fear a similar thing may be taking place with these middle class store owners across the country. The virus and associated shutdown is simply the vehicle being used to execute this plan.
We can’t take our eye off the ball on this. I think that’s why our President acted so swiftly giving cash to businesses to keep them afloat during the shutdown. Not only are these businesses able to continue paying their employees, they are able to stay in business (and most importantly, brush back those waiting in the wings to swoop in and buy them all up). The attack on the middle class is thereby foiled in the process.
Cuomo sold out to China long ago.
I’m sure POTUS knows all about it…if the insignificants can figger it out.
It is interesting what is being said here about Chinese real estate buying, but how much of what is being bought now is Chinese? I recall reading back before Covid began that the squeeze caused by President Trump’s trade polices were forcing the Chinese to sell investments in the U.S., including real estate, in order to raise cash to support their economy and other needs. It doesn’t seem like they would be in a better position now. So is there any data that shows they are investing like this now?
This reminds me of a nagging question: What do these deep blue governors and mayors gain from their states’ and cities’ implosions? A transfer of wealth from honest middle-class business owners, from small businesses to larger corporations, and from local taxpayers to Chinese investors?
Is this a mass eviction of American citizens to make room for Chinese rent-payers? Won’t the Chinese–ever focused on maximized gains over the long term–pull up stakes and relocate once they realize their costs are too high in SoCal/SanFran/Portland/Seattle/Phoenix/Houston/DFW? Or will they simply bribe governors and mayors to artificially cap their tax burdens and consider the entire package the cost of doing business in these areas?
The Chinese have taken over entire countries in Africa and SE Asia via predatory lending, so this pattern is nothing new.
China-funded Big Tech will occupy NYC and any other American city it so desires and will use the mayors and governors to run the states and shift future elections.
YES. That is the plandemic.
Market manipulation. If this can be proven, it is most illegal.
A lot of workers have found out how much easier it is to work from home! No commuting, better family life and smarter kids! My bestie works for a tech company and she says she would not go back to the daily grind as it was, for anything!
Vultures.
Well, the cities offering the properties are eager to have them.
Calling out the Treeper brain trust: I need more analysis, beyond my knowledge level.
– Is this just a fiscally sound, opportunistic use of capital to take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime economic circumstance?
– Does this hint at a Plan B to survive an extinction level event, should Trump win both the election AND the election count?
– Are there any legal immunities to be gained by re-situating certain departments or functions to NYC (to go along with the political–if not COVID–immunity)?
But surly ’nuff, it ain’t for the tax shelter! (…or is it?)
I am eagerly interested as well.
I am also wondering the intent.
Step back and a bigger picture emerges. Major trade/transportation hubs, port locations are coincidental Interests to these communications masters currently taking control of narratives. Plenty of reason for concern – national security.
BIngo. Also, notice where all of the antifa disruptions have
occurred. Look at the strategic end of these different cities.
Minneapolis: major transportation hub. Louisville: interstate,
major river barge traffic, NYC largest port in U.S.
Seattle, Portland : West Coast Ports. Chicago, other towns
nearby major great lakes shipping. We have to think of this
as warfare, and think how enemy attackers would plan.
Exactly. If Biden should succeed in this 2020 election cycle…toilet paper supply will be the least of our future concerns.
NO WONDER, then, that AOC called for the Jones Act to be repealed (for Puerto Rico). Now I live in Honolulu, and the Jones Act has enabled a Matson shipping monopoly over Hawaii, easily contributing 20 to 30 percent to our living costs here. But the radicals’ pronouncements against the Jones Act could be part of the ChiComs’ master plan–the takeover of the major US ports.
The big tech companies are locating where the court judges are deep blue. Anticipation…
Facebook just bought massive real estate in Bellevue WA (Seattle area) as well. It isn’t just NYC that big tech is doing this.
Facebook just bought massive real estate in Bellevue WA (Seattle area) as well. It isn’t just NYC that big tech is doing this.

Burn it down, buy it up.
bruzedorange: The big tech companies have tons of cash and need to deploy it somewhere, so, Manhattan real estate makes sense. Manhattan real estate has always made sense. Retail is being replaced by online shopping. Finance and banking don’t need armies of “suits” working in skyscrapers. One type of worker will be replaced by another. It’s the creative destruction of (crony) capitalism.
New York City is a key node in the global infosphere. It’s where creativity, finance and commerce come together. NYC has seen bad times and bad mayors before. The bad times pass and bad mayors pass away.
Not just NY. AZ Governor Ducey has rolled out the ‘RED’ carpet to high tech and misc. businesses seeking a ‘real deal’ after thousands of small to medium-sized businesses struggled but lost due to Ducey’s ongoing ‘shut down’ using ‘phony’ Covid 19 stats ‘created’ by AZ Dept. of Health Services.

Whoa, whoa! Does Stelter’s mommie know he has a firearm?!?
All those people represent media types, I guess.
It’s just that I never, ever watch the media for facts as they are so blatantly obvious in the way they twist facts into fantasy. It’s become a propaganda arm for statist totalitarianism. Just look at how they adore Cuomo, the man who sent sick people into nursing homes, resulting in thousands of deaths. Or the repressive measures being taken against the Jews … what’s next, require Jews to wear a bright yellow star of David so they can be easily identified to avoid groups of Jews congregating? Will Chuck Todd be cheering at the forced incarceration of dissident conservatives?
Leon- the muzzle masks of submission are the new Jew badges.
So if they know it is going to end soon, doesn’t that go hand in hand with Biden winning.
Because they would not want COVID to end if PT won right?
Which means what they are really saying is they have 100% confidence that Joe’s win is in the bag. Meaning we all have been snookered on their mail-in voting fraud and possible voter Booth software fraud, right otherwise why would it end?
On the contrary, they know the plandemic’s expiration date is Nov. 4. If (when) PT wins, they will move to their next insidious plan.
_when_
Bogeyfree- We haven’t been snookered on their mail-in voting fraud at all. We know precisely what'[s going on there.
We are just powerless to stop State government’s fraud when the legislatures vote to allow it and the attorneys general refuse to prosecute it. Only in MI where a challenge has made it to an appeals court has the extended (fraudulent) counting been temporarily stopped. If the state gets it heard by SCOTUS before ACB is seated there will likely be a 4-4 tie so the appeals court ruling will stand.
Bogeyfree: Big tech does not want COVID to end. COVID has been the biggest boon for Big Tech since the invention of the internet (well, almost). Every big tech company and provider of tech services to other businesses and to professionals is pushing COVID like there’s no tomorrow, knowing full well that tomorrow will bring even more sales.
The Spawn of Satan buying up NYC real estate. What could go wrong!
Funny, my husband and I were thinking of buying a place in NYC just to flip it later- meanwhile my FIL could live in it. But my FIL lives in a rent stabilized apartment and he doesn’t want to move. Lol
As a 72 year old man, I say: Go, FIL. You tell the little buggers.
Harry, my FIL is 88 now. We love him dearly. He already lives in manhattan and has since he was 30 years old. We simply asked if he was interested in a new and updated place- we would never force him to do anything- except drink some water. I love and respect the seniors, my favorite people ?
CDC counted deaths of people WITH COVID-19 not FROM Covid-19. That’s the scam and their website actually stated WITH in the heading for the death count. Initially it was listed as deaths FROM Covid-19 but the death count was pretty low and not increasing so the CDC changed the directive and deaths soared in May and June under the heading WITH. Now it’s been changed again. This time it’s deaths INVOLVING Covid-19. Talk about a scam to remove President Trump even the CDC is involved!
I thought everyone who follows what’s going on knew all of this….
Not enough normies “follow” this. They see, at best, what Faux is hawking and at worst, what NY Slimes, CNN, and CNBC are screeching. I have friends who are so cognitively dissonant, that they can read statistics from CDC that I send them, then turn right around and catch their hair on fire with mask hysteria, super-spreaders, and all the rest of the BS that gets drummed into most of the USA’s heads 24/7. We treepers are the intelligentsia–in the true sense, not as it’s used in whackademia. Not something I ever expected to say about myself. Probably would’ve just gone with “curmudgeon” or “cynic” without the positive, sunlight message of this site!
…and I thought, when the CDC announce that only 6% of “Covid19 deaths” were from covid alone, that the whole thing would collapse (as it should, and should have way back in April at the latest). But NO-O-O-O…
Look at the bright side.
After PDJT wins in a landslide, he will use additional tarifs on CHI-NA, to make them PAY for deliberate use of Covid as a bio weopon.
A higher death count, justifies higher tarifs?
In addition to compensation for the deaths, CCP owes for cost of shutdown, cost of stimulus, cost of medical care,….adding up to TRILLIONS of dollars.
It will definitely justify a 30% tariff across the board and a 50% tariff on strategic items.
IMO. Trump has “bragged” a couple times now about how he’s built-up the US Military to the point that “it has weapon’s that China & Russia don’t know about” & they would be shocked if they knew!
Add to this, that Trump has said a couple times “that he will make China pay for releasing the Virus to the World”!
My prediction is that, after Trump wins this election, he is not only going to prosecute the “treasonous criminals” within the USA, but the criminals in other Countries also.
Now, the ONLY way I can see China paying-up for it’s crimes, is if they are defeated in a “Blitzkrieg Style” surprise attack (like Hitler did to Poland) & then Xi & the other Crime Families that run China are prosecuted for War Crimes in a Nuremberg type trial.
Why indulge in their more militant fantasies of open conflict between China and the US, when that would benefit them more given their known demographic issues? Being an authoritarian government, they require external “enemies” to maintain their political power.
There is much more pain that can be inflicted economically, and they know that. How else did they cause the United States and the World so much harm except by other means over several decades. Economic warfare where the casualties are not measured in bodies, but in lost livelihoods and the squandering of national resources.
Conventional warfare should remain a last resort.
“CHI-NA”. Hee-Hee, I see what you did there, imitating Trump. Good one.
rpcoastie- you are absolutely right:
https://nypost.com/2020/10/17/how-the-media-is-misreporting-covid-19s-death-toll-in-america/
WHO reported that influenza has disappeared since April reduced 98%(Ninety Eight).
They think we are stupid .
Covid testing rapidly expanded in April .
Influenza has be with us for centuries there is no way it disappeared.
They are playing games with us The tests are Flu and Covid and Flu is being hidden in covid figures to jack up the panic.
Big nasty Tech can buy real estate cheap but the city will eventually need the tax dollars to keep it running.
Let us watch who is footing that bill.
The Middle Class…..
…I still want to know where all of Obama’s bought-up ammunition went (!)
harrydhuffman Billions and billions of rounds!
Unfortunately, we all remain trapped in their stupid covid emg mandates and orders. Case in point, in KS our Republican State Reps have continued to renew expired emergency powers and mask mandates. I believe this is the third extension. The full Senate is not in session, so the State Finance Council is in charge.
In this link, (https://publicsquare.ks.gov/docs/default-source/sfc/meeting-materials–10-7.pdf?sfvrsn=98313627_2)
on page 9, of the most recent meeting of the State Finance Council meeting (10/7/20) it is recorded that “the state of disaster emergency must be in place for the government…to continue receiving FEDERAL EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE… (emphasis mine). ” I know it may sound naive of me not to have realized this prior, but we are all in this mess due purely because States want to continue receipt of those Federal funds. The mandates/orders have nothing to do with public safety and never did. And, our governor is Dem so she is also holding out for the Pelosi bailout of states.
As we all know, most states have lowering death rates and hospitalization rates for covid. However, the states are moving the goal posts referencing number of cases to keep public fear at a high point, and allow them to claim we still need to wear masks and continue under various stages of lockdown. Additionally, they are testing more, so of course the number of cases rises dramatically. KS Health Dept (KDHE) has doctored the covid stats not once, but twice in the last 60 days to make it appear all things Covid are much, much worse than they are. Here: https://www.printfriendly.com/p/g/sJTxdn
and Here: https://www.morningsun.net/news/20200924/kdhe-misreports-local-coronavirus-cluster-information-again
This latest article, although somewhat surface, points further to state continuing to obfuscate the stats.
https://kansaspolicy.org/covid-testing-wont-end-restrictions/?fbclid=IwAR065F_DfvfaumuYAii7dVHfJ2vmLGWHRsrWl851pnlCZsNiEoWzGLlKLy8
I am so frustrated with all of this. I hope that PT removes all Federal emergency orders related to Covid soon.
Again, Sundance nails it.
This is EXACTLY what’s going on.
Enough’s enough, yet, America?
Please run against you know who…after she votes “No” for Amy. Enough is enough of her!!
Is this the real Sarah Palin?
If it is, you are one heck of a lady. I hope you run again against Mookowski.
If it isn’t, nice comment.
It is Sarah..she posts here from it time to time..had the pleasure of meeting her twice..and I must say..she is even better looking in person!!!!
I’m pretty sure it is. I believe I’ve seen her post before on the same user and other folks vouched. Or I’m crazy.
Cool. I love you, Sarah (oops, did I say that out loud?)
After what the MSM & Social Media did to you back when you were running as John McStain’s VP, Trump should put you in charge of the FCC!
And, HI from a Canadian fan & supporter! Wish we had politicians like you here in Canada, but all we have is “traitors & pussies”!
Once again, it’s about money. It’s always about the money
Just like communism, this ridiculous narrative about ideology, the left versus the right, civil rights and social justice, etc, it’s all bull****
All that stuff is for the little people, to keep us at war with each other and divide us, while the elites slice up and divide the pie between themselves
The global elites, giant tech, Amazon and the political elites are playing the people of the world like a fiddle
Look at the games they play. Racial and sexual identity. Immigration. Historical degradation. Class warfare. White supremacy. Virus panics
We’re all nothing but moving pieces in a worldwide chess game as they manipulate and control the outcomes for maximum profit
None of the so called elites mentioned above give a rats ass about any of the “issues” of the day. Those “issues” are a means to an end, and nothing more
Money and power is all that matters to them, because power represents money, and money represents wealth, and wealth is the only true goal
Imagine if everyone understood that
It is all about changing our country from a Constitutional Republic to a Communist Country.
That’s what it’s always been about.
Globalization -vs-Nationalism.
Correct abigail, and why do they want to turn our Republic into a communist country?
See my post above for the answer
Simple:
Money, Power, Control
Power = Control
Control = Money
Money = Wealth
The end game, after all the power trips and ego massaging tyranny, is wealth
Wealth is the ultimate goal
Yes, it is always about the Money.
Every.Single.Time.
Well, it’s an endless loop between the three. That’s why it’s insane, in the end, because none of the three really satisfies, without the truth (Truth).
Covid the latest and greatest effort of the Cloward and Piven strategy
Yeup Deborah; slaps ya right upside the head.
Nothing attacks “Capitalism” better than a good pandemic lock down.. eh
So transparent.
It’s all about transforming our Constitutional Republic to Communism.
Look what they did to privately-held businesses. Shut them all down, and keep Walmart open, give everyone 1200 bucks and see where all that money ends up. It’s not rocket science.
This is how oligarchies happen. Let a very few have access to all the money, and they can buy everything. And they do. Including our government. If you think politicians come cheap, what do you think the going rate for infectious disease scientists is?
Unfortunately such is the bent of history without opposing influences to thwart them.
Most of human history has been defined as such by the few having near omnipotent power over the powerless masses of humanity. Collectivism effectively.
Individual rights as enshrined in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence is a historical aberration comparatively.
Don’t forget what God did to the Tower of Babel destroying their particular brand of Globalism. He can do it again if the Power Elites get persnickety.
Dunno. What is Fauci’s net worth these days?
Fauci turns 80 in December. Why is he still holding his paycheck and title?
Being a useful idiot must pay well.
Being a useful idiot may pay well, until which point you are no longer useful. See Vladimir Lenin.
Sherri Young: He loves the attention. It’s a drug for him. The ultimate high. His fountain of youth, until his time is up. He’s a most unlikely celebrity.
Do you think we will see him on Dancing With the Stars?! ???
I have read that Fauci holds patents on medicines. He didn’t invent them but gets a cut. I think that’s why he hated hydroxychloroquine. Because he couldn’t get his cut.
Plus he has been a powerful Dem operative this year.
Horrible little weasel, I might add. Responsible with Cuomo for a lot of death and destruction.
I question the “End Soon” narrative — regardless of who wins the Presidential election.
And, I question this because of the irrational fear & absurdity displayed by many (and I do mean ‘many’) of my fellow citizens.
The fear is real. The mask-wearing Nazi’s, are just that — Nazi’s. Well, actually — they are quite viscous people. They are ‘over-the-top’; nasty; pitbull-like people.
So, I think I have a question.
WHAT will it take — what is it going to take — to ‘flip’ these people?
They have thrown their entire lives & mindset into “Covid-19 is going to kill us all!”, that they have become these manically obsessed people.
Case in point. I took my vehicle in yesterday for an oil change. Everyone within the dealership was wearing masks. I told them they all looked like bank robbers.
They proceeded to tell me that if they DON’T wear masks (as they have tried), someone ‘reports’ them on Facebook.
So, there you go. How to stop the “Karen’s” from their outrageous behavior???
Liberty- I too question when and if the muzzle masks will ever be removed from the general populace in Blue/Commie states like my own Gulag of Killer Cuomo’s NY.
Today I worked on Main Street in our beautiful village on the Hudson River, about 50 miles north of NYC. It was a perfect fall day with many hundreds of tourists from all over. I would say that 99.9% of the people walking around OUTDOORS were wearing full face muzzles from just below the eyes, covering the rest of their faces.
I do not wear a mask unless I absolutely have to. I walked from one end of Main St. to the other through the mask wearing zombies and I couldn’t believe the reaction. FEAR. No matter how masked up these a-holes were, they moved away as soon as they saw me coming, like they would get sick just from walking past me.
It is not going to be easy to overcome the FEAR that’s been pumped into these morons..
When I encounter the fear reaction whilst wandering mask-less I sing “Run Awayyyy!” with oftentimes a little prancing for effect. Great fun.
Again, I believe the 24/7 media coverage is what’s driving all the fear. Once the media shuts up about it, you may be surprised at how short people’s memories are.
My mom and dad talk about how frightened everyone (including them) was in the fifties during the Cold War about the possibility of nuclear war with the USSR. People were building backyard bomb shelters and everything.
They are low info Democrats ,a week of bread and circuses and new hobgoblen to stress on and covid 1984 will be history.
I was doing some research on local restaurants. I live in a resort town. The reviews of restaurants are chock full of people coming here on vacation, eating out, and then writing a bad review of the restaurant because they didn’t “sanitize enough” or “everybody didnt wear a mask”……so many little tattletails trying to cause trouble for someone, anybody, everybody else. They all need to stay home.
As if the restaurants don’t have enough trouble staying open…..
Everyone here in eastside of the lake Seattle suburbs who worked in offices for the Lazy B,Big A & Mighty M (Boeing, Amazon & Microsoft) and those companies that support them are now working from home. I don’t know if there will be a need for those office spaces as the companies are saving bundle$ to have the employees at home. The cost of internet, phone, electricity, heat and water, work space desk, chairs, printers, monitors, ergonomic needs, etc are not compensated. Plus if they move to permanent work from home the company can cut building mortgage or rent costs. Microsoft & Amazon are $aving a ton of money on their private shuttle bus service and metro bus passes to take employees to & from work and between offices. Also there are the company expenses associated with building maintenance, food service and security…
Maybe Amazon’s plan is for more mega massive warehouse space, or converting the office space to work from home pod abodes for employees like former mill or company towns.
Or maybe the company feeling philanthropic, is planning convert the space into housing for the homeless, (Sarca$m)
Working from home – I billed the company I worked for every month for phone and internet, the company bought the laptop, printer and credenza all was stored in – aka my office. It was FABULOUS! Good deal for the company and me.
We can all blather, blather all day long about how horrible this is now.
My God it’s been going on for Decades!
Where has all this outrage been in the past?
It was going on in the 80’s and Donald Trump was screaming about it then!!
I have been accused of wearing a tinfoil hat every time I mentioned anything about corruption in NYS. Or this Chi-Com Flu Scam from day 1.
I knew what was going on; I worked in it for God’s sake!
So, now the situation at hand is this:
The Communists in this country can and are literally taking away our Constitutional Rights Boldly, as in Slapping our Faces and Spitting upon Us with Censoring Free Speech.
This may result in the Most Corrupt, Incompetent Individual(known in my lifetime), becoming our 46th President of the United States.
And now, at this very moment people are seeing for the first time and are outraged.
Give me a friggin’ break.
Totally agree with Sundance’s assessment. After the election, the scamdemic simply has no more political value and withers on the vine.
What I’m having trouble figuring out is how all the other countries in the world fit in with the COVID hype. Have they also been using it for political leverage against President Trump, or are they just following the lead set by the US media? Once the US media drops it, will every other country follow suit?
Globalism. One world order is the goal.
Well it certainly ended all the European protests in a hurry.
This is the same device cities like NYC are using. Wrap themselves in virtue by continuing to suspend rent payments knowing that the property owners will have to bail out at some point and then the city makes everything public housing. This is how they destroy private ownership.
Maybe I am just to cynical at this point, but I thinking in my head for months that the covid farse was to make prime real estate prices collapse so our enemies ( China, Iran, Russia et al) could buy or rent cheap. Not good.
The problem for NYC isn’t commie De Blasio, it is the people who elected commie De Blasio, and with the exodus almost certainly being made up primarily of the people who DIDN’T vote for De Blasio, the insane commie left will have more of a stranglehold on the city than ever going forward, beyond any power of Democrat run big-media to propagandize this cohort in a more moderate direction.
It’s like Portland where after five years under anti-police soft-on-Antifa governors and mayors so many of the sane people have been driven out that the soft-on-Antifa mayor is about to routed electorally by an actual Antifa candidate.
Sorry Facebook, Amazon and Google but there is no recovery from a majority Maoist electorate stacked with college dropouts and college grads who are burdened by life-wrecking amounts of education debt and no saleable knowledge or skills.
They are dead-enders for communism. They don’t want a recovered city. They want to burn it all down the way their own lives were burned down by their phony educations. And you commie social media monopolists did that. You wrecked these lives, so go ahead and bet on them. Give them that small measure of revenge.
Where’s the picture?
YOU know the one.
The one of the big city, vs the people living OUTSIDE the city?
THATS the appropriate picture, for THIS article.
As for me, I am already OUT, and encourage any who can, to consider getting OUT of the city, while you can.
But hey, that’s me and mine,..
Utopia. I kept it on my laptop for years but finally deleted it recently.
Congress should put a full investigation into this, and treat this like price gouging in reverse.
Hi WhiteBoard,
Acknowledging that I read your reply to my last comment to you.
It’s like all this alarm over “Climate Change”. The climate is always changing, and the idea that somehow Humankind can stop it is a load of castrated bull parts. But it helps al gore buy an oceanfront property in California, and the obamas buy a mansion that’s 400ft from the ocean.
It’s what soros called “Reflexivity” in his book The Alchemy of Finance, and it is exactly how Sundance describes it. Create a crisis, ride the wave of corrective measures that people take to mitigate the crisis, and then get out before everybody else realises it was all a scam.
They won’t do crap…but I get your point.
No no no. You see they will do an investigation and their finding will be how totally on the up and up everything is and how any suggestion contrary has been verified as misinformation put out there by either the Russians or White Supremacists (TM); they alternate everyone other investigation.
Right. More BS rechanneling!
They will find that all the looting and lockdowns were done “by the book.”
And no one had ‘intent’ so no crime was committed.
Congress didn’t stop them from censorship….it’s up to us.
I always thought this was a scam for china to buy up as much of the us as possible. So I was not wrong just different crooks.
I have said both and we are both right. I also said our gubt must be vigilant to stop it.
Do you remember when they said TRUMP was an axx because he took advantage of market conditions and bought real estate?
Remember when they said a recession wouldn’t be so bad? And then THEY created one.
I truly hope they are all shut down over this.
Could not agree more you are spot on. Thanks
As if Manhattan wasn’t fortitude enough for progressive communist. No doubt no one here is surprised by this.
I think everyone is being a bit generous, tech companies et al are not being opportunistic at all they are executing the plan, bought and paid for political officials are intentionally stripping out existing owners so their masters can hoover it all up, position placement for the Everything Bubble and all that jazz.
Unintended consequences will rear there heads though and poison the pill so to speak in the end, but that is likely a long haul away time wise I would reckon. In the mean whiles these companies will have their cesspools to conjure up what terrors they may.
After me the deluge?
Ever and always, with chasing wealth…For the love of money is…well, you know that already, so yeah. You always end up caught in the lemming stampede.
Well said and ever so alas Mr Huffman.
Indeed totally fubar, after deploying ” The Terror ” they believe they will be immune from it, probably downloaded into some sort of ghost in the machine contortion, just like Alphabets dear leader.
Pardon my french but to quote a terrible show you should not watch, ” the sheer f***ing hubris ” of it is astonishing, as is everything else these perfidious w***ers do.
This piece by Sundance dovetails with what Catherine Austin Fitts discusses in her interview with Alex Jones a couple days ago. She maps out all the addresses where buildings were burned down in Minneapolis and Portland, and just so happens, most if not all of the buildings were in opportunity zones, about 90% in Minneapolis all along Lake St.
So this all amounts to a real estate grab, where Antifa is the demolition crew, being told specifically where to burn, and the usual suspects coming in and scooping these places up for peanuts.

Cuomo and Deblasio just used the plot to the movie Robocop, and just applied it to NYC. Minus the hero of course.
Has anyone taken a serious look at the subway/commuter rail impact lately from COVID19 lockdowns?
Particularly, in such older Northeastern systems such as Boston, New Haven, NYC, Philadelphia, and Balt-DC? And Amtrac?
My impression is that cleaning efforts have been a joke, ridership is way down, and most transportation authorities needed serious cash infusions even before the China virus.
Now while largely ignored, my guess is that new individual cost overruns will be massive.
I’m certain Boston & New York couldn’t just slash service because poor working folks depended on them.
But it’s those from the burbs that will now work from home, or choose to drive rather than ride.
So who’s making up the lost revenue?
Public transportation was supposed to be what made urban gentrification possible.
Why bother with an expensive car when everything’s right there?
What’s happened to that Millennial rush to city living now?
Has that trust in commuter mover systems now been shattered for the next few years?
How will that reality affect these buy-up city property schemes just discussed?
For the kids of Baby Boomers, their patience at waiting for cities to right themselves may be waning. Especially when babies or young families could be a next step.
Wonder if they want to turn NYC into one of those hi-tech cities that are ruled via communist dictators….oh wait, that’s exactly what they are doing.
Yeah, this is the line of logical progression to ‘smart cities’, where high tech runs everything with AI…they need the real estate for proof of concept towards realization. If you don’t know what I mean, look it up…its grand NWO stuff. All the same players in ole world geopolitics married to the new tech oligarchs. All designed to destroy everything we stand for.
There is a lot of NYC office space sitting completely empty at the moment. Most of the people that fill those offices every day commute from distant locals such as NJ & CT or from the boroughs. They won’t be back until it is safe to cram into train cars which it very much is not. The only thing worse is flying. The executives have luxury apartments in Manhattan but they all left for their summer homes or other homes. My company has no idea if they will ever re-open their NYC offices. Right now we are shooting for Jan 4th to re-open most offices but who knows. It’s very much up in the air. The cost of real estate is falling in NYC, especially retail space at street level but it won’t be long before there is a large number of floors going up for rent as companies decide not to re-open their NYC office space and when their leases expire.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to permanently delete my Facebook account and I finally realized that all I have to do is post a contrary conservative view. Easy peasy.
People keep saying that people who work fro home will want to keep working from home.
How is that done? By computer, via HIGH TECH companies.
Will tech companies soon be shutting down work from home folks via shutting them out, like censorship is now shutting out conservative voices?
Will the now work-by-computer folks be REQUIRED to vote COMMIE or lose their computer usage/ thus their computer assisted jobs through those very companies now buying NYC?
Big Brother=high tech.
“what became obvious early on was how the virus could be weaponized for maximum political value” And the GOPe has stood back quietly and all while Conservatism, Inc. sits back sipping on their martinis without a care in the world. Maybe someday we can form a conservative/libertarian movement to push back and defeat the Progs.

Here is what is on the horizon for cov. World wide morbidity numbers will look much like 2019 as 2020 ends meaning that Cov was really a non issue and made up by the media. Science will show that masks do nothing like using a soccer net to stop a golf ball again a media hype. Herd immunity will take hold and people will lose interest. The liberal/progressive/demorat/left/confederates will lie about each and every improvement. Not improvement from cov but improvement from Tyrants in government putting their knee on the neck of business.
The next COVID bailout will likely include indemnity for businesses that re-open. Then the buildings will start to fill back up. But no way NYC comes back to it’s former glory.
Makes you wonder what Deblasio is getting out of this. Ruining his city on purpose. There must be a gain of some kind for him.
